We noticed a problem with an electric outlet and called Diamond Electrical Services. Tony called back within minutes and said he'd be at our place first thing in the morning. He did, service was up and we were extremely happy with Tony and the service he provided. Would absolutely call him back for any electrical problem.

Very impressed with this company after their appointment this morning, installing two new outlets for the new dryer I bought. I had a very friendly electrician named Eddy who did a fast job and gave me a small discount after I asked.

Wow  !  fantastic    service.   i  called  for  a   couple  of    electrical   problems in my  apartment.    burnt  out    outlet and   no lights in  back  rooms.     the   electrician  arrived  exactly on time, as he   said  he  would  when i called  the night   before.    he  completed  the    job   in  about   20   minutes.    he  replaced the    burnt  out  wall  unit,   plugged  in my   AC    restored   lights  in  back  room.     fast,   efficient,   clean  worker.      whether  you  have a  small or  big  job,  this    is  the company  to  call.    the  price ????    perfect  !!   very  low  .

John from Port Washington Electric is great, called him on a Tuesday explained to him what I needed done, gave me an appointment for the following week in a Monday, showed up on time and did the work promptly.  Fairly priced, John and his helper were  professional, polite and courteous.  I highly recommend using them for all your electrical needs!!

Great service, they detected an electrical fire that had burned inside the wall. Glad they were able to change the outlets in time.

Our experience was not a positive one, and recommend caution before considering Baran Electric to do work for you.
The electricians sent to correct our path lights did not arrive with the correct materials and with the clock running went to purchase what was needed adding time and cost to the job.  After doing the work, we had multiple situations when the path lights would not work.  This resulted in me having to reset the outlets installed.  I reported this to Dan who told me this could be caused by other problems with my lights, and was most likely not his work that was at fault.  You would think a responsible professional would come by, he is just a few miles away, to see if there was anything done by Baran Electric that could have caused the problem.  Instead I was told I would be charged a minimum of $125 if he didn't think his work could have resulted in the problems we were experiencing.  I regret ever using Baran Electric.  My path lights are not working after paying fully for the work done, and was spoke to in a rude manner by Dan.

Pedro was great! He really knows what he is doing.  I had a power outage at 1am on Christmas eve while having people over at my apartment. PK & Altman responded and diagnosed the issue quickly and it was fixed within the hour!! Thank you so much for saving the night, I will definitely be a returning costumer

The most sexist,  most condescending salespeople and manager EVER. I went in looking for an exterior lightfixture with the junction box built in (so one does not have to chop out the exterior wall to put in a junction box.) They derisively told me no such thing exists. They are idiots, because a typical utility light is like that. I just was looking for something more aesthetic for our Greenwich Village brownstone. I explained it, asked for manager and the manager continued in this abusive fashion. If you want helpful, knowledgable sales people for electric go to Lendy's on the bowery where all the electricians go -- and where my electrician bought me. They explained that the only product available is a utility light, they even advised against buying black because they know the paint scratches off.  Avoid this obnoxious shop at all costs.

We had a light fixture replaced in our pre-war Kew Gardens co-op efficiently by a team of three from Forest HIlls Electrical Contracting. They were fast, put together a complicated fixture, and the price was good. They left no mess. Let there be light!
