I called this company up thinking I needed a new ignition, he came within an hour and simply unlocked my ignition. he could have charged me for a new ignition but he did the right thing and gave me a good deal for coming out. Tom was as good as ever! All my new door fixtures are beautiful, and now I can rest easy again. The lock on my front door was sticking so badly that I had to wrestle with it for a good two minutes before it would finally open. That was a hazard waiting to happen (god forbid there was a fire/emergency and I couldn't get the door open). Tom's work is always A+ work, I'm so happy with it. We had two key fobs for our vehicle go out within a week of each other and needed two new ones ordered and programmed ASAP. Tim was direct about being wary of purchasing cheap knockoffs on Ebay and recommended Amazon which we used as we have Prime and received them within 2 days. He was upfront, honest, and exceedingly fair regarding the pricing of both programming and cutting both of our new keys. Great communication and extremely fast completion of the work with absolutely no hidden costs or surprises. He communicated when he was in his way, got here when promised, quickly diagnosed the problem with my garage door lock and fixed it right up. Reasonable prices. What more could you ask from a locksmith?

Nathan came out to a dirt road in the middle of nowhere after I locked my keys in my car, and had me on my way very quickly. This was on Sunday night, and the other two locksmiths that my wife called didn't answer their phones. I hope I never lock my keys in my car again, but knowing myself, it's going to happen, and I'll call the same place.

My wife and I just bought a house in the area and have had a tough time getting our locks fixed. With a lot of going back and forth from Ace, Lowes, and Home Depot we decided to give Mike a shot. His shop was closed on the weekend, but he took service calls. I gave him a time between 10-11. He showed up at around 10:15 which was perfect! It only took him about an hour to finish 5 Locks. His quote was reasonably priced and took a check, which worked out great for us. I recommend his services and I will be using him again if needed.

I have not dealt with North Valley before. I drove to the shop thinking they were open, but they were closed. I left a brief message. David called back within 3 minutes explaining that he was under the weather (why the shop was closed), asked me what I needed, and proceeded to give me instructions on the likely solution to my problem. He was very pleasant, and helpful.
I returned home, followed his directions, and managed to fix my lock problem.
I am very impressed with David's sense of putting the customer first, without any probable financial return. KUDOS!

The owner himself, Gary Sachs, came by to re-key all my doors.  I met Gary last fall at a Realtor event and he explained how he runs his business with integrity and fair pricing.  When I called, I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours!  Gary was on time for our appointment and very courteous.  He worked quickly and was very neat and clean.  He made sure all the new keys worked before he left.  I recommend Downtown Locksmith to anyone who needs an honest, dependable and reliable locksmith.  I will definitely use him again the next time I need a locksmith!

Fast and Efficent
Requested a quote and a few days later, he came to change my locks on my front door and rekey my back.  I had bought these expensive locks and the deadbolt ended up being defective. He expressed that the locks I have are extremely great locks and I should just get my money back and not worry about changing them.  I agreed. He repackaged it nicely and I just rekeyed that lock.  He saved me $155 by returning that lock.  I was happy about that.  Very cool guy.  Highly recommend, Ricky

Well, they did it again!
Nick was the technician that came to rekey the locks on the new property. I switched it up and decided to have the knobs and locks replaced on three doors...he didn't flinch. Nick went right into action and he did an excellent job. Nick also was able to create extra keys for me onsite!

It is such a relief to know you can depend on this company whether you live in Scottsdale, Phoenix or Mesa they show up on time every time.

Needed a floor safe drilled and a new lock mechanism installed.  They immediately responded on yelp yesterday and set up an install today.  The tech was on time, got the job done quickly and with no mess and the cost was less than the estimate, which is pretty unusual.  I will absolutely use this company again.  Great job.
