Hi, i’m Doug, a San Diego native who’s been in the business since 1994. When I’m not working , I enjoy spending time at the river with family or walking the aisles of Costco.

Doug did 7 jobs for me in two and a half hours, plus the time it took him to shop for two parts I knew he would need. He worked very quickly, despite most of the tasks requiring various-sized ladders. I really appreciated his on-time arrival. He is friendly, a good communicator, and has a nice truck with all the tools and components you could hope for. We are extremely satisfied with the work.

I've had Doug Bingham out for several electrical issues in the past few years, including an emergency repair on a rental unit. He is always friendly, prompt, professional and explains everything extremely well. His prices are very fair and you get excellent value for what you pay. I highly recommend Bingham Electric for all your electrical needs!

Doug came out to my residence to install a 30 amp RV outlet near my circuit breaker. The work was done in less than an hour and I couldn't be happier.

Called and made an appointment with Doug, the owner. He ghosted me and never responded to my calls or messages at the scheduled date and time. I had to take off time from my busy day and work schedule only to find out he flaked. if time is important to you, he wont value it.
UPDATE: Doug ended up reaching out to apologize for the mix-up and promptly asked to come take care of me. Between him and his wife, they handled and managed this situation very professionally and the work Doug did was awesome. I would hire them again!

Left message and received response quickly. Flat rate for trouble shooting problem. He was efficient and fixed problem

Doug is an excellent electrician. He's fast, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with.
Doug was on time, a great communicator before and during the job, and his prices are excellent. He and Rick installed four ceiling fans, fixed a dimmer, and replaced five light fixtures for me today, with considerate customer service throughout. I got several bids for this job, and I'm really glad that I went with Bingham Electric.
I had a great experience with Bingham Electric.
Doug was quick to reply to my Yelp request, quick to schedule an inspection/estimate, able to schedule me for work a few days out, and showed up on time and did a great job(and quickly too).
I will be keeping his number handy for future work.

I ran into a problem when I was replacing an old florescent recessed troffer kitchen light on my own with an upgraded LED version. I called Bingham Electric and Doug was able to schedule me an appointment the same day. Doug was experienced, quick, and reasonably priced. Thank you Bingham Electric, glad I called.
Doug is awesome! I had him install an RV connection and a spare outside outlet, and am so happy with the service I received! Excellent job, great communicator, fair pricing! I already have plans to use him again in the future :-)
Doug was recommended on the Santee facebook community page and he certainly delivered great service. He is honest and fair priced.

My absolute go to for electrical. Bingham has been in the business apparantly his whole life and it shows. Knows what he's doing and has fair pricing. Highly recommend!
Wow!!! Called him late Friday to install a 50 amp plug for my trailer at my house and he was out there quickly to install it. the install looks natural to the house and left no mess behind. Thank you very much and will definitely refer you to all my friends and family!!!

Doug did a great job! He responded to my request for a quote right away, he showed up on time, and did an excelent job. He was polite, professional, knowledgable, and fast. I will definitely keep his number for future jobs and will not hesitate to refer friends and family.
I have been in business for 19 years as a handyman I do light electrical but anytime I have big jobs I always refer Doug. All of the people that I have referred to him I have loved Doug and appreciate the referral. he has been in The electrical business his whole life and knows what he's doing but if you need a handyman don't hesitate to call me 858-229-1694 Matt I do all the things Doug don't LOL
Doug has done a lot of work for me and has never disappointed. Bingham electric is my go to company from now on. Perfect business. Bingham always exceeds my expectations.
