Express Roofing

Recently we needed to replace the 35 year old roof on our Mesa home. We contacted several roofing companies and settled on Express Roofing. Several considerations figured into our decision on Expressive Roofing. Their sales representative responded the next day after we contacted. After sending out a field inspector to view the roof a repair cost was developed. Because of seasonal rains approaching a replacement date was agreed on. The express crew stocked materials, stripped the old roof and performed the replacement ahead of schedule. The are was always kept clean of debris.
The materials used were exceptional quality and after completion the new roof and trim looked great.
So in closing we can only say Cost was fair, crews were efficient, materials were top quality and final experience was superb. Thank you Rene, Jeremy, Jenna and all the team at Express Roofing

Rene, Jeremy, Jenna and their crew were all wonderful to work with. Jeremy's estimate process included videos and photos of the current condition of our roof. He took the time to explain the details of their process. The estimate was clearly laid out and very thorough, and competitively priced. There were no hidden charges or fees, and they even gave us a credit for unused materials that were included in the estimate. The roofing team were such a pleasure to work with. Given the nature of how messy this job can be, they worked to ensure that our yard and pool were protected and cleaned up at the end of each day. They took the time to answer questions as the project unfolded. Rene came out each day and took video footage with a drone to give us status on their progress, and even the final project completion. That was extremely helpful and unique to this company. They take ownership of the roof after the job and if we have any other contractors on the roof for any reason Express will come back out and check the condition of the roof as part of their warranty coverage.
We highly recommend this company for any roof work. They were all a pleasure to work with and it was clear to us they truly love what they do and value their client relationships.

Rene and his team of family and professionals completed our roof remodel when we purchased our home in Ahwastuckee in 2018.  Excellent job!.  Here is an update.  We recently had Sun Valley Solar install solar panels on our new roof.  Before they began work I called Express Roofing and explained to Jeremy that I would like for him to review the solar installation since we have a 25-year warranty from Express.  Jeremey showed up last Saturday and inspected the work and noted that the installation was excellent and the warranty would remain in effect.  When I asked Jeremey how much I needed to pay for his inspection his reply was you are considered part of our family since you hired and you trusted us to complete your roofing remodel.   WOW!   Now that is customer service!!!  This company is AWESOME.  Highly recommend.

The estimator came out and I handed him the insurance company's list of repairs needed and their cost estimate.   I specifically asked him if he could do this job and he said, yes.  His estimate, instead, was for $4,400 more, which included many more items than the insurance required.  When I told him that, he just wanted to argue about it.  Apparently, the company will not work with insurance company requirement

We found we needed our roof repaired when we noticed the patio cover was disconnecting from our roof/house.  Called three companies.  One stood out, Express Roofing.   Jeremy was prompt for his appointment and provided a detailed estimate with an interesting video.  When I did need to ask questions Jenna was very friendly and helpful.  Always got my concerns addressed.  Their crew was delayed by a day but they worked very hard and full days.  Finished ahead of schedule.  Rene, the owner, was here often, checking on the work and communicating with us.  They were awesome!  I would highly recommend them any time.  Very pleased with the finished product.  Can't say enough about their work and work ethics.  Awesome job guys!  Thank you!

We bought a home and found out after closing that the roof leaked and need to be replaced. There was 2 layers of roofing material on our roof which increased the cost of replacing it. Express roofing staff, Jeremy, Jenna, and the owner, Rene were so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, understanding, and their roofing staff .. all of them were very professional, hardworking, and considerate of our property. We gutted our home and of all the contractors we have had here over the last 3 month, Rene's team was the cleanest. They did a fantastic job of making sure our exterior was left prestine. Thank you to everyone and I will be recommending them, highly, to anyone.

Additionally: the owner, Rene, takes a drone video of the work about midway through so you can see how thorough the workmanship is.

I called to request a bid and got their voicemail, it has been two weeks now and I still haven't heard back from them. I will take that as an omen.
Disappointing!

We called because we had a tile break off our roof.  We only needed the one tile replaced.  After the guy left (took pictures), the company called and scheduled the replacement.  We wanted to know the cost and they said it was free.  During this time, we knew a new roof was not on the table, but when the time comes we will definitely consider this company.  The guy who came to fix the roof did check to see if there was any other damage that would need to be fixed (one other area) and he fixed that one as well.  I was worried they would fix the roof and then charge us.  He didn't.  I was quite impressed with them.

We had a new roof put on by Exoress Roofing in May 2020.
Amit the owner came by and explained everything to us. He did a very good job and returned anytime we had anything that we felt might have been overlooked..

Company focused on speed vs quality. Picked up a trash can lid full of nails and metal after job completely. Took me 15 mins with a push magnet. They supposedly did this but somehow missed 5 pounds of sharp metal.

Once you pay them good luck getting anyone to respond back if you have issues. First issue took me 3 months after countless texts and calls. 2nd issue I gave up after another 3 months. Always too busy

1.5 years later I hired another roofer to replace the flashing that Express didn't replace because the house was newer than 1920. Despite it looking like garbage I was never given the option to replace. I got sick of looking at it and found someone to fix it. 3 roofers have never heard of leaving flashing when you're getting a new roof. Penny wise and pound foolish.

Would recommend this company for a house flip but would not for your personal residence. Better to pay a little more for better quality work.

Had an absolutely outstanding experience using Express Roofing to get a new cedar roof on my older historic neighborhood home.  From calling/working initially with Jeremy for estimate logistics, thorough follow up proposal sent by Jenna, personal pre-start assessment by the owner Rene and great on the ground project execution daily from foreman Ricardo/team.  In addition, creating a really personal touch through regular communications, developing an online photo album and drone videos around the progress of my home project.  I can't say enough great things and highly recommend Express Roofing.  I particularly appreciate the care for customer this company exhibits and attention to quality.  Express Roofing really did an outstanding job.  Thank you!!

We are thoroughly impressed with Express Roofing and would recommend them to anyone, knowing the high-quality work they provide.  They uphold extremely high standards and expect their staff to consistently comply with those standards.
We solicited several quotes prior to choosing Express Roofing to replace our roof.  It was easy to decide upon the vendor once we listened to Express Roofing's presentation. They pride themselves on their customer service, quality, and timeliness of their work.  They substantiated their work with consistent reviews.  The pricing was very competitive.
We were given a quote, which included a thorough explanation of the entire job.   All our questions were answered.
It is paramount that we highlight the integrity demonstrated by this company.  One example was that we wanted to use a credit card to pay for the work to take advantage of our points. They apprised us that there was a small fee to do that.  While we were reviewing our alternative, the office manager knowing what we were trying to do, offered a reduction on the credit card rate which allowed us to use the credit card.
Rene, Jeremy, and the team at Express Roofing were FANTASTIC!  Jeremy went above and beyond throughout the planning process.  He told us about homes they had done work on nearby so we could view them if we wanted to do so.  Jeremy and Rene Palomino  (the owner) were prompt and even provided us with additional questions we should be asking of prospective contractors.  We quickly saw their expertise and knew we would receive a quality installation.
We were extremely pleased with the owner, Rene.  He was always available and would physically check in every day to ensure  everything was being done in accordance with their standards and/or  to see if we needed clarification on anything.  He answered every question we had and provided an excellent explanation at the homeowner's level.  During the actual installation process, Rene always kept us informed and provided us  with daily updates.
The crews showed every day in a timely manner and were courteous to us and each other. They were willing to accommodate us if we needed to put the dogs out for a quick break.  They were professional and efficient. With other vendors, we have seen some employees who often didn't seem to be doing their share of the work.  We never saw that with Express Roofing.
Express Roofing packs so much value into their work.  They upgraded vents and fixed a few mistakes the home builder made initially. Pictures and videos were great to see as the job was quoted, started and finished. They have used drones to fly over the house while they were working so we could see what was being done.
Every step of the way, we found every employee of Express Roofing to be  professional, courteous, and responsive.  When they finished the job, they left our property in great shape.
We can't recommend Express Roofing enough.  They are the epitome of great customer service, quality installations, and integrity.

My husband & had the pleasure of working with Rene & his team on some roof repair & freshening up the look to our fascia. We told them we were in the process of sprucing up our house in order to put it on the market & had some shingles that needed to be replaced. They were so quick to respond & reasonably priced we decided to ask about the fascia. Rene & Jeff went into great detail about the process & even provides us a demo video so we could visualized the quality.

Our house looks great!!! The shingles match the existing roof almost flawlessly, regardless of the weathering on the rest of the roof. And the fascia looks completely different, like brand new fascia.

My neighbor employed Express Roofing a year or two ago. She said she was satisfied with the work and this recommendation led me to schedule an appointment for an estimate. Joe phoned me ahead of the appointed time to say he was on his way. He arrived promptly, inspected and photographed the flat roof and the ceiling area where I first noticed indication of a leak. He then showed me the photos and, after discussion about repair materials I requested a written estimate. I received that later the same day. I called the office about 5 days later to schedule a date for the work to be done but there has been no response to my request.  There is no excuse for this discourteous and disrespectful treatment.

too popular or understaffed and therefore too slow to respond, takes them multiple weeks just to come out and estimate or inspect. Had quotes from four other roofing cos before there guy was even scheduled to come look. Considering that lag time I would hate to see how long before the job starts.

We had a very favorable experience with Rene, Jenna, Jeremy, and Ricardo, our Express Roofing team. From my first contact, they responded in a timely manor and communicated often all along our process. Competitively priced and very qualified, I always felt taken care of and felt assured Rene was watching over our job. In early, done as fast as possible and looks amazing! Just had Rene and his crew replace our roof. First and formost, I can't say enough good things about these guys. I did alot of research before choosing them and was so happy I did. They were very competitively priced, the job they did was outstanding and attention to details was impeccable.  They used the highest quality materials, they replaced all hip and ridge boards and any facia boards that needed it. They color matched and painted facia boards, etched, primed and painted all flashing and roof vents. These guys do alot of the extra things at no extra cost. Again, I can't say enough about how pleased I was with the job they did. If you are looking to have your roof replaced, give Express Roofing a call, you won't be sorry.

Express Roofing redid our original (1988) tile roof, including all new tile, in March 2018.  Rene, the owner, is as passionate about roofing as Giada is about Italian cooking.  Rene has been in the business a long time and I would not hesitate to say he knows as much or more about tile roofs as anyone in the business.  Express's estimate included many extras that the other four companies that provided estimates did not, so check the details carefully.  I liked, too, the fact that Rene did not want any money down until the day work started.  That was a big plus for me.

I give 5-stars for the quality of workmanship.  Everything went exceptionally well and our roof remains as leak free as ever and looks very up-to-date.  I could not be more pleased.

I give 3-stars for the administrative follow-up.  Although touted as one of their strengths, daily drone videos did not happen.  I did not receive a video until some time after the job was complete.

It took a long time to get our warranty paperwork, both for Express's labor coverage and the underlayment material manufacturer's warranty.  I finally got Express's warranty after about a month and several e-mails.   More e-mails over several months to Express's office about the underlayment material manufacturer's warranty brought no results, so I finally called the underlayment material company myself.  I had the document in five minutes via e-mail.

Also, on the final day of work, when I paid Rene the balance owed, he stated that he wanted to buy my wife and I dinner.  We did not think that was necessary as both parties had completed the contract as agreed to.  He insisted and we gave him the name of a restaurant we enjoy.  That was nearly 5 months ago and we are getting hungry.

You'll get excellent workmanship at a competitive price with Express Roofing.  Just be prepared for frustration with their office in getting all the final documents.

We recently had our flat top roof resurfaced and Express Roofing did an outstanding job from beginning to end! We had to handle this project remotely as we were out of town for a few months. This was difficult for us at first as we like to be very hands on with projects. We felt completely at ease leaving and having Express Roofing take care of our home while we were gone. Jenna in the office was an excellent communicator, Jeremy's visit to our home for our bid before we left was extremely professional and Rene (the owner) and his crew kept in contact with phone calls, pictures and a drone video!!! Our neighbor who was watching them do the job called and asked us for their contact info. We really felt like we were treated like family!! Thank you Express Roofing! We will definitely will be recommending you!!

Rene and his team are the best.  Detailed and thorough quote.  The price was competitive and they give you a signed warranty upon completion.  I had my entire roofs underlay redone and new vents added.  Express Roofing was on time everyday , clean, and efficient.

Rene- emailed me an update of progress daily with pictures and videos (drone) explaining the progress and stage of the repairs.  The videos were fantastic.  We had five different contracts give us their opinions and prices.  Express roofing was not the cheapest or the most expensive.  But, they were the most detail oriented and organized.  Rene's experience in roofing was obvious.  Replacing a roof is a big investment.  I recommend Express Roofing.

I can't imagine a better experience or company to work with. Rene, Jeff, and the entire crew made the process smooth from start to finish. You (hopefully) don't have to replace roofs twice within 5 years, but we did. We replaced one on our old house (asphalt shingles), then sold and moved...within a year, the new house (clay tiles) needed one too. Luckily, we knew whom to call.

Express owner, Rene, came out for the estimate personally and did a thorough inspection, took lots of pictures and video, so that we can see what he's talking about. He works up the estimate and explains the process completely. Weather permitting, you start and finish within the projected dates. Jeff handled all of the scheduling and daily communication. He answers thoroughly and promptly and fields any questions, regardless of how silly you thing they are. The crew shows up on time, cleans up completely each and every day, and does a quality job. We have absolutely no complaints; nothing but good here.

While I hope we don't need another roof any time soon, I definitely would recommend Express Roofing! I'd use them again and again.

When faced with the daunting task of re-roofing our 28 year old home, we interviewed and got bids from 3 top rated roofing contractors.  Rene and his daughter presented us with the most comprehensive and professional explanation of what they were going to do and why.  We have 11,000 sq ft under roof, so this job was no small task.  We were told it would take 2 full weeks to get the job done.  I am happy to report, it was accomplished 2 days early!  Ricardo, the Forman was on top of every detail and his crew was very clean taking care to keep our paver driveway covered and unharmed.  Everything Rene

I take my hat off to this company. Express Roofing, From the Palomino family all way down to the roofers are a class act. Very seldom do I believe anyone or any company deserves a perfect score because growing up as a kid I know and have learned there's always room for improvement. This company deserves a 5. After getting bids from a number of roofers, and being totally confused on some of the particulars, we boiled it down to express roofing  First off, their proposal was the most complete and fully explanatory as to what their numbers covered.  They were great on follow up and asking if there were any questions with regard to the proposal or the products they were intending to use.  We dictated the final manufacturer, their specific product and color.  After much discussion about ventilators and weight of felt product we decided on a specific product and everything was included in the final bid.  They arrived on time, finished on time, and today they finished but were stopped from completing the job due to weather but will return tomorrow to finalized everything.  Thier price was competitive and their attitude was exemplary.  Really enjoyable to do business with a company like this.  Great bunch of guys on the job, Rene is a kind hearted man and his daughter Jenna an obvious asset to their company.  You always felt you were being treated fairly and honestly.  We will see how the roof holds up and if there is any reason to take advantage of the long term warranty both for the shingles and the company.  Can't say enough nice things about them.  Use them.  I am giving them permission to give out my name and phone number to anyone interested in direct questions about them and their service.

Had previously given ER a 5 star rating.  We were delighted with the job until there was a rain.  We didn't notice it at first but one evening while watching TV in our Family room I looked up at the ceiling and noticed that there was a two by four foot section that had evidence of a water leak.  I called the company and Rene came out after several days and climbed up on the roof with his installation manager.  He then informed me of two things which I had questions about.  We had a solar hot water heater that we replaced at the same time the roof was done.  According to Rene they had installed improper caps surrounding the piping going through the roof.  He told me that ordinarily they would charge $250 for coming out and replacing these caps and the silicon they used as a sealer,

The solar company has been in business in the valley for about 30 years and have a five star rating.  They told me that the materials they used were the same as they used on every installation and did not cause a problem in all the time they have used them.  I had informed Rene of what was going on with the Solar heater before the job commenced and offered to have him co ordinate with them during the installation process.  The solar company had told me they did not need to be there with the roofers because the materials and installation would be complimentary to the roofers installation.  If at that time, Rene would have any questions about the solar company application, he should have at least made a call them to make sure their process was compatible with the materials used by the roofers.  He told me that the water heater company's installation would void my warranty on the roof if not corrected.

Rene also told me that the leak was caused by the duct work from the AC unit.  This roof was water tight for the three years we have lived in the house.  Deteriorating shingles were the reason for our contracting for a new roof.   The duct work is over thirty years old and previously had a swamp cooler that had caused deterioration of the duct.  We had removed all of the damaged duct work with the exception of some of the main duct which had some of the corners damaged from rust.  Rene's claim was that was where the water had come in.  Just he same, while there on the first visit they used mastic all around the AC duct and the mastic was all around the outside of the new shingles. The appearance was terrible.  Brand new roof with mastic on the outside of the shingles.  

It took weeks for them to come back. Rene said they would replace the solar caps for free and would correct the mastic problem. If the duct work was the leak problem it didn't exist before they moved the AC unit.  If  the duct work was a possible source of a leak, I should have been informed in order to make the necessary repairs to the duct.  They supposedly corrected the leak problem by using some sealer on four small openings, obviously there since installation of the unit, they pointed to on the outside of the duct work.  If those were leaking they would never have allowed enough water in the interior to do as much damage to the ceiling as is evident in our house.  

Rene made questionable claims. I cannot dispute them as I do not have enough information.  This could be true, but my home still has damage to the interior, which I will pay to repair, and which did not exist before the work done by ER. I would use them again but would be very cautious about the details surrounding their work.

This is an A+ Company. Everything is done first class. Monica & Jenna in the office are great. Jeff is reliable. But the star of the show is Rene. His knowledge of the business and his honesty are unsurpassed. You will not have to worry about anything

Great new roof work done!! I called 4 Roofing companies and got bids and Express Roofing had the best price and at the end they had the best service, turned out awesome. He has really good guys working for the company and keeps you up on the job with pictures and more, and they want's you to be completely happy with the work and the price. I will use them again on other roofing projects.

Well I have had the unfortunate experience of needing to use Rene and Express 3 times for our roof from 2008-15. The first time, in 2008, I selected Rene based on his thorough quote, professionalism and explanation of our needs. Then the hail of 2010 ruined our new roof! I turned back to Rene for the insurance covered replacement and was satisfied again. in 2013 while on the roof, I noticed some damaged shingles again! Turns out they were defective and we were faced with a warranty issue that Owens Corning was not fully wanting to cover. It was not completely seamless but, after some discussion Rene battled OC for us and, eventually, we got our roof replaced again.

Rene is very sincere and open to discussions about your concerns and has always worked with us on any issues that arose. I would definitely use Express again and recommend that you give them an opportunity to bid your job.

The only negative I can report is that their clean up was not totally spotless; I do still find random nails in the grass but that is a nearly impossible job to get them all!

Express Roofing did a great job on our roof replacement.  Where other estimates were either higher or lower in cost, we went with Express because they go that extra mile that I look for in contractors.  Video recording of our initial roof condition, as well as ongoing photos during and after the replacement were part of our choice in going with this company.

I feel like we got a lot of benefit for our money, including extra creative thinking with regards to our original contractor roof, to improve on maintaining the roof's integrity.  Extras at a cost included roof ridge ventilation, bird-wire (due to really bad pigeon problems), and extra layers near the usually rain0heavy edges.  Rene and his team did a great job, and the roof looks great.  That, and cleaning up as they go makes this a 5-star company and do highly recommend them.

These guys came out and promptly gave me a quote for a new roof. I didn't go with them but they were very prompt.

The service I received from Express Roofing through the entire project should be a model for all others.  
From the beginning, they were quick to respond to my Yelp request for an appointment, when other companies never even returned my follow-up call. Some companies came out but never followed up with a bid. Some gave me a bid on the spot without even going up on the roof!  Rene came out (at the appointment time which was important to me since I work from home) and explained the process, the company set-up, the timeline and what to expect - up to and including what would I do with my dog while the roofing was happening, not just because the gate would be open, but some dogs (and people) do not like the noise. He was also careful to explain that they would be covering my pool and some dogs may try to walk on the plastic and could drown.
I needed a huge number of tiles replaced and my tile is no longer being made and instead of sending me 50 miles away to where tile is made to select another color and style, Rene brought the tile to me. He brought models of how joints and connections and drains are made and installed, and showed a piece of the underlayment so I could see what was going to be installed on my roof. Everything he said was followed up in writing. I received a copy of the warranty form along with their bid. His bid was all in when other companies had pages of contingencies and possible related and unforeseen charges.  Express Roofing was not the lowest bid on paper but I felt confident that the bid would be what I paid - and in the end it was.
It is quite interesting and noteworthy at how well the crew worked together to accomplish so much in just one day. As noisy as this project is, other than the sound of real work being done, the crew was quiet as mice - and as much work that happened on top and around my home I was amazed everyday that not one nail or spec of trash could be found when the crew departed for the day! The materials that remained behind for the next day were neatly and safely stacked and placed discreetly so that I would not receive a complaint from the HOA and they would not be in my way. The professionalism astounded me, especially in this day and age where it seems most companies just don't care about customer service!
Jeff in the Express Roofing office was proactive and either called or emailed me on a regular basis to keep me updated on the tile order and delivery, the crew arrival time, reminder about the pool being covered while the messiest work was being performed, etc. I did not have to chase them down to find out what the heck was going on as I have had to with other major projects I am doing such as glass beading my pool or installing a gas line for my barbeque.
Every day that work was done Rene drove all the way out here and flew a drone to show me the progress on the roof. He sent me a video with a voice over explaining what was happening. On the video, he pointed out a couple of upgrades the crew was doing so my roof would be back in code, leak-proof longer, and more aesthetically pleasing. Not one of the other companies that came out and gave me a bid even mentioned them.
Rene said the roof would be done by the weekend - and it was actually done before noon on Friday. They were very comprehensive and meticulous on stucco patching and matched the house paint perfectly.
This is one time when I wrote what I consider to be a big check - and was completely and totally happy and satisfied to do it. I feel that I have the best looking roof in the entire area, not just in my neighborhood. I would recommend Express Roofing to anyone needing a roof repair, a replacement, or like me, a new roof.

Our overall experience with Express Roofing has been great and very satisfying. During our initial search for a roofing contractor Express Roofing came across as one of the few companies that had outstanding reviews across the board on all major review sites namely yelp, google and BBB. There were companies that had great reviews on one but not so good on others. While gathering quotes from 4-5 companies, Express Roofing in terms of quoted price was the second best but by a small margin. What really caught our attention was their communication and ability to nicely explain how they offered the complete package which is best quality materials and best quality workmanship. Their owner Rene is a fantastic person and his mannerism definitely reflected the integrity and best quality service that they always strive to offer to their customers. There was also a lot of willingness to do the job for us. Their quote ended up being the best in terms of warranty, materials and the extent of desirable features like number of ventilators and roofing accessories. And all that good stuff with a very competitive pricing. At that point we were convinced that we are getting the best deal. As expected the actual re-roofing work went smoothly and final finished roof looked nothing less than phenomenal. All along that project that spanned for 4 days, we were updated on a daily basis with aerial videos of the roof along with Rene's commentary explaining all the work that was happening on the roof. This level of communication was indeed very helpful. In summary I can say without any hesitation that honesty, quality, competitive prices and excellent communication is the hallmark of this company and that is perhaps the reason why they have excellent reviews all across the board. There's a reason this company has a 5-star rating! We called multiple companies to determine if we needed a roof repair. Express Roofing came to our home and provided the most detailed explanation of our roof issues/concerns. The company is family owned, and you can tell from the minute you call to set-up a free estimate. The owner and his son came to our home and provided the estimate. They spent a great deal of time looking over our roof and patio roof. They took video and still shots of our roof and provided both to us, so we could better understand the areas of concern with our roof. The video had commentary, which helped us better understand what should be included in a roof repair. Express Roofing was not the cheapest of our estimates, but genuinely appreciated the time they took to explain the issues with our roof and the integrity of their employees. They communicated with us frequently, the job site staff were courteous, professional and on-time (EVERY day). The crew thoroughly cleaned-up their mess each day to prevent our children and pets from being injured. A drone was flown over our home 1/2 way through the repair and after completion of the job. Rene (the owner) takes pride in his craftsmanship and company, and it shows. We cannot recommend Express Roofing enough. Well worth every penny, to have peace of mind!

Rene and everyone at Express Roofing was great to work with.  Rene was very thorough about explaining everything that would be done and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right.  I received several quotes and not only did Express Roofing have the best price, they were by far the most professional.  Everyday they did a thorough clean up to make sure no debris was left behind.  They finished my roof in less than 3 days and I still haven't found a single roofing nail left behind!  I was especially impressed that Rene wanted to come out personally to meet with me after the roof had been completed to go over the work they had done and make sure I was happy with the final product.  Really great family owned business!

Our family has a vacation home in Arizona that needed a new roof badly.  We interviewed a few roofing companies and went with Rene Palomino, Express Roofing LLC.  It was the best decision we made.  After a year we noticed water spotting on the ceiling in two spots.  Rene and his crew came out ran water on the roof and took a video showing it was not the roof leaking but the air conditioning unit!!!  His crew fixed it the best they could and it was not his obligation to do so.  Express Roofing LLC is so honest and helpful I recommend them 100%.

We recently had Express Roofing complete a re-roof on our house and could not be happier.  I had three companies come out but only Express followed up with additional roofing information to consider before making any decisions.  In addition they recommended some additional attic venting no one else mentioned.  Did it cost me more money?  Yes, but it certainly made sense and I didn't feel at all that I was being gouged somehow.  Express was flexible with our scheduling needs and their basic warranty is better than the others I reviewed, which was the final decision factor.  Jeff, Jenna, Jeremy, and Rene took every opportunity to thank us for our business, and prove they wanted our business, even after they already had our business.  Once the process was underway - the crew was there at 7:20 every morning, even on Saturday, and didn't stop moving except for lunch.  They cleaned up every day and left very, very, little debris.  We received daily phone calls from the project coordinator, and narrated drone videos from the owner.  The final invoice had no surprises, and the level of communication and responsiveness was exceptional.  I know, I'm gushing over a ROOFING COMPANY, but really - they were fantastic and I have no qualms recommending Express Roofing to anyone.

My roof was original- 30 years old. I wasn't particularly excited about having to replace it- especially on the heels of a bathroom renovation due to a mold issue that insurance didn't cover) but I started seeing significant rotting on the overhang- so who knows what was going on on top! I did my due diligence. I called four of the highest rated companies on Yelp to get written estimates. Express was the most thorough, comprehensive and timely estimate of the group. In fact, the owner, Renee ( a former roofer himself) got on the roof with his Google glasses and filmed everything he saw so that I could see what he was talking about. He raised issues and suggested a plan that other guys didn't even discuss with me. I had an evap cooler removed several years ago and the guys did shoddy work and he was able to clean up the mess left by them without an additional cost. His estimate was competitive and super complete and he provide a better warranty than any of the other 5 star companies..and an actual certificate of warranty.
The job was done on time, his guys are awesome, not a nail to be seen left behind, not a shingle left floating in my pool and plants all protected. He did lots of small things as a courtesy and even filmed what the roof looked like when they tore the shingles off. I am so happy with their work and the overall experience of working with them. I am so glad that I included them in my estimates because nobody else was nearly as complete or as easy to work with. Thank you Renee for a job well done and for putting up with me! ( after he came out the first time I called with multiple times to ask additional questions etc. He and Jeff never made me feel like I was being the pain in the neck that I probably was).

I'm writing this review to acknowledge the great job that Jeff, and Express Roofing did for me. First off, Rene the estimator that came out was very knowledgeable with many years in the business and we talked at length about all the aspects of the job. I have done contracting and realized there were many things that needed attention on my house. Pictures were taken as part of there procedure which I thought was smart as well.  Rene had a great understanding, and a solution for all of the needed details. I had several other companies come out to bid the job, but in the end it was his pointing out finer points in a roofing contract that gave me confidence to hire Express.  The crew came promptly at the agreed on time, performed the work in a very professional manor, cleaned  at the end of every work day. They did not take any shortcuts on the job. In the end I ended up with a beautiful roof.

Express Roofing just finished our roof.  We had them install all new underlayment, tile on the slopes, and 5 ply on the flat ends.  Their work is excellent.  The quality of our roof is top-notch.  We were really happy with their professional service throughout the project, and their communication was excellent.  I'd highly recommend this company for roof work.  We bid 3 different companies for the work, and this company was the lowest bid for the best quality.  Very happy.

The owner, Rene, who will be there every step of the way, is extremely knowledgeable and honest.  We had the underlayment of our 20-year-old tile roof replaced.  Expressing Roofing uses superior (more expensive) material installed by highly skilled workers for a very fair price.  I received three estimates and Express was the lowest even though the others use standard material and didn't take the time to explain their workmanship like Express did.  Express exceeded all my expectations and I wish I could give them 6 stars.  You won't find a better roofer in the Valley--definitely the best quality and workmanship for the best price.

I was looking to re-roof my home and a co-worker referred me to Express Roofing as she had previously had her roof done by them. I contacted them and made an appointment for inspection and an estimate. They came promptly and inspected the roof, then scheduled another appointment to go over the estimate in detail and explain the products they would use and how. They also recommended we add some extra roof vents since ours was inadequate (something the other companies I contacted didn't). Their estimate was in the middle of the other two I had received, but theirs included the cost of wood whereas the others didn't. There were no surprises as a result. The workers showed up each morning promptly and worked long hours to get our roof done in 2-1/2 days. The work site was cleaned up each evening so you'd never know they were there. Because they didn't use all of the wood in the estimate, we actually received a discount back for that. Express Roofing's professionalism, excellent work, superior work materials, and honesty makes me highly recommend this company for anyone looking to re-roof their home.
