Best Electricians in California

Val responded to my inquiry for an electrician through Yelp, and he showed up promptly on a Saturday morning to remove an old bathroom exhaust fan with heater and replace it with a new model. The work was professionally done, and his price for the work was very reasonable as well!

Rick came out and made recommendations for our front porch lights, checked the wiring and explained how to use our intercom...and decided NO CHARGE.  His advice made sense and we will definitely use him for our future electrician needs. We live in Altadena.

They did a great job converting my 120 volts to 220 volts for my new washer and dryer.  Vartan and his partner did a wonderful job. They both wore masks and shoe covers and were very professional and quick. I would recommend them for any electrical work needed!

I had him come over the next day to help me. He was one of the coolest guys...and he educated me on what would work best in my place vs. what I thought would work.

He saved me money, headaches and potential liabilities. If you want an electrician who isn't going to rip you off, who you can actually talk to, and who is someone you can trust.....THIS IS YOUR GUY.

Manuel came out and gave me a reasonable quote to fix a 220v line that a previous electrician installed incorrectly. I hired him and he came over in the morning with another worker to get the job done. He also fixed a power cable to an outdoor light fixture that had been out for quite a while. They did a great job I will hire them again for my next project.

We bought a 1950's house that still had 1950's electrical everything: 2-prong outlets, ancient switches, no ground wires or ground fault protection, etc.  We had him change out all of the switches and plugs, change most of the light fixtures, add an exterior floodlight, and add GFI protection throughout the house.  He showed up on time, was very friendly to talk to, gave a very reasonable estimate and stayed within budget, and made the house very much more livable.  His attention to detail showed that he takes pride in his work; as a small example every single screw on every single switchplate is oriented with the slot vertical.  Maybe every electrician does that, but I was impressed that his personal working standards extended even to that tiny detail.  He also gave a very competitive estimate for changing out the service panel should we decide to do so.  I would highly recommend him and in fact provided his name and number to one of my good friends just this morning.

Eric assembled 3 pieces of office furniture for me in 2 hours. WOW!  He was very neat while working and courteous.  Great to see people take pride in their work.  Great experience and will use his service again.  I recommend him.

Very professional and accommodating. Helped me replace and secure some outlets and did a safety check on my fuse box. They took the time to explain the repairs and options available.  Answered all my questions about safety and costs. Will definitely work with this company for future repairs.

It seemed like I blew a fuse in my apartment, but when I checked the fuse box they were all okay so I thought I must have burned out a circuit somewhere inside the walls.  That would be an expensive fix.  I called Voltech after reading the Yelp reviews.  Aram came out the next morning to take a look.

He showed up and took a look at the fuse box and then the breaker box on the other side of the building.  It turned out that I just tripped a main circuit breaker in the breaker box.  Visually it appeared that the breaker had not been tripped so I had never actually tried to turn it off and then back on.  I felt like a moron.

Aram told me I didn't owe him anything for the call.  I have been a Yelp member for a six years and he just earned himself my first five-star Yelp review.

Chris & Mark put sconces up for me, an outside outlet for my yard lights (& Xmas lights) I couldn't of made a better choice. Love the way they turned out. Very helpful, on time, & their work was professional. Definitely recommend and use them again.

Great experience.  I called and got a quote right away and the job was done the very next morning!  Very pleasant to deal with and the finished job, an exterior outlet looks great.

I have looked all around for someone eager and willing enough to change out the bulbs in our cathedral ceilings.  Because some had actual fixtures that needed to be screwed off in order to replace the bulb, the job called for a very very tall ladder.  Apparently, this is difficult to find among electricians in Burbank.

But not for Wayne at Burbank Electric.  After finding him on Yelp, I called him up and we briefly discussed the situation.  He said he would be able to do it .... and he totally did and knocked it right out of the park!  He had a ladder in his truck tall enough to change out all of the bulbs in the place.... very knowledgeable about his work, you can tell.  Rates were much cheaper than expected, and he earned it just for being so willing to check out the situation (rather than refuse to even see it).  He came back with extra bulbs and the job was finished in under an hour.  Woo hoo!

Wayne: punctual, honest, hard-working, energetic, down to earth, just a good guy.  Definitely would recommend to anyone!

My door lock was not locking properly and I got the help and service I needed. They even came back when I saw a few things still had to get done. Responsive and reliable! Effective  and fast work.

Very unprofessional. Paid $500 for a hand drawn diagram of the wiring for ev charging. If I knew it was going to be that quality I would have drawn it myself while they were speaking to me, or asked a 10 yr old to draw it. We told them it would take us time to schedule the work, they kept sending emails asking us for an update. But conveniently stopped responding to emails and request for refunds once they realized that our HOA only wants ladwp to do to the work and we weren't going ahead with them. Lady on the phone realizes that this situation may warrant a refund, tells me that they may be able to offer a partial refund, but emails that her boss vetoed her decision because he gave us A diagram. So you call her for each thing you need, she needs to talk to the manager/owner and emails the response. But never follows up to my responses. I need to call again, sometimes twice because they forget/ignore. Never been treated this way by any business before. Very disappointing.
