Best Electrical Panel Repair in Seattle WA
I'm editing and updating this review. Though I am still encountering things in my house that melted during the 99 degree fiasco, like my ibuprofen liquicaps, Seatown has fixed the damage that was done. The thermostat that they destroyed the first day has been fixed. The cooling and heating works as it should. It took many visits and a lot of hard work on their part, and I really appreciated their desire to get it all fixed. In the end, all is well.
I thought for a long time about this next step-- but I decided to give them another chance and have them do the HVAC maintenance for my office. They did that yesterday, and were on time, informative and helpful. The cost is about what I would have expected. I can't bring myself to make it a 5-star review, but I am still doing business with them, which is a remarkable turn-around after the initial disaster.

I called Dean about a stopped bathtub and he showed up within 24 hours to take a look. He did warn me on the phone that my old house might mean exceptionally old plumbing - something that's outside his purview - and unfortunately that turned out to be the case.
However, after carefully explaining the issue in detail he recommended another well-reviewed company that could help sort things out. I found Dean to be very personable and genuine, and will definitely be reaching out in the future for help when I need it. Thanks Dean!

The worst experience I've ever had with a company. Scheduled a 10-12 appointment for today (Monday) last Thursday. This morning at 8am they called to confirm. I did not see or hear from anyone after that. I called at 2pm for an eta they told me they would let dispatch know and get back to me. Nobody got back to me. Called back at 4 and talked to Julie at dispatch. She told me I was next up whatever that means and assured me she would get back to me. Julie never got back to me. I just called and told them IF they had someone on the way to cancel it (it's 6:20). Good part of a Monday wasted by terrible business practices and being strung along. Combine this with the other bad reviews this company should be avoided as there are better options.
Edit: it's now 7:45 and Julie left me a voicemail just now saying they wouldn't be able to make it out today. I don't know what's worse the fact that I was led to believe I was going to get service at all today or the fact there is a total disconnect going on at southwest plumbing. I called an hour and a half ago out of courtesy (something they are struggling with) to make sure not to send anybody out. This is pathetic.

We had city water flooding into our basement through a drain in the floor. They answered the phone and were able to come within 3 hours which was amazing. The plumber that came to do the inspection was very pushy stating we had to do a camera test and a portion of all of the system would likely need to be replaced. I asked if they could help with the standing water and they said yes but that would be an additional 900 to rent the equipment, I had a sump pump but needed some assistance to hook it up. They would not work with my equipment or instruct what equipment to buy. It was rent theirs or nothing. They seemed frustrated and unwilling to answer questions, or provide any information on what the issues might be but instead told me the services I needed.
Another plumber came out same day and was very communicative. The issue was not my sewer line but that I needed a back flow valve installed to prevent city run off from entering my house (due to excess rains and snowmelt). I am glad I went paid the service charge and went with another company. The $1200 for a new blackflow valve is so better than thousands to replace or fix a systems that was not the problem.

I'll be sure to post everything in here for you guys to make your own decision but I'm gonna start by saying these people are absolutely predatory and if you decide to go with them good luck in paying 10 times what you would for a normal plumber.
I put two photos into the review so you can use your own eyes to see how ridiculous it is what they charge me.
I called them on a Sunday to come do work on a mixing valve that was failing. When I talk to the rep I even sent him a picture exactly the work. They told me there was $100 dispatch fee and that's all they told me. The guy shows up and does a 10 minute assessment and then says it is a $1700. Are then ask them is it 1700 because you say that's the high-end what if you do it quicker he said that you can call and check with management. So he did the work in 53 minutes. As you can tell from the pictures it was minimal work. I got a bill for $2009. When I called the office while he was still on site and they said they didn't have any managers and I said I had to wait till Monday to dispute the charge. Of course they said that because then Josh the plumber to run out of here as quick as possible. Like I said it was exactly 53 minutes that I shown on my ring of when he came in and when he left. So I contacted this person named Mark J. at Beacon and let me tell you I've never met such a disrespectful manager in my life. Tells me to stop in the middle of trying to explain it to him he gives me the wrong email address. And so when I finally get through after four days later sending them all the information His response below is the following.
The invoice shows that the scope of work and price were discussed and approved in advance before any work began. The pricing matches up perfectly and is quoted directly out of our book. Meaning this is the same price we would charge anyone else for the same service. We also note that the job was completed to the customer's satisfaction as identified by the customer's signature.
The scope of work is also appropriate, and the quality of work is correct.
We reviewed several pics to note that there seems to be a value issue. There are pics of arrival and leaving times. This is not germane to Beacon's pricing structure. The price would be the same if it took a qualified well experienced Tech like Josh 1 hour or a less experienced or slower Tech 2- 3 hours. The customer does not have to worry with regard to the time or number of Techs on site.
We note a pic for a part from Lowes. This is also included in Beacon's pricing structure.
We share with people that this is like going out to a nice restaurant and having a $150 steak dinner, and you stop at Safeway the next day, and you see that steak on sale for $10.99 an LB., and you question the prices. The point is there is a lot more that goes into the job than a single part and arrival and leave times. You are for paying the best Plumbers with the best response times in the area. Beacon has the best equipment and stocked trucks in the business, and you are guaranteed to get quality work and not be left with a leaking toilet.
This Tech does need to work on the writing.
.We do our best to mitigate any price concerns by purposefully reviewing things with our customers to make sure there are no questions or concerns before we begin the work. We don't want people to have sticker shock. That's obviously not our goal.
I appreciate you reaching out to us, and I'm happy to answer any additional questions you might have

If I could give zero stars I would. Came out and said everything was ok and we paid our bill for what they did. Only to get a new proposal just before our house was to go on the market. Terrible communication and felt like a scam. I've heard others had the same complaint about this company. I would never refer anyone to them.

Troy and Kevin came out earlier this month to update/upgrade our 25-year-old hot water heaters. We have an unusual furnace/geothermal system, but the guys handled it all very professionally... they were very Covid-conscious, always masked and distanced... they cleaned up completely, including the mess made when one of the old tanks leaked rusty water into the garage and across the driveway. It's nice to now know we're not drinking, or showering in rusty water! Would definitely have them out again!

I was a little hesitant to have people in my home unattended but, i was told not to worry because they were licensed & bonded. They were supposed to fix my breaker and 4 lights that were faulty probably due to breaker issues. Pse came to my house 1st thing & were turned away by resicon. They spent a full day @ my home&then left. I had to call them for an explination.they told me they had to come back next day.i said i cant take anymore time off so i had to leave them alone@home. When i arrived after work none of the lights had been fixed.i'm hoping that none of the sockets fry like thaey had before.i was told the main box only pse could fix was the issue. What a waste of time. Later i found that my lights in my garage no longer were not working. I was told unless i could get more county funding, they would not @ least fix the garage lights that were working before they got here. I would not reccomend them AT ALL. Honor your word.

We had a bit of a rocky start with finding a day and time that worked for everyone, but they really owned up to it and resolved the issue quickly and efficiently.

I booked an appointment for electrical work over a week ago. They took the appointment, confirmed it and then today when they were supposed to be here I received a call saying they couldn't keep the appointment because I was outside of their service area. Seriously? They couldn't have known that when they accepted the work to begin with?
Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend them to anyone anywhere. They are incompetent.

Black Hills did an outstanding job for us on our challenging furnace/heat pump installation. We have a master suite that was added on by the previous owner in a nonprofessional way(DIY). It made Black Hill's job very difficult and we showed them the potential problems up front, but they gave their word they would be very responsive and make it work. They were quick to reply to trouble calls during installation and now we have an excellent HVAC system.
