Best Electrical Panel Repair in Seattle WA
My previous electrician moved away unceremoniously and without providing any notes or means of getting in touch, which left me in quite a tight spot. All of my drywall was in, and he'd done extensive re-wiring for my kitchen/living room remodel in my 1970s condo - including wiring up a new kitchen island, moving my oven, and installing 17 new ceiling lights across 6 new switches.
I was desperate, and fortunately found Red Line Electric to pick up the final electrical work. They completed my project to my total satisfaction and with incredible speed. I wholeheartedly recommend them for any residential project I can imagine.
Jessica handled my scheduling, was extremely friendly and responsive, and at every turn swiftly worked to accommodate my timeline as best as possible.
Igor was my electrician, and he was clearly experienced and knowledgeable. For a fair initial charge, he spent two hours investigating the previous electrician's work and made extensive notes of the new state of my home's wiring. He also discovered a couple of small mistakes the previous electrician made, and corrected them - for example, a work box was put too far back and had to be cut out of drywall. He then provided me a list of remaining work based on the original goals of my project, as well as an estimate to complete them.
Today is two weeks after that first visit. Igor came on two separate afternoons, and totally finished my project. There were a couple of surprises, and for each Igor patiently explained to me, offered me options, and gave his recommendation. I'm tickled with the work he did - the few cuts into my ceiling/walls were done neatly so my painter can patch them, and he left the worksite cleaner than he found it.

We had a problem with some strange noises coming out of our circuit breaker panel. We called and they were able to come out that afternoon. They looked over the panel, tightened some loose connections, and investigated further to make sure there weren't any overload issues. They replaced a couple outlets that weren't working properly in the kitchen. All in all, Pasha was knowledgeable and very helpful describing what he was doing. He was prompt, fair and reliable.
I've dealt with a lot of sub trades and electricians and I'd recommend this company very highly.

These guys did an awesome job for me. Fast, efficient and per the book. Conscientious beyond anything I've ever encountered in a private contractor. I'd recommend them to anybody needing electrical work.

We had Brian come back to do three recessed lighting projects at our house. What can we say, he did a fantastic job--everything from selecting the layout of the recessed cans to installing them with almost no damage to the wall/ceiling.
Have Brian come to install recessed lighting in your home....it will change the way your house feels and he will do an excellent job.

Seth was great. Reliable and reasonable. Sometimes that's hard to find in an electrician. Would highly recommend.

If I could give no stars I would. Nightmare. Do not use this company. Victor showed up and gave an estimate and told me how to prep the site. I prepped the site exactly as instructed. I was told to dig a 12 wide trench next to a stone wall so I did. I was told where I need to place the hot tub so I placed it exactly where we agreed. The day of the install a different team showed up and explained they couldn't do the job because I needed to cut into the cement slab. Meantime, they tell me the trench only needed to be 6 wide. The 12 wide trench caused the rock wall next to it to collapse. I companied that I wasn't told I had to cut the slab. Victor calls me and tells me he only told me 6 wide trench, and told me to cut the slab. I told him that's not what he told me and he explains I'm wrong, he's been doing his job for years, and warns me I won't get a discount on the job for my mistake. If a contractor tells you that a job requires you to cut your cement slab patio in a very specific location, you would remember that. Seriously. The nerve he has to tell me I forgot that detail. This company's mistake will cost me $1,000 (new trench, paying movers to move the hot tub so I can get access to the dig location and paying them to move it back), as well as the cost of fixing the wall which is going to be something crazy. The worst part is that the install of my hot tub won't happen until after the holidays. The worst customer experience of my life. Look at my other reviews. I only leave good ones. Even when something isn't right, I don't leave a bad review. But this is another level.

Fantastic!! Where to begin? Going through a remodel of our 1986 Lake Wilderness home has proved to be stressful, dealing with contractors, scheduling, and living in the home simultaneously is crazy, but Rick (the owner), came out (on time) for his tour to go over the work we needed (which I'll explain later), gave me a competitive estimate, but more importantly, knew what I needed/wanted before I even did. I didn't have to over explain if that makes sense?
Enter Steve and Oreo. These two guys have been working together for awhile, and it shows! Steve walked the house with me a few nights before starting the work, he took good notes, he (like Rick), understood what we were going for and displayed a level of confidence that I just felt like I could trust. I wasn't disappointed. He and Oreo showed up at 8am everyday they worked to get the job done. They communicated well with me while I was at work, they worked well with the other contractors in the house, and more importantly, did AMAZING work!
Now, here's a brief description of some of the things they did: We had 17 can lights installed throughout the house, all new switches and outlets throughout. A few added switches also. Installed 8 new lighting fixtures, wired our TVs in 3 locations (for hidden wire capability), removed old electrical wall heaters that were suppose to have been disconnected (but weren't all), and inspected them to be sure they weren't active anymore. They were in the attic, in the crawl space, and everywhere in between knocking out their work like they knew what they were doing! Our house is now safer, well lit, updated, and ready to be lived in right!
Was it expensive? Yes, relatively, but we wanted to do it right the first time, and not piece-mail it over many years, and boy we were not let down!
I am definitely having them back for outdoor jobs in the future, or any other electrical needs we may have. Professional, courteous, humorous, knowledgeable, and fast! Go with Wilderness, you will not be disappointed!

I've had a lot of experience working alongside Northstar Electric at the projects I manage in south Seattle. The electricians are prompt, polite, and extremely knowledgeable. Adam is the professional who handles our bidding and he is a friendly and informative face that knows how valuable both our time can be. The business side of the operation is handled by the big boss man Rob Kingsley and Tim Stidham.
Rob is one of the most positive businessmen I've ever met and his outlook on staffing the very best and keeping them happy has built the most reliable electrical contracting business I've dealt with in 12 years of property management. I strongly recommend calling them, they will have your interests in mind when they show up and they are always informative and able.

I had an electrical issue during the recent storm and Shawn and his partner were available on short notice to help out. They diagnosed and fixed the issue and also gave me some good advice on future updates I can do to prevent similar issues. Professional and courteous. Thank you!

As a note, this is an unsolicited review. I have had companies offer discounts, etc for Yelp reviews and facebook posts... but that is not the case with Wickman. I only mention this because I'm sometimes wary of businesses with 100% 5-star ratings... but in this case, Brian and his team deserve every 5-Star rating they get.
Wickman Electric installed an 80A subpanel in my garage, so I could run 220v circuits to some heavy machinery. This was no small task, as there iss considerable distance from the power hookup to the garage (think opposite corners of a cube, if the cube was a two story house). Brian and Jared were creative problem solvers and walked through options. They developed a more efficient and less invasive method of getting power to the garage than two other companies that looked at the problem. Easy decision.
These guys are punctual, professional, and courteous. Little things like removing shoes without being asked... and double checking where I wanted outlets and panels installed. All around great experience.
Thanks Brian!

We heartily refer Jonathan with Sparks Electric. He was on time and completed multiple tasks quickly. We found there was a hot wire in our attic, a tripped circuit in the kitchen, installed five new smoke detectors (two in vaulted ceilings), one closet on/off sensor and a new doorbell. He was well prepared and his price was very fair.

Our experience with Treat's was excellent. Just moved in to a new home and found out the heat pump was not working properly. Matt was right on time, friendly and had us up and running in a short period of time. We were relieved the unit was still serviceable and the bill was not astronomical. Thank you from a tight budget home owner. Will be a customer for life.

I will say overall I had a good experience with these guys. I had an issue with my bathtub where it was leaking. I tried a few quick fixes on my own, but they did not solve the problem. I was contemplating attempting a bigger fix, but called a plumber first.
First thing is first They are on yelp. I wrote a message and they got back to me pretty quickly. I appreciate that a lot. At this point I have to be honest and state that all of this was about a year ago and I remember having no issues at all, but cannot remember the exact events that took place. The few things I remember are they were on time, quick, and seemed fair. Basically what I was hoping was going to be an easy fix, ultimately was, but was definitely something I would not be able to do. They knocked out the job in a hour or so. It was awesome.
Now here comes the negative aspect of the review. And before I get to this point let me once again say I was ultimately satisfied with the job, what they did was well done. After the work was done he wanted to take a look at the water heater to see if it needed to be replaced. This is when we determined it was 14-15 years old and probably needed to be replaced. This part didnt bother me a lot, but we have waited on the replacement and I definitely see that it needs to be replaced eventually, but I am glad i have waited so far. The part that was not great was getting a quote to replace the toilet. The price felt really high, now to be honest I cannot remember the exact number, but I think it was close to $250/toilet and closet o $500 to replace and purchase of a toilet. Now this price didnt seem crazy at the time, but my brother in law and I replaced my toilet with a new one in about 60-120 mins and it cost the price of the toilet and a case of beer. To sum up the negative I would call the work a bit pricey, and in the future will definitely shop around before choosing a single person. Also I would say the water heater thing was a bit predatory. Overall satisfied, but I will definitely shop around.
