Best Residential Project in Phoenix AZ

I just used Charlie from No Limits Concrete to finish a patio and add a sidewalk on the side of our house.  It was an AMAZING, pain free experience that I would TOTALLY recommend to anyone who has a concrete project.  I actually found him on Thumbtack.  He responded immediately and was out right on time for our estimate.  His bid came in almost HALF of the other bids I received.  He had a cancellation and moved me into a slot which I also really appreciated.  When it came for the work, he showed up right on time.  He ran into some difficulties with our sprinkler, but was able to get everything lined up to finish the job.  The second day he was again, right on time, and he finished the work.  They were super clean and and absolute joy to work with.  If I EVER have another project, no doubt in my mind who I'll call.  Thanks so much for a job well done!!!

We requested a quote to have a tree removed and other landscaping projects from Jorge and he scheduled an appointment right away to meet us. He showed up on time and he listened to exactly what we wanted and made suggestions which I appreciated. The quotes were very reasonable. We went with just the tree removal for now. They came out and took down our huge two story high tree and did such a great job, it looked as if the tree was never there. They also cleaned up everything as well. I highly recommend them and will be using them again for our other projects.

We didn't have a big project, but Dave and his team treated us like we did.  They were communicative, on time, honest, reliable, and reasonably priced.

Two panels (25 feet) of the six foot block wall protecting my backyard were blown over during a very intense monsoon storm last weekend. I contacted numerous masons and Bob Bivin was the only one who personally came out to examine the damage prior to giving me an estimate. Bob was very prompt, responsive, and respectful; he understood my safety concerns and managed to fit my job into his busy schedule immediately. His crew and Alejandro were incredibly professional and efficient - they also trimmed and cleaned up landscaping/bushes that were damaged by the storm/wall debris. Some estimates for my wall repair came in lower, one was higher. Bob was so responsive, told me exactly how long the job would take (which turned out to be 100% correct), showed me what they would be doing during the repair and explained the details why.

It rained hard again the night after they rebuilt the wall, but I was relieved to see it standing strong the next morning!  BBM waited an extra day for the wall to dry, then promptly painted the entire length of the wall (not just the two panels, the whole wall) for a perfect match.  You would never even know there was ever any damage there. His crew was quiet, professional, and cleaned up the job site beautifully. I didn't watch the entire process, but Bob was here on-scene observing his crew much of the time; whenever I stepped outside to check, he updated me on the progress. He was on time, and no additional charges were added to their estimate. Bob and his crew were perfect gentlemen throughout the entire process, and I highly recommend BBM. I feel safe again!

Don't just look at one review... read them all and make your own common sense assessment. I'm so relieved that I did that. Bob is one of the best contractors I have ever dealt with, I applaud his workmanship.

I highly recommend All Terrain Landscaping! Adam and Natalie have a great eye for detail and they are meticulous about quality. They are reliable, honest, and do a great job every time. Their commitment to quality and knowledge of the industry are two reasons that I team up with them on jobs regularly.

Adam and his team do a great deal of landscaping, design, and install for us when we are booked a couple months in advance. It's great to have a business that I can refer to other's and can be confident that they will deliver the highest quality results.

~We decided to fill in the living room of our home.   John (the owner) returned my call within an hour.  I sent him pictures and dimensions of the room and he texted back a price for the job and emailed a written estimate in 30 minutes! Of all the contractors I called, Midwest was the ONLY company to automatically include the placement of rebar to hold the concrete in place.
~All I can say about their work is this: John and his crew was on time, professional, friendly, knowledgable, efficient, clean, timely and meticulous!  Everything consumers hope for!
~ Added note: I didn't know anything about the necessity of rebar or other aspects of filling in sunken rooms but since Midwest did the job, SEVERAL other contractors who have come to our house to bid on other work have told me that Whoever did your concrete did a great job!  and asked for his info. for themselves.
~I got lucky I found a contractor like John views his work/company the old school way.  He cares and will do a great job for you too!!

They did a fantastic job on our backyard that was so overgrown!!!! We were very impressed with their hard work, especially in the Arizona heat! They did a great job of trimming everything beautifully and cleaning up the mess. We highly recommend them!!!

Bob C.is the best! Explained what needs to happen to upright & rebuild wall. He knows theory & is just a good person. Would recommend without hesitation.

We wanted a simple but good looking block wall to be used as a compost pit and shovel rack. At a time when most contractors are too busy to be bothered with a small job, Dylan and his team came out relatively quickly for an estimate and gave a written proposal for a competitive price the next day. We were able to schedule the work shortly thereafter. Their mason Rafael is an artisan and worked very hard, quickly, and cleanly.

Because we are foster parents. Any children below the age of six, we must have a pool fence. Create A Curb was recommended by our fence installer. We needed 50 feet of curb installed, 20 ft of it was added in the last minute. There was no issues, very professional crew. Did the job in one day, matched the color I wanted, and have had no issues since the job was completed.

We decided to add stone veneers to our home for better curb appeal. I searched through written reviews and various website portfolio pictures of work, and AZ Rock Pros ended up our first choice.
I contacted Kyle and he was out immediately to give me an estimate.  He was back the next day with samples fitting my descriptions and extras he thought might interest me.
He said he could install the next day if I wished, but because of pending HOA approval we were delayed for several weeks.  He then had to wait on my problems with a painting contractor not completing work.  Kyle was very patient and flexible. He stayed in touch throughout my delays, and was ready to install when I was finally ready.  I was very happy on how quickly they got the veneers up (2 days - working around both painters and weather problems).  The work turned out beautiful.  I have other improvements involving stonework I want to make in the future, and I definitely will be contacting AZ Rock Pros when I am ready to have it done. It is not often I have a fully positive experience working with a contractor, so had to talk about it.

Roadrunner has done 3 or 4 small concrete slab jobs for me and I have another
3 or 4 to give them.  They are dependable and show up when they say they are.
Great people to work with A+  They did a great job with no BS commonly found in dealing
with contractors.

Juan is responsive and did a good job on my yard without any direction from me in person.  We only exchanged photos and texts.  He completed work on time for a fair price in this market.

We contracted with them for a relatively simple home addition that was suppose to take 4-6 weeks. They stuck a huge sign in our yard, mostly advertising, saying they needed it for the building permits. We thought, all right, they will be starting on this soon. It has now been over six months. Without constant calls and reminders, they do nothing. Initially they said they had to wait for inspections, which sounded reasonable, but we realized the inspectors came out right after they were called. Gorilla was just using it as an excuse to take a month off. We've also had issues with theft by their subcontractors that they refused to take responsibility for.

The quality of their work is certainly adequate, but in the time it has taken for our one room addition, a four story office building has gone up around the corner.

Progressive Pavers recently completed an extension to our existing paver driveway. We got bids from other contractors but they were not going to use ABC under the pavers which was needed for a heavy truck to be parked on the driveway extension.  Barry F. was a pleasure to work with. His crew of 3 plus a foreman were obviously very skilled at their craft.  Zero issues from start to finish of entire project. I liked that the foreman spoke perfect English.  And they left the job site perfectly clean.
Our neighbors have commented on how awesome our driveway looks. We could not be more happy in our choice of Progressive Pavers for this job.  Don't waste your time getting bids from other contractors-
just go with Progressive Pavers they are the gold standard!

Very Professional and Quality Work !! I called, Carlos came gave me a quote did the job 2 weeks later and very reasonable on the price. The Crew were knowledgeable and didn't need any supervision. They worked together each one knew there job and it was definitely team work at it's best !! I would definitely use them again without hesitation. Did a great job with what was asked. Removed tons of rocks and removed dirt around where I wanted pavers. Great price!!!!

I am a particular person when it comes to my projects...we had a tree stump removed and needed the pavers reset. Gustavo is awesome, he is professional, knowledgeable and came out the next day gave me a fair quote and finished the job. I would recommend, hands down.

I hired VETSbuilt to raise my recessed living room, which for some reason were all the rage during the 1970's. Since I knew I would have to have concrete poured, I opted to kill two birds with one Home Equity Line of Credit and have my driveway extended to include an extra spot. I received 4 estimates from different General Contractors. I opted to go with Vetsbuilt for a few reasons:

1. They were the fastest to respond to my request
2. They were the fastest to make it out to my house
3. they were the fastest to get me an estimate
4. The estimate seemed to be most accurate with to the labor involved and in line with my expectations.  
4. They seemed easy to talk to and work with
5. I like the whole veteran thing and they do good work in the community

After I hired them they went to do a little more extensive research. They only hiccup in the whole process was that they got a bad vibe from the original concrete subcontractor and decided to get a second estimate. This added a decent chunk of change to my intial price estimate. While nobody wants to hear this, I chose to continue with them because they were very very honest about it, they told me they would refund the deposit if I didn't want to continue, and they explained to me the difference in quality of the estimates. I'm happy I continued with the project. Throught the build they were in touch with me very frequently. Everyone showed up on time and as expected. They cleaned up everyday, never leaving my house a mess. Everyone was incredibly nice and professional.

The results. My floor and driveway look amazing. Bob and DJ found a near perfect match to my tile, which Sergio lined up perfectly to the existing tile. My living room now looks awesome and I have an extra spot.
