We wanted to remodel our condo eventually & came across Lin Construction. Mr Lin and Megan ( manager) came out to greet us and they were very attentive especially Megan who know I am pressing for times this time around. She asked me what my preferences were and suggested to look at cabinets/ flooring at couple of different places. She took her times to meet us there and trying to find the style I am after. At the end we went to a custom cabinet place to see if my vision can become a reality and now I am waiting for a quote to see how much it will cost. Since I am not in a hurry and have learned a lot from the people on the island is to make sure all the supplies are there before work will start and that including all the appliances. Will update this post once I reach out to Megan again most likely in January before we can really starting to seriously redoing our condo since our daughter and family  there for her schooling and she won't be done until June of next year

I would highly recommend Frank and his services to both my family and friends for any job around the house or office. He is knowledgeable, on time, and professional. He even offered suggestions on other ways to fix the problem which actually ended up saving me time and money.  You can definitely see that he has experience. I would suggest quit putting it off, and let Frank do it.

I had a broken diverter on my tub spout. I called Tyler and he troubleshooted the problem very quickly. He came out to fix it within a couple of hours. Modesto Mo is the most reliable, knowledgeable and most easiest to work with plumber on island. He knows his stuff when it comes to plumbing, troubleshooting and repair. Clogged pipes, leaky faucets, you name it. Mo can do it! And his rates are more than reasonable. Don't hesitate and call Mo for all your plumbing needs.

Most genuine people I've ever met. Very hard working and friendly. Educated and does very good work. Appreciated concern and perseverance at fixing the problem.

I needed a estimate on the cost of a plumbing problem and seeing good reviews on yelp I decided to call Hawaii Drain Pros but guess what they wanted about $35.00 up front for them to give us an estimate .They came out at about the time they said they coming out, a + for them but they  did not give me the estimate of the job I wanted done but instead told me that I had to have the  line snaked with a camera ($1200.00) & $600 from that would be used towards lthe repair of what I wanted done. Still no estimate on the cost to do some trenching and digging . The problem I had was that the sewer pipe were laying on the ground  and I needed to have the dirt dug out from under the pipe or hang the sewer pipes up + to trench an opening to get underneath ( through the years dirt has accumulated near the opening) but got none of that . Why couldn't they have just told me it will cost you $$$ for trenching  $$$ for hanging up the pipes but you might have problems with these other things later on and we suggest this, and let me decide.

Called Yamada plumbing for estimate for bathroom remodel. Scheduled an appointment and no one showed up or didn't call. Don't waste your time.

I've hired HNL Plumbing for about $30,000 of water line and drain line work on a house built in the 50s.  Sidney is great but the owner or boss is not.  Their hourly rate is $120-130/hr which I think is high but then once you get the bill, they probably added a whole lot more hours to the actual work.  They added 14 hours more hours, $1,680 to my bill.  They will bill you for time they aren't at the job site and for their lunches.  I told them how long I saw them at the job site since they left before 3pm everyday and the owner said no.  I think they definitely over billed me for their time.  Now they won't bid or work for me anymore since I can count their hours too.  Shady business practices trying to steal your money.

My experience was the worst customer experience I have every encountered. I asked if they had someone available to unclog by kitchen sink, they said yes, someone would respond and be at my home in 4 hrs. Then 4 hrs later I called again, and the guy was running late on a job, and they would call just as soon as he was free. So I call again, same excuse. 8 hrs later they called to cancel, as their equipment was broken. So they said. They did disclose that  they were short staffed, like 1 guy for the whole island. So instead of letting me know, they kept me hanging. I would have gone elsewhere had I known. I don't have a lot of extra time to sit around waiting as just wanted the job done. The dispatcher kept saying she could about a 10% discount. That's pennys on the dollar and I just wanted the job done, not a lousy discount. So then they set up an appt. the next morning for 8 am. Well lo and behold I received no phone call or technician. They called me that afternoon to say we were on the schedule never even acknowledging that I had an 8 am appt.  Never ever heard back from them. Save your time and get someone who is responsible and doesn't give you the run around. This company gets an F grade from me.
