When i found water on my floor in the garage I called a number of friends who told me i needed a leak detector before i called a plumber. A number of plumbers also told me that it would be prudent to hire someone to find the leak. So, I asked who would be good for this task and friends and plumbers all named Above and Beyond Leak Detection as one of the best around. named Above and Beyond Leak Detection as one of the best around. lso told me that it would be prudent to hire someone to find the leak. So I hired Trent Sherman to find this leak and that is exactly what he did. With precision and polite professionalism he crawled under the bushes, used compressed air and the coolest infrared tool to find the exact area behind a water heater where he marked the spot with blue tape that showed the plumbers exactly where this leak was. It was amazing that he found a pinhole leak within an inch or two inside a block wall with his tools and his knowledge of the nature of leaks.
But Trent didn't stop there. When I saw more water near my washing machine the next day after the leak was fixed , Trent came all the way across town to help me again on his own time. That time he just tightened a hose onto the faucet and that stopped the leak but he went farther and found another leak in my shower that he identified as a bad cartridge in the on/ off valve. I changed that but I still was seeing my water meter spinning, showing that water was coming from somewhere else in the house.
These other leaks were not there when Trent identified the first leak... they apparently opened up when the system was pressurized with water again.
So Trent, again on his own time , came out to find that leak and after using many scientific detection devices discovered the notorious leak in the main water pipe going into my house from outside.
If it had not been for Trent's knowledge of what to look for I still would not have known where that last leak was located. He even helped me by installing a valve that helps me fill buckets of water up for my toilets and washing dishes and bathing without going to the main water meter in the front yard, until i can have a plumber come out to fix the problem.
One great quality that i really liked about Trent's approach to leak detection is that he was not just doing a job but was so into helping me as a customer that he not only went above and beyond what he was there for but he earned my trust so much that when i asked him if i should have my house repiped or just fix the leak and save some money, he gave me his honest assessment and recommended that i do the repipe ( of which he does not profit in at all, by the way).
I hope i never have to deal with leaks again in my house after i have it repiped but if i ever had any problems with water intrusion or needing detection, i wouldn't even miss a heartbeat before i called Trent Sherman at Above and Beyond Leak Detection.
Now I know why he calls his company by that name!! You won't find anyone as friendly, respectful and willing to serve ( and bend over backwards for his customers) than my friend Trent Sherman.

I really wanted to like this company, based on the other reviews, but I didn't have a positive experience.
The scheduling department was very nice and accommodating. I called on a Wednesday and made the appointment for a Monday (most convenient for me and was not an emergency situation).
However on the day of the appointment, the technician called at 8AM to say he needed documents faxed to him regarding the parts for repair (for a small commercial business). The appointment was for 8-10AM. It's unprofessional to call during the time of the appointment to ask for paperwork that could have been requested when the appointment was made, or at any time during the 3 business days leading up to the appointment. I can't vouch for their work because it didn't happen, but I'm disappointed with the lack of organization.

I would like to express my appreciation for the exceptional service provided by Dunston Plumbing. They were prompt arriving exactly at the time promised. I have dealt with them for over 18 years and will continue to do so should the need for their services arise.
Very professional in every respect. Fair and reasonable prices. A+

My mom's shower faucet broke with part of it still inside the wall. She's recovering from surgery so the tub/shower combo in another room wasn't an option for her at this time. Teles Plumbing was able to come to her home in 2 hours and took care of the problem! Arsenio did a great job. I even had him give me a quote for another issue and will be having him return for it!

Dennis and Mandy are helpful beyond words. I've been looking for bath fixtures for weeks including the big box stores (who seem not to have employees who know their own product). Dennis, on the other hand, was knowledgeable, patient, and had tons of ideas. I found the products that I wanted at a very reasonable price. If they don't have what you want and stock a special order is just a day or a couple of days away at the most.

Reasonable prices and a very nice person. He immediately came and gave us a quote. I highly recommend.

American Leak Detection technician came to look at my pool was very courteous and professional. He worked on the pool quick and went over his findings with me. He also sent a report via email. I was completely happy with the way work was done.

We had an emergency leak at a rental house on a Saturday; Carlos answered his phone (everyone else was an answering machine) and offered some hands on solutions since he was in the middle of a job and not able to rush over there.
He was very nice and made multiple calls to both me and my tenant. Thankfully, we were able to resolve this issue without an emergency call. I totally would use him in the future.

We are so happy we chose Westbrook to do our Plumbing and AC. We live in a 93yr old historic home so the plumbing had a lot of surprise difficulties after it began. The entire team was knowledgeable and professional and committed to making it right. The completed work is excellent. We will absolutely use them again in the future. The drywall repair at the end of the job also excellent.

Just called this company. I'm moving into a new place and wanted to know if we could afford to install a bidet. I politely explained I wasn't looking for an over the phone estimate or committed price, just a rough ballpark of what a bidet might cost in a typical bathroom to add on. I was told they charge $100 an hour and wouldn't give me any information over the phone because that wouldn't be fair to me or them.
What's not fair is simply calling to see if you can remotely afford something and then being price gouged to get any information.
If I ran a law practice this way when people called with their problems, I would have no clients. The woman didn't even spend more than 60 seconds with me.

Called on Friday for a plumbing situation (non emergency) the gentleman was very professional on the phone, explained they were booked for the day and next appointment will be Monday. I agreed, he said someone was going to stop by between 8-10, sure enough I got my call early Monday morning to confirm the visit, the person arrived in a timely manner, again very professional, fixed what had to be fixed all in less than an hour, perfect timing as I had a work call scheduled for 10:00. I do recommend this company

Called twice--they hung up on me both times. Asked on second call, can you hear me? She responded, Yes, I can hear you. Click. Rude.

Initial sales and installation of a water heater with AirTap heat exchanger attachment were fine. When the system failed 5 months later under warranty, they sent someone to look at it. We then spent the next two weeks without hot water while they tried to track down parts. The communication during this time was spotty to nonexistent, then turned combative, eventually resulting in them refusing to service the under warranty part because it was not purchased from them, even though the manufacturer had offered to pay for the labor. If they had explained to us earlier that we needed to take it up with the manufacturer, we could have avoided much of the difficulty. The office staff ranged from incompetent to downright surly, completely unwilling to help us restore our hot water during the coldest winter in several years.
Their complete lack of customer service and desire to help us in any way was astounding. Eventually I spoke to the owner of the company who refused any responsibility at all.
The manufacturer of the Air Tap enlisted the service of Jeff Leonard Plumbing who was at our house the same day to restore our hot water temporarily, then two days later to replace the Air Tap unit. Their service was incredible especially considering that they had nothing to do with the initial installation. 4H Plumbing was no help at all in our time of need, and we will never enlist their services again.

AC went out, and so I called ServiceOne. They were very responsive, and the technician knew what he was doing. Identified a leak in the compressor. The leak was easy to access. The rating reflects the ridiculous charge for the service. It was a $100 service charge, which isn't unreasonable. $270 for the 15 minutes it took to find the leak. $1000+ to reload the R410A refrigerant. I looked online and the prices on this refrigerant have jumped due to supply chain issues, but should be costing the company about $40-50 per pound. I called another company to see what they would charge me, and they said $89/pound. ServiceOne charged me $118/pound after a 15% member discount (since I used them for semi-annual maintenance). That means the nonmember price is around $135/pound, which is 50% more than the other company I called. Then, I paid another $1000+ for fixing the leak, which took about 1.5 hours to fix. The total bill was $2500 bill for fixing a leak on a 2-year old compressor. They made a great profit off of me. I don't know if it's worth losing the relationship.

they were sent from the dispatch company. The technician didn`t check anything and told us that he would report his findings to the home insurance company and come back after approval. He gave a WRONG diagnosis, and my claim was denied.
I had to pay another company out of my pocket and the problem was COMPLETED DIFFERENT from what he said.
Lack of knowledge, lack of professionalism.
