I called on Wednesday and Val called right back and we arranged for him to come Thursday at 9:00am. He came right on time and did the repair of my faulty GFE for $95. I had another small problem and he did that for free. I would definitely use Coastal Electric again. Good prices, efficient and friendly.

Rick is fantastic.  We've had him do a number of jobs from removing an old electric wall heater to installing ceiling and bathroom fans.  

We couldn't be happier with the work he's performed on our house.  He and his crew worked quickly and efficiently.  We won't hesitate to call him for our next electrical project.

These guys did a great job working on my house to install two outlets and convert a can light into an overhead fixture. They were kind and responsive, both when setting up the visit and conducting the work. I appreciated their attention to detail, finding and fixing some minor code violations along the way. They also communicate well over text message, which is very helpful since I have trouble accepting calls during work hours. I have a new go-to electrician for a number of other upcoming projects!

We hired HD electric to install an electric charger for my parents new electric Audi.

They replied quickly, came to do a site inspection and installed the charger the following day.

When my parents noticed that the plug had been installed the wrong way, they came back out the same day to fix it.

I would like to note that almost everyone else I messaged for a quote was requesting a picture of the electrical panel and wanted to know the distance from panel to charger. This was hard to obtain from my immigrant elderly parents - and so I was very thankful that HD electric came out to do a site visit to gather all this information themselves.

What a waste. Called to inquire about a job for my home. The representative (Terrell?) I spoke to over the phone was so disinterested in what I needed done. It was insulting. When he said, We're fully booked for a while without any further details is completely off putting. Basically, they don't want the job. I don't recommend their services. If they have this type of attitude during a consultation call, can you imagine the attitude when they're on-site doing the job. Yeah, no thanks! Bye.

I was in a jam when all my kitchen lights went out suddenly on a saturday afternoon.  I needed to get it fixed quick as i have 2 little munchkins and a working kitchen is critical to ensure things are operating smoothly in the house. Curt quickly came over.  He was attentive, very professional, an expert, and got things fixed asap.  Moreover, he is very personable and pleasant to be around. Rates were reasonable and he was honest.  I didn't feel like he was trying to get the best of me.  Best part - he's a Denver Broncos fan!  I should have known, given the great experience i had working with him.  He's definitely my Peyton Manning of electrical!  ;-)

I just recently moved into an apartment that I am subletting from a friend of mine. He told me that the outlets in one of the bathrooms didn't work and he had never bothered to call an electrician to get them fixed but that I could and send him the bill for it. I checked the circuit breaker to see if any circuits were tripped, but seemed like nothing had. I called Voltech after reading the great reviews on Yelp and made an appointment for the next day.

Aram called prior to when my appointment window was scheduled just to let me know that he would be there within 30 to 40 min, which was very helpful. When he arrived he was very friendly and professional. He checked the outlets and then the circuit breaker. It turns out that for bathroom outlets there is a special G.F.I. switch in the circuit box that when tripped stays in the on position, and then you have to press the test button to show if it is on or off. Anyway, Aram just flipped it back on, and that was the only issue. I felt a little silly that the problem was so simple, but Aram was great and he didn't even charge me for coming out!

Wayne's a second generation electrician; he knows exactly what it takes to do a job. His figure is fair, and comes from deep knowledge. Then comes reliability - when Wayne sets the time, he's committed. You don't have to wonder about scheduling. He handles the inevitable surprises and challenges with grace and good humor. There's always a feeling that your favorite cousin is doing the job, not some stranger out to hustle. The work is elegant -- he ran a line halfway around my house, and I could barely see it. Wayne cares about how it looks and feels, not just how it works. He goes the extra mile -- he could have just left me plugs attached to that line but he crawled into my new washing shed and cut a hole for a vent, then gave me precise specs on what I needed to complete that function and stuck around to make sure it was done right. That's the extra mile, friends. If you ever need electrical work, think of that extra hole -- for which he charged me nothing. Lots of folks talk about full service. There's something else, a bit squishier but way more valuable, and it's the way Wayne walks this world -- it's called Full Measure.

I needed a new closet rod replaced and Nick did an amazing job! He was so professional & kind and completed it in a timely manner. There price was reasonable and response time quick. I will definitely use these guys again & highly recommend them.

These guys are great. They just installed a 50 amp outlet in my garage for an electric car. It wasn't an easy job to get the conduit to that particular location due to the design of my house, but they were professional, friendly and smart, and wound up doing beautiful work. Would hire them again in a second.
