I had an electrical issue during the recent storm and Shawn and his partner were available on short notice to help out. They diagnosed and fixed the issue and also gave me some good advice on future updates I can do to prevent similar issues. Professional and courteous. Thank you!

Brian showed up on time, identified the issues, fixed them and cleaned up after himself. He worked quietly and efficiently, explained issues when he found them, and was super professional. A great experience with an honest and effective professional. I would use Wickman again in a heartbeat!

I needed to run a sub panel to my detached garage for my growing woodworking workshop + beer brewing hobby. We had just purchased our house a year earlier and it was in our original plans to expand the electrical footprint of the house. The house had a 200amp main breaker panel that looked to be 20-30 years old. The garage had a single 15amp circuit wired to the main breaker and tripped frequently when brewing or wood working.
I contacted Galaxy Electric through the Request a Quote feature on Yelp and sent my request to four other companies at the same time. Galaxy responded first, within a couple hours. One other contractor replied, so the quoting process was on!
Peter, the owner of Galaxy stopped by first, and immediately made an impression of personable and caring for the quality of his work. He kept saying he looks at jobs as if it was his own house as that helps him give the best service. My original plan wasn't as good as his plan, which was awesome cause he's the expert and his ideas would lead to a way better result. He provided me a quote later that same day.
The other contractor came over two days later and quoted me just shy THREE TIMES as much for the same job. He also came up with his own plan, but it was overly engineered, expensive, and didn't suit my needs. He also tried to push financing on me even though I said I wasn't interested. When people do that they are looking to make money from the financing referral, so I knew his interested was not in the best service but the highest possible invoice. This was from a company that advertises on TV frequently. We had just been through a multi-company quoting process for our HVAC replacement (a 25 year old heat pump!) and boy I'll tell you the types of sales people they send to jack up pricing is unbelievable. Multi-quote for ALL your contracting projects, you'll learn the scumbags from the legit honest business folks.
I don't think Galaxy undercharges, their invoice wasn't cheap, but it was very fair. This is more of a reflection of the other company that I came to feel were predatory and exploitive.
So, I hired Peter. He sent his team over the next week (there was an opening in his schedule that I got the sense wasn't common, these are good contractors and I know they are in heavy demand). They came over and made quick work of back breaking work installing the conduit under an existing deck, installing the sub-panel, bonding to my gas line, and upgraded and replaced my old 20+ year old main panel. For one THIRD the price of the other company, and the quality was outstanding. What was remarkable was watching the electricians taking extra time to avoid any shortcuts that could get them to the next job quicker. They wanted quality, and they spent the extra time to achieve it.
One more thing... his crew was personable and friendly like no other. My wife works from home, but when we hire contractors, I stay home just due to strangers being in the house. Even though Galaxy was there for two and a half days, I left her alone in the house with them for the second and third day with ZERO worries. Friendly, quick to answer stupid homeowner questions, zero complaining, no cussing, or stuff you find with other crews. Total professionals, but personable and kind as well.
Now that I've found Galaxy, I will hire them for every electrical job I have from here on out, big or small. Pleasure doing business!

Rob and Rob were consistently friendly and reliable. They took the time to consider the best way to approach each job, always showed up on time, took care with the way the job looked as well as functioned, were very skilled and knowledgeable, and did a great job. I will definitely hire them to so the rest of our electrical work in the future.

This company will not even bother to return a call. They must really think so much of themselves that they don't need the work. They just lost out on an entire house rewire. Lots of money. Not in their bank.

Greg has done two jobs for us and always has taken care to do the job right and left the work space clean. He is reasonably priced and has a good grasp of what it takes to make it all work. Highly recommended!

Eric did a fabulous job installing a new Solatube in our dark hallway, replacing an old Solatube that had been damaged by roofers, and cleaning the dome outside on our third Solatube. My gosh, we can SEE now! Excellent company and staff. They have a showroom in Edmonds off Aurora Ave and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. In addition, they do door screens, blinds, and deck railing. I highly recommend this company.

Just finished a remodel project where West Seattle Electric and Solar were the electrical contractor. Mark and Dakota showed up on time every time and were very professional in their work. Pleasure to work along side these guys, would work with them again. Highly recommend.

We recently had Artisan Electric install Solar panels on the South side of our roof. The entire process from start to finish was seem less. Paige was amazing to work with and answered EVERY question we had about the process. They did a complete analysis and preview of our system. From start to finish, and with every team member, they did an amazing job. It was so easy. It really helps to have a company that literally takes care of everything about the process. Super informative, helpful and best of all, we now have solar! The system is hooked up to our computer for easy monitoring. I highly recommend Artisan Electric for your Solar needs!

TLDR -- Did zero work after 6 weeks of numerous missed appointments, took our deposit, has not fully refund. Escalating with Venmo to get our money back, filing complaint with Department of Labor + Industries, BBB and considering small claim court. Bottom line: Don't ever pay a penny until the work is done.
What started out like a great deal with a good guy slowly devolved into a long series of missed appointments, excuses and and us having to resort to reaching out to Venmo to get our deposit money back.
We were super hopeful and happy to have found Eugene. Great energy, lowest quote for a 200amp panel upgrade--50% cheaper than the next lowest bid.
However, he began missing his appointments without any notice. We had to reach out to him the morning of to confirm.
1. First time was apparently our fault for scheduling it the day before we had to fly out of town, thinking that it would be a one-day job?...Maybe we thought that because we were told it would be a one day job? OK. Rescheduled. NBD.
2. Second try, Eugene had forgotten to take a measurement of our house for the external metal conduit so now he has to come over to take the measurement. OK...he comes over without a measuring tape. NP, I got one. Rescheduled again.
3. Round three, metal pipe isn't ready/his guy is running behind on a job. Rescheduled again.
4. Round four, his shop got broken in.
At this point, my wife is ready to bail. I'm dumb and naive enough to want to keep working with him. Ultimately, we made the call to move-on and ask for a refund. Eugene agrees. Then over the next several days, he promised us he would drop off a check because he had maxed out his Venmo. Check never came. Eventually, we got him to give half of our deposit back via Zelle.
We continued to support him and wanted him to succeed so my dumbass decides to give him another chance. OK. Back on the schedule.
5. Day of appointment, Eugene says he can't do it bc they're short on people and offers to give the refund back. Bummed, but OK.
Then over the course of the following week, it was promises after promises of us getting the refund. At this point, I'm over it and just want my money back so luckily I had Buyer Protection turned on for the Venmo transaction so currently I'm in the dispute process. I look like an idiot in the eyes of my wife. Mind you, we were already scarred from previous contractors and horror stories from our friends of contractors bailing with thousands of dollars of deposit money. Never thought it would happen to us.
The complicated part of this whole thing is that Eugene seems to try. He doesn't ignore my texts. It would be a lot easier if he was an a-hole, but he's not.
As children of refugees and small business owners ourselves, we have an abundant amount of empathy for Eugene trying make it in this industry as a minority. It aint easy but it doesn't negate the failures we outlined above--like not returning money owe, that's called theft. We hope he gets his things together or able to get the help he desperately needs.
Having said all that, we do take the necessary steps to keep contractors accountable, including litigation. We don't enjoy the process but unfortunately, it's a last resort measure that is sometimes needed.

Never thought I'd have need for an electrician, but I put the word out and my contact referred me to this company. Best call I ever made. Was fortunate to get same-day service. Prompt, professional, personable, and courteous. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Crimson City Electric. THANK YOU CCE!

Mike, Hailey, Dickson, Josh, Chase, Austin...every team member we worked with at MAD Energy NW was absolutely fantastic and we cannot recommend them enough.
In the recent storm the electrical mast was torn off of our house. We were suddenly without power and had to scramble to hire an electrician to get our mast fixed and inspected before the electrical company would restore power. After a few hours of Yelping, Googling and asking friends and neighbors for recommendations, we ended up only getting a few responses. The first quote sounded alright and the guy seemed reasonable. Luckily we waited to hear back from Mike (who himself was dealing with a power outage and property damage from the storm) because not only was his price almost half of the other company's, he also shifted his teams around so they could take care of us the next day.
Their site team (Josh, Chase and Austin) were very friendly, answered ALL of our many questions and cleaned up after themselves. They also avoided punching a bunch of holes in our walls and ceiling like the other company said they needed to do. Josh even stayed late to make sure the work was done that day when our house threw him a curveball. While the work was being completed, their team also coordinated with the utility company and somehow managed to get them on site that same evening to have our power restored.
On top of all this, they also coordinated directly with our home insurance to ensure we were reimbursed for all the work. One less headache for us to handle! Best of all, they managed to convince our insurance agent that they should cover an upgrade to our electrical panel.
MAD made an incredibly stressful situation go smoother, get resolved faster and cost less than we had dared to hope for. This is a team that clearly cares about the quality of their work and their clients. We are so grateful to have found MAD and wish that all contractors were as impressive as this team.

We had a heat pump and two in wall heaters installed by Frederickson Electric. The installer Nick and his assistant Gabe were on time, efficient in the work needing done and provided expert help and advice on the products installed.
Nick was professional, helpful and personable.
We highly recommend Frederickson Electric!

Most electricians are too busy to take care of blown breakers and annoying little jobs. And probably Konsker Electric is no different but they did and it didn't take long and they were reasonably priced. This is the kind of service you hope for during your time of need. I've given out Konsker Electric's number to anyone that's needed electrical help and they all love him. Robert is a blast to be around, I mean come on, he's a New Yorker, he can service existing situations and even build you a new house. He's been in the industry for generations. So don't be afraid, try Robert Konsker, I'm glad I did!

I have worked with many contractors from every trade over the years. Synergy Electric is the best hands down. Stop aimlessly searching for an electrician that you know nothing about. The Synergy crew exceeded all of my expectations and I will use them for all of my future projects. Currently working with Matt to install solar panels so I can save some precious $ with my utility.

Quick efficient service ! Was pleased with my experience. Sam finished installing a new circuit breaker within a few minutes and the quote was competitive.

Not sure of their electrical service as I haven't needed that service, however I am sure that at least one of their drivers needs a refresher course in safe driving. I was tailgated this morning heading on I-5 South around 0645 in the far left lane, when I was unable to get over to the next lane due to some semi trucks in that lane. This driver was practicing unsafe driving, being a poor representation of the company he works for and created a great deal of anxiety for me. Be safe out there people, there are people in vans who would love to kiss your bumper doing 60+ miles per hour on the freeway!
