George at Cypress Street Plumbing was super courteous and professional. He replaced two outside faucets and a shower faucet at my house. He was reliable and a very fair price. I will definitely use him again.

I am a landlord that lives in California but has several houses in Phoenix and it's a constant struggle to find good contractors.  I'm always thrilled when I manage to find one and George at Cypress Street is one of my favorites.  He's responsive, fair and does quality work.  I cannot recommend them more highly.

If you're looking for somebody who is honest, on time and is so easy to work with, George is your guy! He has been awesome to work with both on small projects and our home remodel. As long as George is in the business, we won't have anybody else do our plumbing! He is THE BEST!

Called Cypress Street Plumbing last week based on positive reviews on yelp.  George answered the phone, and was very nice.  He was in the car, so we talked later when he could take down information.  We set up an appointment for Monday (today), and he said he'd be here between 7:00 and 8:00 am.  I left him a message about 9:00 since I had not heard from him.  No response.  About 1:30 I gave up and called someone else.  I understand that things can happen, or he could have gotten an emergency call or something,  but it was very inconsiderate to not at least let me know.  I will not call again, or recommend him.

Update:    George,   sorry for the harsh review.    With so many 5 star reviews, you must be doing good work.    I intend to give you another call when I need some plumbling work again.  As I said in my original review,  I understand how things can happen, but was very frustrated having taken the day off of work to be here.

There's a good reason Cypress Street Plumbing has so many 5 star reviews.  George is efficient, knowledgeable, affordable and frankly, a nice guy.

He helped install a gas line for a grill.  When it was discovered that my existing pipes weren't quite up to snuff he went out, bought new material and came back and reconstructed the whole thing, all very fast without any complaints. He didn't charge me a dime extra.

Definitely will be using Cypress Street in the future and recommend George to everyone I can.

George also came yesterday and installed a new garbage disposal. He was on time and quickly installed it for me. Cypress Street Plumbing is now my go to company for all my plumbing needs.

I always get nervous when I try a company for the first time.  But I knew I made the right choice as soon as I saw the representative that was sent to my home!  He was professional, knew his stuff and got it right the first time!  It is refreshing to know that there are still companies out there that are reliable, honest and experienced!

I was recommended to them by my parents, and George was awesome! He was able to come out quickly and fix/replace both of my leaky spigots for a very reasonable price. Great guy, will definitely be using Cypress Street for all my plumbing needs going forward!

After making an offer on my first home, I needed a plumbing inspection ASAP to address concerns of a large tree in the front yard, among other items. I got an immediate appointment from George and he showed up promptly and got to business. He was very professional, clean, and detailed. He sent a camera down the pipes out to the street and the quality was perfect! He even sent the video to me to have for later views. He went through every item in the house that was addressed and was very honest with his inspection. I was very satisfied and felt confident with moving forward in the home purchase. I highly recommend George!

George just left after quickly and inexpensively repairing the water line and spigot that goes to my swamp cooler. And that's after I called him at 9am this morning (it's just 11am now). Friendly, fast, helpful and honest - what more do you need? Thanks George!

Owner George Patrick installed a new kitchen faucet for us recently, on a Saturday morning. He did not charge higher weekend rates, and he did it for about $100 less than one of the big-name plumbing companies in Phoenix Metro quoted to us, after we had them do some bathroom plumbing work in 2019.

George was friendly, worked expeditiously in a systematic and orderly way, and properly connected a rapid hot water device that had not been even connected to our old kitchen faucet that was installed by a fly-by-night contractor when we bought our condo a few years ago.

There was another, hard to define, overall factor in George's favor that I want to emphasize here. When my wife scheduled him to do the installation she was impressed by his can-do attitude and sense of fair dealing. When he and his assistant arrived to do the work, both were professionally dressed, courteous, intelligent, and task oriented with a no-nonsense manner. They cleaned up perfectly, with an eye to detail.

We now plan to rely on Cypress Street Plumbing and George's outstanding work whenever we need a plumber again. Finally, we've had many plumbers do work for us over several decades and none of them impressed us the way George did with his fairness, honesty, and competence.

George is so nice and fast, fast, fast!  I called him and within an hour he was there.  All he had to do was reset a switch and the problem was solved.  I am more than impressed!  I highly recommend George and will call him again, if needed.  Thank you, George.  Your professionalism is noted and appreciated.

We highly recommend George. He has come to our house a few times to fix plumbing leaks/pipes, clogged drains and to replace our water heater. He is responsive, efficient, honest and reasonably priced. He doesn't try to sell you anything you don't need. We feel lucky to have found him for any plumbing issues we have.

Have had George come to our house multiple times to do various jobs like install a new water line and water heater, and install a new faucet and garbage disposal for our kitchen. He always does a great job, is very reliable and does work for a good price. Would highly recommend him, and it is always great to support a small business.

Pick this one. I had a leak in the wall of my kitchen island, which he fixed in about an hour, and he was at my house within about 30 minutes after my call.

My impression of him is that he is smart, comfortable with what he does, and has an obvious sense of integrity. If I had thought up my ideal experience with having to call someone to repair a leak this experience would have topped that. Not only did he do his job well, but he was also kind enough to ask if I knew where the water shut off was, and took the time to show me and inform me how to properly take care of these things. He explained his thought processes, and the how and why of what he was doing to fix the problem. You are in good hands with George!

I was updating my kitchen and need a reliable and cost effective plumber to install a new sink and garbage disposal.  Not only was George a fantastic help in recommending good products, but he did the install for under my budget and with incredible results.  I have already referred him to a friend and will continue to send business to Cypress Street Plumbing!  I will continue to trust George with any plumbing issue that comes up in the future.

Cypress Street Plumbing is amazing!  Not only did he come within the week he also fixed the problem quickly.  He also helped to to clean my tankless water heater and how to care for it.  He answered every plumbing question I had as well.  This guy is a hard worker and cant wait to have him out to add a new water system!

George with Cypress Street Plumbing installed a toilet for us after we realized the install was going to be pretty complicated. He was on time, professional, did quality work and even lowered his quoted fee when he decided he needed to use a plastic vs. a cast iron part. We would recommend his services.

George is a great guy and he is an excellent plumber.  He installed a hot water heater in my house, which was in a closet: a really difficult situation!  I appreciate his super hard work and his patience.  Definitely call George.  He knows what he is doing and his prices are great.

George (Cypress Plumbing) is outstanding - on time, fast, and fair pricing. I highly recommend and will use in the future. You can not go wrong. The issue was at my mother's home (she is 87) and he unclogged and cleaned the lines behind her washer. She had set up with another company who would not be out for two weeks and he was out within one day. She cancelled the other company after I told her to give me a chance to find someone. Someone on nextdoor.com recommended him and said he was highly reviewed on Yelp. Sure enough yelp comes through again. Thank you George.

George is HONEST and did a great job on a two toilet installation and sink faucet hose replacement. Extremely fair pricing and trustworthy plumber. Highly recommend.

My 1926 historic home was flipped back in 2007. Badly. Cheaply. Unconscionably. I'm talking unvented plumbing, holes in pipes, missing parts, and a not-so-pleasant surprise--a cracked sewer line. It was a plumbing nightmare, and George took it all in stride.

He is honest, hardworking, knowledgable, and reliable. He knew what I needed, promptly sent me a quote, and did what needed to get done. He spent over a week in my home, repairing and replacing and rerouting every single bathroom, kitchen, and laundry pipe I have. He's respectful and clean and answered every single one of my I-have-to-know-everything-what-is-that-thing-why-are-you-doing-that questions.

I now have a brand new, fully functioning plumbing system that is finally free of gurgles, odors, bugs, and quirks. George will be my go-to plumber for years to come, and I have already recommended him to all my friends and neighbors.

As a woman, it is invaluable to feel comfortable having someone in your home for the countless hours and days it takes to get a big job done. Now, if only he also did tiling, roofing, and AC repair...

One final note: Cypress Street Plumbing was the first business I called, but I got voicemail and moved on to the next. For various reasons, I wasn't happy with the two plumbing companies who came out to give me quotes, so I followed my initial instinct, called back, and George answered the phone. You guys, he's busy because he's good. If you get voicemail, it's because he's crawling in the dirt under someone's home, fixing problems we'd rather not even think about. Leave a message. You won't regret it.

George came to our home to replace a broken kitchen sink faucet.  It was under warranty so we had the replacement from the manufacturer and only needed the install.  George quoted me a price over the phone when I made the appointment.  He was very professional and polite and I was definitely comfortable having him in my home.  Even though the work took longer than I'm sure he expected, as he had a difficult time removing the broken faucet, he still stuck by his original estimate.

I was very pleased with the service and would definitely highly recommend George and will not hesitate to call him again in the future.

Cypress Street did an awesome job and George is nice guy as well. Never realized he lived one street over all these years. He repaired a pipe in our bathroom, great service, excellent work couldn't ask for more....Thanks George!!

Complaints. That's what you often hear about most plumbing companies.  They take forever to get there. The quote is way too high. They leave muddy tracks around your house. They're gruff and unfriendly.  This is NOT Cypress Street Plumbing! They are quick and polite with reasonable prices, and they CAN fix your problem. It's like a plumber who actually likes their job!  

I no longer live in Phoenix, but when I did, George at Cypress Street fixed every plumbing issue I ever had. He can really do it all.  I once saw him successfully replace a gas water heater in less time than it took me make dinner!

For real, give your business to someone who will both appreciate it AND fix your plumbing issue with a smile.

We had George re-plumb our entire house. Was so professional and did a fantastic job. I would recommend him for any work you need done in your home.

My hot water heater broke at my shop and I needed to fix it pronto.  I called a couple places (Home Depot and Lowes) and got price quotes for hot water heaters and replacement labor costs and then went on yelp to see if I could find a plumber with a good reputation that charged fair prices.

I called Cypress Street plumbing at about 2:30pm today and spoke with George.  I told him where I was located and he said he could come right over.  Within 30 minutes George had made it to my place, diagnosed the problem, and was on his way to pick up a new water heater to install.  By 4:30pm, he had removed the old water heater,  installed the new water heater, and had the whole place cleaned up like nothing ever happened.  He didn't charge a service charge to come out and diagnose the problem and he warranties the work that he does.

George did a great job and really seemed like he knew what he was doing.  Everything is working perfectly now.  He was friendly and professional.  His cost was a little less than the quotes I got from Home depot and Lowes.  It was easy breezy working with him and I would recommend him.  Yay! I think I just found a plumber that I would call again!
