I recently had a leaky faucet get out of hand, which led to a flooding issue. I called Dean, who answered immediately. He quickly helped me troubleshoot the issue over the phone and even had me send him some photos to make sure we were on the same page. He was professional, patient, and took the time to explain the possible issues to me. Working with Dean was an exceptional experience (and covid-safe too!). I highly recommend giving Dean a call if you find yourself needing plumbing help.

Start Freakin, when you call Beacon for plumbing/septic. Our septic broke on a Sunday and we had no choice but to call emergency service. The service was great. They were timely, friendly, and explained their services. We knew the price could be double what we might pay for service. We paid almost 4 times the cost of our local septic service. A job that would have been $600 tops, ended up costing $2,200. They pumped, and found the problem, but were not able to fix it that day. When they found the broken pipe they said they could return the next day and fix it for an additional $3600. I had it fixed by my local septic service the next day for $600. That is 6 times the cost. Fortunately, we were in a position to pay the fees. I feel for those who have to use a payment plan. Beware of price gouging. We will stay in a hotel next time and wait for Monday. It will save us hundreds of dollars.

Do NOT use this company, they are absolute crooks. We called since they were used by the previous owners of our house and they had done the inspection for the sell. The technicians are all nice guys and we have a complicated septic system but essentially they sold us a new pump for a septic system that was disabled at least 10 years ago. When we discovered that this pump was not needed, the owner tried to convince us that we did need it and talked down to me and belittled the previous owners. They eventually did remove the pump and then only refunded me about 1/3 of the cost. I have called numerous times to try to receive an itemized receipt and no one calls me back...this has been going on for months now. There is absolutely no internal communication, even when they have a map on file of our septic system from the inspection-they still tried to convince us that we needed a new pump for a retired system. In this market, literally any other company would have to be better than them. And it turns out we just had a regular old clog that my husband was able to repair on his own.

Valve leak was getting progressively worse on Sunday night. Mario was a real professional. He arrived in less than 30 minutes after our call and was diligent in finding the problem. Very clear explanation of what needed to be done.
Mike S and Stanford M arrived early for appointment the next day. They clearly knew their jobs. Very thorough in diagnosing the problem and explaining solutions. Answered our questions clearly. Professional, respectful, and considerate.
We will call Beacon again if the need arises.

Just an FYI, Harts Services does charge a $79 service fee! If you choose to go with them, then the fee is waived, otherwise you loose $79!

I can't speak to the quality of their work, but we had them come out to give us a quote for a complete repipe of our house. The person who came out made weird comments about how fancy our instruments were (we have a cello) and when we asked questions about some of our current pipes they gave us wrong answers (we asked these questions as a way of determining how knowledgeable/trustworthy they are). When it came to the quote, they gave us a quote for about $34,0000 pex, or about $50,000 copper. This is pretty crazy high, so we decided to go with someone else who did a great job and only cost about 13,000 for pex. They've since left multiple voicemails asking me to call back to discuss their insane quote and have been sending unsolicited spam emails. Since they don't take my non-response as enough of an answer, I decided to write this review.
