Best Electricians in California

This year we've decided to do a couple renovations inside and outside of the house and one of them was getting our landscape lights installed in the front of the house after seeing a couple videos online, and thought hey that's pretty neat! Got a bunch of quotes from electricians but not a lot of them knew what I was talking about, that's until we found Tom with T&M! He is very skilled at what he does and works diligently, asked us a lot of important questions that we needed to figure out as well!

I had previously used Billy's services as an electrical sub-contractor during the home restoration project at my house. I knew that his team's work was excellent and that his crew was very professional. More recently i.e. two weeks ago I hired Billy and Conejo Valley Electric to perform these tasks: run power to outside BBQ, install 400W swimming pool light, install outdoor GFCIs, indoor dimmable LEDs for the hallway, and a quiet fan + dimmable LED for the powder room.
Conejo Valley Electric completed all the work on time, with high quality and at an extremely reasonable price.
What I like about Billy and Conejo Valley Electric is that they will provide an up-front estimate and back it up with quality work. Any variance in the final invoice has always been due to change-orders from me, and the variance amount has been justified and agreeable to me (Read: No invoice-ambush).

I called him after 10 PM on a Tuesday night and he answered and sounded sleepy. And through a sleepy voice, he walked me through how to fix my problem. I had no power at all after a black-out in my neighborhood. My electricity didn't come on with the rest of my neighbors. Edison company tried to help me over the phone and in the end they told me that I needed an electrician to fix my faulty breakers. I called for emergency service from Peter. He told me that Edison is often wrong and give me very precise step-by-step instructions while I stayed on the phone and followed them. Within minutes (after five hours without electricity and bad info from Edison) we were back in business. He didn't ask for compensation and never made me feel like he was put out by my call. He would have come out (15 miles away) if I couldn't fix it right away. He's like having a brilliant electrician as your brother.

Very professional and knowledgeable. We had them install 240 V plug for our EVSE. He was on time and came even on a Sunday. We were very impressed with this company. Workmanship looks good, and so far it's all working great.

Received a quote  immediately. Provided service the next day. Mo the electrician was extremely professional and competent. Highly recommend using this company

Yarin and Athor did a very thorough and comprehensive job.  At first when they arrived, I was a little unsure because there was a bit of fast talking going on and I was unsure if they were going to: 1. Address my issue and only my issue? Or 2. Make more issues than I called them with? But once they calmed down a bit and understood what I wanted, what I needed and that I had a strict budget I needed to adhere to, they got down to business.

I believe they fixed my issue and I believe everything is now working properly.  Most importantly, Yarin gave me his information and said I could reach out if I had any more issues--follow through and follow up is key and I trust Yarin to do so, as he stated he would.

As for Athor, great, agreeable and amicable young man who is learning on the job and seemed to have good customer service skills---identify what the customer needs and the way the customer wants to be communicated to and tailor your approach to that style of communication.

Miguel was really good at communicating and setting up an appointment for me to have the wiring in a light switch checked. It had a tight space for connections and I couldn't get it to work. Miguel quoted me a price and sent an employee to my house.

The electrician installed my light /plug outlet, knowing the outlet part was fried (by me evidently but I did not know that at the time). It was beside a double plug outlet which functions, but I would have paid for him to replace it with a working one if he had it available. Then the employee charged me 10 bucks more than I had been quoted by Miguel...

Miguel called to follow up and I let him know what happened. I also let him know that I would have preferred that his employee up-sell me to replace the unit with one that wasn't fried.

Miguel quickly offered to come by personally and fix the problem, but somehow schedules didn't work out and I didn't hear back from him... Bummer.

My bet is that Miguel is a good electrician, but also a busy business man.  Eventually I'll get back into the box and try to fix it again.

For the past few months, I've been looking for electrician to install a high ceiling light fixture for my parents. The majority of firms either didn't have the ladder or quoted an exorbitant price. I contacted P&W, and they scheduled an appointment for my parents to receive an estimate. The estimate was reasonable, and Patric scheduled the job right away. Professionalism and attention to detail!

Crown Electric (John) did electrical work in my home recently which was all done nicely. He was on time and very friendly.

Before arriving he provided a verbal quote of $300 over the phone which I agreed to for the installation of  two wall sconces by running wire from an existing light fixture. The work was done the next day and the sconces look nice.

I then asked/reminded that I wanted a dimmer on wall switch and at the same time asked about installing an outlet for a toilet bidet. No problem for him to do but I did not ask for a price to do so  (big lesson once contractors are in your home). I mentioned a nice tidy way to run wire to the outlet as mentioned by another electrician but he had another idea, which he did without my permission and left me with a huge hole running across a wall I had just spent hundreds of dollars to repair, 8 feet by 5 inches (see photo).

Additional cost of adding a dimmer to an already installed outlet $150.

Additional cost of installing an outlet by toilet and running wire $350 (knocked off $100).

Please receive quotes upfront for everything you need done and ensure your marble floors, toilet, vanity and anything else new or old are covered before they arrive or you most likely will have a big mess to clean up.

Worst part:  Additional cost of $500 I will pay someone tomorrow to patch and drywall the ridiculously big hole he left for me to deal with and before the contractor can continue the work.

I love using Craig's Electric! As a realtor, our clients may come across many issues with the electrical wiring, panel, outlets, etc during inspections of residential and commercial properties. Craig and his team do a great job to educate our clients during this step of the process. Honest and hardworking i would recommend Craig whether you need an entire complex rewired as we had with our HOA several years ago or for your average panel upgrade when your Zinsco has kicked the bucket!

This company is the absolute BEST! From scheduling, estimates to the final finished work, it was such a pleasure working with them. Steve was my technician, and he was very knowledgeable in providing the best quality at the same time most cost effective solution for what I needed at my home. He rewired some recessed lighting to separate them from a light fixture and put them on dimmers, so I no longer am blinded by bright lights in the morning. Steve was a true trooper and got up in the dusty attic to minimize the cosmetic affects of electrical work. He was so efficient, kept the jobsite super clean, and didn't have to cut any of the walls. I wish all contractors were as amazing and honest as Steve! I recommend USA Repairs 100%!

He was Great! Same day service. After I had to call several and were not available. My power went out in my additional room. He figured out the problem in under an hour. Chris is an extremely professional, knowledgeable, and overall bad-a$$ electrician.  I'd hire him again for any and all electrical work that I will need.  Prompt, fair, honest, and a master of his craft.  I'm remodeling a bathroom, and I'm pretty comfortable doing most things, but electrical is one of those things that are better left to a pro, in my opinion.  Chris came, understood what I needed done, and made it happen, all at a very reasonable price.  Glad to do business with him, and will do so again in the near future.

jose and alex came out on time. Replaced three recessed lights with three complicated light fixtures. This included working in the crawlspace, updating old wiring, and plaster. They were incredibly efficient. Very clean. And well priced.

I can only add to the accolades you've already seen.  I found Ron on Yelp, he returned my call within two hours, he did an excellent job installing a tricky light fixture, and gave excellent advice about some funky wiring that was done in the house prior to our moving in.  He is smart, practical, and NOT out to make a quick buck--he wants your business for life, and he certainly has mine!

I was in need of Backyard trail lighting repair for about 24 lights. Walter was wonderful very professional, quick helpful and did a great job. The company worked with me so well and I would highly recommend this company for electrician services and I will be using them for any of our future home needs.

Tomas did a great job fixing our kitchen sink piping. He made some corrections to the original piping which was not done properly years ago. Very reasonable prices. We use him again for any other work needed around the house.

Bill is a great electrician!  I am so glad my family used him. He is quick to respond, does superior work, and is priced fairly.  We appreciated his honesty and expertise during the design process prior to starting our construction - if we could do it over again, we wouldn't have bid the job, as Bill was the clear favorite and we could have started work earlier.  He is also a Westchester resident and takes great pride in our community.  I highly recommend Bill for your next electrical needs!
