Great experience with Syd.  Replaced my main sewer line without tearing up my hardscape.  The other guys wanted to destroy my yard and my basement.  Would have been a single day job without DC traffic, but I was only without my sewer for about 1 hour!

Our sump pump died, and Rich came out on a Sunday afternoon to help us out.  Great personalized and professional service - would highly recommend this company and Rich!

We had a problem with an electrical issue and called 4 Service Pros.  Byron Ortiz came and spent 5 hours trying to find the problem.  He was very professional and helpful but in the end, couldn't resolve the problem so he scheduled a return visit to run a tracer on our electrical system.   After some thought, we cancelled the second visit, informed 4 Service Pros that we were getting a second opinion.   Mike Schick, the manager, called us and offered to come back out with Byron, for free, to find a solution.   They did and spent another 3 hours - finally solving the problem.   We were so impressed with their customer service and coming back out the second time without charge.   We would highly recommend this company and plan to use them for any future electrical problems.

I called Belle View on a Friday looking for leak detection in a bathroom tub. His team promised to come Monday afternoon, but we're able to come sooner. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in no time.  Thanks for your great work.

Upstairs shower was leaking down into the kitchen. He assessed it fairly quick and did the repairs! Quality work for sure!

I called Jerry to schedule an appt for faucet installation. He wanted to come over before I was ready! We made the appt for 9 the next morning and he was here at 8:45! Expert,professional and courteous service. Will definitely use him again.

They are excellent.  We had an unusual plumbing problem in our house. The first plumber who came could not find it because (of course) it was not happening when he came.  I called the office back while the problem was occurring.  They tried to troubleshoot it over the phone, but the usual solutions did not work, so the plumber came right out to the house and figured it out.  He was extremely nice, very helpful, and a good plumber!

After trying to unclog my kitchen sink for a few days I had to finally reach out to a professional. After getting several quotes via Yelp I chose Sam's Plumbing because their estimate was the only one not $350+. Cristain showed up within a few hours and unclogged my sink in about 15 mins. Even with a slight increase in the cost it was still WAY cheaper than the 4 other plumbers I reached out to on Yelp. I will definitely use them again. Everyone wore mask and cleaned up after they finished. Very professional and friendly.

Had a refrigerator leak which ruined my laminate flooring and had mold damage to the wall and cabinets. Tony and his team did fantastic work for the water mitigation and fixing the damage. Tony was very responsive and patient with my many questions and concerns. Will definitely be using this company for any (hopefully minor) future repairs!

Bottom Line Upfront: I can't recommend Alfonso and Alfonzo of Gridpoint Plumbing highly enough; reach out to them for any job big or small. They can handle it, will do excellent work, and will provide top notch customer service.

I took over management of a 150+ year old mixed use property in DC, which needed A LOT of plumbing work - the entire building's galvanized pipes needed replacement, many of the fixtures like faucets, sinks, and supply lines needed replacement, the toilets and shower needed repair, the HVAC's condenser pipe was broken clean off and draining down the side of the building, and the spigot in the rear of the building didn't work. As is the case with older buildings, no work is ever simple because there have been changes to standards, different people doing work, and there are always unforeseen issues. I should also mention that the building is occupied by two commercial tenants and one residential tenant and the work needed to be completed around their schedules/needs.

I was introduced to Alfonso and Alfonzo by my personal plumber who prefers not to work on multi-tenant properties. They are a father/son duo with decades of plumbing experience (and, really, general know-how of how buildings work). Not only did they do an excellent job taking care of all of the plumbing issues I listed above, they provided honest advice and very reasonable prices and bent over backwards to accommodate my tenants. Some examples of their superior customer service:

- One of the tenants refused to let Alfonso and Alfonzo work during the day, so they agreed to work at night for no additional charge

- Each night, they would stay late to ensure the water would be back on during the day for the tenants

- They worked strategically in certain areas at a time to minimize the disruption to the tenants, rather than just ripping everything open and doing whatever was convenient

- They noticed my tenants hadn't cleaned their air conditioners' filters and cleaned them for no charge and without me asking

- One of the tenants did sloppy electrical work without permission and knocked out power to half the building while Alfonso and Alfonzo were getting ready to work. They stopped what they were doing, diagnosed the issue, provided a temporary fix for free, and called several electricians to find one who could come out immediately and fix it (this is another benefit of hiring Gridpoint Plumbing - they have all kinds of connections with a variety of contractors).

Aside from all of this, Alfonso and Alfonzo are really great guys. You can really depend on them to get the job done right. They've earned my business for as long as they want it. Trust me on this: stop reaching out to dozens of plumbers; your search is over.

Greg from Quality Sewer and Drain does great work!  Helped us out in an emergency situation and we have continued to use them since. No regrets!  I highly recommend!

Jack was professional and saved me money by fixing my garbage disposal instead of installing a new one. I am very happy with this company and will use them again for my plumbing needs.

I hired a Chantilly company called Airbenders to replace the HVAC unit in my home before OHA purchased the company. The owner did not give me the lowest estimate, but he treated me kindly and respectfully when he came to my home. I like the unit; however, the technicians damaged my home. Then, they would not make the repairs or clean up after themselves. After OHA's quality control officer found out about the problem, she contacted me by phone and promised to make it right. Today, Cody came to my home and identified the issue with my unit. He was on point, polite, and willing to explain the details in a direct manner. He also brought a gentleman with him to repair the previous damage to my home, which he did. I was blown away by how serious the company was about making everything right. I started today hopeful and am ending it not just satisfied, but impressed.

Very prompt and courteous.  Did not waste time, and did a good job handling a multitude of repairs. Made recommendations on replacing versus repair, instead of charging for repairs that would not last. Took the time to explain everything without wasting time.  Even went out to pick-up a filter needed for ac since we had the wrong size. Highly recommend.

Magnolia charged an very-high price to replace an old kitchen faucet with a new one that I supplied.  The plumber took about an hour and a half to do the job, plus a screwing in a soap dispenser that came with the faucet and replacing the cold-water shut-off valve (which he supplied), and the bill was $767.

AVOID. Horrible experience. I was told to turn off my system - but not that doing so will cause coils to thaw and leak water. A few hours later and my basement carpet is soaked.

Then technician shows up at 10:00 pm for a 6-10pm service window. I pay promptly after the service was complete, but never got an invoice or receipt via email or otherwise.

I called to ask for a mere discount for future service to make up for the out-of-pocket cost for replacing my carpet pad. Nothing.

Disappointing. Will not use again.

Patrick, and his team- Steven, Alex and Pat Wolfe,  installed a tankless water heater , 3 toilets and a kitchen faucet and they were great!!  I will definitely call A Better Plumber for any future plumbing needs. After contacting three plumbers to receive estimates, I selected Gaithersburg Plumbing to replace my main water line from the street to my house. My yard was flooded, my water bill was astronomical, and I was stressed about destroying my yard and landscaping. I've never had an emergency home repair go so well. Gary and Zach were masterful, not only in their repair of the line, but also in their management of a very anxious homeowner. They dug only what was needed to do the job (by hand so they wouldn't destroy my lawn with heavy machinery), replaced the old copper line with PE Poly so we won't have a problem again, and cleaned up the job beautifully. In fact, you wouldn't even know they were there. Amazing service and worth every penny. BTW, Gaithersburg Plumbing was also the lowest bidder by 15-20 percent.

Kevin Jenkins came to my house to fix the kitchen sink - turns out one small $3 part had come unscrewed. It took him in total 35 mins (including going to get the part) and he charged me a ridiculous amount of $180 for the service. Refused to give an estimate or talk price until he presented me an invoice at the end. Charged a $45 travel fee to drive less than a mile. Completely unprofessional and I was extremely dissatisfied with the service. The only good part was that he was only about a half an hour late and came on a Saturday. DO NOT USE HIM.
