George with Cypress Street Plumbing installed a toilet for us after we realized the install was going to be pretty complicated. He was on time, professional, did quality work and even lowered his quoted fee when he decided he needed to use a plastic vs. a cast iron part. We would recommend his services.

Requested pricing on the install of a pressure reducing valve ($100 part & half hour to install) on an easily accessible 1 water main and received a quote just shy of $1200. Little did the salesman know that I worked for a large mechanical contractor for 10years and currently work for a large mechanical engineering company and that the total labor, parts, and van cost shouldn't have exceeded $300. These guys are clearly trying to take advantage of customers. Only reason they get two stars is because they responded under 12 hours.

Sam is extremely reliable and very honest. He has great communication skills and is always on time and professional. He did a great job with our plumbing needs. He will now be the only plumber we use because he is trustworthy, never leaves a mess and he is personable.

Amazing!! My water heater had a bad electrical fire and needed replacement. This morning I woke up ready for work and a day prior to vacation! They not only took the time to listen but sent a tech out fast! And in 4 hours the whole project was completed! I have a home Warrenty but they always go through loop holes to scam me out of business. Near me Plumbing was honest and well prices

The owner of this company is very nice and pays very close attention to detail regarding the job. If  I had any questions he was willing to answer it and help me understand everything that is going on throughout the process.

These guys were awesome. I had a suspected leak in the main line, coming into the house (on Tuesday of Thanksgiving week). Everyone was telling me earliest response was Friday or next week. These guys sent one of their commercial plumbers over within an hour and diagnosed the issue. It was actually two valves failing in my irrigation line. They were able to close it off and I'll deal with the irrigation later. I could not be happier with them going out of their way, to get someone over and keep us with water for Thanksgiving.

Randy and Marc showed up on time and were friendly, helpful, and very professional. They found simple solutions that 2 other plumbers hadn't found and wanted to charge us a ton of money to fix. One was the recirculating pump, which wasn't working. These guys figured that it wasn't plugged in! (It still needed work, but....) We also had no cold water in the master shower. A previous plumber told us it was a cartridge that was hard to get to, and would cost $1000. Randy handed me a rubber piece and said someone put this rubber piece on backyards and it blocked your cold water intake. I'm 63 years old. This was the best plumbing experience I've ever had!

I had water coming out of my foundation on the outside of the house - a slab leak.  I have had experience with other leak detection companies in the past with varying levels of success, NONE as good as this one.  I called several leak detection companies early the next morning and the earliest they could come out was late the next day, some were three weeks out!  I aborted Google search and found this company in Yelp.  Dave was able to come out in a few hours and once here, I spent less than 5 minutes outside showing him where the water was coming from and then he went inside and spent the next 45 minutes there using three different types of equipment and then told me (and showed me using his equipment) with greater than a 90% certainty exactly where he thought my leak was and described how it could be fixed!  He used a noise level detector to figure out which line (hot or cold) and to get the fixture closest to the leak, then injected a signal on the copper pipes to figure out exactly where the pipes ran using another tool, then used thermal imaging to find the PUDDLE of water in the slab around where the pipe was leaking.  The techniques were AWESOME!  He also gave me a plumber that was able to come out the NEXT day to fix the leak.  

This was during COVID-19 times and Dave came to the door wearing a mask, which was very much appreciated because I fall into the high risk category.  He cut a hole in my drywall (after asking for permission) as part of the troubleshooting process and the plumbers actually used that same hole to run the new plumbing.  He made the cuts nice and straight, knew right where to make the hole because of his equipment, and cleaned up the mess on the floor and tile before leaving.

I am writing this the day after the leak has been fixed and am still amazed at how well the leak detection went.  I am definitely using Dave if I EVER need leak detection again.  BTW, the plumbers I used said they have used Dave in the past and know that when he finds a leak it is always where he says.

For any plumbing needs, call and ask for Jesse! He took such great care of my home after a nasty slab leak. He was professional, kept us fully up to date on the process, and was super friendly and positive. I have nothing but great things to say and appreciate all of The Plumbing Medic's hardwork!

Criminals! I called rooter hero after a guest at one of our vacation rentals was having difficulty using the garbage disposal. Rooter hero sent someone out that day to take a look. The guests were not there, so I let them in the house remotely. The technician called me and told me I had to contact his supervisor. I called the supervisor Joseph and he informed me that the garbage disposal was broken and to replace it there were three options. Good better best All ranging between $550 to $1,000 installed. He said that they charged by the book, so even though the job may only take 20 or 30 minutes they can charge upwards of $500 plus per hour for the install.
I told Joseph I don't like the way they charge nor what I agree to pay that price. After many calls I found a different plumber that quoted me over the phone. The new plumber would use a heavy duty model for $175 and charge $125 for the install. Once the new plumber came over and took a look, as it turns out the garbage disposal is not broken at all! Some sort of Allen wrench somehow got down the drain and was obstructing the garbage disposal from turning freely. Now that is an honest plumber.
Either rooter hero is completely incompetent, or they are greedy criminals creating a racket. I tend to think the latter.  Of course everyone needs to make a living, I just prefer to pay people that earn it. I don't need to be swindled into parting with my money Just because I don't have to be at the property. I do not trust these people nor should you!
