Doug was on time and did a great job on our drywall repairs and painting!  Price was reasonable and work was professionally done in a timely manner.  We would highly recommend him!

We used Atelier507 to remodel the tiling of our master bathroom shower, add a niche, and update the water fixtures. Throughout the entire process, they were very responsive, provided 3D renderings of what the final look would be and would update the renderings for any detail we want to add/remove/adjust. Atelier507 also provided progress photos during and after the project. They did an excellent job and were very professional. We are very satisfied with the final look of our shower. I highly recommend using them!

Quinton and Urban Element did a great job on our Kitchen/house in Tempe. I would highly recommend.

White Builder - Ellen and her team are fantastic! The team that they have are professional, talented, and really care about your project. Our kitchen remodel was a challenge, but they met it head on and worked their magic- it's beautiful. They take pride in the work they do and it shows. Q is literally the best handy man ever. Ever since the first day I hired him, he has tackled all of the crazy random jobs I've thrown at him quickly and professionally. I don't even feel right calling him a handy man as he is way more than that! On top all of that, he's super sweet. I will miss him and all of his amazing work when he leaves California. Damn you Arizona for stealing Q from us!!

My regular handymen were out of town for the holiday. My second option was to use an alternative contractor but they were booked for two months. The third option was to use Dream Builder. They came out, review the list of items, gave us a pricey quote and said they weren't able to start until after the holiday. At that point, I should've said no thank you and wait for our handymen. Instead, we moved forward with Dream Builder.

Overall, they did a poor job. One of the two guys shouldn't be in this business. He didn't know how to sand or stain wood. Both were done against the grain. In addition, he used all the stain as if it was paint. I had to strip it, resand and restain. Oh, money well spent....

As for Elvis, he didn't texture the wall and, when we asked, he told us that it'll look textured once the paint dried. Are you kidding me?! You can see that it's not textured when it's wet.

One positive thing out of this job was finding out a wire was dead so we asked Elvis to ground it to be safe.

I called Aqua Therapy to get an estimate on a shower kit remodel.  I talked with Derek, and he was extremely professional and sent over an estimate pretty quickly.  After receiving the estimate, I called him to discuss what options would save money.  He quickly sent me a new estimate and we scheduled a date for him to come out.  The job came out perfect.  I can definitely say that Derek is a man of his word, his reliability and service were well above par.  His costs were in-line with what was quoted.  I am planning to hire him for my next shower remodel.

Does great work in a timely fashion. Knowledgeable and willing to fix work that you may not be entirely satisfied with. Had him do a couple of electrical projects and did a great job.

Derren is amazing!! He's honest and hard working. Simply put, he's the best. I will be using him for any project I possibly can!! His stone work is impeccable. I am a perfectionist and he is so detail oriented that he met every one of my expectations.

I highly recommend Jacquie for all things remodeling and interior design. Exterior design too! I first enlisted her help when I was considering a major remodel. I wanted to combine 3 rooms into one large open space as a kitchen and dining area.

​Using an online 3D rendering tool, Jacquie modeled ideas for the layout and decor of the space. Seeing what it could look like, to scale, was absolutely necessary for me to make the decision to go for it.

​She worked tirelessly with me for months, advising me on every aspect of this project from selecting a GC to selecting flooring, paint, architectural tile, window placement, exterior changes related to window changes, granite, you name it she helped me with it! Making such large purchases would have been more stressful than fun, but with her expert guidance and the education she freely gave me along the way, I knew I would love the end result. That peace of mind was priceless.

She was also a joy to work with. Her positive energy was contagious, and her level-headed management was reassuring. She ever mindful of my budget and has the experience to know where spending more really matters and where it does not.

​One last thing that might surprise you! 90% of the time we spent together was done over video calls and text! Jacquie flew in during the final stage of work to work with the GC on final touches and to make sure everything was as it should be. Virtual consulting is wonderfully convenient and efficient!

I have used The Scottsdale Handyman for years. When I used to own rental properties all I did was call Eddie & give him the info about the particular problem &  the contact info on a tenant & Eddie would take it from there. The work was done in a timely manner & never had a complaint about his lack of professionalism or his manners. From installing a water heater to hanging pictures. From fixing irrigation to installing toilet & such, Eddie can do it all. I have found that there is no job too small or too large for The Scottsdale Handyman!

I contacted Geremey due to an aging roof that was in desperate need of repair. I contacted 3 different companies, all who wanted me to wait for a few weeks just for them to come out. With the rain we've had, I couldn't wait that long. Geremey was very responsive and understood my needs. He came out that afternoon and had the job done quicker than I anticipated. My neighbor is a home inspector and he even said this is one of the best roofs I've seen. Clayton promptly responded the same day to our request for consultation and quote on the replacement of a pergola shade structure. He was very personable and pleasantly discussed multiple options for layout and materials. His quote was detailed and thorough. He leveraged a 5 man crew for the job in the interest of getting the job done professionally and in a timely manner. All the guys on his crew were great. We felt as if this group was taking care of us as they would their own families. They even cleaned the worksite cleaner than they found it. We will definitely call on Gusto Construction again and highly recommend them!

They didn't show up after we agreed on the date and time. I didn't find out until I asked my Tennant if the issues were addressed. He said he didn't even call or text to let him know he wouldn't show. He also had my number and didn't call or text.

August 24,2019 Signed SW Restoration contract and cut a sizable deposit check for a bathroom remodel project that Was to start 8 weeks later. With a completion date of November 8th (guaranteed with $500 credit if not completed on time-per contract)Not hearing form Jerry, I reached out to him shortly before agreed to start date. It was then I was informed Jerry was pushing back start date another 7 weeks. Waiting nearly 3 months to get a project started was too much for me to accept, so I let him know I needed to go with another contractor and needed my deposit returned. That was 2 1/2weeks ago and I'll I'm getting is excuses, about why I don't have my money. Horrible experience!

I'm pleased to report, Jerry came through on his promise to refund my deposit. I felt it important I update my previous post, with this new information. Jerry is a man of his word! Not something you can say about all contractors.
