Best Electrical Panel Repair in Seattle WA

Red Line Electric Services Electrician
Our home office outlets suddenly stopped working on a Sunday night and urgently needed repair. I put out a request and Red Line was able to schedule us within the week. Our electrician arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the issue to one outlet that had failed. He explained the issue in detail and was upfront about the cost to install the upgraded replacement. He was also respectful of our health and property, which was highly appreciated. Would happily hire Red Line again if ever needed!

Finish Solar Electrical Electrician
Avoid this Business, as it should be called Un-Finished Solar. Initially, I read the positive Yelp reviews (although all of their Yelp reviews note smaller electrical projects), followed-up with some DM with Yelpers about this business and then took the leap in having them do over $15k worth of electrical and solar work: A big mistake!!!
Yes, they started strong and had good ideas and a fair price (which is why I went with them). I intended to separate the big solar/electrical project into smaller projects, so they could prove themselves and I would pay upon completion of each project. Yet, I let them convince me for a full $14k project, which they couldn't finish! Then they said they needed another $1,400 to complete the project (for a total of over $15k) but they took all my money and ran after completing about 2/3rds of the project!
Since 3/15/23 I've been sending them messages to secure a time to complete the project. At first, they gave several questionable reasons for not arriving (we're on our way now, we came by yesterday when you weren't home, our materials are on back-order, or my favorite of if you cancel your dispute resolution process with Venmo, we promise to complete the project [which I subsequently canceled the dispute resolution and they still didn't come out to complete the project]. Now they just ignore my messages.
At this point, I am trying to get some of my money back and hire someone that can complete this solar/electrical project. A big hassle! Could they do very small projects? Yelp reviews seems to indicate perhaps. However, let my review caution you about spending several thousands of dollars with them (also particularly sketchy business since they ask for cash or peer-to-peer banking versus credit cards). Buyer Beware!

Vets Electric Company Electrician
Going on 24 hours with no quote. It's a small job. Sent pictures to Cassie and STILL nobody contacted me. I'll pay someone else to do the job or I'll just do it myself. Veterans are NOT a priority obviously.

Kemly Electric Electrician
Although the service wasn't terrible, the rates are outlandish. They installed 2 Nest outdoor Cameras. Pretty straightforward job, but they left jagged holes in the drywall. Not a very clean job. They charged us $225+tax. 7 months later the Nest stopped working and we troubleshooted it on our own. When we called we explained that we thought it was the cord and wanted them to come out and fix it. They came out and performed the same steps we did and said yep it's the cord. Sorry we don't have a cord. even though we provided the info prior to the appointment, explaining what we had done already (replaced camera, tested outlet, tested power adapter). He was there 30 minutes tops, according to our 1 remaining working Nest camera, and said he would come back and fix it when we got a cord. All good until I got an invoice 2 days later for $225 plus tax. I was told that I'd have to pay another $130 to get the cord run through two holes. So that's $355+ tax to fish a cord through existing holes. Then...when I disputed the rate, which involved two phone calls and 30 more minutes of debate, I got the bill down to $135 for one hour of work, despite him not being there an hour. They said I was paying for his travel time (the company is less than a mile from me) and cord research (it took me 5 mins on Amazon to get this special cord). It's not over though. Later that night they sent me a revised invoice from the initial install that I had paid 7 months ago, saying, Sorry, we undercharged you last year. Please pay $168 more dollars--we gave you 10% off.  I couldn't believe what I was reading. No company who wants to stay in business does this. Update We decided to replace the cord ourselves and it took 15 minutes. The advice is don't do business with them unless you understand and are willing to pay $500 to install $200 equipment.

Valor Electric Electrician
Had some work performed by Valor Electric for the first time in 2017 to rewire my house that we discovered had knob and tube. My husband just passed away and It was a tough time for me.Victor came and he had so much compassion by how he talked to me and explained to me how the process and details were. I hired them again to help me rewire a 3 bedroom 1 bath addition that I am currently building. I am very impressed with the company. They were extremely professional and courteous. Jeron and Royal's work was great quality, neat and they cleaned up in the areas they worked in. Prices are very good and service is top notch. This is a company that builds their bussiness based on honesty, hard work and kindness of their hearts. I will never forget how much Victor helped me especially during the hardest time of my life. I would highly recommend to others. Thank you Valor.  -Leslie M-

Electric Company Of Seattle Electrician
Deja, Dan, and Brian are electric superstars!

We have worked with many Electricians over the years we have owned our home.

Electrical and plumbing are where things can go wrong.

With The Electric Company of Seattle, Inc. (ECS) we feel confident in their work.

Our bathroom remodel was not very big, but as remodels go it was not the easiest.

We needed to switch contractors halfway through the project.

We had a support joist issue and ECS worked with us to meet our new deadline.

The project came together, the lights, outlets, and the heated floor.

Dan is fantastic and made sure that all of the amp checks were completed on our heated floor to ensure the warranty would be in place if needed.

We cannot recommend The Electrical Company of Seattle enough!

SMC Electric Electrician
I have learned over the years that electricity was something best left to the experts, Seth was my first call--and my only call. I had planned to get bids from several electricians, but once I talked to  Seth at SMC Electric, I stopped searching. Not only was he prompt, honest, and very courteous, he was also extremely professional. Seth was very upfront with project costs and time, and had everything done well ahead of what was promised. Seth even answered all my questions while he was working. It's really rare to find his level of work ethic these days. Thank you for your help Seth from SMC Electric!

Northstar Electrical Electrician
I am so glad to have found Northstar Electrical. We will definitely be using them for any future electrical work. They came to install four ceiling fans in our home. When other electricians were quoting us four weeks out to stop by for an estimate and installation sometime after that, Northstar gave me a same day estimate and scheduled installation for the very next week. Sander and Sergej, the electricians who installed the fans, were excellent. Courteous, friendly and very hardworking. There were a few hiccups during installation (because of how our house was built and because of how the manufacturer shipped the fans) and Sander and Sergej didn't get angry or frustrated, they just solved the problems as they came up. Our fans were installed quickly and correctly and are working beautifully. Rob, the owner, and Patrick, the Service-Project Engineer, were great to work with as well--knowledgeable, considerate, and responsive. This is a great company. I highly recommend working with this team of professionals.

Wickman Electric Electrician
Brian's work was prompt and efficient, and he solved our problem in no time at all.  We had two electrical outlets that had gone out, and he figured out that it was connected to the hot water faucet by the kitchen sink.  I was very impressed that he figured that out from not knowing how the house was wired in the first place.  Quick and impressive work!  He was also polite and professional and explained everything to me clearly.  His rates are also more than fair.  True expertise.  Very highly recommended!

Sparks Electric and Service Electrician
We had been looking for an electrician since around Dec 2022, but didn't get around to it until April 2023. All the estimates we got have been in the upper $1000s so it was hard to decide. But then I was looking at our local fb Duvall pages and Jon's business came up. We called him and told him that we needed our car charger installed, but already had a full panel so we needed some things moved around before he can install the charger. We waited for his company's contractor's license to get approved before he started working on our project, since our HOA required it. When it came time to install, he mentioned that he'll be able to move some wires around to make room for the charger. He gave us about 30AMPS with our 240V plug and so far we haven't had any issues with it. And by far, he was the cheapest among my other estimates and was very friendly and communicative with the process. He finished our project in like 3hours or something. He even mounted the charger for us. He also did mention that our Autel charger was easy to install since he didn't have to open up the charger box to be able to screw it on the wall, unlike other chargers, so I guess it was an easy job for him too. Overall customer service was awesome, and we definitely recommend his professionalism and service.

Treat's Heating and Cooling Electrician
We have been having treat's heating and cooling perform yearly maintained for 25+ years. They installed our original heating equipment as well as our new upgraded equipment. They have always been on time to perform maintance and kept our furnace and air conditioner working perfectly. In the past 25yrs we have had only 1 issue with our furnace working properly, and when we did, they were there to repair it the next morning.
Now, we are looking forward to the next 25yrs.

Mr. Electric of Greater Seattle Electrician
I cannot thank Don enough for coming out to give me an estimate for chandelier installation.
Right before he arrived at my house, an exhaust fan in my laundry mat has just passed away.
He verbally told me how to put in a replacement exhaust fan which wasn't even why he was there!
To make a long story short, I booked an appt to install crystal chandelier in the foyer.
He worked efficiently & speedy.
I will definitely call them again!!!

Hunt's Services Electrician
I used Hunt's plumbing about 8 months ago to snake the waste line that the dirty water from the clothes washer goes into.  Now its backing up again so I had them out to take a look again.  I gave 2 stars because they were polite and on time.

The cost to snake the same line as last time has increased in price about 10% from 8 months ago, and they told me to repipe that 10 foot section of pipe will cost $1400!?!  I've repiped whole houses for 5k, but this is only 10 feet, should be way cheaper.

When I balked and asked if they could do it at time and materials (since I know its less than $50 in parts and should only take a few hours and I'm expecting $80-100 per hour) I was told their hourly rate is $400 per hour!  WTF?  Are your plumbers practicing lawyers and doctors on the side or something?  Outrageous pricing for a service plumbing co.

Edit:
I found another licensed plumbing company who successfully completed the work for $394.
