Best Electricians in California

Val came out to evaluate my garage for an EV charger installation project. Although I didn't get to get it done because my condo's electricity system is not strong enough, Val explained the problem and the entire process so kindly and patiently. I would definitely reach out to this company if I need their help in the future.

As someone who is extremely cynical and has had a lot of bad experiences with service providers in the past, I have to say that working with Rick has been a revelation. Not only is he incredibly good at solving electrical problems that others have scratched their heads over, he is also a guy who is not looking to sell you the most expensive option when a simple repair, or a replacement of parts and not the whole item will do. He is an honest man and a fair man. A rare commodity.

His work is high quality and he and his team are efficient with their time; their time and YOUR time. No one hopes to have electrical problems, but  if that should be the case for me going forward, Rick is always going to be my first call. Thank you Rick!

I am happy to provide a 5 star review for East West Electric. Vartan was prompt and professional, clearly informing me over the phone how much the service would cost, working with my schedule to set an appointment time, arriving well within that timeframe, and competently and quickly completing the repair. He and his partner diagnosed the problem, explained the issue, and were able to correct what I thought was an unrelated issue at the same time. I highly recommend and would definitely call on again.

These guys were great. Owner was super responsive. They came first thing the next morning and diagnosed the issue right away. Super fair on pricing also. Would absolutely call them again.

William came over same day and replaced our outlet quickly and for a decent price.  I would use HD Electric in the future.

I came across Electric Brothers and went with them due to their reviews and I am super glad i did. Pricing was great and their work was stellar. The entire process from quoting to the finished products were amazing. I would recommended them and I plan on using them again in the future.

Longer review

So I was having internet issues at the home and the cable tech checked the line and saw that it was burned from the inside and that this is usually due to electrical issues. It was finally time for me to get some work done that my dad had been postponing for years.

After looking around I came across Electric Brothers, a small and local business, so I went with them. I am super glad that I did. When I called them up, Edgar came to the house and reviewed our old and aging panel. At the start I knew that this was going to be the major thing so that was expected. I also wanted to do a few things to improve the house and that have been annoying us since we've lived here. We got a decent estimate for the the new panel, adding lighting to the living room, fixing the lights in the garage, changing 4 outlets from being controlled by a switch and to be hot, and changing those outlets to control some new ceiling fans that would be installed.

There were some delays at first but not at the fault of Electric Brothers. Some delays getting an inspector in and then also the inspector saying that we needed to move the AC condenser. Electric Brothers saved me a major  headache of having to look around for someone and they got me in touch with an HVAC guy that they work with. James at JG Heating and Air got back to me quick and we sorted out the move. They let me know of the possible problems that could come up from moving this AC system and price was good. Before I was able to talk to James I had a different company come in and they did not tell me any of the potential problems so I was more confident in going with the person that Electric Brothers recommended. His team also helped me remove some shrubbery and since JG and Electric Brothers are in contact with each other they were able to coordinate a lot better with one another so that the main electrical project could begin the following morning.  

The team for the electrical project were great. Eric and his team worked well together and made sure to keep things as clean as possible and cleaned up after each part of the job was done. Panel took two days to install, one for grounding and another to install the panel. They did great work and pointed out some non-electrical issues that we should check out. After the panel was installed it was another 2 days to take care of the quality of life requests inside the house. They again made sure to keep things clean. The real only thing that was different when they were done was the new ceiling fans and new lights and everything else seemed as if it was left untouched. They even helped me unplug an old wall oven that had not been working and helped me move it to the street.  

The final results on the inside projects were amazing and made me wonder why we didn't do this sooner. The living room is were the most drastic change could be seen. The new lighting  really opened it up and it just feels so much bigger now. The ceiling fans will definitely make things a lot more bearable during the hot days until I can get with JG on helping with insulation and a new central system.  

I would definitely recommend Electric Brothers to anyone. They did an amazing job. Nothing felt rushed and communication was great with everyone. Even my dad who was hesitant on getting anyone in was super impressed by their work. After they were done, my parents were thankful that I went with them. After they were done I was already thinking of other projects that we could have them do in the future. Check these guys out and support a good small business.

When it comes to electrical, you want someone thoughtful, thorough and reliable, and someone who stands by their work. Curt at CW Electric are all of these things and more. He did everything that he said he would, exactly when he said he would and even a bit under-budget. His communication was great throughout the process and he was respectful and accommodating of our needs. Curt is an amazing electrician who does very clean work and he is also a really nice guy in addition to it all. Can't recommend him enough.

These guys are great.  Usually it is hard to find electricians to see the job through and A first has given a great service and have been honest all the way.  They came back on time to fix some issues we were having.  They do great clean work.  Will definitely use again.  Highly recommend!

Jeff and Carlos were great to work with. They installed a new outlet in my garage for a garage door opener and replaced my old lights with new LED lights. In addition, they fixed my doorbell which was getting no power and then hardwired in my Ring doorbell. Both Jeff and Carlos were extremely nice, professional, and did great work. They cleaned up after everything was completed and worked very quickly yet efficiently. I will be working with them on more projects around my home. I highly recommend them!

So happy I found Erik here on Yelp. He responded to my text quickly with a quote, showed up on time, repaired my drywall and door. I even asked him to take a look at my bed frame and he fixed that on the spot! He's very friendly, trustworthy, and professional. I will use him again in the future and refer him to my friends. If you're looking for good, profesional, clean, reliable electrical work this is the guys to call.  Mark and his crew are very profess, answer any questions you have, and don't break the bank.
I had a couple outlets that seemed to have a short or at least about to. Every time I plug my George Forman grill it'll spark and would only work if it was half way plugged out. So I got on my handy dandy phone to look for an electrician before I hurt myself doing what I have no idea what to do. Mark gave me a quote, sent his crew, then wham-bam there I was grilling chicken breasts without the fear of burning down my house.  Although I hope I don't have any electrical problems again, I will definitely be referring them to anyone who does.

I can't speak to the quality of an Voltech actual repair, but I just spoke to a Voltech representative by telephone about my dead fluorescent lights, which I attribute to the ballast.  Rather than the typical hard sell to let his company repair my lighting, he suggested replacing the fixtures, which I can do myself (or which he offered to do if I cannot).  This type of honesty is rare and very much appreciated.  I will definitely look to Voltech the next time I need electrical work.

Had my panel upgraded. Team was very professional, price was reasonable. I will use them again in the future.

Gil and Fernando are amazing and I would highly recommend them! Very professional and delivered great work. Even though they're based in Santa Monica, they made time to make it over to Westwood to perform a much needed electrical repair to one of my outlets. Gil even took time to help me remotely troubleshoot the issue initially. Fernando arrived and was fast in determining and fixing the issue. I have a more electrical work that I would like them to work on and they're definitely my go to for electrical services moving forward. Highly recommend.

Made an appointment to get a quote for the work I needed, but got stood up. Did get a call later apologizing and offering to reschedule, but had given the job to someone else by then.

Zilvinas was all around awesome. Very prompt to reply..which already makes him better than a lot of his competitors.

We hired him to install an exhaust fan in our bathroom that I was having a hard time getting in myself, and to replace an old light fixture we no longer wanted. He provided a fair quote, and was able to fit us into his schedule quickly..which was a huge plus.

He arrived on time (early even), was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He did a great job...especially considering the wiring in our house is goofy and he had to reroute the power for the fan. He completed the work in a very efficient manner, both jobs taking just about an hour. We will definitely be calling him back if we have any further projects we need help with. I'd give him 10 stars if I could. Seriously...the best experience we've ever had with a handyman.
