Once again my elderly house was in dire need, we arrived home from 2 weeks on the mainlad to a situation where our water was OFF and there had been a  huge leak during our absence. I called Sidney Reyes at 10:30 on a Saturday night and he answered with my name before the second ring. We scheduled for this morning and he arrived 45 minutes early and the repair was complete in 20 minutes. I cannot thank him enough.  He makes me feel truly taken care of.

Sidney Reyes at Honolulu Plumbing is a terrific plumber.  Not only does he fix whatever your plumbing problem currently is, he is very smart and proactive, he looks ahead to what needs doing to make sure things are fixed correctly, not just patched up. His extensive knowledge and experience mean the problem is always solved correctly.  I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I've hired HNL Plumbing for about $30,000 of water line and drain line work on a house built in the 50s.  Sidney is great but the owner or boss is not.  Their hourly rate is $120-130/hr which I think is high but then once you get the bill, they probably added a whole lot more hours to the actual work.  They added 14 hours more hours, $1,680 to my bill.  They will bill you for time they aren't at the job site and for their lunches.  I told them how long I saw them at the job site since they left before 3pm everyday and the owner said no.  I think they definitely over billed me for their time.  Now they won't bid or work for me anymore since I can count their hours too.  Shady business practices trying to steal your money.
