Best Residential Project in Phoenix AZ

Well all the good things we read and heard about this company were true. They did an excellent job on our roof. They were here when they said they would be here. They cleaned up after themselves every day. The customer service and workmanship was excellent.

My wife and I have been Zonies for almost 20 years now.  At least two of the things we learned over those years were Arizona roofs are different and home contractors (in general) can't be trusted. It's sad to say, really, really sad,  but a quick search on tha AZ Contractors Registration Site will show you thousands upon thousands of unregistred and scamming contractors that have been caught in the act. And thats not to show you those that have yet to be uncovered.
So, with that consideration in mind, we did some research and found Arizona Roofing Systems to be highly recommended, licensed, and free of complaints.  And to top it off they are on The Home Depot list of 'suggested' roofing contractors in our part of the East Valley. That does not mean they work for the HD, or even use HD products; but they are referred by HD and HD keeps track of their record. A big plus!  Just like YELP!
So far, they answered the inquiry quickly, showed up for the estimate exactly on time looking and sounding like a professional contractor. Todd (the estimator) answered all the questions properly and (with a huge consideration for sticker shock on our part) gave a fair estimate and a logical starting time.
So, as a long ago retired east coast roofer myself (from an era when ladders were made of wood) and an avid YELPER........we will certainly keep you all posted on how the job goes. From estimated starting time to actual starting time to finish time,  helpers, cleanup and quality of work.  K?

..2nd report:  They were actually one week ahead of their promised arrival schedule. That was a big plus because we are getting the house painted on the inside and we wanted to repair the ceiling ( from a leak) before the painters came. And with Monsoons peaking around the San Tans it was double important. So here they are, the whole crew neat and very, very professional working in the blazing sun and baking heat. They did a beautiful job with all the edges and keys lining up and without too much booming and ruckus. Cleanup was perfect and bushes and grass all left in good shape.
Now, lets wait for a rain......

My husband and I just moved to a house in Phoenix and it needed a new roof. We chose Almeida based on their quote and how professional they were in person and on the phone. I was picky about the roof colors and they invited me to come by their office to look at the samples and even encouraged me to take some home and keep them for reference. They came out less (price-wise) than the competitors we called and did an excellent job. It probably took them about 15 hours to do our roof over two days. They cleaned up our yard nicely afterwards and were very respectful - didn't leave trash or litter. The foreman on the job was super nice and easy to talk to. I would recommend Almeida.

We had Estrella roofing repair the tile roof (missing tiles, a leak in the front) and replace the patio cover roof.  Estrella gave a competitive estimate and did a great job!

Shane has been taking care of my roof for over 7 years. Unlike other roofers, he has repaired the leaks rather than trying to sell me a new roof I don't need. In every case, he responded to my calls promptly, arrived on time and completed the repairs during his initial inspection, always at a very fair price. He even stopped a problem with woodpeckers banging on my metal roof protrusions at 5am.
After 18 years, a portion of the roof needed replaced. As always, he arrived as promised and completed the replacement the NEXT DAY! I give Shane and The Roofing Company my highest recommendation.

There's a reason this company has a 5-star rating! We called multiple companies to determine if we needed a roof repair. Express Roofing came to our home and provided the most detailed explanation of our roof issues/concerns. The company is family owned, and you can tell from the minute you call to set-up a free estimate. The owner and his son came to our home and provided the estimate. They spent a great deal of time looking over our roof and patio roof. They took video and still shots of our roof and provided both to us, so we could better understand the areas of concern with our roof. The video had commentary, which helped us better understand what should be included in a roof repair. Express Roofing was not the cheapest of our estimates, but genuinely appreciated the time they took to explain the issues with our roof and the integrity of their employees. They communicated with us frequently, the job site staff were courteous, professional and on-time (EVERY day). The crew thoroughly cleaned-up their mess each day to prevent our children and pets from being injured. A drone was flown over our home 1/2 way through the repair and after completion of the job. Rene (the owner) takes pride in his craftsmanship and company, and it shows. We cannot recommend Express Roofing enough. Well worth every penny, to have peace of mind!

Dean and his crew are awesome! After some recent storms we discovered a bad leak in our very old roof and knew we were going to have to get a whole new roof. We started bidding out the project, meeting with multiple roofers and not only did Dean have the best numbers but we were also able to get the entire exterior painted as well! And not only was the pricing great but I was told it would take a week and a half to 2 weeks to do ALL of the work which sounded great (again an entire roof, a ton of wood replaced, completely painted, an entire exterior makeover!) so imagine how even better it was when they started Monday and were pretty much done on Friday!! Amazing!! These guys deserve more than 5 stars!!

Wow!! Thank you for installing my new roof!! The roofers were extremely respectful, communicative, and reliable. They stuck to the timeline we agreed upon and pricing was comparable to other companies. The difference with this company, that I haven't seen before, is there ability to communicate. With each step/day they asked if I had any concerns or questions and updated me on what was being done next. For me, I like to know what's going on and what time someone is going to show up... the worse part about other companies I've used is the lack of reliability and communication. Other companies just come and go as they please... playing loud inappropriate music, and not cleaning up after themselves. Truvo (Brad) was a breath of fresh air!! Thank you for taking such a big stress item off my mind!

After communicating Chris from Mr PhxIt returned today 9/6 as we scheduled!  Chris replaced the newly fallen roof tile.  He did reglue pigeon spikes (these were the 2 main concerns of mine).  Additionally, Chris did glue an entire extra row of spikes (not there initially) to keep the birds from roosting at the entry door.  All in all, Chris PhxIt did my roof repairs, tune up, and return visit for a successful job.  Thanks, Chris.

From start to finish this was a professional transaction.  Arrow is not one of the just passing through roofing businesses.   They have been in Prescott Valley for many years.   They have a nice office here with very helpful friendly staff.  They did a quick  professional job and we were very thrilled with the result.

These guys have done 10 commercial projects for me. Great workmanship, Good service, very knowledgeable. Family oriented company. I worked with Steve Jr mostly, but Steve Sr also helped out at times. They were on time, and came highly recommended, and now I'm highly recommending them!

Alison, the owner of Paragon Exteriors, made the experience of re-roofing my house easy. From beginning to end, Alsion arranged everything from the estimate and thorough explanation of costs to roof and gutter replacement, handling all interactions with the roofers--as well as dealing with my insurance company! Her crew was on time and finished the job on schedule. When Alison was finished, my yard was immaculate and could not even tell that any work had been done! She was professional and expeditious in her handling of all phases of my roof replacement. I would highly recommend Alison and Paragon Exteriors.

Had Jimmy out with Thompson Brothers Roofing and he and his crews did a full roof replacement for us back in May (underlayment and tile). Jimmy is like the uncle you never had. He's super responsive, always answers your calls and works with you to get a fair price for your roof repair/replacement. Highly recommended if you want someone who won't swindle you into paying the highest price just because of the pandemic. And someone who doesn't sacrifice workmanship because of price. You will have to wait for tile/materials however since that's just the way to world is these days.

We love our new paint job and our 26 year old home has never looked better. The crew worked quickly and efficiently and completed the job in a day and a half. The few minor issues we noticed were corrected immediately. They even took down a pigeon block I had erected at the crest of the roof when I was much younger. They painted it the new colors and returned it at minimal additional cost. We couldn't be happier with the cost and results and would recommend this company to everyone.

So glad I called Paul at Sunland. Recently purchased an older ranch home with an original clay tile roof. Paul came out explained everything, was very knowledgeable and offered a clear plan and estimate for the work. Kept me up to date on the schedule and finished as planned. The crew was diligent and thorough, and cleaned up well after themselves. Roof looks great and should go another 40 years. Highly recommended.

Ky-Ko Roofing did an excellent job with our tile roof. Their team was a pleasure to work with. They started as scheduled and finished on time. The team members are experienced roofers. For our tile roof, they first removed the tiles, removed old underlayment, replaced plywood as needed, put down new underlayment, replaced two skylights, then placed the original tiles back down and even included one section of new tiles. I highly recommend this contractor!

Got a new roof with this so call roof company by them coming around and offering their services by using our insurance claim.  They installed the new roof in July 2022 and of course no rain but come the rains in October, we notice water coming through the ceiling.  I contacted their office and they were so extremely rude and kept giving me excuses on why it's not their problem.  It's definitely their problem because we never had a leak not even on the old roof.  But now we have a leak on the roof.  Anyways I have tried to contact them and they are just hard to work with.  They are super friendly till they get their money and then their true colors do come out.  Now we just had more rain in December 2022 on now we noticed other locations that are leaking.  The work looks very mediocre for sure.  I would suggest for anyone to stay away from this company and get a more reputable company that stands by their work.  My email is      [email protected]
