Needed help replacing an old chandelier. Red Line responded quickly, and was able to come out within a few days. They took care to carefully remove the old bulbs and fixture, and patiently adjusted the cords on the new one. Everything looks great now!

From the moment I contacted Dependable Electric I knew I had found the right company to rewire two outlets in a bathroom of our house built in the 1950s.  Paul was responsive on the phone and quoted me a cost for coming to troubleshoot.  Frank and Tim showed up right on time, were personable and professional, listened well to our telling of the problem, then got down to work.  My husband briefly checked in on them twice during two hours they were here and appreciated their expertise.
When the job was successfully completed, the charge was exactly what Paul had quoted.  We highly recommend Dependable Electric.

I have a different type of review, a little on the rare side I think.

First, we all realize that at any moment, our path may take a different turn. Mine has. Why is this important in this review, you might wonder? Because I am a recent, now former employee.

My garbage disposal is operated by a vacuum switch in the countertop.  The switch is powered by an outlet under the sink, and next to the outlet in the same fixture is a rocker switch that also controls the disposal.  
The other day the whole system stopped working.   I checked the voltage at the receptacle: Zero.  I tested for a GFCI tripping with no result.  Other outlets and fixtures including the dishwasher were working just fine.  
Baffled, I called Bayless for advice and anticipated a costly service call.  First, he had me go to the breaker, which I cycled.  No result.  He then had me turn on the switch and the vacuum switch at the same time.  BINGO!
So no need for a service call.  Problem solved.

Called up to get a quote for some work, was told they charge the hourly rate to have someone come out and write up an estimate.

No thanks, I'll reach out to the plethora of other electrical contractors who will gladly give me a free quote.

I had the misfortune of driving in front of the owner of this company today. In a van with his number and company name clearly posted all over it, he rode my ass all the way through two school zones, driving half of it giving me the middle figure and attempting to film me while driving. He had only one hand on the wheel while messing with his phone, in his company vehicle. Would not recommend his services to any one, not with the lack of courtesy and rudeness that he drives with.

I hired Reign City Electric to replace my electric panel and install a wall heater. They were initially responsive during the estimate process, so I hired them.

We scheduled a time for them to come do the work, and they were a no show. The owner said they forgot to put it on the calendar.

We scheduled a new time for them to come and when they arrived, they said they couldn't start the job at 10am and needed more time. It didn't make sense why they would schedule something at 10am, but then arrive only to say they couldn't do it.

Eventually, they finally completed the job. But a week or so later, our lights started flickering. I've been calling and texting for 3+ weeks to no response. Today, our lights completely went out on one level of our home. We've continued to call and text multiple numbers, but have not heard anything back.

I would avoid this company at all costs due to their unreliability in scheduling, unresponsiveness, and low quality of work.

Tapps Electric is either incompetent, dishonest, or both. The owner Will is rude, unhelpful, and does not care about customers. I lost count of how many times Tapps Electric provided false information and did not return calls and messages left to the office. Multiple estimates for different jobs I received were incomplete or contained false information. Due diligence and professionalism were totally absent. Only after work finished and failed was I told that if I wanted anything to actually work, it would cost 4x the original quote, even though everything was identified before work started. Either it was known the planned job wouldn't work but work proceeded anyway, or it should have been known the job wouldn't work based on the facts that were identified in advance. Those explanations reduce to dishonesty or incompetence. The owner says it's not their problem. Responsibility appears to be a foreign concept to Tapps Electric.

In addition to the false information, general incompetence, and waste-of-your-time  owner, Tapps Electric technicians also quit the company and left in the middle of a job, damaged my interior walls, left behind giant messes of debris and garbage each time at each site, left the job as done when it wasn't, caused my overhead wires to smoke and burn which could have burned down my garage, no-showed on appointments to troubleshoot a failed installation after I had paid in full, and wouldn't return phone calls about the no-shows. This install was supposed to take one day, and instead it took more than two months of failed visits, unreturned calls, and no-shows for the owner to say 'too bad, we took your money and nothing works, and we knew it wouldn't work or should have, but that's your problem'.

Do yourself a favor and avoid Will and Tapps Electric.

I hired Custom Electrical Services to install a Chargepoint EV charger at my parking space. Even though I don't live in the area, they did a great job of keeping me informed with great communication throughout the project.  It was a team effort as I received communication from five different individuals in their office - I appreciate that they have an organized deep bench of staff members.
The project was done within about a week of me first reaching out! Very impressive responsiveness.
Their work was of high quality and the price they charged was consistent with the value I received.

Seth Robertson came out and explained why & how they work and how many of the whole house fans they offer were as options for us. He inspected the house for what would be every option available for us given sq ft etc and got back to us with quotes very quickly! Let us know up front some of the issues they've had in other communities and what we may have as any hold ups in our own. After doing some of our own investigation into the fan options they offered even before calling for this appt we definitely decided to go with the stealth fan once we had our quotes in, instead of a much later investment into an AC and WOW are we happy we did! Under 4K fan vs 15k quoted for an AC between power line, pad pouring and install! YIKES! So fan it was! This Summer while not TOO bad and thankfully not Too smoky either but it was going to be bad for me since I'm pregnant currently and due late September! We knew our house would become unbearable upstairs pretty early on given the last years experience with it and pretty Much stay that way u til fall(sweaty every day and no way would
I cook inside again until cool!) without the greatest airflow design being our home build from 1948. We've previously had a whole House fan back in NC (which is pretty pointless there given the high humidity) but we've experienced the LOUD of what is possible for house fans. And this is NOT that! This is stealthy! We LOVE our new cooler house and the quiet it comes by! A literal breeze through the House when we open the doors and turn that fan on! Plus it's remote operated from anywhere in the house so it can be bedside, in your kitchen or kept near the fan! Whatever makes sense to YOU! They not only got us a great finance option but came and installed the fan quickly and effectively while We were away on a trip and had a house sitter here in our stead. They rocked it entirely and while They were HERE, we also asked them to investigate an ongoing two year issue with our outdoor receptacle and pool light we'd had TWO previous electricians work on while they upgraded the electrical boxes and mainline to bring up to a more effective standard for our size of house. They fixed it THAT DAY and at very low cost considering how long we'd been delayed in this outdoor enjoyment process with other crews! AMAZING and skilled crewmen on their team! FINALLY a Trustworthy electrical crew! We are now about to have them come quote us midmonth and likely install a 15 amp dedicated line so we can move some appliances around as that had been in the plan from our purchase and Move in two years ago but after not getting decent treatment by two other crews I had delayed my dream kitchen. Now I KNOW who to Hire & trust from here on out anytime we need electrical work. I'm sure they're just as skilled at plumbing and I'm certain eventually we will need some of those services as well as we add a bathroom to our basement in the future agenda. I can't give this company enough accolades given what we've previously hired in the area, they were angels! And Seth is a very prompt and very effective communicator! Upgrade as we were away but they did an excellent job and even FaceTimed us to help Get some questions answered while we were away! We are SOOO
Thankful between the team at the office being effective and keeping to appointments as well! A very nice team at Eco Electric entirely! If you need a cooler house you should really consider them, the fans only they offer and their team to install! We are amazed and so thankful! My pregnancy has been better off for not having to move into Our basement to even exist without dripping like these two years past (or live in daytime Darkness by shutting all the blinds up and putting expensive fans to run in every nook and cranny to exist)! AND I could even cook and get rid of The oven or electrical burner heat! NICE change there from having to Grill EVERYTHING outside to Keep that heat outside! 20 Mins with the fan on and you'd never know I even cooked! YES! YES! YES! All The YES! Alex and his crew were great to work with. Despite being very busy he is responsive and on time. We had several small items that needed to be addressed in our 1908 house which added up to about a day and a half of work. I felt that his pricing was very fair and they completed everything in a timely manor. They were also very understanding about working around another contractor we had in at the same time installing some plumbing lines. We had to have him back out because the outlet for the garbage disposal wasn't quite right. He easily took care of it free of charge. We will definitely call A&A again!

This is how a service experience should go.
We needed several small installations: a ceiling fan, laundry room exhaust fan, and two ceiling lights. All jobs that the big guys are usually too busy for but are too tough for us.
This was a great experience from the first call. Dylan (the owner) answered my call, asked many appropriate questions about the proposed work, and agreed to do the work. He also provided specifics as to rates and expected time to complete the job (by the way, his time estimates turned out to be dead on).
Dylan called a few times subsequently to confirm the schedule and scope of work-- that's rare today.
Dylan and Austin showed up on time and ready to roll. Dylan runs the show and is extremely friendly, professional, and experienced.  They do so many things the right way: booties, drop cloths to catch drywall dust, complete vacuuming and sweeping in work areas, etc.  They even offered to break down the cardboard packaging and put it in the recycling bin!
Their work was impeccable as well.  Every fixture installed exactly as we had hoped.
One more thing: Dylan is a young but very experienced electrician who has worked hard to get to a place where he has now launched his own company. If you think rewarding a young entrepreneur with your dollars for great service provided is important these days, well that's just another reason to use Fenter Electric.  Worked for us!!

Highly recommend Harris Electric! Very professional and timely. They did a great job installing our TESLA Wall Connector. They were quick to respond to our inquiry and provided options when we inquired about installing a NEMA 1450 or the Wall Connector.
