Tom is my go to electrician and been using his services for a couple years now! I was very happy to see he was on Yelp so I can share the great customer service he's shown me over the years of working with him. 2023 our family decided to go fully electric getting solar installed and finally getting a new Tesla model X two weeks ago. Tom is a highly skilled professional that I trust when it comes to these kind of things and we used him this time to install a Tesla charger in our garage. Thank you Tom for always finishing on schedule and showing up on time! U r the best

Stay away. They advertise to lowest prices with a full estimate give--did not happen. I got the boss, Billy who came to fix what seemed like a bad GFI which prevented my outdoor lighting from working. As he arrived, Billy spent most of his time on the phone speaking to others on my time. He then left during the service call saying he would be back after a quick service call at another home. One hour and forty minutes later he returned, also on the phone and said after constantly checking the same plug telling me it was dead, DAH! I mentioned that he should check the breakers but he said that would not be the problem as it must have been from some old junction box . He finally checked the breakers and to his surprise, there was a bad one. All this time the was I never given an estimate.He replaced the breaker and lo and behold, the power was back.He then told me my connection was done illegally, which after handing me a large bill, he went back to discover that it had been done properly. The bill included a charge of $79.00 for the breaker. Out of curiosity, I took the old breaker to to local do-it center and for that the retail price for the same item is only $13.99. I would not use Conejo Valley Electric

Peter showed up exactly on time. He was kind, and immediately got to work, all with me hovering and asking questions. He not only taught me everything he was doing, why he was doing this or that, but he took the time to teach me what to do and what to look for when doing household wiring myself. He swapped out a 220v dryer receptacle and fixed a two-way switch in my hallway, and also diagnosed and taught me how an existing switch receptacle was wired so that I could tackle it on my own. He showed me how his tools worked and told me where I could buy them. It truly was a college level, 1 hour course on household electrical... all in my house! He even let me know to text him pictures with questions and he'd be happy to help. Great guy who knows exactly what he's doing. Knowledgeable, friendly, responsive, and punctual. I will 100% be calling him in the future.

Had some issues with breakers on my electrical panel needing to be replaced on a Sunday. Nothing major so scheduled Walteria to come out on Monday. They arrived early and fixed the issue quickly and efficiently. Their rate was super reasonable.

Chris is a really great guy first and for most which was very important when letting somebody into your home.  Very easy to talk to and very professional work ethic.  He did a complete rewire of our home and upgraded our panel...ALOT OF WORK!  He did the job very well and was honest every step of the way.  We highly recommend his work and will use him for many years to come.

We needed an outlet replaced in a hurry. I called several companies with excellent reputations on Yelp, but all were unable to help us within a week.

I called Mike and was surprised when he answered the phone. He was working on another project, but said he could be here in a couple of hours. True to his word, a couple of hours later he stopped by and replaced the outlet very quickly.

He is extremely friendly, professional, and reasonable. I definitely recommend his services to everyone!

So 11 months later he sends me a message asking how he can make this up to me (i.e., get me to change my review). What on earth does he expect to do 11 months after the fact? I've already hired someone to take care of the issue (and quite well) almost a year ago.  There is nothing you can do for me to get me to LIE for you and change my review. This man has no integrity, no scruples, and bad character.

Called Craig who had done work for me before to help with a dead garbage disposal.  He had me check the power outlet which I discovered was working as was the reset button on the outlet.

Craig suggested I check the disposal which I did and realized I had NOT pushed the reset button.  Voila, all fixed.

Craig saved me time and money and got himself a devoted customer !

Woke up with some fried circuitry that took out half of the power in my place. Scheduled an appt via Yelp in the late morning, and Steve was at my door early to the appt. time a couple hours later (on a Friday afternoon). Steve was super helpful in quickly diagnosing the issue, and was also really patient while we got some clearance to access the building's electrical room from the HOA. All in all, he was out of here in about 90 minutes & couldn't have been more efficient & professional. Good dude too! 5 stars.

Chris at CJ was nothing less than the best.  When the city of Whittier inspector says that he has never seen a new panel replacement as good as the one that was done on my house in his years that he has been doing inspections for the city of Whittier you know you cant go wrong with CJ Electric on any other future projects.  Anything other than CJ would be making a mistake.  The price he gave me for the panel replacement was more than fair and actually less than I expected.   Too many construction/contractor companies are thinking about how much $$ they can make in that one job and not thinking about the power of word of mouth.  I have been in business for about 15 years and know how important the word from a previous customer can be to the future of my business.   I would be more than happy to prove that I am a legit reviewer and not a friend or a family member of CJ if you message me.  Cant really trust any 5-star reviews and personally like reading only 4 stars and below but would not be truthful if it was anything less then 5 stars.

If there were more than 5 stars, I would totally give this company about a million!!!!! Chris did such an amazing job at with the lights in my home that I had him come back a second time to install dimmers for my lights. I had spent some time looking for an electrician who was fair, responsive, and knew what they were doing. When I called Chris, he was so pleasant as to take down my information on what I needed to have done. Chris is extremely responsive to my text messages and gave me his expert opinion on where my lights should go. Even while I was at work, Chris was giving my fiance advice on how the lights should be placed and he did such an excellent job at placing all the lights in my home to where my home looks brand new now. Chris is super fair with pricing and he is always there to help out when I have any questions on the lighting. I recommended him to my mother in law to help put light fixtures in her home. If you want a trustworthy electrician who is not only the nicest guy but also the most knowledgeable, PLEASE use him....we will be going to Chris from now on!!!!!

Julio and Caesar were great! They had to run about 40' of conduit on the outside of my home to accommodate my Tesla HPWC. They were fast, super courteous and cleaned up everything before they left.

Setting up the appointment couldn't have been more simple. A couple of emails back and forth to pin down the scope of work, scheduling, send over a quote, and that was it. Great work for a very reasonable price. #1 on my list the next time I need any electrical service work!

First time using Ron and it was a wonderful experience. He was easy to communicate with, tried to find the easy and less expensive options first, and was totally honest! A real find!!

I was leaving problem with my solar, so I yelped a technician for a quote. Victor was responsive and got him over the check out my system the next day.
It turns out it was my inverter. Since it is still under warranty, It should be over by the OEM. Victor took some readings and info, called the OEM and follow up everything all by himself without me lifting a finger. At the end, he got the system working again. The whole process was smooth.
I definitely highly recommend his service.

Bryden reigns supreme. Two quick stories.

First, a couple years ago, we needed to install some new outlets in the kitchen and change out an electrical panel. Two electricians told us we needed to break open walls and basically rewire then entire house at a cost of more than $10K. Brian from Bryden came in, carefully looked around and saw we could do what we needed for around $2K. Everything was installed safely and quickly and we haven't had an issue in two years.

Story #2. This summer, we installed ceiling fans and track lighting. Price was very competitive and we didn't have to wait more than a day to get the job done. The Bryden electrician installed a light switch in the kitchen that we later discovered bumped against a pantry door when it was fully opened with the drawers rolled out. Bryden acknowledged that it was an installation error and scheduled us as the first appointment in the morning to fix the job. Positioning the new switch was a more involved project than we expected. It took the technician over an hour and would have cost us several hundred dollars but Bryden gracefully ate the cost and didn't charge us a cent.

Always fair, always clear, always prompt, always communicative, and always calling them!

Tomas did an excellent job fixing a water damaged wall and installing a new sink and toilet. He works hard and takes his time to do the job right. Will definitely use him again in the future.

Bill is amazing! He took care of various electrical issues in my Mom's house. He was timely, professional, respectful and went over and above to make sure everything was done right and was safe. He is honest and reliable and we trusted his recommendations for the work that had to be done. I recommend him highly and we are so glad we found him!
