The owner is Tom M who was inspired to go to plumbing school because he loves to work with his hands. He first started off as a Nurse who quickly learned that he did not like being confined to working at one place all day. He changed his career, went to plumbing school and opened his own business.

I purchased a garbage disposal installation through Lowe's and was randomly assigned with Murphy's Plumbing Service. Terry was professional and knowledgeable - he also cleared through the installation in no time. As he was working through the job, Terry also identified a piping problem and offered great rates to re-pipe. I was initially hesitant/anxious about getting a randomly assigned plumber, but ended up very happy with Terry's services. I will be going back to them for future plumbing issues!

Five stars for Murphy's Plumbing Service! Communication was great. Estimate and final price were reasonable and fair. Arrived on time. Performed the work quickly and professionally. I had an initial appointment and found Tom examined the multiple issues I had thoughtfully and provided estimates with cost in mind. Some of the simple fixes, he did on the spot and the other issues are going to be addressed with next appointment! I would highly recommend.

It was pouring rain outside and even so Tom was deep in the mud fixing a broken well line for me. His rates are absolutely fair (one guy I called wanted $800. Tom charged $200 for the same thing - and he said I don't know how those $800 guys sleep at night) For great service, great work, at a great price absolutely recommend Tom Murphy.

I was hesitant using the referral of yelp but Murphy's plumbing service is one the best . Honest and knowledgeable. He worked Hursley to figure out my issues with all my running toilets I will definitely seek out him again.

These guys are fantastic. They were able to come out quickly. Offered a free and reasonable estimate for installing a whole house filtration system. Explained the cost and everything involved with the installation and operation of the system. Completed the work quickly and were honest and fair. Really cant ask for more and we'll definitely keep them in mind for anything we need in the future. Thanks!
We hired Tom from Murphy's Plumbing during the sale of our home. He helped us comple a few small projects before closing. We are beyond thankful! Tom's communication is prompt, his prices are fair, and he's work is great. We hope we won't have to call a plumber again anytime soon, but if we do we would be sure to call Tom again.
