Seem to be nice enough people. But after having them come out and measure my patio doors, waiting a week and never hearing from anyone, I spent three weeks calling them numerous times to send me a quote. First they said lost my patio door measurements and kept saying they would call me back when I kept calling. Which never happened. I finally said scratch my original measurements, let's get scheduled again to measure, and suddenly they found my measurements. They had promised me a bit of a discount for having to chase them around for the last few weeks and said they would call me back today to let me know the discount. Unfortunately no one called me.

We had them replace our springs in a window that went bad. They came in with the best price and I scheduled them for a week out. We had a change in our plans and asked them if they could come that day. They called me back and said they will have somebody out within the hour. Fantastic!

I hired this company three months ago to do my windows at my house came and install the windows. I called them for the screen doors and a handle for the Kaseeta sliding door. They never showed up. I called them three times they stood me up I would never recommend this company to anyone.

I had an issue with the customer service on my job. (see below). Upon seeing my review, I received a follow-up call from the owner of the company. He looked into the matter and called me directly. He was very gracious and assured me that his company strives for the best in customer service and customer satisfaction. He lives by his word about customer service and making the customer happy. He and his company really are as good as I had been told. Thank you Universal Glass for the great job on my window, following up and for the great customer service and satisfaction. I now feel comfortable in recommending you to others who need glass and window repairs.

I received 3 different quotes from this same company for the same job. Each sequential quote was higher than the previous quote. My 3rd quote was $230 higher than the original quote. I questioned their estimating charges because the final quote included double the labor charge of my first quote. Their answer amounted to lame excuses.

I would not recommend this company due to their shady business and pricing tactics. I really expected them to do the right thing and charge me the correct amount for the labor. If I did this to my customers at my business I would not have any customers left.

these people are the absolute worst. from there customer service and lack of communication. i called lowerys on 5/16/22 called to get some questions ansered and a quote. two days later stil no call. so on 5/19/22 i took the time to take the window down to them myself. this was approximately 10am. the young lady that helped me said that they would get with a technician and call me back immediately. well once again they didnt even bother to call me. so after two days and the weekend passing, i had to call them. so on monday 5/23/22 i had to call once again. no apologies just excuses but i finally got a quote from them for $400.00. absolutely outragious. you can get a brand new one at home depot for half the price. dont waste your time with this company.

Good experience. With window installation . The nightmare began when we ordered two front doors. We ordered two Masonite Vista Grande 24 inch wide glass doors. One with fir texture and rain glass for the main front door. To be painted red upon arrival. I have several emails and text, Jackson Glass assured me we were getting 24 inch wide glass not standard 22. I even gave them photos. The second door was to be the same door with clear Lowe glass and smooth finish. This door was supposed to match another door that is located on the same patio. To no ones fault, the order was delayed due to Covid. While we waited, I told the company I wanted to order the door hardware. Jason, the installer told me that they could get me schlage locks at a discount. I met with his wife at my home for almost an hour giving her part number and photos of the hardware. I was I was out of town when the doors arrived. We were told right off that the supplier had messed up and we did not get the fir texture on the front door. Ok we accepted it since we waited so long.

I came home to a messed up paint job and the hardware was a brand I never heard of. So the factory messed up and to be fair the installer had with the paint due to the heat. They still have not explained why they wasted my Saturday morning picking out hardware I never got and why the hardware they gave us was installed crooked. Ok it happens. So In an effort to speed things up, my husband and I agreed to accept the front door with the rain glass provided the paint was corrected and they installed hardware we purchased. All they had to do is get one, just ONE door right, the patio. They could not do that either. The patio door I received was the correct 24 inch. However, once again someone messed up. Instead of clear glass I got frosted, instead of smooth finish I got fir. I how have two miss matched doors on my patio and the deadbolt is crooked. I am done with excuses. There supplier issues are their problem. We did not get ANY of the doors ordered 5 months ago. I was told the red front door has been repainted. We have been patient and understanding with this mess. We have told them to reinstall the newly painted red door and send us the correct patio door. We don't now how this will end but based in our experience , we have very little confidence. Im giving them one month to make this right. If not, we will be forced to file a complaint with the BBB and ROC.. I will have no choice but to use the balance I owe them to hire someone else to finally finish this mess This company had great recommendations however my husband and I cannot recommend them after our experience so far. I purchased a 12 X 36 window to replace an old aluminum window above our shower. They told me it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get the window. After 3 weeks I was contacted and they told me that it would be installed on Friday, 9/23. The office manager, Kelli told me the installer would be there about 10:30 am. I waited until 2:50 pm, when Kelli called and said their installer got tied up. She asked if they could reschedule for the following Thursday or Friday. I told her I had an appointment on Thursday, but Friday worked well. She told me I would be first on his list. On Wednesday I got an email to call Kelli. I phoned her and she asked if their installer could come on Thursday, 9/29. I explained that my appointment had been rescheduled and I was available on Thursday. I asked if I would be first on his list? Kelli said yes, that he needed to pick up some doors but should be at my house by 10:30 am. On Thursday I waited until 1:10 pm, without the installer showing up. I called the office and got their voicemail. I left a message that their installer had not showed, and requested she call me back. I got no return call. At 4 pm I called again and got their message machine again. I again told them that their installer had not arrived and requested a call back. Again, no return call.
On Friday 9/30 at 8:45 am their installer arrived. He replaced the window and left. I went to their office to pay the balance. Kelli handled the transaction without any word of the previous day's messages.
It appears that if you have a small order, you are put in limbo. Common courtesy would be to call me back and explain the situation.

You shouldn't waste your time. Called and said they would come Saturday. No show, no call. Came another day 30 minutes early, because it was convenient for them. Said they would install Saturday. No Show, no call. Called and they said they were busy finishing another job. Would come Monday. Monday came- no call, no show.
I give up. Must be a side job because they really don't care about their customers, or their business.

I had an appointment with Jonathon to come give me an estimate to replace all the glass in the windows at my home. His company has a Gilbert address and I am in Chandler. He missed our appointment and whwn I called him to remind him he had an appointment with me he at first didnt know who I was. Then after I told him he acted like of course he remembers and he said he would be another half hour because he was stuck in traffic. Baloney!! I told him to forget it and tthat I dont want to do business with him.

On the stop and $85 later we have a working window. He could have easily got the more expensive route - but didn't, and I think that says a lot about him! Thanks M

I reached out through Thumbtack to Prostar Doors regarding my double doors to my master bedroom not locking. The flush mount wasn't working properly and hadn't for years.
On April 13th, Ray, messaged me asked for my location, phone number and notified me someone would be contacting me to set up a time to view the job.
After some back and forth with Susie, we settled on an appointment for Friday, April 17 between 10 am - 12. John showed up and said they would need to replace the astragal on the door along with a new flush bolt mount. The quote was for $875.00. I put down a payment for $437.50 with the balance to paid at install, which was set-up for Wednesday, April 23, 2020.
Today, April 20th, I called to move my Wednesday appointment to later in the day and Susie informed me, Tanner would be stopping by to look at the door and see if any if the astragal samples they had would work.
Tanner texted me at 2:30 pm and said he was about 25 minutes out. Tanner showed up about 3 pm. He came in, took one look at the door and he said do you mind if I take out the flush bolt? Told him, not at all. Within minutes he said, your door is fine, the flush bolt is adjustable and had just fallen. He said I will put caulk on the seams so it doesn't move again and you will be all set. He said I will notify the office of the change and then they can just charge you the $80 service fee. He was in and out of our home in less than 15 minutes. We now have locking doors!
Susie called at 3:30 pm and said she had heard from Tanner. Susie went on to explain, they do charge a $300 service fee and would refund the difference. I was NEVER quoted a $300 fee just to step inside my home. If I had been, I would have said NO. This amount is ridiculous!
I appreciate Tanner's honesty and fixing our door with no hassle. I am not sure why he wasn't sent out to begin with. I am contacting cooperate.

I had a very scary interaction with two men driving one of the company trucks in Tempe. They engaged in serious reckless driving and unprovoked road rage. At one point they had almost ran me off the road into oncoming traffic. I cannot vouch for how good their work is but if their employees behave like that on the road, then I would never let them close to my family or my property. If driving is a part of the job, especially in a company marked truck, you need to consider training your employees in the rules of the road (no swerving, tailgating, stopping in the middle of the intersections, SPEEDING, proper use of signals, etc.) I witnessed all of this behavior in the short time I shared the road with them. Shocked and disappointed.
