Very impressed with this company after their appointment this morning, installing two new outlets for the new dryer I bought. I had a very friendly electrician named Eddy who did a fast job and gave me a small discount after I asked.

Wow  !  fantastic    service.   i  called  for  a   couple  of    electrical   problems in my  apartment.    burnt  out    outlet and   no lights in  back  rooms.     the   electrician  arrived  exactly on time, as he   said  he  would  when i called  the night   before.    he  completed  the    job   in  about   20   minutes.    he  replaced the    burnt  out  wall  unit,   plugged  in my   AC    restored   lights  in  back  room.     fast,   efficient,   clean  worker.      whether  you  have a  small or  big  job,  this    is  the company  to  call.    the  price ????    perfect  !!   very  low  .

If you want a quick response and professional service go with Devinchy! I wish I was able to explain the issues we had. Suffice it to say we had electrical problems that required more than replacing a fuse! These guys were obviously quite knowledgeable because I could not really explain the problem other than stuff didn't work. They were able to figure it out like electric detectives! I called at 7:30 one morning and not only were they open, but Dan stopped by an hour later. Forty-five minutes after that my problem was fixed. The price was very reasonable too. After a different electrician canceled on me earlier in the week and wouldn't return my calls this was a wonderful change of pace.

One of my home appliances was not working. So, I just called at Berkeys and asked them to send an electrician. The electrician came and did his job well but he came too late.

The most sexist,  most condescending salespeople and manager EVER. I went in looking for an exterior lightfixture with the junction box built in (so one does not have to chop out the exterior wall to put in a junction box.) They derisively told me no such thing exists. They are idiots, because a typical utility light is like that. I just was looking for something more aesthetic for our Greenwich Village brownstone. I explained it, asked for manager and the manager continued in this abusive fashion. If you want helpful, knowledgable sales people for electric go to Lendy's on the bowery where all the electricians go -- and where my electrician bought me. They explained that the only product available is a utility light, they even advised against buying black because they know the paint scratches off.  Avoid this obnoxious shop at all costs.

I can not say enough good things about  this company and the employes.
I had gotten 2 estimates from other area electricians , the proposals included work they said i needed and the quotes were staggering.
Forest hills electrical was the last quote , they arrived to the minute expected .
took a look explained what i REALLY  needed and gave me an estimate on the spot .
I tried to hide my shock as they were  4 times less !!!!.
That night they emailed me as promised a contract and we booked the appointment ,
They showed on time  did all the work , cleaned up totally the area they worked in the basement and in the tenants apartment .
First time this tenant did not complain .
The workers were polite and so nice i had to write this review and i am thrilled to know i have an electrician i can call , recommend should i need one .
unfortunately old school business like this rarely exist any more
