Amazing service from this group. Greg was great to deal with upfront and then the crew did amazing work to replace 3 junction boxes and check the power levels in a couple other areas. Highly recommend

To start, I know zippo about electricity so when my garage plugs quit I was at a loss.  I  called Bayless Electric and within minutes Greg returned my call.  He listened to me and told me what to do.  It didn't take but two minutes on the phone but this was time out of his busy day. The GFI needed resetting.  This is what customer service is all about.   He gained a lifetime customer.

My garbage disposal is operated by a vacuum switch in the countertop.  The switch is powered by an outlet under the sink, and next to the outlet in the same fixture is a rocker switch that also controls the disposal.  
The other day the whole system stopped working.   I checked the voltage at the receptacle: Zero.  I tested for a GFCI tripping with no result.  Other outlets and fixtures including the dishwasher were working just fine.  
Baffled, I called Bayless for advice and anticipated a costly service call.  First, he had me go to the breaker, which I cycled.  No result.  He then had me turn on the switch and the vacuum switch at the same time.  BINGO!
So no need for a service call.  Problem solved.

In this age of difficult supply chain, difficulty getting anyone to respond, and the great resignation it is a breath of fresh air to have a craftsman who is competent, responsive, kind and gives a good value for the money. Greg installed our Generac generator earlier this year. Greg was very reasonable. We were very satisfied with his work. Greg always answers his phone or quickly follows up whenever we tried to contact him.  Highly recommend!!

My GFI blew and after replacing it still wouldnt work. I'm no certified electrician mind you.
1. He actually answered his phone.
2. Once he found out how simple it was he walked me through potential fixes. I was able to fix it on my own and save 198.00. ( that price is cheaper than everyone else BTW) highly recommend.

When we moved into our house in April of this year, we discovered that our house is pretty much ALL-ELECTRIC!  The heat, hot water heater, refrigerator, freezer, oven, and everything but our fireplace are all powered by PSE (Puget Sound Energy).  When the electricity stops flowing here it will be a disaster.  In fact, a few weeks before we arrived the power did go out here for a few hours.  So, after we unpacked a million boxes, our first order of business was to find a standby generator - and someone to properly install it.  But since the state of Texas JUST experienced a major power outage and a huge disaster because of it, we were sure it would take a year or more until we could have a generator installed at our house.  We contacted Greg Bayless anyway, hoping to get in line for a generator.  Long story short, in less than 30 days after my first call to Greg, he and his crew had our new Generac 22kW generator installed, balanced, tested, and up and running!  Now, I don't know if Greg has any more generators on hand right now.  But I do know that he is only one of a very small number of factory-authorized Generac Generator dealer-installers in this area.  And, he is a highly skilled professional electrician who is well-versed in the Island County, Washington building codes.  And he and his crew are extremely easy to work with.  In addition, Greg Bayless is honest and dependable.  His work is absolutely first-class.  When he was finished he left no trash, tools, or packing materials behind.  And now my wife and I have an excellent, properly installed whole-house backup power generator that will protect us and our home when the power from PSE is interrupted.  Greg will be back here soon to put some new ceiling light fixtures in our downstairs entertainment room.  He doesn't just install generators.  And he answers his phone when it rings!  Thank you, Greg.  See you soon.

I needed an electrician the week after New Years, and for some reason everyone I called was booked. Greg at Bayless said he was busy but would fit me in later in the week, so I confirmed with them. He didn't show up, and he didn't respond to texts. When I called he said he would come on Sunday. Guess what, he didn't come on Sunday either, altho he offered to fit me in next week. Too late, learned my lesson, I feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football.

I recently had a Generac standby generator system installed.  In retrospect I wish I'd selected Bayless for the job.  Greg quickly responded to my inquiry (he is a designated Generac dealer so you will be referred to him when you call their 800 number and you live in Northwest Washington state).  He soon visited my home and quickly provided his bid. For various reasons, I decided to use another company and they have been excellent.  However, I now realize there was a major difference between the two companies.  Bayless would have completed the entire project from start to finish.  My chosen company did the installation and then left me with a list of items that need completion before they do the final hook up and tests:  order propane tank; then, order tank site inspection; then, hire landscaper to dig trench for fuel line; then, order tank and fuel line installation; then, request inspection from county bldg dept; then, order filling of tank and their final hook up; then, get landscaper to close fuel line trench; then, arrange for installer to do final hook up and testing and instruct me on operation. Now, none of this was difficult or problematic...it was a learning experience and I had the time to devote to the project.  I will never know the bliss though of other single women who say, I just hired someone and it was all done!

I needed a quote for an electrical issue in our bathroom. While several other companies told me they couldn't do anything for me without coming out to see the house. Bayless Electric helped me trouble shoot through direct message on yelp and ended up fixing the problem without even stepping foot in my home.

I didn't end up needing them to come out but if I did I would trust them with my business!

Bayless electric installed a permanent generator for our house recently. The price was great, the work was done well but also quickly and efficiently. They took care of everything from start to finish and communicated with us all along. I will definitely use Bayless Electric for all of my future projects.

Had to get an outlet installed on very short notice. After reaching out to several electricians, I was sad to learn that everyone was booked for months. But Greg and Sarah found time between bigger jobs to come in and complete the job quickly and efficiently. They were really cool to meet and talk to and I will definitely be using them again the future!

By no fault of theirs, we chose the electrician that originally worked on our home. I will say, however, that the positive, speedy, response to our request for service was much appreciated. They're extremely polite and were willing to come the next day. I will definitely keep them in my rolodex.

I used Bayless for a permitted upstairs down to the studs remodel (2 Bed, 1 Bath).  Work involved removal of existing non-grounded wiring (house built in 1945) and install of new circuits pulled directly from panel.  They worked extremely fast, rough-in done in one day.  Came back when remodel work was done to do trim (outlets, switches, smoke/CO2s), again working extremely fast, finishing trim in a couple hours.  Work also included installing a Nest thermostat and adding a new outdoor service outlet for the new upstairs ductless units.  Greg is very knowledgeable of electrical code, which I appreciated, and overall I am happy with the outcome.

I'm from Kansas City and looked for a electrician to do a outside service hookup at my sons home in Snohomish, Greg was the only one to get back to me quickly, quote me the cost and get the job done quickly for my sons Christmas present.
I'm a remodeler here and find his work to be top rate in quality from his pictures and work he performed at my sons home. He won't short cut to save money and leave you with a potential hazard. You get what you pay for in quality work. You don't need to worry about your house burning down from lower skilled electricians

Quality service from a local company. Called on a Monday and had the problem sorted by Wednesday midday. Our garage breaker kept tripping, turning off our refrigerator and freezer, for seemingly no reason. Even though I called late in the day (after 6 p.m.) they answered the phone and did a great job assessing the issue, even requesting photos via text to help with troubleshooting. Bayless was able to respond midday Wednesday, and replaced the breaker. They even did a quick review of our (old) breaker panel and made recommendations that will help prevent future electrical issues. If you're looking for an honest, down-to-earth and professional electrical company, Bayless is a great choice.

Greg is awesome. He knows his stuff and worked diligently when I had to use his services a couple of years ago. During the memorial day weekend, I have my power out in a portion of the house. I called him and he picked up right away and told me to prioritize.

We are new to this area and it's always hard to know who to call when looking for competent businesses. We were fortunate to have found Bayless Electric!  Greg just recently completed installing a standby generator at our residence.   He set the generator on it's pad and installed a new electric panel to accommodate the changes. They even installed a light fixture inside our home after a very long day with the generator install.  From start to finish he made it a pleasure.  He is very personable, efficient, professional and does a great job leaving the work site as clean as he found it.   Best of all, his rates are reasonable and accurate.

Greg is good.  He did what I asked him to do and more.  He was able to do it in a timely fashion and answered every phone call that I placed to him.  His email responses were right away.  His work is the best and this was a big job.  He had to remove cables and put new cables in and I would not hesitate to hire him again.  And I could not be more pleased with the work.

It is rare anymore to get good communication out of someone and good work.
