Solarside Electric

I bought a plugin Chevy Volt and wanted a 240 volt outlet for faster charging. When I called we quickly scheduled an appointment 3 days out. An hour later they called back and said they had a cancellation and would I like it today?, I jumped at the chance. They showed up on time and finished under an hour. The cost was half of what others quoted me scheduling 3 weeks out.

I really appreciated their cost, flexibility, and professionalism. Thank you!

One word to summarize Solarside is Unorganized.

Working with Marv on our new construction project was a nightmare. Weeks behind schedule, showing up for only a couple hours at a time to work on our project, and leaving a massive mess for us to clean up every trip. We are still fixing stuff he did months after moving in. Save yourself the hassle and use a bigger more organized company for your larger projects. Saving money with Marv's low bid was not worth it and we regret using him.

Called them to diagnose a non functioning heat pump. They said they install them and stuff so I trusted them. He came out for less than 15 minutes from knocking to driving off and was told it was a fuse issue. Replaced fuse later that day and it burned out again.

After hiring a second person to inspect it, all the person did was take a circuit tester and test the connections between the power. Thats all, and if thats outside the scope of a 200 dollar an hour power diagnosis than I would never recommend them for anything power related. As thats the most basic form of electrical work there is. Taking a probe and seeing what is sending a signal. So easy 5 other installation firms said it was highway robbery to pay that and not even get probed for a current on anything.

Updated all our old electrical in a 1910 craftsman while salvaging the lath and plaster. Did what he said he'd do, and did it on time.  Easy to work with.  Would recommend and would hire again.

Awesome guys, hands down best around. Their quality of work is 2nd to none! Theyll explore all the options before starting a the project to ensure the cleanest look!

This company will not even bother to return a call. They must really  think so much of themselves that they don't need the work. They just lost out on an entire house rewire. Lots of money. Not in their bank.

Installed a 200Amp panel and a couple circuits for us. They had a whole crew out making sure the job got done. Thanks Solarside!

I have used them for a couple small jobs at my home and a rental house we have. They have ways done a great job. Will continue to use them when I need an electrician in the future.
