HISTORY

Established in 1981.
Founder Stephen Brandeis first began doing business under the Electric Company name in 1981, after obtaining his his Master Electrician license in 1979. We have been operating in the Seattle area since 1993 and we've put together a responsible, hard-working team of electricians dedicated to providing excellent service and workmanship.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

Electric Company founder Stephen Brandeis was born in Queens NY, and graduated from the City University of NY, Queens College with a Bachelor of Science Degree.  Stephen left Queens for greener pastures in 1974 to purchase and run an organic blueberry farm.  He obtained his Master Electrician License in 1979 and began operating as the Electric Company in 1981.  Where did the name come from?  His kids will tell you that he was inspired by one of their favorite TV shows from that era, The Electric Company.  When the family moved to Seattle in the early 1990s the name came with them, and since then the business has grown and more family members have joined the team.  We're proud to be family owned and operated, and we want our customers and employees to feel like family too!

Deja, Dan, and Brian are electric superstars!

We have worked with many Electricians over the years we have owned our home.

Electrical and plumbing are where things can go wrong.

With The Electric Company of Seattle, Inc. (ECS) we feel confident in their work.

Our bathroom remodel was not very big, but as remodels go it was not the easiest.

We needed to switch contractors halfway through the project.

We had a support joist issue and ECS worked with us to meet our new deadline.

The project came together, the lights, outlets, and the heated floor.

Dan is fantastic and made sure that all of the amp checks were completed on our heated floor to ensure the warranty would be in place if needed.

We cannot recommend The Electrical Company of Seattle enough!

Had a laundry list of electrical issues that accumulated over the years (lights, switches outlets not working, etc.). Dan arrived on time and ready to go. In addition to being nice and friendly, Dan is clearly very competent and knowledgeable. He demonstrated that he knew what he was doing and was able to identify the source of each problem. He methodically worked through all the issues,  explained which issues would require more attention and was done with the work well within my expected time frame. Greatly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be having these guys back if/when I have future needs at my house.

We just completed a second round of electrical work with this company because we were so pleased with their professionalism, fair price and great attitude, there was no reason to go anywhere else.   The actual electrical work was spot on and perfectly done, but unlike other firms I've encountered, they show up on time, communicate clearly any additional parts needed, clean up after themselves, and make certain that you're satisfied fully.   Dan is a real gem and the office folks are no-hassle operators.

I used the Electric Co. to replace a burned-out wall heater in my Seattle condo rental.  Deja whom I communicated with was nothing but professional and wonderful throughout the process. She was able to give me an estimate even before the work was completed.  She followed-thru on everything she said she would do.  It's difficult to find honest, reliable and trustworthy contractors these days, but The Electric CO. is one of those companies.  I highly recommend them for any electrical work!

They charge a minimum of $250 to provide a quote based on an in person assessment. Which is okay, but they don't communicate that it's a minimum, and they will charge their hourly rate if your electrical situation and the time to write up the estimate exceeds the $250. Minus a star because they don't communicate these details, but they kindly adjusted my charge to account for the oversight. I wanted to post this because I wouldn't have requested an estimate if I'd known that asking for a quote was a time and materials type of service with $250 being the average.

I was so impressed with the service we got from the Electric Company of Seattle. They were able to give me a next day appointment, and Mike did an excellent job on our repair. He had to cut a hole in the wall to get at some of the wiring, but instead of leaving it open for us to patch later, he installed a bonus outlet! How thoughtful and convenient! This was a fairly small job (2 hours of work) that we'd tried to have looked at several times before, but other companies weren't interested in taking it on. The Electric Company of Seattle responded quickly and courteously, and took our need seriously. Thank you so much.

We are incredibly grateful for Electric Co of Seattle! We had an electrical emergency two days before Christmas, and they came to the rescue. Such fantastic customer service, especially from Deja, who immediately put our request to the top and sent someone over, and Brian who came out to fix the issue.  Brian is extremely professional and knowledgable. Not only did he get to the root of the issue quickly, but he was very careful and meticulous.  We learned a lot in the hour he was at our home, teaching us what likely was the cause of the issue.  We trusted Brian completely and will be using Electric Co of Seattle go forward for all our electrical needs.  Their team was responsive, great to work with and we would highly recommend them any day!

ONERENT MAINTENANCE TEAM tried calling other electrical vendors and found ELECTRICAL COMPANY of Seattle who can repair the electrical problem in the property (SEATTLE) as soon as possible with a reasonable repair quote. Though they don't have any contract with us they chose to give us a go. The maintenance manager, Stephen, was very professional and cooperative in giving us options and we should move forward in fixing the issue. Also, their electrician was very thorough with the diagnoses and was able to correct the issue without delay. Remarkable indeed!

*Reasonable maintenance charges
*Professional
*Excellent communication
*Forward-thinking mentality when it comes to maintenance management process in handling a request.

Do yourself a favor and call him if you're having electrical issues. You won't be disappointed.
Will keep using them as long as they'll have us as a customer!

Dan is awesome.  He came out in October to do some work, and about a month afterwards, an issue came up, so he came out again to address it.  Both times he came over was a great experience.  He explained what was going on and how to fix it, in terms I could understand.  He was conscientious of my budget and super friendly.  Both times, we actually had great conversations while he was getting the paperwork in order.  The second visit fell under their warranty, and no charge to me.

Highly recommend!

Not only the boat experience was amazing and the boat was clean and spacious, but when our friend dropped her keys at the dock into the water, the crew did everything they could to get the keys. Finally, someone jumped in the water and got the keys for us. Thank you!!! Thank you!! What a great experience!!

Amazing service and company.  Steven, the owner, works hard to make sure you are a happy customer and your electric work is excellent.  I own 4 houses in Seattle, and every time I have an electrical problem, I call Electric Company of Seattle.  Steven works with me to provide fast service.  He has also trained an excellent staff of electricians, and Steven supervises most of the jobs.  He also recommends solutions that are reasonable, price effective, and safe.  In all of my houses, he has replaced many parts of my circuit breaker, re-activated old sockets, replaced difficult to reach lights, and re-done a lot of wiring.  He has done this at all hours of the day and every day of the week.

He will give you HONEST advice about the electrical system in your house over the phone for FREE.  He always picks up his phone, and he does his best to make it out the same day.  I wish all electricians were like the electricians at this company.  Experienced, fast, reliable, and friendly.  10 star rating! He always gives me an honest bid before starting work, and his bid is accurate.  NEVER has the bid been lower than my final cost.  He knows the city electrical code, he makes sure you are safe.

One of the first and best stories I have about the company is when my power went out because of a tree branch falling on my house.  Originally, I called another electrician, but that electrician wanted to charge me $250/hour for weekend service and the other electrician recommended a 4-5 day solution.  I called Steven at the Electric Company of Seattle, and he was willing to come out and fix the problem in 1 day at $90/hour.  He had the right parts, and even improved my electric meter setup at NO extra charge.

The only bad thing I can say is that the company is busy!  So it may take a little time to get your bill, but who cares?  The prices are reasonable and always cheaper than other companies in Seattle (SME electric, Mirsky Electric, etc).  Steven is also a good business man and he finds a solution for your problem.

We went into contract in the sale of our Sandpoint home. The buyer's home inspector found the electrical panel had a recall and needed to be upgraded before closing. I called The Electric Company because they had a great review on yelp. I spoke to Deja and she knew the drill when it comes to the time constraints for home sales. They installed a 200 amp service and took care of all the correspondence and permits between them and Seattle City Light. They really took care of us and made it an easy process. The panel was installed a week before the home closing. I highly recommend the Electric Company of Seattle

Positive experience with this company from me. I needed help with the simple job of relocating a range receptacle to accommodate a new range. I called several other electricians and was told it would be over a month, some almost 2 months, till someone could help me out. But then Stephen at Electric Co. of Seattle had someone out in a couple weeks who arrived promptly and completed the job. Super helpful because it was just in time for holiday guests and lots of kitchen use.

The electrician was courteous, professional and got the job done in a timely fashion. We also had him take a look at some other much bigger electrical jobs we need to get done and I will plan to use them in the future.

I found this company I a middle of a frantic craze when I realized I had a partial power outage at my house. Being past business hours, I still called this company and was lucky enough to speak with Stephen Brandeis (like the school :) and he was so helpful. Though he couldn't get here until tomorrow. he said maybe he could help me over the phone. And he did! I was so happy and relieved.

He even offered me suggestions on how to salvage the fridge, bc that was my main concern.

He went above and beyond and I will definitely be calling them again if I ever have any electrical needs.

I'm very pleased to have a new electrician I can refer with confidence!  This company was booked full today as I had an emergent thermostat/furnace wiring problem causing no heat on a snow day!  My usual electrician was out of town, so I called this company because they were close by, and what a blessing, even though they had never worked with me before, the office manager was very caring on the phone, later connecting me with Stephen, who (even though he was not even getting paid for it!!) helped us over the phone to assess our problem for free.  I was blown away by their above and beyond service, just the type of high ethics you hope for in a family run business.  I will be using them again!

Communication to set up a time for replacing some switches was exceedingly poor. After 2 weeks, we finally had a time set up for a weekday morning. My husband stayed home from work, but Stephen never showed up or called, or returned our calls.

I can't speak to the quality of the work, but overall, his quoted hourly rates were high-average. We will not attempt to set up service with this company again.

My thermostat for my base board heaters suddenly stopped working just as it started getting cold.  I pulled off the thermostat to find that many of the wires behind the wall had been burnt.  I called Steve on a sunday around 3pm and told him the situation.  He said that he's definitely seen this happen before and was able to fix it.  He asked when I wanted him to come out and I told him ASAP.  He told me that he had a few stops before mine but could swing by around 5 pm.  He was a bit late but communicated this to me beforehand so I wasn't sitting around wondering where he was.

Once he showed up, he took one look and said that he was able to salvage the wiring.  He cleaned it up and installed a new digital thermostat in about half an hour.  He even checked behind my two other existing thermostats to make sure that the wiring was okay.  His rate ($160 + parts) wasn't terrible (given that it was a sunday and he came on 2 hours notice).  I am very pleased with the work and am considering changing my two other thermostats to digital ones as well.  If i do, I know who to call now.  Thanks!

This is my first time to use an electrician. And my experience is horrible. The electrician Brian drove his truck into my bush in my front yard, and left a huge crack on my wall after finishing the job. And after I talking to the owner Steve, he did not admit that it is possible. He said that Brian drove a big truck that running into bush is normal... and he said that there is no possibilities that they will leave a one foot long crack on the wall...

Maybe this company deliver some good services some time. But my experience is horrible. At the end, I called the owner Steve and said that I will just fix the wall and let go of the crack, and I friendly reminded him of Brian driving into my bush in my front yard and MAY leave the crack on the wall. But he did not admit that there is any possibilities that it would happen... he kept focusing on that they had the business for 35 years, and treated customer right.

Well, the bottom line is that even if they fix the problem but they created damages and would not admit. I don't think that's good customer services.

I called ECOS again today as I have one light in my house that has questionable wiring (fire hazard) and asked if they could come back out to fix it for me.  Steve not only told me that he would send Michael ( the guy who fixed my washer and dry) but he also said he would swing me a deal due to the fact that they had to make a second trip out this month.
I'm really happy with this company.

I do most of my own electrical work, but recently had to rewire my dryer outlet for an updated plug.  I've never done this before, and had a couple of questions about correct wire gauge and proper hookups in the electrical box.

My next door neighbor had recently had her home completly rewired by Electric Company of Seattle, and strongly recommended Stephen's quality of work, reliability of estimate and punctuality.  On her advice I called ECS to see what they would charge for the sort of consulting I was looking for.

To my very pleasant surprise, I got a call back from Stephen within ten minutes of leaving a message with the receptionist.  Stephen very cheerfully listened to all my questions on the phone, and spent at least fifteen minutes answering them for free!  I couldn't believe in this day and age that a person in a profession such as his would be willing to do that.

Given my own personal experience with ELC and my neighbor's, I give my highest rating.

I'm definitely a fan. After trying to get a hold of my electrician for months and getting nowhere fast, on Friday I called the Electric Company and talked to Stephen about my small project.

The following Tuesday morning, Mike came out promptly and installed my two new outdoor outlets. Mike was great - I trusted him enough to leave for work while he was still here. Upon my return found he'd also replaced some outlet covers in the kitchen and tightened another junction box. He locked up the house and left everything clean and orderly.

No surprise on the cost - same as the phone estimate.

I need to wire/install 3 outside porch lights and remove old wire/tube. Definitely will use the Electric Company for that too.

These guys are stellar. They not only estimated lower (and in my opinion more accurately) than all the others I called, they actually charged exactly what they estimated.

i needed something done really quickly and It had to be done soon. It was also a small job so I was worried no one would take it. However, Stephen was really professional and the guy that came out was equally professional. He arrived at the time promised and fixed it in no time at all. He also gave me some great advice on how to hook up my lights without having to spend a fortune. A welcome experience since I hadn't dealt with many electricians before.

Shortly after purchasing a home in Seattle I discovered much of the wiring in the home was not quite right. After spending several hours trying to figure out what was wrong I discovered Electric Company of Seattle. I called in Sunday night and they were able to schedule me in for the next day! The job required troubleshooting many circuits and the electrician stayed late (well past when most companies would pack up for the night) so that I could have my power back on in the evening. I think that really showed their level of service and caring about the outcome for the customer rather than solely the job at hand. I can't think of any other company that could diagnose and resolve all of my issues correctly in just one visit; especially with the time required.

I would highly recommend this company for incredible service, attention to detail, highly qualified professionals, very reasonable costs, and absolutely excellent problem solving abilities. Thanks!!!

This company is truly the best!! If you want to save $$money$$ Call this guy! He literally saved us thousands of dollars, a fridge & freezer full of food on a 90° day, as well as our weekend!! And here's why: We had a major power surge in our area friday evening, that damaged 100s of people's homes. We called around 50 different companies. Most were closed, the ones that weren't were saying it would cost tons extra for after hours service and that it would take a few days to fix anyways for parts since it was the weekend and that they would have to replace the whole electric panel box because our was an old bad brand Zinsco.. So I gave our info to countless operators saying they would have their tech call us to let us know when they could come. Hours later still no call backs. But as our freezer began to melt in a 90° evening and my cell phone with only 4% power, I found the Electric Company of Seattle and spoke to the owner Steven. He answered the phone, none of that pressing numbers game or listening to smooth jazz & ads...But a real human, who cared about me & my situation, and best of all saving me money & time!! He was kind and easy to understand, and threw in some much needed humor after this stressful situation.. Anyways he fixed my issue over the phone, which no one else even offered to do! He gave me a few easy to follow instructions after asking some questions to diagnose my issue. Btw I'm a 30yr old house wife who has no clue about anything electrical. Calling Electric Company of Seattle cost me nothing and every other company quoted me 2k+ !! Steven will be the only one I will call in the future and refer all friends/family/neighbors to for electrical needs!! Thanks again Steven, wish more companies had the honesty & care that you take the time to have!!

The very day my horrible contractors finally declared my endless, frustrating and poorly done remodel complete and packed up their tools and left, an entire circuit blew out and 7 outlets stopped working.

Frustrated and angry, I found the Electric Company of Seattle online and called to have them look at it.  What a difference.

Stephen answered the phone himself, heard my issue, and was at my house w/in 90 minutes.  He diagnosed and repaired the issue in about 20 minutes and charged me a completely reasonable minimum fee.   He was professional, capable, quick and competent.  What more can you ask for?

Well, maybe you could ask your remodel contractors to be that way too, but whatever.

I recommend The Electric Company highly.

My home was is in serious need of re-wiring, something I don't have any interest in learning how to do on my own.  I got Electric Company of Seattle's name and information from Yelp, and noticed from their own website that they offer free estimates, so decided to give them a call.  The woman who answered the phone was very friendly, taking my information and letting me know that she would get back to me and let me know what times may work to have someone come to my house and take a look at all the work I needed done.  Within a couple of hours, I got a call-back and we set up a time for my estimate, between 3:00-6:00 pm on Thursday, April 1.

On the day of my estimate I left work early and headed home to wait for Electric Company of Seattle to arrive at my house.  I waited.  And waited.  And waited.  Problem was, nobody from Electric Company of Seattle ever showed up.  Not only that, I never received a phone call cancelling, rescheduling, or apologizing, even though I know from their previous call-back to me that they had my phone number.

Obviously, since Electric Company of Seattle stood me up, my review/rating does not cover quality of workmanship, pricing, etc.  But, when it comes to reliability and trustworthiness, Electric Company of Seattle fails big-time.  There are plenty of other well-rated electricians on yelp that you should call instead of Electric Company of Seattle.

We had Brian come back to do three recessed lighting projects at our house. What can we say, he did a fantastic job--everything from selecting the layout of the recessed cans to installing them with almost no damage to the wall/ceiling.

Have Brian come to install recessed lighting in your home....it will change the way your house feels and he will do an excellent job.

Have used them twice now.  Once to replace an old service in our house that was on it's last leg and once recently after damage from a windstorm.

Both times they were great to work with and in both instances due to the time sensitive nature of the issues worked very hard with us to be as flexible as they could with their schedule to get us in quick.

Besides squeezing us into the schedule the work was top quality and at a great rate.  I would recommend them to anyone.

Most reviewers here have nothing but compliments for The Electric Co, a few years ago so did I when Stephen gave me an estimate for some work.  I didn't follow through at that time but remember being impressed.

Recently, on a Thursday, I called regarding a wiring upgrade.  The receptionist told me someone would call back and schedule an appointment.  When there was no call by the following Tuesday afternoon I called again, this time speaking with Stephen who told me he would be out after 1:00 Wednesday.  When he didn't show up, or call, by 5:00 I called back and again spoke with him, he said he'd just got back into the office.  Then he looked at his calendar and saw I had been scheduled for Thursday at 2:00.  There were a lot of excuses for the mix-up, new secretary, working long hours, etc. but he didn't accept responsibility for his own mix-up such as telling me the day before he said he would be out on Wednesday.  It as though that conversation never took place.  I explained I'd waited all afternoon and if he couldn't come out now to simply forget it.  Give Stephen credit, he did show up within 45 minutes but there was something about his demeanor that, to me, was a turn off.  Perhaps I was simply ticked off because so much of my time had been wasted.  Wanting to be fair I explained what I wanted, we went through the house and he promised an estimate within a week.  Well, a week later and no estimate.  Perhaps it's time for me to move on.

You need some electrical work done, this is the company to call. We had to have a 220 outlet installed for our new dryer and it was short notice but they accommodated our request. And Brian showed up when he said he would too. He also suggested an alternative that was easier to do (and cost way less) and he did it in less time, saving us a lot of money. Very professional, knew what he was doing. Booyah! Done! Hired this company, they know what they're doing!

If I could give no stars here, I would! My husband and I were impressed by the other Yelp reviews and ended up going with the Electric Company of Seattle for rewiring our whole house. They were able to start the earliest, and had the cleanest looking bid.

What a mistake! The company owner said it could be done in two weeks, but only sent one guy to do the job. His employee showed up late most days, cut over sized holes for the switch and outlet boxes, screwed the boxes in crooked, left huge messes (and cigarette butts - yes, inside our house!), was sometimes thoughtless in the treatment of our property/personal belongings, drilled through a wall vent from 1925 (can't so much pick a replacement for that up at Lowes), and omitted things from our original request - saying we didn't need that sort of light switch, or we didn't need an outlet there...

As for his boss - Very scattered and unorganized. Very rude on the phone when we tried to articulate to him our need for them to finish on time. Returned calls and emails extremely late - not only were they later in the week than he'd promised, but he'd end up calling us at 10:30 or 11:00 at night on some occasions. We had to call and email about 6 times before getting the inspection set up. I'll just say, he was so rude during that phone call I felt moved enough to create a Yelp account and finally write this review - therapy.

I'd ask around and get quotes from many, many other electricians - We wanted to go with Bowie Electric, but the wait would have been too long. Maybe patience really is a virtue!

UPDATE: Despite the above, I am relieved to report the inspection of the work passed. Too bad it couldn't have been with fewer headaches.

I also had Brian come out and help me with some garage electrical work.  He helped me install 220v power, including a new subpanel, and 6 outlets.  He did the job very quickly, and did an excellent job.  can finally turn on my saws without fear of tripping breakers constantly now, so I'm very happy about that.  The price was also very reasonable, less than half of what other electricians quoted.

Brian also took the time to explain how things worked, and gave some suggestions for other improvements I could do on my own.

Also, Stephen was super prompt to reply to my emails -- other electricians weren't even responding to my inquiries, but Stephen was responding as late as 1 or 2am.  He also came out on a Sunday.   I wouldn't hesitate to use Electric company again.

The quality of work that these guys offer is really high, and the prices seem pretty fair compared to estimates we've received from other companies.  So, they get my recommendation from that standpoint.

HOWEVER, this company is very frustrating from an operational standpoint.  I hired them to do a panel upgrade and wiring so that we could convert our old oil furnace to an electric heat pump.  My two gripes specifically are:

1.)  I felt like I had to explain and re-explain myself several times.  I even went to the lengths of drawing up diagrams of my house and putting Steve in touch with the HVAC folks, and I still had to re-explain the work I needed done the night before the job.  Then when the electricians came to do the work, they had me put them back in touch with the HVAC folks again because they needed to make sure that Steve had written everything down correctly.  All in all, all the frivolous communication and re-communication wasted about 2 hours of my time.

2.)  They DO NOT show up when they say they are going to show up.  The night before our panel upgrade, Steve confirmed that they would be coming at 7:00 am.  My wife and I re-arranged our work schedules (canceled meetings, etc) so that one of us could be here to let them in... and they never showed.  When I called Steve (at about 8:00) to ask him where they were, he said he had made a last minute decision to start the job at 9:00 instead of 7:00... and didn't bother to let me know.

...then a few weeks later, the same thing happened...

The HVAC guys mentioned that they needed to have the electrician come back out to do the line-level power hookups before they could turn the new furnace on.  No problem, right?  I called Steve, set up an appointment for 10:15 am today, told the HVAC guys that the electrician would be here at 10:15, it's 11:19, and the electrician is still not here.  I called Steve to ask what was going on, and he said that he got held up and wouldn't be able to come until 2:00.  Once again, he did not bother to let me know.  The HVAC guys already booked up their evening, so now a job that should have been done today has to wait until mid next week...

Anyway:  They do good work when they arrive, but they've probably wasted a cumulative total of about 8 hours of my time (and 2 hours of my wife's time... and the HVAC guys' time) because of poor planning and communication.

Wow, even the response is not accurate. We had not lost power. Our lights occasionally did a hard flicker and had done so for some time. This was not an emergency repair. The city inspector said that  he could flunk the work when he did the inspection since the city mandated grounding band was not installed. I wanted to give Stephen the benefit of the doubt that he would quickly rectify this so I told the inspector not to do that. Maybe if I had the problem would have been attended to quicker.

Choosing an electrician is important business. Sloppy  craftsmanship or unfinished work can lead to serious and even deadly consequences. I suggest that you choose only firms that are highly regarded for their safe, correct, and complete product and are willing to stand behind the quality of what they bill for.

problem:
turning on the lights in the bathroom caused the lights in the two adjacent bedrooms to shut off. required us to reset the circuit breaker each time. also meant we showered in the dark :(

so after procrastinating for nearly a month i decided, at 11 pm last night, to try to find an electrician. i started here on yelp, read a few reviews, then Binged near my house and found Electric Company Of Seattle. Shot them a quick email asking about my issue and within 5 minutes someone had written back. 2 minutes later they called and setup and appt for the following day.

on the day of, Stephen called several times with updates on the whereabouts of Brian (the electrician who would be looking into my issue). It was about 30 minutes off the initial estimate but I was well informed due to the friendly updates from Stephen.

when Brian showed up, he kindly removed his shoes (without having to ask) and came in while i described the problem. he quickly went to the troubled light fixture and found there were exposed wires which were causing the short. the fix was easy and was done and tested in no time. the great thing was all along the way he was explaining the problem and asked if there were any other problems in the house while he was there.

things to note about Brian:
- very friendly
- showed me what he was doing along the way (thinking out loud)

stuff i learned:
- if the circuit trips right away it's probably a short
- using space heaters in an old house will probably cause the circuit to trip (since it's drawing too much power)

price:
$160 - for initial call and one hour of work
(haven't really compared to others to know if this is a good price or not)

We wanted to upgrade our electrical service from 100 to 200 amps. I got four bids and not only was Electric Company of Seattle the best price, by far, they came quickly and got the work done when they said they would. Stephen and Brian are professional, respectful, and very attentive to details. I highly recommend them! Working with them saved over $2000!

I used ECOS to replace a bathroom fan and move a thermostat down the hall and around the corner.  Mike was on time, friendly and skilled.  He worked very hard to keep things clean before, during and after the job and even patched the hole in the wall from the old thermostat and did the first skim coat.  I would use them again and would recommend to others.  Job well done.

These guys were great.  I needed an electrical outlet installed on the inside of a cabinet that I wanted to use for flat panel TV I needed mounted nearby.  Stephen answered my call personally and while discussing what I needed done said his company could do the entire TV mounting operation as well.  Stephen drove to my house in Laurelhurst within the hour and gave me an estimate.  Stephen sent Mike to do the work the next day.  Mike was as professional and courteous as Stephen.  These guys are great.  They charged me exactly what they estimated the cost would be.  I'll use Stephen and Co. every time I need electrical work done.

In the process of selling my home, I had an inspection that required some electrical updates. These updates had to be done immediately due to my time schedule. I called Stephen Brandeis. He was able to come over within 24 hours. He put a quote together, then personally completed the repairs and provided me with a detailed invoice explaining the repairs made. He was professional, reasonably priced and FAST.

I received several quotes on a dishwasher/disposer circuit for our kitchen, and most were several weeks out.. These guys are great and were available right away, Brian was sent out and did an excellent job, very thorough and lots of experience. We will be using them again in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work!
