Best Emergency Services in Seattle WA
I never met Rich, but he was gracious enough to solve my electrical issue over the phone without coming out for a house call. He requested photos of the problem area and a description of the symptoms which I provided. He gave me a solution which to my limited skillset I was able to complete and the problem was solved.
Rich was the very first of the many electricians to contact me in a timely fashion. I greatly appreciated that as I know many of these electricians are swamped with appointments and couldn't fit me in for weeks.
I know that Rich will be the first guy I call the next time I have a problem I can't overcome.

Dean was extremely kind in talking through a recent problem we had with the fuse box. In 10 minutes on the phone he had sorted it out and saved us an expensive house call. Thanks Dean -will be calling you next time!

This is my first ever Yelp review and I decided to write my honest review for After Hour Services.
My kitchen sink has been stuck for more than 12 hrs. I tried different methods for 5 hrs but still couldn't get it resolved.
After Hours Services exceeded my expectations in many ways-
Responsive: Will replied my request for quote under 10 mins, and replied my text and call fairly quickly.
Professional: Will got things done in under 30 mins. In addition, Will was very thorough in examining andexplaining the issue. What I love the most is that he cleaned up the area after the issue was fixed.
Transparent pricing: he's honest and it's a flat fee and very reasonable price. I got different quotes and his is the most transparent.
On-time: he was on time, which is a very big factor for me.
Overall, I recommend Will and After Hour Services, with passion.

Have to stand by my review of this company. Experienced the same issues that many other reviews have addressed. The company responded to my review with a totally fabricated story. Other people's reviews have said that the customer was blamed for the company's actions. Definitely have to agree with that. Cannot recommend Live Wire Electric.

I needed some electrical work done in a pinch. Of the 20 electricians I emailed and called to get estimates from Brian was the only electrician that actually came out and looked everything over to give me a bid for the work to be done. He knew his stuff and completed everything I needed done in a timely manner. I also threw a couple curve balls at him and he handled everything well. I would definitely work with night and day again in the future and can't recommend them enough.

Slava and Kwality Electric replaced knob and tube wiring in my 1940's house. They were very knowledgeable and answered every question I had in detail. Their work was performed quickly, on time as scheduled, and per code. Most importantly, I thought their price was very competitive with the service that they provided. I reviewed multiple bids for the work and Kwality Electric came is at a reasonable price and was able to get the work done quickly. I will be using Kwality Electric for my electrical needs going forward!

They were reasonably quick with a reasonable price to diagnose the hot water tank. That's how they get their foot in the door. Within minutes of the arrival they were quoting me a price of over $1900 to replace 1-40 gal gas HW tank. I could buy a brand new tank for around $400 at home depot, so they want $1500 for an hour's labor? WTF! What a rip-off! I was a general contractor for about 15 years in a younger life, so I have an idea about what things should cost. Being retired and laid up with a bad wrist this wasn't a task I could take on myself. I made a second call. The second plumber charged me $1200 to replace the tank. It was still a steep price but a lot more reasonable that Hunt's price!

5/3/2022: After seeing my review, WES contacted me to request a walk-through. Kevin arrived on time and expressed concern over my experience. He demonstrated window operation - it turns out the windows have a feature that I didn't know about (I edited my initial review to delete an inaccurate comment about not being sure whether windows were installed correctly with all parts functioning as designed -- Kevin showed me that the feature I thought might be a lock to hold the window open was actually for a different purpose). Kevin inspected all the windows and found one that was missing a vent cover, which he indicated WES will return to install.
I believe that he and I agreed that WES' communication was poor and that WES did not perform all the post-installation clean up that was supposed to be included in our window purchase.

Cecil, Denzel, Isiah and Austin did a totally awesome job getting our house up to modern standards. They were fairly priced and worked hard to make a ton of electrical updates to our 1908 home. They were able to adjust their schedules to accommodate our ever expanding scope of the project. They installed recessed lights throughout plaster ceilings , gfi plugs, ceiling fans, ev charger plugs, bathroom ventilation fans, vanity lights, led panel lights for our basement, dishwasher plugs, washer and dryer plugs. Super job all around and they are awesome people.

We had an electrical panel upgrade and some other associated upgrades done on our house. I am sharing our experience with Seatown; first, the work did not pass the City of Seattle inspection and required Seatown to return and do some modifications. Second, on the scheduled day for the modifications, Seatown didn't show up in the 2 hour window (no phone call from them during that time). I waited another hour and a half and still a no-show, then I left. They called that night to say they didn't come because they were super busy that day.
And, by the way, I believe Seatown charges on the high side, as I had several bids, but went with them because my neighbors recommended them. Additionally, I had to pay half the cost 2 months in advance because they were booked out and wouldn't book me unless I paid half the amount. Maybe this is customary, I don't know. Would I use them again? no

Puget Sound Electric Co. is dependable, friendly, and thorough. The owner, Charlie, feels like an ole' friend that will look out for you. I had my detached garage completely rewired including a new underground line from the house. Charlie came out and gave an estimate within days of my initial call. He provided an estimate/work scope that aligned with my project goals. His team completed the work in one day and even cleaned up after themselves. Charlie and his team are really clean-cut and respectable. Puget Sound Electric does a great job for a fair price.

Had our heater go out at night on a Friday. Gave Allred a call and they picked up immediately. They found a time that worked for our schedule to send someone out. Chris Castro was an amazing technician! He explained everything well and helped us feel we had made the right choice in calling Allred. I highly recommend Allred Heating & Cooling.

To say I had a great experience start to finish with a company is a rarity- but with Mercurio's it was fantastic! Prompt response to initial inquiry, nearly immediate scheduling for the estimate, and once we'd made up our mind, they scheduled for installation the next week!
Customer service has been the consistent theme, and I'm so appreciative-- especially because I won't be sweating this summer!!

These folks replaced 30 electrical outlets and covers for me quickly and at a reasonable cost. Highly recommend!

My experience with All City Electric has been frustrating. I contacted them to install a ceiling fan on my lower floor based on a work colleague's recommendation. Everything I wanted, Chris the electrician said he could not do; e.g., replace a recessed light with the ceiling fan, install a wall plate with speed and light control. Instead, he installed the fan between two recessed lights and wired it so that the only way to operate the fan was by remote control; an additional purchase. He kept the wall plate. The job was shockingly expensive. Fast forward 9-months later when it is warm enough to use the fan for the first time; the fan only operates when the recessed lights are on. We contacted All City to correct this issue, a month later Chris corrects it, and today we get a bill and we will need to hire a contractor for dry wall. Unbelievable and extremely frustrating.

Brandon from Kraft Electric was great from start to finish. He came highly recommended from a friend who he had worked with, and he was able to come out and give us a reasonable quote right away.
We had some under cabinet light put in a recent kitchen remodel, and recessed LED lights in our living room. He and his crew were on time, respectful, and clean. When the job was done, the price was exactly what he quoted me originally.
I would absolutely hire him again, and I'll recommend him to my friends and family.

My drain backed up and everything started leaking out into my basement. I started calling plumbers while collecting water in buckets, and Beacon was the only company that could send someone out that evening. Big points to Beacon for that.
Josh and Brian arrived that night and did everything they could, but a cleanout was needed to hydro jet roots away, and the cleanout installation was going to have to wait until the next day. Again, points to Beacon for fitting me in right away.
There were some other issues that cropped up in this whole episode, but that isn't important to the review.
5 stars for Josh and his team (Brian, Stan). Josh was extremely knowledgeable, creative in solutions, and upheld a very high level of communication throughout the whole process. I am very grateful for Josh's expertise and would recommend him to anyone.
Beacon deserves points for being able to fit me in, but I will say that the whole thing was very expensive. This was under the pretense of emergency services, so I am not surprised necessarily, but I feel pretty confident that I would have been able to have a cleanout installed for less than $9k and the other plumbing for less than $3.5k. With that said, it was hard work, it was sewage, it was done well, and it was done right away. I hope that Josh's team personally sees a lot of the total bill because they deserve it.

Buyer beware. First off, my fault for not getting other bids on the installation of two toilets. Two years ago I had a good experience with South West so they were my first and only call. My wife recently underwent surgery for stage 4 cancer and I needed to get ADA toilets installed quickly. I purchased the toilets separately and had them at my home then called to have them put in. The charge for the installation came to $788.26. More than four tires and shocks, purchased and installed on my car. Yes, there should a premium price paid. But I can't help but think this is entirely too much.
Pros:
Prompt, courteous, professional.
Cons:
Excessively expensive.

We live in an older house (1940's) and needed to see what potential upgrades to our heating and cooling system would even work. So we reached out to Dear services, surprisingly they were able to come out within the next day and we met with Chris at the house.
He was very kind and told us what would be a good fit for us was a slim duct system, he let us know that it would be unnoticeably quiet even standing directly next to the outdoor unit and that it would be the most aesthetically discreet system for our little house. Also shockingly he said that they could get started on the install the very next week which is wild since other companies are booked 6 to 9 months out with installs, so this seemed like an excellent opportunity.
He let us know that if we were able to pay in cash that there is a really nice discount and if we sign up for a three-year service membership package that I'd also be in our best interest. In that moment, with so much money on the line, I felt like getting this discount and the timing, that I was lucky to be able to have a new air-conditioning system before another one of those heat wave summers comes. So I signed and was excited.
Then later that evening I was looking through their company reviews and I just started to cry. A bunch of the yelp reviews for this company are so overwhelmingly poor. I was scared because this was much more money than I could take a risk with. I am not used to spending that much (23$k) and so this felt devastating to me. It was past 8 PM but I decided to just try to call Chris on the cell number that he gave me from his business card and I was surprised that he answered even though it was well past business hours.
I told him what I was scared of and he reassured me that he would be there on the first day and the last day of the job and that he will personally oversee that everything goes according to plan for this installation. His responsiveness and reassurance has really helped put my mind at ease.
The installation should start next week, the first week of April, so I'll definitely be back here to update with what happens next and how it all shakes out in the end. But so far I'm really impressed that Chris has been so responsive and willing to talk me off a cliff.
David J came over on April 5th to start on setting up the electrical stuff, he was nice and spoke to me in a way that helped me understand as a lay person all the stuff he was doing. Really good experience so far.
