Best Plumbing Services in Hawaii
I needed to replace my water line that ran from from under my sink, under my kitchen floor, to my newly-installed fridge because the line was kinked at the fridge end and started leaking at the connection to the fridge. I already bought the copper line for the replacing just to save money.
I had two options
1) Replace the entire 6-8 foot copper line = however the plummer would need to re-route the line (thereby possibly demolitioning my floor or going under my house to find the route of the line)
2) Cut the line at the kink site and just use a compression fitting to join a new line from that point on and then connect the new end to the fridge.
I called Sunday morning and the guy who answered the phone was EXTREMELY helpful. He told me step-by-step what work options they had and told me they normally charge $90/hr but since it was Sunday, it was $180/hr (totally understandable). He said it would be about a 1-2 hour job. He gave me the option to fix my problem the economical way or the long-term way. He did not try to sway me either way and just told me the pros and cons of each. The difference was going to be an hour of labor cost. We actually talked for about 20 minutes(!) and I proceeded to book them for Monday morning for the lowered labor cost.
Due to certain circumstances, I had to have it repaired on Sunday and could not wait until Monday so I cancelled my appointment later that day.
I cant vouch for their service or their promptness, but their rates and customer service is a plus. However, the steps that he described to me that they would have been doing seemed thorough.
I learned two things; try to have plumbing services on a weekday, and to call Fast Rooter Plumbing for the next job.

I have made several attempts at contacting this plumber as his reviews speak for themselves. After several attempts, voicemails and texts, I have given up. Poor showing for a business owner not to return calls to potential customers.

Little Big Plumbing deserves its many positive reviews: they were very professional in every respect, from how they answered the phone and returned calls immediately, how their plumbers, Chris and Josh, called me to let me know when they would be coming, to the work they performed in quickly diagnosing and repairing my leak problem. Chris and Josh were excellent. I am delighted to know who I can call if I ever have another plumbing problem.

The only Plumbing/Irrigation Supply business that opens on weekends. As fate happens only on the most inconvenient times (weekends). Checked out several places, but only Urban Farmer was open with the right parts to fix my irrigation system. Called and spoke with Steve who verified that they had the parts needed in stock. Great place for your irrigation needs. They have interesting gardening tools. Like a Weeder that they named Crack Weedeater. It's a thin metal blade that has teeth angled up so when you insert it next to the weed the teeth grab the roots and pulls the whole weed out. Pretty neat stuff. Check them out for your irrigation and gardening needs.

We had a really scary wake up call 11 days after getting the keys to our new house in Wahiawa. The toilets wouldn't flush and there was a backup of something disgusting in both bathtubs - which really looked like (and was confirmed to be) sewage backing up out of the sewer main line. Nothing was disclosed by the sellers, and all of the toilets and tubs, sinks etc. worked throughout our inspections, so we were perplexed and scared. Turns out we had reason to be. After 4 separate plumbers, including Pipe Masters, independently verified with 3 camera inspections that the entire sewer main needed to be either replaced or rehabilitated QUICKLY, it became obvious we would need to come up with serious $$ to take care of something below ground that was totally unexpected. My husband and I both had our own versions of a meltdown.
To get to the point, Pipe Masters charged us to do the initial hydrojet and camera inspection, and it wasn't cheap. But they explained very clearly how they would do it, what they were looking for, and managed our expectations throughout. We ended up needing to come up with a lot of money for a big re-coating job of the entire sewer main line, but Arvin, Jason, and Bernard did such an AMAZING job of making the experience as easy and painless as possible. The other companies quoted us far more, and it did not feel like they gave us enough explanation about exactly what they were going to do.
Every single step with Pipe Masters was professional, prompt, and clear. I would recommend them to anyone who is considering pipe re-coating, re-lining, or really anything to do with their pipes. These guys are legit, they are honest, and they were the least expensive bid that we got. Thank you Pipe Masters.

At first I scheduled an appointment and the plumber didn't show up or call to say he couldn't make it. However, when I called back today the gentleman that answered the phone was very polite and he apologized for yesterday's mishap. The plumber that came to my houses name is Neil and Neil not only did a great job but he was a nice guy too. He even had the courtesy to remove his boots before coming into the house.
When Neil was finished he apologized again for the no call no show and he told me that he would charge me for only part of the work he did today. I would absolutely without a doubt call Shaka plumbing again if I have plumbing problems. I can see why they have 5 star Yelp reviews, it's because they're honest plumbers who conduct themselves in a professional way. They truck Neil drove was clean and well organized and even the clothing that he wore was clean and he had his shirt tucked in which shows that these guys care about what they do and they take it seriously.

Hired Ben to install a mount in my ceiling. Quoted 320.00 which seems high, but ceiling beam was 13 feet up. Arrived on time, took about an hour. Would give another star, but mount is little off centered and paint on 2 lag bolts rubbed off when he used a electric drill to tighten bolts.

The foreman was very nice and understanding regarding safely going to eat breakfast near the job site and crane . It was fascinating to watch their crew work. I don't live where they worked but park there. Wanted to commend them on a dangerous job well done.

If I could give Imua Plumbing 10 STARS I would! I had 3 other companies come out and all they did was spot fixed. Keli'i came out and knew exactly what to do and got it fixed efficiently and effectively! Very friendly and willing to take the time to explain things. He was booked for the day, but he squeezed in my emergency sewer backup. So impressed! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!

The manufacturer of our water heater Stiebel Eltron recommended him to us.
Prior to Tom we had calls out to three plumbers with no response.
I called Tom on Thursday he answered promptly and we set an appointment for Saturday at 6:30 am.
He arrived promptly and he installed the parts necessary.
We did have to call an electrician to put in a new circuit breaker to get power to the water heater.
Tom called the next day inquiring about the heater which worked fine! I was pleasantly surprised that anyone would follow up when their work was completed. He was honestly concerned.
The next day the heater overheated and I texted Tom. He immediately called me back and told me what to do until he could get there the following morning!
Again he arrived on time and figured out the new problem and fixed that too.
I haven't had customer service like that in years! He was getting some calls for service by other people and still stayed as long as needed to solve our problem.
I highly recommend Tom and Iron Horse plumbing to anyone in need of service.
And he came from the opposite side of the island too!!
Thanks Tom!

My 62 yo pipes in my residential home of 3 beds 2 bath were deteriorating throughout the house with fractures , holes, and excessive scaling. I needed over 100feet of Nu flow lining. Initially another company did video and gave me an over the top estimate, after, I asked for senior kamaaina discount, they came down some, but still too high. Nu flow reviewed the video and gave me a price I thought was fair. The crew; Justin, Ethan, Wilson, Lomtal, did an excellent job, worked very hard, kept me in the loop, on time, respectful, and professional. I will gladly referred Nu Flow South Pacific to family and friends.

I got an estimate and thought Duke would be able to help me, but got no response after leaving a message saying I wanted to set up the job. I don't recommend this guy.

Scary. Just about to take their proposal, they think we're going to take it, and then, when we call, we can't get a hold of them. Interesting.
They are the same company as Hawaii Drain pros. Did they change your name because of a bad reputation?
They got a one star rating on BBB and even had problems documented at RICO

Got a decent quote from Jay. Said he could be out between 7:30-8:00pm. Great! Asked for pics of my pipes, which I sent, then never heard from him again. No, I can't make it tonight. No Can I reschedule? Just silence. I even tried calling and he wouldn't answer the phone. I could've spent that time finding a more reliable plumber.

We have been trying for over a year to get them to call for inspection on a plumbing permit they pulled for work done on our house. They refuse to call back or help us in any way and we cannot call for inspection because they opened the permit. Please do not use this company.
