Jay Clayton is an amazing master plumber with 30 years of experience.  He does all of the work himself, and he is organized, meticulous, has a convenient contactless system for the estimate and invoice and does great work.  He emphasizes educating his customers about their options.  He came right over when our hot water heater broker and leaked all over the inside of our house.  He replaced the water heater and recommended some safeguards for the future.  He's amazing and I would highly recommend him!

My recent experience with Gold Star Plumbing has been nothing short of exceptional, and I wish I could give them 6-stars instead of 5 and here's why. They were able to complete 3 separate plumbing repairs at my house in one day, but even more impressive than that was the professionalism, expert knowledge, and willingness to come up with an alternate solution that resulted in over a 30% savings from my original estimate. As Mike and Kyle began work on replacing a leaking copper main between the main water meter and my house, they realized that modifications to the original water supply lines which were made after the home was constructed to accommodate a soft water hose bib connection could be reversed back to the original configuration intended by the home builder which would save a significant amount of money. Mike and Kyle were able to provide a new, alternate estimate to return the connections back to the original plumbing configuration which saved over 30% from the original estimate and the work turned out looking great and much simpler than what a previous homeowner had done. I cannot thank them enough for their ability to treat customers in a way that builds trust and create cost-saving solutions. I have been a Commercial General Contractor for over 34 years and have been more of a do it yourself-er around the house for a long time, but as I get older and my personal time becomes more valuable, I rely on experts to do a project in a timely fashion and at a fair and reasonable cost and Gold Star Plumbing has lived up to that standard. And let's not forget about the great experience that Devin provided during the initial investigation and estimating process. He was very knowledgeable and quickly determined that the water line modifications made in the past were not put in per code and explained the process to not only fix the leak, but also to do so in such as way that meets current plumbing code and provides a 10 year warranty. Devin's attention to detail in writing up the cost estimate, taking photographs of the three separate areas of work I needed done and providing a reasonable cost estimate allowed me to quickly make a decision and sign the contract for work to begin the next morning. My wife and I are close friends with several of our neighbors who all have similar age of homes and we will definitely recommend Gold Star Plumbing to them for potential future work. Called cactus when my ac unit stoped working and just blowing hot air. They even had same day service after another company just never showed up. Very grateful for the service tech he was very professional and knowledgeable.
Gave me a price on the repairs and even recommended a few other things for preventive maintenance that i agreed to. My ac is cooling better than it ever has. I will definitely recommend Cactus to anyone that needs ac services.

Rob Bell came out for re-plumbing in our laundry room including work with a hot water heater.  Between the time we set the appointment and he came, we had a drainage problem.  Rob stayed and took care of it giving up his personal plans to make sure we had the use of our plumbing.  We were very pleased with his explanations throughout the work and highly satisfied with the work he did for us.  Thank you Rob.

I emailed Second Opinion late at night and very early the following morning I received a call regarding a hot water heater repair that was needed. The little bit of information I provided gave them a good idea of what was wrong and sure enough, they diagnosed it accurately (broken pressure valve).

The tech arrived, determined immediately what the issue was and began working on the repair. The repair was done quickly, the work was done professionally and all was fixed. Great work and recommended!

We had Goethe install two ac units and handlers 10 years ago. One air handler started to leak so we called for a repair at 10:30 am. The  person who answered the call said that a technician will call. We didn't hear anything until the following morning around 9 am and then the person said something weird. It's probably condensation, call us back if you want us to come out .
We called another repair company at 8 am and set up a repair.
I am very sad and disappointed by their service. I gave two star because they did call back.
