If I could give Aram @ Voltech 10 stars I would.
I contacted him to finish up a job my plumber couldn't figure out do to the electrical issues.
Just by sending Aram a couple of pics with a quick explanation of the issue, he immediately Responded with the solution at beyond a fair price.
He showed up on time as scheduled and finalized the project in a very timely manner. I then added a 2nd project where he again quoted me a very fair price and quickly completed my job with his employee.
Can't thank him enough for all his professionalism and friendly demeanor.

I contacted Voltech today for some electrical work and was pleasantly surprised at how promptly they could help me. Communication was clear, quick and easy. Aram gave me a quote which I found very reasonable. He clearly has a lot of experience and competence. He was able to repair a broken outlet and replace 2 light switches to smart Wi-Fi enabled switches in a very short time.
This was my first time using Voltech but I would definitely use them again and highly recommend their services.

We were looking for a licensed electrician to install recessed lighting in our townhome and are so happy we found Aram & Voltech Electric. From the get-go, Aram was extremely friendly, responsive, offered very competitive pricing, and even showed pictures of the canless lights he would be installing. Aram was also very accommodating- I was in the middle of a job transition and needed to get the installation completed quickly before I returned to the office. I hopped on the phone with Aram on a Monday evening and he was able to come the very next morning for the installation. He and his team did a fantastic job installing our lights (and even removed our old ceiling fans!). In total, we had 23 recessed lights on dimmers and 5 dimmer switches installed. They make such a huge difference in brightening up our space! The recessed lights even have different settings- we opted for a warmer yellow since we don't like white light. When they finished the installation, there were no surprises or changes from the original price I was quoted. Would definitely recommend Voltech Electric for anyone looking for quality work and an honest, accommodating and communicative business!

We have an old 8-plex apartment complex built in the 1920s and we wanted to upgrade the electrical to be able to have 220. I talked with the city and they said I need to get an electrician to submit a tons of papers and such. The guy I usually reach out to for everything electrical didn't want to do a job that big, so I came onto yelp and reached out to a ton of Electricians.

I'm so happy with the work the Aram did. He gave a fair price and did a good job. Both the DWP and the City had to send inspectors out and everything passed.

Beyond the electrical work, Aram is truly great to interact with. He is so good with communicating. I always knew when he was going to be come and what's the next thing that was going to happen. He's super personable too! He's just a great guy to be around, fun to talk to, nice, kind, and thoughtful.

I also appreciated how he would point out things that I might need to get looked at while he was under the building, like the foundation and leaky pipe.

I 100% recommend Aram and Voltech Electric.

Aram ghosted me. I hired him to replace an old subpanel in a cramped cabinet. He came by a few times. The last time, he brought a new panel box that was the wrong size (which was obvious beforehand). He said he would figure something else out and I just never heard from him again.

We had a very big job that we had to take care of after the DWP came out. Aram did an amazing job! He gave me a quote for the job and the time frame involved. Amazingly, he finished it right on time, with no hidden charges. He is absolutely dependable in every way.
Aram is a professional businessman who strives to please the customer with good communication along with excellent performance.
I am so happy to have found him. Also, Aram followed up a few months after the job was completed to make sure all was well. That's a home run to me.

Aram installed a new electrical panel for me and he did a great job from start to finish. He was responsive throughout the project and managed the whole permit process with the city, continually pushing to move things forward even when the city was not being very responsive. His knowledge of the city requirements also allowed me to plan ahead for things such as a tree removal, which could have held up final approval by the city. He even followed up with the city inspector and made sure we passed inspection. He happily answered my many questions and was always punctual when we met in person. I would definitely use him for future projects and would highly recommend him to others!

I recently needed to get my electrical panel updated and reached out to Aram for help. The work he did was perfect, it was exactly what I wanted. He was able to get it done in one day in a matter of a few hours while other companies had said it would take 2-3 days. I highly recommend his service, he managed to make time to work around the day that I needed it for even though it was short notice. Even after doing the panel he still continued to reach out when the city inspectors were scheduled to inspect it. Overall his work was amazing and we are extremely happy with the results.

Read the glowing reviews on Yelp and there was one recent review that wasn't so great but there will always be an outlier so I didn't let that sway my decision with reaching out the Voltech.

In the beginning, everything was going smoothly. Aram, I think he's the owner, took my phone call, set up an appointment time and was accommodating to text me ahead with his estimated time of arrival so I didn't have to sit around waiting for him to show up or not show up.

When I got to the job site, Aram was already there waiting. That was a plus. He evaluated the situation for what was needed and gave me a ballpark figure but would have to check with his supplier before getting an exact amount. I told him I might look to get the replacement light unit myself and just have them install it and to leave that as an option too.

True to his word, Aram called me right after he got a price on the replacement light unit and gave me the specs on the phone. I was still on the road driving back to my office so I couldn't get all the details and told him I would text him my email address and look forward to getting his proposal later on. Little did I know that was going to be my last contact from Aram. In my mind, he seemed professional and competent and the verbal price quotes he gave me were reasonable so I was set on hiring him. It was just a matter of using the light unit he was proposing or getting one myself and just having him install that one.

When I got back to the office, I texted him my email address and asked for more detailed specs on the light because he was saying it was going to be a LED 1000 watt equivalent to replace the metal halide 400 watt unit that I had. Since the light was on a commercial property right next to an apartment building and facing oncoming traffic, I was concerned that it would be an issue with some city ordinance and was hoping to go with something less powerful and closer to what I was trying to replace. That afternoon I went to a store specializing in lighting and was able to get a wall pack unit that was on par illumination wise with the unit that was getting replaced. I hadn't heard back from Aram yet so I texted him to please send me a separate quote just for the installation.

I never got a response from Aram and that was unexpected since he was pretty decent with his communication in the initial contact. I understand that sometimes they get caught up in work projects and can't take on any more work for the moment but the contractor should at least let the prospective client know that they're swamped. At the same time, how can you get more projects if you're not even going to put a bid and not respond to a prospective client?

I set out on Yelp again and found another electrician to do the job and they were even more responsive and just as competent. This electrician took care of the job in about 45 mins. It worked out well and I am pleased with their work. I'm sure Aram would have done a good job. Reading all the other reviews are evidence to that but he never gave himself an opportunity and I felt like he had more important things to tend to.

So that's my less than positive experience with Voltech Electric and I'm sticking to it.

Nowadays, it is hard to find a reliable and honest electrician! We are so thankful that we came across Voltech Electric Inc! Aram is truly a PRO! He is also prompt and communication for me is key! We had purchased a new light fixture, and it was fairly large. Aram came and installed it in less than 2 hours! He is quick, and highly efficient! My chandelier looks FABULOUS!!!!! Adding Aram and his team to my shortlist of trusted vendors in Los Angeles.

We've been going through a forced remodel (water damage...so sad). Our painters were about to start work this Wednesday, but they realized that we needed get reinstall our existing recessed lights so they were new construction (affixed to beams) instead of the dangling remodel cans.

Voltech and Aram came to the rescue.

(1) Quality of Work - fantastic, and Aram was knowledgeable about the types of light, which kinds we should use, placement of installations, etc. His team was able to squeeze us in last minute (they arrived early, 7AM) so we could get this done before our painters came in the next day.

(2) Cost - exceptionally reasonable, and very transparent pricing as well.

(3) Communication/Timeliness - I communicated with Aram mostly through text message and phone. He's very prompt and clear with everything that needed to happen.

(4) Administrative - once the work was completed, he asked for my email address and sent over the receipt complete with line items for work completed.

I trust him and his team, and would not hesitate to work with them again in the future.

Aram has come to our house for minor repairs and to install some ceiling fans. He is professional, likable, tidy, and trustworthy. The most recent time he came was because an outdoor extension cord had blown and it scared us that there may be a short somewhere that could blow something in the walls of the house and catch fire. Aram came, tested it, told us everything was fine and didn't change a thing. We did not expect that!
More importantly, he really knows what he's doing and we feel like we are in safe hands. When it comes to electrical work, it's really important to hire a pro. The fact that his prices are reasonable and he's a nice guy is icing on the cake!

Professional, quality work and passed inspection easily. We replaced the electrical in our almost century old house with Voltech Electric. We got 3 quotes and Aram's came in as the best value. He and his crew arrived early, communicated daily on progress of the project and worked with us on installing light fixtures and upgrading all the wiring in the house. We were able to get outlets in the front and backyard, upgraded to have non-existing closet lights and got a ring and automatic front lights installed. No more coming home to a dark house.

My handyman did some electrical work but it wasn't up to code and my circuit breakers kept popping. I had Voltech Run new circuits and check my existing wiring. They did a fantastic job neat professional And competitive pricing. I highly recommend them if you need any electrical work done at all small or large job.

Update 2/25/2019: I'm updating my rating and review from 3 star to 5 star after he reached out to me after my initial review. See updated review below.

Communication is good and they are on time. Price was very reasonable to install an EV charger with a meter but be careful when negotiating the quote. They'll give you a price plus permitting fees. My only nitpick, a really minor one, is that for his commercial customers, they understand what that means but for his residential customers, he should explain a bit more what that means up front. To clarify, it will not only cover the city's permit fees but the company's business license fees to operate in your city (those that are not in LA county jurisdiction ie incorporated cities) separate from the county and state business license fees he pays. This will up your quote by a few hundred that you may or may not be expecting. Again, as I said, this is a minor nitpick as this doesn't apply for people who live in unincorporated parts of LA county but warning residential homeowners who don't go through the permitting process as often as he does would be helpful for future customers.

The installers did a good job and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. Since they're electricians, they don't do any dry walling but thankfully, my dad was able to handle this himself since he manages a few apartment buildings. If you don't have a handyman in your life, Aram recommends Cal Express Patching.

As mentioned, after the install, I had some concerns and he got back to me quickly. I had questions about the previously mentioned permitting fees, notching that was required in some cross bracing during the install and changes in Telsa's wall charger installation height recommendations. If you're curious, the manual included with the wall charger had one recommendation but Aram corrected me that Tesla updated the manual online and allowed for additional height. That shows his experience with Tesla installs.

Overall, he was the most responsive, as he was the first one to complete a site inspection for an accurate quote out of all the electricians I requested quotes from. After getting several other quotes, he wasn't the cheapest but he also wasn't the most expensive. Some were ten times his cost but they were also going to do a lot of unnecessary work like ripping up my roof to run a separate overhead line from the street and a second 200A breaker panel besides being the big guys in the field. The ridiculously cheap one scared me a lot because of their horrible Yelp reviews. Voltech is my sweet spot choice for a reasonable price while still caring about the quality of their work and keeping their customers happy ie good Yelp reviews.

I also recommend to be assertive with asking questions and keeping things moving but also do your own research in advance. Electrical work may be very diverse and they're busy with their work since they're maintaining good Yelp reviews and they don't have a lot of time for people who are hemming an hawing. I think that's where the negative reviews came from, people who weren't serious about getting the work done. Luckily for me, besides my own research, Aram has done many other Tesla installs before so at least in one case, he corrected me with updated information.

I spoke with Aram about rewiring my house he was on time to our appointment. He took his time and explained what needed to be done.
He gave me a fair estimate and answered all my questions.
I did not feel he was rushing me or trying to close a deal.
I reviewed my bids, I was going to go with Voltech but against my better judgement I did not.

I wasn't very happy with Voltech. The electrician who came out looked at the ceiling fixture I needed installed and told me the LED driver wouldn't fit in the ceiling box. He said I needed a different fixture, a line voltage one that didn't require a driver. At least he arrived on time, and he didn't charge me.

The next electrician I called was able to install the fixture in a matter of minutes with no problem.

We recently purchased our first house and we had many things to fix related to electricity. We honestly didn't have much idea as to what needed to be fixed. A general contractor visited us and gave us an estimate for all the electrical work that needed to be done and the cost was unbelievable. Then we called Aram at Voltech Electric Inc, and honestly that was the best move we ever did. He came in a couple of hours after we called. He did a free inspection and gave us a review. He told us the good and the bad. He told us what needed to be fixed right away, and what could wait. He told us exactly how it needs to be done, and the cost of the work. The price that he offered was very reasonable and affordable. After we agreed, he started the work the next day. He finished the work on time as promised. His work was clean and his staff were very courteous.

I honestly would recommend him for any electrical work.

And there was light!

Aram was able to diagnose the problem with my kitchen light fixture from my description over the phone. He had me purchase a new light fixture from Home Depot.

Making an appointment was easy. Aram and team showed up promptly as scheduled. They set up and got to work replacing the kitchen light fixture immediately. Their dynamic and rapport was highly professional and precise. Like surgeons.

They encountered some difficulty in that the previous fixture was painted-over and maneuvered past that easily. They were done before I had a chance to finish checking my morning email.

Aram made sure that I was happy with the light setting before heading out. I was. Couldn't have scripted a better experience. Completely satisfied.

Owning a home from the 1920's has certainly been an interesting journey. Since we still have the original system of electrical wiring in our home (knob and tube) developed by Thomas Edison, it is an interesting part of history to experience, but in the push to be cost-saving, not always the most ideal. Our detached garage had some very interesting electrical work done over the last 90 years and as we wanted to get an electric garage door installed, as well as remodel the garage which was scary beyond belief, we had Voltech come out to estimate the work.

Price was very reasonable for all we were asking. Aram was available to come within a few days and he set to work. He removed all the old wiring which was put in metal piping on top of the studs around the garage and put in new romex everywhere, reset the panel so it was facing the right way and rewired the panel, re-did the electrical socket inside the garage and put one on the outside into our backyard, put the wiring necessary to put a lamp on the outside backyard wall as well as replaced the strange system someone did putting a light (with censor) on the driveway wall so we can see at night on the driveway, and put in sockets on the ceiling for the garage door as well as the existing florescent light that was hanging in the garage.

He did this alone and within 4 1/2 hours. I thought that was really impressive. He was careful to get exact directions of what we wanted and where, and did exactly what he said he would do. The work is awesome, and looks organized and tidy. It's nice to know that at least the garage is completely up to code!

I'd certainly use Voltech in the future for other electrical work!

Professional service throughout the entire process of installing my EVSE. Aram walked me through all the options and facilitated the city permitting. Because the install was in a condo complex, Aram was flexible in scheduling to accommodate all the HOA coordination. Aram and his crew are the best! They not only were accommodating and knowledgeable they made sure that everything was not only the most practical but the most beautiful for our home! The chandeliers look lovely; he made sure that we got the best lighting that will suit the hues and color theme of our home. I called and spoke to Aram regarding a different type of bulb to be changed on my rental condo in Glendale. Unfortunately, he was booked for two weeks but he still asked me to text a picture of the light fixture and willing to teach me on how to change it. Free of charge. This just showed me how genuine this man is. Though he never done service yet, Im giving him a FIVE star for taking his time trying to help me fix the bulb. If you're looking for anything electric to get done, Aram is the guy for you. He's hardworking, organized and knowledgeable. Aram closely listened to our preferences and made sure that we were ok with the project every step up the way. Although at times our schedule was tight and not the most convenient, they made it work and were very accommodating with us. Aram and his crew truly put our needs first. I had called Aram for some electrical work last year and I was very satisfied with the level of work that was done by him and his crew, so when my husband and I purchased a house that needed lighting throughout, I knew to look no further and to call Aram again. They were punctual, fast and cleaned up after themselves. He even took it a step further and inspected our electrical panel and informed us that it needs to be upgraded. After moving in to a new building our unit had no lights we were living darkness, until we found Aram! No you can see our apartment from a mile away. After going on yelp we found a local and friendly face to install a chandelier in our living room! Aram was very quick and professional. So I actually called Bear Electric last night after I screwed up installing an outlet (it was more complicated than I thought), but unfortunately Sam couldn't make it out in the morning (though he tried to make it work), so he referred me to Ben at Voltech. They quickly responded to my request. At 8:30am the next morning I got a call from the electrician Austin that he will be at my place at 8:55am and WOW...he was. He was courteous to just knock instead of ring the bell. He looked at all the electrical issues I was having and worked efficiently and thoughtfully to resolve each one systematically. He was pleasant and courteous the whole time. Luckily the fixes were pretty minor and we found a root cause of a disconnected wire at the breaker box that resolved 2 of the 4 issues. The work was good. I do think it was just a little over what I expected to pay for such simple fixes but overall it was worth it to have someone who seemed honest and genuinely was trying to save me money and get it right the first time. I will definitely be calling them out in the future for other electrical issues. Thanks guys.

I commend Aram for being attentive to my company's requests to replace an outdoor light sensor.

Unlike another electrician I contacted, he responded promptly and with a concrete estimate of when he'd be able to come out to do the work. (Surprisingly, so many other vendors lack basic customer service skills, ranging from calling when they're on the way, to giving you a head's up if they can't make it!) Moreover, the price he quoted was fair.

Come the day of the project, he was courteous and finished the work in a reasonable amount of time. I would use his services again.

Voltech is A M A Z I N G! I called on a Saturday for an emergency that required an installation early Monday and they were there RIGHT on time. Voltech installed recessed lights for my kitchen in April. They were timely and Aram responded quickly. Some of the holes were not flushed with the lights, but were not very visible.

A few days ago my husband and I were painting the ceiling in our kitchen and pulled off the led lighting so to not paint it. This is something you would do if the light burns out. A piece of the light broke off, mind you it hasn't even been a year. I contacted Aram about the broken piece. I was pleased that he returned my call so quickly. He asked me to send a picture.

He will be by Friday to replace the light and was adamant about standing by his work.

I was having an issue with some of my electrical not working. Aram showed up on time, was very nice and professional. He looked at the problem and immediately checked my breaker box- and despite my attempts to switch on and off all of the breakers to resolve the problem myself- apparently one of the switches was just stuck and needed a little pushing. He solved my problem within minutes. I felt really stupid for not being able to fix it myself- and asked if I could please pay him for making the trip out to my house. He refused to let me pay him anything and told me to have a nice day.

Hire Aram. He is amazing. Especially if you have a big job. He is reliable and super easy to deal with. We had our entire house rewired. I think his quote was the lowest. But most importantly he always returned calls and texts and showed up when he said he would. He had to make a bunch of holes in our 85 year old walls to replace all the scary old cloth wrapped electrical wiring, and he acted like it pained him more than it bothered me. I always use Yelp to find service technicians. All of the positive reviews for voltech made me simply pick up the phone make an appointment and within one day my two new service Outlets were installed and my entire panel was rewired with new Breakers at a very reasonable price. He explained why I should rewire the panel which I agreed with and previous electricians had not even brought up how important it was. I think these guys are super reliable and super knowledgeable and would recommend them to anyone

These guys quoted $6000-7000 for a job we already have several quotes for in the $2500-3500 range = rip off merchants. They sent Arum who I understand was smug and cocky.

Update: Nonsense reply from Arum. The quote was simply to upgrade the panel not move it. A 200amp panel costs $200 maximum, permits also cost approx $200. The quote works out as approx $250/hr for labor which is an absolute rip off. My original review stands.

Huge rewire of my old two story craftsman we just bought in Glendale including upgrading the panel, installing proper outlets and fixtures. Very easy to talk to and approachable. Took care of all issues with the City regarding the permits and being a historic house. Great communication through the entire process. I am very pleased with Voltech's work. Aram and his crew were prompt, quick and clean.
I am from Portland OR. and was in LA to oversee repairs on my mum-in-law's Rosemead home so we could put it up for sale. Because I'm from out of town I had a very short timeline to work with and thankfully Aram was able to get to me right away. Aram is easy to work with. Lucky I found him on Yelp!
They replaced our aging electrical panel, moved a ceiling light, added some outlets and also added some GFCI outlets. They had to work around our plumbing crew, but Aram's crew got the electrical work done very quickly.
I didn't have time to get competing bids, but I have enough experience with electrical projects that I was satisfied that Aram's price was fair and his ability to meet my timeline was a big enough value that I was happy with the price.
I reccomend considering Voltech for your next electrical project, I think you'll be happy you did.

It was time to upgrade the electrical systems in my home shop (which is my garage, like most people) and I wanted it done by professionals. I needed to add 240V service as well as several 120V outlets for tools.

After calling half a dozen highly-rated contractors on Yelp, Aram from Voltech was the only one to respond immediately and furthermore, was eager to help. We met at my house and he provided me with an estimate the next day. His price was fair and his approach was straightforward. I approved the bid and we agreed on a day for the work.

I had moved to a new home and was looking for an electrician to do a complete rewiring of the property. I met with a Voltech electrician and was looking for an estimate with hopes of beginning work on the property soon thereafter. Basically, the electrician came out and we discussed the scope of the project and I answered several questions and was expecting an estimate in the next few days. Unfortunately, I never heard from the person I met again. Initially, I felt that Voltech would be a good candidate due to the reviews on Yelp. In response to the poor follow-through I felt compelled to write a review based on my experience (not because I know the quality of the work).

Unfortunately, the lack of follow through is the last thing that I would ever want when beginning a large home improvement project where the concern of getting things done in a timely manner only becomes more important once you are in the midst of a renovation. I personally would not recommend, but maybe there were extenuating circumstances and my quote fell through the cracks.

Three outlets go out in our kitchen and we have no idea why. I contacted Voltech via their website and received a phone call in about an hour. We talked about the problem and he let me know that the issue was probably a faulty outlet and quoted me a price (cheaper than other electricians I spoke to) and scheduled an appointment early the next day.

Aram shows up early, confirms the problem with my outlet and in 20 minutes fixes the issue and helps clean up what little mess he made. A simple problem fixed simply without hassle. I hope I never have to use them again, but at least now I have someone to recommend to friends!

Quick to respond, returns calls when said, agreed to bid job promptly. My review is strictly for their competency on calls and scheduling as they were very good at that I ended up having my general contractor finish the electrical without getting a bit from Voltech. I should mention that I have called four different electricians and only two of them call back promptly. Of those two both told me they needed to do some research on my particular request and return my call and Voltech was only one who did it. They text message me immediately as per my request since I'm busy with people all day. I responded with a request for scheduled appointment at a certain time which they agreed to.

This is the type of immediate care I appreciate from a contractor.

Our place in Pasadena needed some electrical work done, including a new GFI outlet, reversing the polarity in another outlet and correcting the wiring for an internal vac system. Called another electrician first who shockingly gave me a quote over the phone, but he sounded really shady.

Next I called up Voltech , and spoke with Aram who sounded legit and it turned out he was. He agreed to come out on a Sunday with short notice to provide us with an estmate. He arrived on time Sunday morning, and provided a reasonable estimate that beat the original one we were given by the other shady dude. He then came out the next day, and performed all the work in under an hour and a half. Added bonus for the fact that he is tech savvy as he printed out the invoice on his iPad. Would definitely call him again.

It was finally time to switch my house over to the underground feed provided by the City of Pasadena off of the old overhead wires. Aram came recommended by one of my fellow Disney Imagineers. We met at the house and I realized that Aram and I could work together on a mutually agreeable scope to achieve the under-grounding, upgrade the old panel and still preserve the circuiting to keep my X10 system working. Aram's price was quiet fair. My contribution to the deal was to make sure I was as clear as possible on the scope and understand that measurable change in scope deserves financial consideration.

I must say Aram's team does top quality work. Very clean, very professional, very neat and complete. As an Electrical Engineer, I appreciate the attention to detail. Aram held to his price and the job was completed on schedule and within the time promised. The switchover to the better part of a day, and they prepared me for that, so no surprises. Again, I must say a very clean and professional job.

Finally, I want to say that communication with Aram was great. He is very good about responding to text messages and emails (as well as phone calls). We discussed options and appreciate his willingness to entertain and accommodate some of my technical preferences.

I have no hesitation in recommending him and I am confident that will be using him in the future of upgrades and rewires that I have on my to-do list.

Aram and his wonderful Voltech crew saved us! We bought an old house thinking it would need a little work but the electrical systems were a HUGE mess that needed to be untangled and totally redone. Never have I see such a mess! In order to fix it, they had to totally tear apart the house and in the process discovered every single problem. They were thorough, expertly problem-solving (without gouging) and offered creative, cost effective, and legal solutions. He pretty much stayed within the time frame for making the repairs. Aram and his wonderful Voltech crew saved us! We bought an old house thinking it would need a little work but the electrical systems were a HUGE mess that needed to be untangled and totally redone. Never have I see such a mess! In order to fix it, they had to totally tear apart the house and in the process discovered every single problem. They were thorough, expertly problem-solving (without gouging) and offered creative, cost effective, and legal solutions. He pretty much stayed within the time frame for making the repairs. HE and his crew were there early and worked steadily all day. He was not the least expensive bid but we were confident in him more than some others. I am so happy with the result and the good news....my house is now safe!! Thank you Aram and the wonderful Voltech crew.

I emailed Voltech about an issue with my front gate intercom system and I got a reply back that same day that said they do not work on intercoms. However, the owner of Voltech was kind enough to recommend another company who also had a Yelp page. This other company also responded quickly and did a great job on the repair. In this day finding honest trusted Electrician is very hard, I needed electrical outlet to be installed for my business, Aram was refereed to me by a co-worker that I do business with . You know there are contractors that come to you place and cheap but you don't feel that vibe because you had past history with similar contractor that took your money and left half ass job.

I am glad i found Aram at Voltech Electric, He came gave me fair estimate on the job, he started same day and finish same day and every body is happy

He is one of the contractors that I would love to refer with confidence

Aram did a great job helping us with a variety of electrical projects. We had an electrical outlet added for our TV above the fireplace along with the AV wiring. Aram made great recommendations all along the way. He repaired our doorbell and swapped out some of our old two-prong outlets. We had a new light fixture installed in our hallway closet, and replaced the light fixture in our bedroom.
We definitely plan to use Voltech Electric for any future electrical work!

They did a fantastic job installing canned lights throughout our house. They planned out where each light would go so meticulously before starting, and the end result is incredible! Aram is dedicated to perfection. He's not the type to cut corners and he's reasonably priced. He did some kitchen rewiring on my old home and brought it all up to code. He does what he says and didn't charge me anything extra beyond what we agreed. I recommend him.

I never write reviews. Aram deserves one. I had an issue with several outlets on one side of my house being dead. One of them ran my tankless water heater, and so my 12 year old was going to need to take an ice cold shower! It wasn't a fuse box issue and I was dreading the wait. I called and left Aram a message about it before start of business, hoping to get on his schedule for sometime today or tomorrow. Not only did he call me back personally, BEFORE 8 am, but he also told me what the issue was, showed me how to fix it (it was so simple I'm embarrassed), explained why it was happening, how it should actually be wired, AND gave me a quote all on the same call! Huge fan.

If I could give ten stars, I would. I cannot speak more highly for how impressed I was with Aram. We had a problem with one of the electrical switches in our house which didn't seem to be functioning properly in controlling a ceiling fan.

Aram came by exactly on time and did very quick work. He examined the switch, told us that he thought the problem was mechanical with the fan and not a writing problem (and patiently explained why he thought that), and didn't charge us for his time despite our offering to pay. He was friendly and professional throughout, and was a pleasure to work with. We'll be using his services again and recommend him highly!

I called Aram to get a quote on a new sub panel and some other electrical issues. We permitted everything which he handled for us. His guys showed up as promised and the work was done in a high quality manner, his crew was very respectful and neat.

Aram is a great guy, after the job was over I realized he had worked for me on another job years ago, I was very pleased with that work as well. He keeps to his word and the quality was outstanding. Just an update. Another 5 stars. This company is outstanding. The owner Aram is an honorable business owner with just a few employees. Sometimes they get busy, and need a day to address your electrical issue. Aram will troubleshoot with you over the phone to see if he can help ASAP. Don't call anyone else, wait for Voltech.

I am a landscape contractor in the neighborhood. I needed an new electrical out added for a timer and transformer in the yard. Aram quoted me over the phone, he arrived the next day as promised, delivered what he said he would and went above and beyond to ensure the job was done to code. I have used Voltech Electric for my Ev charger and I am completely satisfied with them very fast very professional and the most important on time.let me start from a point where I called 4 different electrician companies around me and they came out with the highest quote not only that the job they were going to do was damaging to my building so much that I end up changing my mind about putting the charger done since I live in apartment. in the end I eventually decided to give Voltech a shot as my last one and surprisingly I did the right choice Aram explain to me what is the process and where should we start his price really shocked me and his performance was amazing and completely different plan compare to all that mess the previous Electrician came up with.

All I have to say is that Aram is the man. He knows his stuff. He recently did a job for us in our house. He was thorough, and even cleaned up nicely after he was done with the job. I have had other tech service companies do projects for us but we have to spend hours just cleaning up after them. Not the case with Aram. This guy is all about customer service. A+

Based on his stellar Yelp reviews, we gave Voltech a call and Aram was out that same day to give us an estimate. His price was very fair, and when we got a second estimate from another electrician that was nearly double his rate and estimated work time, we went with Voltech. Our small home needed a whole electrical upgrade and his team worked efficiently to get the job done. When we requested extra things that popped up during the job, they gave us a very fair price for the extra work. Our city inspector had just a few things he needed us to fix and Voltech was out the next day to finish the job. It's been a few months now and the work is holding up very well. We'll be calling on them again soon, as a few unrelated things have cropped up and I know they will do the job quickly, cleanly and affordably.

It's hard to find a good reliable electrician. When something breaks down you need someone you can trust and is competent. Aram was very good at explaining the potential problem and also and possible problems he might encounter so that you are not surprised down the way. We called Voltech because we needed a ton of electrical work done to our new home. We needed to update our entire electrical panel and update all our outlets throughout the entire house, along with a few other painstaking things. Aram and his crew are fantastic. They are friendly, quick, honest, hardworking people which is hard to come by these days. They got the job done in record breaking time and were a pleasure to work with. It seemed like I blew a fuse in my apartment, but when I checked the fuse box they were all okay so I thought I must have burned out a circuit somewhere inside the walls. That would be an expensive fix. I called Voltech after reading the Yelp reviews. Aram came out the next morning to take a look.

He showed up and took a look at the fuse box and then the breaker box on the other side of the building. It turned out that I just tripped a main circuit breaker in the breaker box. Visually it appeared that the breaker had not been tripped so I had never actually tried to turn it off and then back on. I felt like a moron.

Aram told me I didn't owe him anything for the call. I have been a Yelp member for a six years and he just earned himself my first five-star Yelp review.

Voltech Electric is a pleasure to work with, from the first phone call where we were able to schedule the install of ceiling fans a few days later through the entire installation process. Fast, Honest, Right on Time

We have done a lot of work on our new house and certain parts of the outside lighting have continual problems. I have had at least three electricians out to fix the issue. I randomly tried Voltech and spoke with Aram (on a day when I called 5 local business and he was the only one who agreed to come out before his other appointments the next morning. Right Away! ). Aram did everything he promised and then five more things I asked about and then he charged me less than every other quote. He fixed the unending problem and spoke to me like I was completely capable of understanding what was wrong - which i did when he explained it. He is the only electrician I will use now.

Aram came over to take a look at a loose outlet in my house. He had it fixed in 10 minutes and charged me.... nothing!

I tried to give him a tip, but he refused! He told me to just keep his card and call him for the next problem I have. Needless to say, I was pretty stunned. He's a genuine guy trying to build a client base, and I am more than happy to help him.

Aram over at Voltech is one of those rare vendors that truly is deserving of a five-star rating. I called him because the home I recently moved into had older, ungrounded wiring in various places. Aram was highly responsive and showed up on time. He charged me exactly what he initially quoted, despite the fact that the job was more work than he had anticipated. He stresses customer satistaction and insisted I let him know if there's anything that could have been improved upon.

Not only that, but he called me several times even after he finished his job to connect me with contractors to take care of other non-electrical repair work in my house. Finally, I encountered an electrical issue about a week after his repair, which turned out to be a result of another contractor accidentally mishandling the outlets. Aram showed up about 10 minutes after I had called him, found the problem in 1 minute, and took 10 seconds to get the electricals back up! He also didn't charge me a penny.

Aram is knowledgeable, quick, and professional. I couldn't have asked for anyone better and would not hesitate to recommend him or call him again for future electrical repairs.

Impressed!!! I would definitely recommend Voltech.
We are a small business in the L.A area, which was in need of an electrician. We had a small office out of light, we inspected the bulbs and ballast., and knew that it could possibly be wiring or the switch. After several calls to other businesses that were giving us a 2 week wait. We located Voltech here on yelp.. Read many reviews and gave them a call.
The gentleman that answered was courteous and listened to what our needs were and gave us a time slot the following morning.
The electrician arrived on time, he flipped the switch and the lights went on... (ODD- they didn't do that in 3 business days!)
He changed out the switch at no cost. Took all but 5 minutes. Whaalaa we now have light! Very generous to help us out in an urgent need! --

If we are ever in need of an electrician, we now know who we can call and depend on!

It's a little late to rate them so I forgot a lot of the details and their names. But using these guys was the best experience. We were switching out a gas wall oven for an electric one and we had to have our kitchen rewired. The panel was upstairs so it was no easy task. The owner came by personally for a free estimate. And the next week two great friendly guys did the job very quickly, making sure to cut as few holes in the wall as possible. Highly recommend them!

The power to my refrigerator went out suddenly & I had no idea why. I called Voltech because of the good reviews they received on yelp, & I wasn't disappointed. Aram was ontime, he determined that the cause was a burned out socket. He replaced the socket & didn't charge me (even though I really wanted to pay) because he said it was no big deal. I am not handy at all, so every repair is a big deal to me! I really appreciated Aram's service & kindness! Highly recommended!

I had my kitchen lights fixed a week ago by someone that wasn't Aram. That was a mistake. The lights went out the next day and when I tried to call the electrician back, they wouldn't pick up the phone or call me back. It was the worst possible situation.

Then I called Aram. He quickly fixed the problem while also walking me through where the problem went wrong specifically. And then he gave me advice on a small project so that I could do it myself, even though it meant I wouldn't have to call him back and pay for more service.

Quick, knowledgable, affordable, basically the best case scenario.

In previous years I've paid Talbot electricians to come and fix my issue, making changes that truly never made my problem disappear and hundreds of dollars later I am back to square one.

This morning i called Aram at Voltech, he arrived in a timely fashion greeting me at the front door with a business card and a handshake. Couldn't be more professional. I've had nagging exterior Christmas light issues and while I was willing to throw a checkbook at it to make my problem go away, Aram advised me that a better approach would be to manage my lights' exposure to moisture and change my lighting habits. After a few suggestions he left -refusing to accept payment- for his visit and wished me luck.

I suspect this guy has a huge work ethic and likes to end the day knowing he hasn't screwed anyone. His business card says Old fashion service for the Modern World and he's true to form. If his technical skills are on par with his evident honesty and professionalism you'd be a fool to pass this guy up for another electrician...

Any electrical work in my future is going to be done by this guy.

We had just closed on a house and just after moving in I saw this panel on an interior wall of the house. I opened the panel and inside was a rat's nest of wires that looked very old. Since the inspections had found we had new electrical in the house and the panels outside were new as well, it made no sense. Next thing you know the wires crackle a spit! Lights throughout the house flickered on and off like the house was possessed for about a minute and then nothing, no power at all. We called Aram and we were not even sure it was safe to stay in the house that night.

He was great. He led us through some questions to determine if we would be safe and was at the door the next morning at 7:00. He saw the problem, looked with professional distain and disbelief at what had been done in our home, clearly offended by such shoddy work. He then went on to find a creative and safe solution to a difficult problem which was affordable for us. He was also able to take care of some minor fixes at the same time! He restored our faith in the safety of our home and the integrity of people in his profession. It was all done in a day and we cannot thank him enough. Excellent!

I just recently moved into an apartment that I am subletting from a friend of mine. He told me that the outlets in one of the bathrooms didn't work and he had never bothered to call an electrician to get them fixed but that I could and send him the bill for it. I checked the circuit breaker to see if any circuits were tripped, but seemed like nothing had. I called Voltech after reading the great reviews on Yelp and made an appointment for the next day.

Aram called prior to when my appointment window was scheduled just to let me know that he would be there within 30 to 40 min, which was very helpful. When he arrived he was very friendly and professional. He checked the outlets and then the circuit breaker. It turns out that for bathroom outlets there is a special G.F.I. switch in the circuit box that when tripped stays in the on position, and then you have to press the test button to show if it is on or off. Anyway, Aram just flipped it back on, and that was the only issue. I felt a little silly that the problem was so simple, but Aram was great and he didn't even charge me for coming out!

Our condo needed a couple of outlets fixed so I called around a couple of highly rated Electrician in Glendale and found Aram. He had the best price and seemed the most professional over the phone. He arrived within the time frame he had promised to come and was done fixing 3 outlets in about an hour. I have a pet peeve of people walking in our new carpet with their shoes so I asked if he would put on shoe covers or take off his shoes and he complied with no complaint. Very professional straightforward guy, I would definitely use him again or recommend him to anyone I know.

It's odd that my first review on YELP is not for a restaurant but I recently received a level of service that I find missing these days in most businesses I frequent. Voltech was a pleasure to deal with from the onset when I called them for service. They were flexible and showed up on time the day of my appointment. They only took minutes to fix my electrical issue and refused to take payment(even a tip) for the work they completed. They said it was just a minor issue. Kudos to them for being such an honest business. I can tell you that they will be getting all of my future business and I will be recommending them to all of my friends as well.

I decided it was time to install proper lighting in my garage. While debating whether or not to try Voltech, a set of outlet switches decided to stop working. Scheduled a visit with Aram (owner) and he immediately fixed/replaced the 3 bad switches for me. He gave me a quote for the garage lighting (2 4ft fluorescent fixtures with conduit to existing light fixture) which I wanted to contemplate due to higher than expected cost. I decided to go for it and arranged an appt for following week. He brought a helper and was finished much earlier than originally quoted. Very clean install, looks very safe and solid, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. I may have found my go-to electrician.

Based on Yelp reviews, I called Voltech Electric and spoke with Aram. I explained our problem (4 outlets in the front of our house were completely out). He said he was extremely busy but could have someone out the following day. I told him normally that wouldnt be a problem, but in this case my fish pond filter was not working due to the outlet being out (my koi were very unhappy)....to my astonishment (and releif) he somehow managed to get one of his workers over here within a couple of hours. Eric showed up and fixed the problem in 1/2 hr!! Eric, however, noticed ALOT of fire hazards and informed me of what needed to be done. I already knew this house definately had faulty wiring. So I figured now would be a good time to fix everything. Eric said he would come back in a couple of days..which he did..and he fixed all the electrical issues AND made it so my house wasnt a fire hazard!! Eric was extremely professional, courteous, honest, and just awesome all around!!! I will definately use this company for all my electrical needs! Thanks Eric!

Aram came on time and gave a quote to install a security light at corner of my house and two sconces outside garage. He was only electrician that responded to calls during few days before New Year. In retrospect ,I rushed into agreeing to $900 estimate which now seems to be on the high end for installing three fixtures (he provided security light & I provided the two sconces). He got power for security light by connecting to existing outlet from under the house and for the sconces he tied into an existing socket in garage. Aram had to come back and complete some minor touch up work that was missed the following Saturday but to his credit he did finish the job even though he already had collected $850. Work was performed on Jan 2nd during regular work period so holiday surcharge should not have been in the mix. The electricians that finally returned my calls/emails for quotes (morning of Jan 2nd) were quoting much lower bids but I did not cancel Aram since that would be uncool. Can't help but feel that i overpaid but other than that - the work is acceptable..

I can't speak to the quality of an Voltech actual repair, but I just spoke to a Voltech representative by telephone about my dead fluorescent lights, which I attribute to the ballast. Rather than the typical hard sell to let his company repair my lighting, he suggested replacing the fixtures, which I can do myself (or which he offered to do if I cannot). This type of honesty is rare and very much appreciated. I will definitely look to Voltech the next time I need electrical work.

Our kitchen lights went out, and I called Voltech based on Yelp reviews. Aram answered the phone. We set an appointment for Saturday,, 7 a.m. (No I will be there between 8 and noon stuff!) Aram was right on time, and I was immediately impressed with his knowledge, communication skills, and professionalism. After studying switches and wiring, from DWP to interior, he gave us an estimate. He told us to start with the essential: we needed a new, bigger electrical panel and breaker replacement in the exterior panel. This wasn't a surprise. Our 1960's house used to have a low voltage system with consistent problems, necessitating rewiring and patching over the years. On top of that, a string of handymen/appliance installers had created a history of tripped circuits, making us a little nervous about our electrical infrastructure. Aram's quote was reasonable, and he recommended we take care of immediate problems first, and consider a phase two for later.
Aram arrived for the install date right on time, 7:45 a.m. He and an assistant worked 5 hours straight to resolve our electrical tangle. Then Aram took the time to label all breakers and to explain our wiring. He cleaned up thoroughly and asked whether I wanted a dry-waller to patch the cut-outs that had been necessary around the panel and lines. (He read my mind.) Aram called him for me; the man was on another job in the area and came out late afternoon the same day to do a first-rate job, inexpensively! Day after next I get a phone call from Aram to be sure that I was happy with the work!
I appreciated Aram's energy for his work, his integrity and thoughtfulness (he replaced the housing in a recessed light while he was here--at no extra charge--and contacted DWP to report corrosion around the powerline to our roof). Yelp is spreading the good word about Voltech, with its mission to provide Old Fashion Service for the Modern World. We trust that the money we spent on electrical work was a good investment in the house; next year, we'll call on him to tackle phase two. But Aram's reputation will travel fast, and I predict it's going to get a lot harder to schedule him.
