Aqua Plus performed excellent work for us, specifically Burchell who came to help us out. This included repairing a detached shower head, installing a bunch of isolation valves, fixing our main shut-off valve, and repairing our water heater. He was friendly and good at explaining what he was doing and the ins and outs of the work he performed (what parts did what, how he was going to install something, and why something was needed or not). One thing I really appreciated was that he did not try to upsell me on unnecessary things that I thought we had needed to fix.
We were so satisfied with Aqua Plus that we called them back 2 months later (the time of this review) for more work. Burchell helped us install a shower and also fixed our front hose spigot. If we need any sort of plumbing work in the future, I am definitely calling up Aqua Plus. Great communication, experience, and value. (Note: I've dealt with a fair share of plumbing companies in the DMV area and many of them are unprofessional, rude, or perform shoddy work. Not so with this company.)
Update they refused to complete job they started with Home Warranty company. It has now been reassigned to A1Repairs LLC

Jack the plumber recommended a remediation company who came in and demoed my kitchen floor and basement bathroom and family room. He said it needed to be done to find leak.
With them having to remove dishwasher to pull up floor they unhooked it. Now each company playing blame game and refusing to re install dishwasher as jack the plumber says two full cycles need to be ran to make sure there is no other issue. How can you run it if both refuse to reinstall.

So i had water in my basement bathroom, and called my home warranty company. They in turn sent out Aqua Plus Plumbing. The technician was Jack. He was very professional.
He entered my residence, wore a protective gator to cover has nose and mouth as I'm high risk. He proceeded to troubleshoot issue, and immediately realized how much water was in between floors and recommended a company to come out to open floor to find leak. He was prompt, showed up on time to repair issues after flooring and ceiling was removed.

This was the worse plumbing experience I have had as a homeowner. This company was to repair a cracked pipe. They were first contacted in early October to do an assessment. I tried on at least 6 or 7 times and was never able to reach a dispatcher or anyone else in the office. After they submitted their bid and Homeserv finally gave them the ok to do the job the technician said he would be here on the 27th. I had still never spoken to anyone in the office to confirm. On the 25th I texted the technician to make sure the date was still good and he texted me back the following morning to tell me that Homeserv had given the job to another company. Needless to say by now I was livid. This pipe was affecting one of my upstairs bathrooms and my first floor bathroom. When I called Homeserv back the informed me that Aqua Plus had rejected the job so not only did they keep me hanging for more than 2 weeks but they lied. No integrity whatsoever. Since moving into my home, the hot water in my shower has gone from extremely hot to warm. In fact, there are days when it is cold. All other sinks and showers produce extremely hot water. So, I called my home warranty company to have someone examine the situation, specifically the faucet to ensure the safety mechanism or valve wasn't ruined.
The technician entered my home at 11:58 AM and was gone within 10 minutes stating on his report that the safety and temperature value are working. When I called the technician, he repeated the same thing.
When I asked why the water gets cold on some days, his response was it was warm today when I turned it on. It might not be scalding but it was warm. Again, I asked so why does that shower water get cold and can't be used. His response, it was warm today. When I asked if he went to check the other shower or faucets for water temperature, his response, nobody asked me to. He even implied that on days when it wasn't as warm, 'I have another shower.'
So, not real attempt to resolve the problem or diagnose the situation. Apathy and ignorance must certainly be a core value of Aqua Plus Plumbing because your technician gets a 5 Star rating for his performance today.
Burchell replaced the cartridge in my shower and did such an excellent job. He figured out that parts of my shower was calcified preventing the cartridge from working properly. Thank you Burchell! I'll be sure to come back to you guys if I have any other plumbing issues.

Jack is the absolute best. If you're like me, you don't know much about plumbing but as I was describing my problem to Jack over the phone, he seemed to know the problem. I even already hired other plumbers to come in to try and snake my drain and they left with the issue unresolved. Jack started to ask very direct questions with how they were operating, equipment they used, etc. that gave me the level of confidence to hire him.
He came in at the stated time, didn't give me any lip service when I asked him to take his shoes off or wear shoe covers, toured the basement to get a feel for the pipe work, laid out a blanket, and got to work. He explained to me his process, going to/from the car to get appropriate equipment, explaining his equipment, why he was doing things. Within an hour, he was able to rectify the problem, teach me a few things, and he left my home in a cleaner condition than the previous plumbers.
Do not use this shady company. Especially through American Home Sheild. We paid extra charge ahead of time for them to come and take a look. However, no one ever showed up since we sent pictures of our water heater. I guess they are too good to come and check what is wrong.
Website shows 24-hour business but no one answers the phone, so that's not true. They said that they had sent the work order back to AHS, and 4 days later, we found out that nothing was done. Another lie. Absolutely terrible and no professionalism what-so-ever.
They came to look was 100/no problem then they said to fix it just to pull the toilet would be 750 I said not cost to much for nothing. They left and came back and try hustle me and I said no. I would not recommend this company
CUSTOMER SERVICE is superb! I reached out to 2 other plumbers that were closer to me and neither responded in a timely fashion. They both said they were 24 hours but apparently they aren't *rolls eyes* But Aqua Plumbing really is 24 hours! I had a leak in my kitchen and they helped me over the phone in getting my water turned off and told me what to do prior to them getting there. They called me back to check on our house until they came out the next day (which I told them would be fine because I was going to bed). Long story short, my sink is fixed and all is well. I would only use them for all of our plumber needs from here on out.

This Plumbing company was awesome. The time of arrival was great. The service was excellent and completed in a timely manner.
I especially want to thank Jack who was the plumber who performed all the work. Jack is the best and i recommend Jack.

So I actually haven't used Aqua Plus Plumbing - yet, but felt a need to write a post. I had an emergency situation this evening and unfortunately Aqua Plus was booked until 2 AM so couldn't help. HOWEVER, whoever answered their phone took the time and walked me through what I needed to do step by step. And I was able to temporarily fix the problem until the morning when a plumber could come out. It was a surprise and delight that this person wouldn't let me just hang up the phone but actually stayed on to walk me through it. I really appreciated it Aqua Plus Plumbing! That experience alone has made me a fan and would recommend giving them a call for all your plumbing needs!

On one of the coldest days of the year we had a pipe burst in the wall. While my husband pushed out the water I was tasked with my the arrangements for repair. I didn't know where to start but since YELP had never steered me wrong (yet), I decided to look up a few companies. And I am so glad I did. The gentleman from Aqua Plus Plumbing squeezed us in among existing appointments, so we were seen the same day. Mr Bruchell (I'm sure I'm misspelling that) arrived and was very pleasant. He assessed the problem, assured us that he could fix it and did an amazing job. It was great to end the day of disaster with an outstanding service call. I would definitely recommend Aqua Plus Plumbing. You won't be disappointed
Jack/John was super chatty and helped explain everything that was wrong and needed to be done in the situation. I'm not a plumber, obviously, so his taking the time to explain everything was really reassuring. He also gave advice for what we could do in the future, if we redid the pipes (which we will need to do) so I am more confident in knowing what I will need. Overall great experience. Very flexible on scheduling short notice, as long as it was M-F.
My mom was very pleased with the service provided by Aqua Plus Plumbing. Jack fixed the problem while explaining what had to be done. He finished very quickly without leaving a mess and was on his way within an hour. My mom would highly recommend this company to her family and friends.

Burchell has been to our home multiple times for various issues over the last year. He is always quick to come, efficient and explains in layman's terms what the problem is. This past weekend, we had another plumbing emergency and Burchell came by on a Sunday afternoon to help us out yet again. We are so thankful to have a trusted plumber on our side. Can't recommend him highly enough!

What a great experience! Burchell was extremely professional, efficient and got the job done! I would highly recommend Aqua plumbing if you want a professional job done in a timely manner! Will be using them in the future.
I called Aqua Plus Plumbing at 6PM on a weeknight and Burchell came out after the job he was currently on he was very professional, prompt, knowledgeable and fixed my clogged outside drain, flushed the line and cleared the attached sump pump within 30 minutes. I have found my plumber and will be referring!! Excellent service and honest fair pricing. No one else would come same day. They have hours 24/7. Quite impressive!!

I had a leak in my basement that stemmed from a bad valve. I called Aqua Plus due to the reviews on yelp.The dispatcher was very polite and had someone come over the same day. When Burchell arrive, he was very knowledgeable and fixed the issue in minutes. He was thorough in his explanation of the issue, what he did to fix, and even recommend the best approach to getting the water out of my carpet. I'm so glad we called Aqua Plus Plumbing to help us tonight. We were trying to replace our toilet & sink and had lots of difficulty and needed a professional plumber. Burchell came out on a Saturday night and did a phenomenal job. He was great to work with, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. We highly recommend this company and we will definitely be calling them in the future!
After reading all the good reviews about this company, I requested service to fix a problem with my outdoor spigot that continuously leaks. Burchell called me and scheduled a time with me to come out a couple days later. Rain was in the forecast on the scheduled day, later in the day, but it started early so I knew nothing would be done. Aqua Plus never called to reschedule so I called Burchell to reschedule but got his voicemail and left a message and then called the Aqua Plus main number to reschedule. I was told Burchell would call me and schedule an appointment. I guess my repair was not significant enough for them to bother because I never heard a word from Burchell. I'm very disappointed and will go on to the next plumber.
My partner and I had gotten 'burned' by a plumber several months ago, only to have one of the issues come up again because he didn't do the job correctly to begin with. After some research we opted to try out Aqua Plus Plumbing and we have found a long-term plumber! Burchell was pleasant from the moment of contact, being flexible in his scheduling and upon his arrival, he talked my partner through each step he was taking, offered advice, was fairly priced and was just extremely personable! He was a joy to have in our home and we highly recommend Aqua Plus and Burchell!

I can only give only ONE STAR, for only coming out to my home. I can only say that the technician must have x-ray vision to see through a wall, to determine the matter of how my water leak came about. The tech based his no work order not on his physical observation, but only his personal views, or maybe the work was to much and the company payout from American Shield to the company was TO LITTLE.
This may be the best plumbing service I have ever used! I made an appointment last week, they told me they will be here by 10 o'clock today, 30 minutes later Jack had finished what was needed and taught me how to prevent it in the future. Definitely worth the call.
Excellent service! We had a water heater problem and contacted Aqua Plus Plumbing--what great service we received. They are a new business, only in business for the last three years. With their service expertise and customer focus, they will really do well as a business. Burchell was our Technician and he was extremely knowledgeable, personable and gave us many tips to avoid future problems with the water heater. We called Aqua Plus Plumbing a few days ago to install a bathroom sink and Burchell was very meticulous with the bathroom sink install. Burchell set expectations before the install so that we knew what to expect. Most of all, the price was reasonable. Burchell was very professional and courteous and we would recommend Aqua Plus Plumbing to anyone who has plumbing needs.

I had a serious leak from my kitchen sink and the toilet in my basement was giving me problems. I tried calling several plumbers and no one would call me back! I called Burch and he came the same day on a Friday night at 6:30 p.m. He was honest about what the problems were and he fixed them both within an hour. He even asked me where there any other little things that needed fixing around my house. This company is a one-stop-shop! I will definitely be using them in the spring to install my irrigation system. I am so happy that I discovered this company and will be using them again in the future for everything!

Be very careful hiring this guy. He was to replace a water meter in a house I own as a rental property. He called the tenant, made an appointment to review the job, contacted the water company, all was going well. When it came time to do the work, he simply walked off the job. He did not communicate that he wasn't going to complete the work, didn't call the tenant, he simply disappeared.
I've continued to call Mr. Bennett when I have a plumbing issue and I'm still thrilled.

Filed a claim with American Home Shield and my job was assigned to Aqua Plumbing. An appointment was made and I haven't heard from them since. The job was marked completed on American Home Shield's portal. I called Aqua to inquire about the status of the job and was informed that a technician came to my house and there was no answer--as my husband was in the home awaiting their arrival, I have no idea why he didn't hear the door (perhaps he was in the bathroom, I don't know). Nonetheless, I asked Lucy, an employee at Aqua was the company's protocol for this type of situation--do they call the number on file, wait 5 minutes and try again...what. Instead of answering any of my questions, she very rudely repeatedly stated, ...the technician was at your home, providing no additional information. She then hung up after I asked her if the company's protocol is to mark jobs complete for services that they did not actually provide. I would not recommend this company or their services to anyone, as their customer service and business practices are sub par.

We were very happy with our choice of going with Aqua Plus Plumbing! Burchell called us first thing in the morning to schedule an appointment, gave us a fair estimate, was timely, professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable and most importantly, fixed our leaky shower! As an added bonus, he talked my husband through every step so that if it breaks again we can fix it ourselves. Were prompt and courteous. The plumber was fully equipped and ready to replace my trash disposal unit. But it turns out it just needed to reset the breaker. He showed me exactly what I needed to do the next time a similar issue occurred and told what to do next if resetting the unit internally didn't work. Gave me a wrench too. Granted this was provided with the standard home warranty insurance fee which I unfortunately could not avoid for such a simple solution. Great service nonetheless.
FINALLY, a plumber that doesn't suck! It was even a home warranty call (on which they make less money) and we were still treated like we were their best client. They sent a guy named, Jack, who couldn't have been more polite and respectful. SUCH a breath of fresh air. Their magnet is DEFINITELY going on our fridge!
Aqua is a part of my home warranty program. Jack arrived early and completed the repair with ease and professionalism. He then explained what he did along with suggestions for proper care moving forward. Aqua is fortunate to have Jack! I will use them for any plumbing needs that I may encounter. Certainly recommend them to family, friends, and colleagues!

What can I say, I have to echo what others have stated. Aqua plus is amazing. Jack has been outstanding. The level of customer service excellence, was unmatched. I rent properties in DC and have ran through a bunch of plumbing contractors. Aqua plus lands on top. The responsiveness, professionalism and work completed have been amazing. Not to mention Jack was able to service us on today - the holiday! I cannot say none bad thing about this company nor Jack! Is recommend him and will use him/them for my future plumbing needs. A rare gem!

Had a broken garbage disposal and a leaky pipe. Jack could not have been faster, more professional, or more friendly. Even though he'd been on calls since 1am, Jack was courteous, kind and thorough. While the dispatcher had told me he'd be there between 7am-8am and he was not able to arrive until 8:40am, I'm glad to have had Jack's help. I'd definitely call him again!
I had a monster blockage in my upstairs bathroom drain and called my home warranty company for assistance. They connected me with Aqua Plus Plumbing, who called within the hour to schedule my appointment for the very next day. Jack was the person assigned to me and he was amazing. Even before he arrived, he called to keep me abreast of his schedule that day, and even asked if I was interested in having him arrive earlier than planned (because he was able to finish his other jobs earlier than expected), which worked out perfectly for my schedule. When he arrived, he was courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. After trying a few options, he was finally able to clear the blockage and kept me informed throughout the entire process. I also appreciated the fact that, after he cleared the drain, he still did a few more things to ensure that the drain was indeed cleared (and not just temporarily fixed for the moment). Again, Aqua Plumbing was great, Jack did an outstanding job, and I would definitely use them again.
