Had a slow water draining issue with the kitchen sink so after self sleuthing for some time, decided to call Tony & Son to have professionals take a look.  Fernando picked up the phone and was very courteous and friendly in asking about my issue and setting up time.  There was a slight miscommunication error on my part so they had to show up a day later but they were very prompt in arrival.

Fernando and his partner checked the cleanout valve and asked me whether I wanted to snake it or hydro jet it (hydro being twice as expensive).  Based on his experience and recommendation, I went with regular old snake, which the process took about 15 minutes to setup and poke through.  Fernando showed me the grease that had accumulated in the pipes and tested the sink drain to make sure there wasn't any obstruction.  

The job came with a 30 day warranty which I thought was a nice touch, in case the problem is deeper than a regular old grease build up.  Based on my interaction with Fernando, who seemed very honest and genuine in his approach to plumbing and the technical know-how, I'd definitely hire them again for any future plumbing issues in the house.

It all started when my wife and I decided to remodel our kitchen, only to find out our kitchen sink water pipes were ruined! I came on yelp to see if anyone would be able to help and Alan responded to my message right away. They had a member of their team come out and look at the damage same day! Shortly after I received a quote and I was so relieved it wasn't going to cost me and arm and a leg. Other plumbing companies wanted to charge 2x's that amount. Alan came out the next weekend and fixed the whole thing in less than 4 hours.

Thomas was wonderful and so quick to respond when our kitchen sink was backed up late Saturday afternoon -- just two days before we had to move! He resolved the issue in less than 30 minutes, was professional in his conduct, and was COVID-ready and wore a mask the whole time. Would recommend highly to anyone in the LA/Beach Cities area. Jim is an amazing plumber! His prices are very reasonable, is punctual, leaves the work areas very clean and above all he is very honest! He has worked on 2 projects for me and I will definitely hire him back whenever I have need a plumbing project completed.

Tweedy obviously doesn't know what they are doing since they can't even find the problem or maybe miraculously AND conveniently can't find it.

Tweedy UNPlumbing & Restoration is awful and you can't trust them. Like mentioned before, they get you in and then they drop the ball. Thankfully I can afford their conniving and disgusting ways to take care of my plumbing issue twice. A plumbing issue that became bigger than it was as soon as I involved Tweedy in Costa Mesa.

Please do not try to contact me. You had plenty of chances and treated me like I was annoying you. A response talking about yourself speaks how tweedy is only in it for itself. Yelp is a place to voice opinions and alert others of bad business like yours, Tweedy.

Needed our drains and sinks snaked as part of our annual maintenance on our house and also need a faucet fixed outside. Kenneth responded quickly and answered all of our questions. He was a pleasure to deal with and his prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be doing business with him again and I have already referred to him to all of my family and friends.

Needed a compressor leak check, they came in, inspected it. Found the leaks. Had them come back in the next week to replace the tank with brass caps. Fixed the unit, quick and effectively. They also checked for leaks in our nitrogen piping as a bonus!

Mike and Oscar were a pleasure to work with. Very respectful, great people to talk to. Overall amazing service!

A true honest review. We sent out search for a few items to be installed (toilets, faucets, etc.) Amazing Rooter replied with prices and were no gimmick or hassle. Straight shooters. You don't need to be sold or priced gouged. This is a exactly why I choose Amazing Rooter.

I can't believe I'm the first person to review JR and Norm's Plumbing. These guys have been such a lifesaver for me over the years - they've installed my water heater, done the plumbing for my bathroom remodel, and generally been quick to respond when any other issue involving water comes up.

I had to call JR at Norms this morning after we noticed funky odors for a couple of days, we checked under the house this morning and sure enough there was a pool of water in the crawl space from a leaking drain pipe. Upon further inspection, the backup had pushed its way up an old drain in the bathroom that had never been capped, so now I also have a soaked closet and mildew farm. Oh joy. Oh rapture.

JR is just the best, he's great to work with and reasonably priced. I've never had to bring in another contractor to fix something he or his guys screwed up (which I cannot say about other plumbers I've hired.)  I have a rule now that nobody but JR touches my pipes.

If you are in the Long Beach, Cerritos, Lakewood, Bellflower, Paramount area you will not go wrong with Norms. (Picture is of JR outside my house, he'll be back tomorrow replacing the drain from the kitchen all the way out....)

I never write reviews on Yelp, however, I feel the service I received today deserves a write-up. The valves on my tankless water heater needed to be replaced. I scheduled an appointment with John for Monday between 10 am-12 noon.  He and Jimmy arrived before 10 am. They replaced the broken valves and they even schooled me on how the tankless heater operates and how to maintain them.  They were very professional and courteous. It's hard to find awesome customer service and trusting vendors. I will definitely call them again in the future and tell others about them. Thank you very much, John and Jimmy. - Gladys

Fredd was awesome! He came out and fixed a slab leak that was causing major issues in an emergency situation. He was the only plumber we called that was able to come out right away and he took care of it quickly. He showed me the problem and told me how he was going to fix it and did the job. Seeing him work I can tell that it's a lot of hard work and it requires a lot of expertise and Fredd displayed both at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Fredd's Handyman Services.

They came to my house and checked my water heater venting and told me nothing to worry! So quick and so honest! I quoted someone else, they just saw the photo I took and charge me couple hundred dollars!  At least, five star for their honest!

I first utilized A1 when I purchased our home 10 years ago and the water heater needed replacement when I was just moving in.  My realtor had referred me stating they were extremely good and neat.  Since then I have called on them for everything from a faucet replacement to a clogged sink and a broken gas line. I have been consistently satisfied but today - they were as amazing as it gets.

My husband and I noticed some water dripping from the window in our lower level bathroom.  Upon further research we noticed that the entire support beam above our garage was dripping and there was water damage to the stucco.  Of course we noticed this late on a Friday so I wasn't able to call until Monday morning.  I called first thing and not only were they able to get out by 8:30 Monday morning and completely replace the water main which was spraying water everywhere inside the beam, but they were also able to extend the gas line from my furnace to my kitchen so I can finally purchase a gas stove!

I cannot say enough about how good these guys are - neat, experienced, hard working and straight forward.  As we have pretty much gutted and re-built our home we are extremely experienced with both quality and non- quality workmanship.  AC Plumbing as they are now named is great.  I concur with others - Armando is awesome.

My water heater started leaking, saw these guys were highly rated in my area. With a tank that was at minimum twenty years old I figure it be best to replace it. They gave me a $900-1000 modern tank with a bill total of $1500, the lowest out of three quotes I got. Two hours after getting to my home they took away the old one and were wrapped up.

It's been a while since I got it and I have no leaks and hot water at the ready since. Well done!
