I have used Curt twice this past year. He is responsive and truly a great electrician. He was here today to replace a burnt out socket and also install a cover on another socket outside. He does great work and is reasonable in price. I highly recommend him.

Curt, the owner of CW Electric, is prompt, experienced and professional. Based on recommendations in a FB group, I called him in a panic when our smoke detectors were beeping to be replaced. Make your life simple -- if you need electrical work done, just hire Curt and don't bother with anyone else. We were so lucky to find Curt several years ago when we needed some electrical work done. Since then he has done a lot of work for us from small things (like fixing an outlet) to large things, like the whole house fan in installed for us this week. He is professional, highly experienced, a very thorough and careful craftsman, honest and fair in pricing (I've suggested he raise his rates!), and a really nice person to work with. When he tells you he will arrive at a certain time, he does so. Great communication by phone or text. He is really terrific. You are never going to find another contractor of any sort as good as he is!

I wish every contractor was like Curt!

We've hired him many times over the past 6 years to perform various upgrades around our house:

-New power line w/upgraded service (20A) from breaker to garage
-Added a 30A 125/250V outlet for dryer
-Recessed lighting in 4 rooms
-Under-cabinet lighting in kitchen
-Sconce lighting, heat light, and vent fan in bathroom

We are always happy with the outcome. He is a super nice guy, has reasonable pricing, is a good communicator, and always does great work.

Do not hesitate to hire Curt. He is warm, professional, knowledgable, reliable, and does really great work. This week and over several years (decades now), he's installed light fixtures, outlets, etc. inside and outside of our home - identifying and creatively solving idiosyncrasies with our older house to get the job done. He is very conscientious with protecting floors, etc while he works, and always cleans up after the job. Communication with Curt is very clear, and he is happy to discuss and answer any questions we have. We feel so fortunate to have someone we can depend on for assistance with all things electrical.

First off I want to say how great of job Curt did! He was on time and very clean and professional with his work.
I needed a new electrical panel installed because mine was very dated and needed more breakers. The price was also very competitive . I had gotten several other quotes but found his to be the best! I will definitely call Curt for all the electrical work I will have in the future.
He is very friendly and has great communication skills.
He answered all my questions and explained everything he was doing.
Definitely will recommend him to friends and family!!!

Call Curt at CW Electric. He is thoughtful, responsive, and informative. He has replaced a chandelier and advised us about some recent electrical problems, and only charged us for work performed. We couldn't be happier with CW Electric and will certainly call him for our future electrician needs.

Our electrician Curt (owner of CW Electric) worked a project for us to add a new 220 volt line to our new electric double oven. Had a small but urgent job when having a new appliance delivered. Needed a new outlet installed right away. Curt was super nice. WOW. We had server electrical problems that the previous electrician had only half-fixed. An outdoor outlet was hanging loose off the wall. An internal closet light was always malfunctioning. Curt took the time to fix both items the RIGHT WAY. The closet light took multiple diagnosis attempts but he persisted until he figured out the causes of the problem and fixed them. A very generous and professional expert! We feel very lucky that we finally found a great electrician service. Curt / CW Electric is the best.

Every now and again you find a great professional, someone who knows his trade, is timely, and is personable.

We called curt at the weekend, and he came the same day, spent time to diagnose the issue and to fix it. He worked around the entire circuit, diagnosed the issue and fixed it... we were back up and running with all our power fixed inside 2 hours.

He's a one man show, so you Get him working on your project and I'm sure he'll be straight with You.

He's well worth a 5* recommendation ... he's definitely our Go to guy From now on!

Curt was great, he was very responsive, prompt for our appointment time, and handled all of the work expeditiously. He quoted me a worst case scenario price and the majority of time when someone does that, I find that to be the amount I end up paying, but not this time, the work was completed and the pricing was significantly less than the worst case scenario.

Not only will I call Curt again for future needs, but I actually placed a call to him just before writing this review as I am in need of some additional fixes at the present.

Thanks Curt, and I look forward to a repeat performance of last time you did work for me.

I needed an outlet in my bathroom to plug in my new tushy warming toilet seat. Curt did an excellent job at a very competitive rate. He is friendly and more importantly honest. I had him over prior to this small job for a quote on a recirculater that would have been way more trouble and money than it was worth. He shot me straight, didn't make me feel pressured or like I was wasting his time; that says a lot in my book.

We had a great experience with Curt from CW Electric. We had a faulty ceiling fan that needed to be replaced. He responded very quickly to a voicemail I left with him and we set a time for him to arrive. He arrived precisely on time and was very friendly and easy to work with. Boy am I glad I ran into the owner of CW Electric at Home Depot!

I was trying to hang a ceiling fan and fix a GFI electrical outlet on my patio. If he hadn't offered advice and suggestions at HD, I'd probably have electrocuted myself or started a building fire.

I had him come over the next day to help me. He was one of the coolest guys...and he educated me on what would work best in my place vs. what I thought would work.

He saved me money, headaches and potential liabilities. If you want an electrician who isn't going to rip you off, who you can actually talk to, and who is someone you can trust.....THIS IS YOUR GUY.

Curt is an expert electrician and just a trustworthy, friendly person in general. He's responsive, easy to work with and has been in business for over 25 years, and he has done a great job in my experiences with him. We used him for several small jobs around the house, including fixing a recessed ceiling light fixture, a broken patio light fixture, a bathroom fan and installing an extra power outlet. He's very careful but works fast and cleans up after himself. I highly recommend C&W for your home electrical issues.

I have probably used a dozen electricians over the past 10 years and they always seem to have some major issue (unreliable, too expensive, dishonest, etc...). Until I used CW Electric. Curt is amazing. He is reliable, incredibly skilled, very competitively priced, and a really nice guy. I have used him for 3 jobs so far at two different locations. He was great each time and the third time didn't even charge me because the fix was so simple. I am so glad that I have finally found the perfect electrician. I can not recommend him more highly.

Recently finished a significant project with CW Electric on our house. Curt was a pleasure to work with. We kept good communication, he was prompt with his appointments and completion date. His prices are reasonable and he explains in detail if something will cost extra from the agreed price. His work is clean and of great quality. After completion we went step by step of the list of repairs and everything was done as agreed. One can tell that Curt takes great pride in his work and has a lot of experience. I needed to install a GFI outlet in the bathroom of my apartment. Since my building is fairly old there was no existing outlet that could be converted so a lot of work was needed to make room for the new wiring.

Curt knew exactly what needed to be done and completed the work without a hitch and at a reasonable price. When I asked, he told me he's had a lot of academic training, unlike many electricians who just learn on the job. He's also a super nice guy and was punctual and accurate in his estimate of the time he would need. He left my place cleaner than he found it. And he was happy to answer my questions on the phone after he was done.

I would definitely use him again and recommend him wholeheartedly.

Curt was on time, mindful of protecting our house with drop cloths and did a nice job installing a replacement light fixture, and fixing two problems regarding a pool light and closet light. Three other electricians couldn't repair that closet light, but Curt was thoughtful in his process of finally addressing the root cause. Curt came to fix a few things in my home: a bad outlet, a bad shower fan, and to install two new ceiling fans. He did each project to perfection with detail and walked me through the whole thing. He answered all my questions with patience and offered wonderful suggestions that I never thought of. As a female, he was not intimidating or threatening in the least - I was completely comfortable with him in my home. He is a super guy with attention to detail and efficiency. I was in a jam when all my kitchen lights went out suddenly on a saturday afternoon. I needed to get it fixed quick as i have 2 little munchkins and a working kitchen is critical to ensure things are operating smoothly in the house. Curt quickly came over. He was attentive, very professional, an expert, and got things fixed asap. Moreover, he is very personable and pleasant to be around. Rates were reasonable and he was honest. I didn't feel like he was trying to get the best of me. Best part - he's a Denver Broncos fan! I should have known, given the great experience i had working with him. He's definitely my Peyton Manning of electrical! ;-)

I searched for an electrician here on Yelp, and I am happy I did so! Curt does one heck of a job and I am very happy to have him work at my place. I moved into my place about a month ago and needed some cleanup work done and some code violations cleaned up. I found CW Electric on Yelp and I was very pleasantly surprised!! CW (Curt) was professional, courteous, prompt and very knowledgeable. I had a small job and he showed up on time to assess it and after we discussed my options, he did the work right on the spot and for a reasonable price. Other electricians told me that there was no way around cutting into the drywall to do the work, but Curt found a way to do the job quickly and without having to patch any drywall. I definitely recommend him!
