Alex installed new circuits and electrical lines for a new electric tankless water heater and setup and passed the inspection. He was responsive and kept me up to date the entire process. He also kept the space super clean by laying down rugs and wearing shoes covers.

We recently needed some electrical work done to accommodate our new oven's need for a 30 amp designated breaker.

A and A Electric sent electrician Alex out within days of our request. He showed up at our appointment on time, was courteous, efficient, and able to clearly explain what he was doing and answer our questions.

The cost of the work was very reasonable.  We will be calling on this company for any future electrical work we may need.

Great experience. Came by the next day. Did three jobs very quickly. Friendly. And took time to explain things. Seem to be no more expensive than other options.

While pressure-washing my home, a GFCI was tripped and could not be reactivated. Called A&A and Alex promised to come the next afternoon. He was on time, diagnosed its failure, and replaced the unit promptly. He also made competent recommendations regarding better circuit distribution to avoid a shut-down.

We were experiencing flickering lights and our alarm system was reporting AC loss. Based on Yelp reviews, we decided to try A&A Electric, and I'm really glad that I did. Alex was very professional, punctual, communicative, and very accommodating. He explained his process for trying to identify the issue, was very thorough, and had great suggestions. I'm really glad we chose A&A Electric, and we will definitely be calling them again in the future.

Professional, ethical, thorough and very reliable.  Pricing is honest and reasonable.  Alex evaluated 5 light boxes, installed new fixtures and a new breaker in our old house. We would use his company every time we need electrical work done.

My ceiling light fixture made a fizzle sound then died. Well, that's what I thought happened. I looked up electricians on Yelp and found Alex at A and A Electric. He came out the next days bringing with him a replacement fixture if I needed it. My problem wasn't as big as I thought but Alex explained my problem to me, replaced my fixture and taught me a lot about what light bulbs are good and what light bulbs I should just throw away.  Alex was kind, professional and very helpful. I highly recommend him.

I hired A&A to replace the knob and tube wiring in my recently purchased home. Overall the company did a good job and I would (and did) hire them for another project. That being said, I noticed a lack of detail from the company in a few respects. This included:
- Turning and accidentally leaving my furnace off without notice on multiple occasions. This also happened with my refrigerator and all the frozen items started to thaw. They simply did not turn the breakers back on when they were done at the end of the day.
- Turning off my garage door and leaving it open and unlocked for the night.
- Leaving sharp metal objects including screws, nails and electrical components out in the street out front (where their van was parked)
- Not properly measuring before installing my recessed lights leading to lights that weren't even in line with each other (out of line by up to two inches!). It was pretty obvious very little measuring took place before those holes were drilled. This resulted in many unnecessary holes being made in the ceiling.

Alex is wonderful!! He cane over within an hour of calling him and was able to troubleshoot, repair and install some track lighting on top of it all.  I will call him next time I have any electrical issues.

Alex is an expert electrician. He has been so helpful with advice and fixes for an old and sometimes wonky electrical situation in our 1920s home. First contacted him with a blown fuse and he was able to come out the next day. After that we have retained him to help with other non-emergency electrical work that has been needed. Reasonable rates and fast, knowledgeable service. Recommend highly

Came out in 2 days, fixed our stuff and charged a bit less than all the other psychiatrists who are now electricians and still charge as much an hour out of network.

Seriously though, this guy should be your first stop if you need an electrician. He did solid work very quickly. Professional, reliable and very polite.

The electrician came on time. He was very efficient and even talked me out of something I didn't need. In other words, he didn't oversell. All three projects that I needed done were finished in a reasonable amount of time. This is the second time I've used this company and I would use them again.

Replied quickly, came over next day and fixed my (fairly minor) wiring/fuse issues in kitchen.  Polite, on-time, competent!

Alex is the consummate professional.  He knows what he's doing, he explains what is necessary and why, and he doesn't get rattled.  He and the crew moved an outside junction box to inside the basement, a job requiring drilling for several hours through concrete and stone, rewired the box, installed new hard-wired LED shop lights in our office, did troubleshooting on outdoor outlets, and installed LED motion lights on the garage.  

The work is very nice, up to code, and guaranteed for a year, but I doubt if we will need to tap into the warranty.  

We are hiring A&A to rewire our main floor in the next couple of weeks.  I wanted to switch out the track lighting in the kitchen from halogen to LED, but upon examination of the old knob & tube wiring, it was determined that it was too far gone to support a new fixture.  The halogen had literally burned up the wiring with that intense heat.  So now we have another project.  It may be a disappointment that we have to pay for yet another electrical project, but at least we will have an electrician performing that we know and trust performing the work.

The start of work was delayed a week, but thankfully I was able to move back other work I had scheduled to happen after the electrical.

Alex was prompt with an estimate, and very clear about what he was going to do. We replaced an old panel with a brand new 200-amp panel, with the 200-amp service upgrade. He was diligent and prompt, though there was originally supposed to be a different employee working, Alex got everything done on time, on his own, including working late into the freezing night.

I will recommend A+A Electric to anyone I know in the Seattle area.

Alex and his crew were great to work with. Despite being very busy he is responsive and on time. We had several small items that needed to be addressed in our 1908 house which added up to about a day and a half of work. I felt that his pricing was very fair and they completed everything in a timely manor. They were also very understanding about working around another contractor we had in at the same time installing some plumbing lines. We had to have him back out because the outlet for the garbage disposal wasn't quite right. He easily took care of it free of charge. We will definitely call A&A again!

Alex and his team added a new 200 amp panel, numerous outlets and ran a whole bunch of wire. They also replaced the mast on our roof. All oft them were professional and courteous.

I will definitely be using them for our basement project later on.

We contacted several electric companies and they were by far the most responsive. Alex walked me through the house, took notes (which no others did....how do you give an accurate bid without knowing what your bidding). Anyway. 5 stars solid job.

Alex is a true professional. He arrives on time, communicates clearly, works quickly, and charges very reasonable rates. I've hired him for a couple of rehab jobs on a 1970s condo, and I've been very satisfied with the quality, speed, and price of his work on both occasions. I'm also very impressed by the extent of his technical knowledge and his willingness to discuss the details of what he's doing with me. I know that I can trust him to tell me what needs to be fixed and what isn't worth doing. I would hire him again in an instant.

Last year the week before Christmas. Half the power went out in our old 1948 home. The estimates we got were astranomical. And no one could help us for 2 months or longer! Not only did Alex and his team get to us just after the new year his estimate was better than most as well. My old home required a complete rewire and all new fixtures and new breaker box to replace the old fuse box. I added many new lights a ceiling fan a new circuit for air conditioning. I added a bathroom fan and had a outdoor plug  go bad which they promptly sent someone to replace with a new one. I would not hesitate to call Alex for whatever electrical needs you have. Even with all my additions it still was less money than the competition!

We had 3 quotes before selecting  A&A Electric.  His rates were comparable to the others but he took the time to take things apart and explained the process required in detail.  He and his assistant Edmar have been extremely efficient and will be coming back to do more work on this old house.

Alex was great to work with! Arrived on time and was very clear about what he was doing. When the wiring was not what was expected, he quickly adjusted the plan and found alternatives that worked. I will absolutely contact him first the next time I need an electrician.

Based on Yelp and Judy's book great reviews I gave them a try. Technician was actually early. He quickly diagnosed the issue and patiently answered my question. Fixed and now my lights work again. Service area is more limited but if you live in area, I recommend them.

Prior to beginning work (hanging a chandelier) I was very pleased to receive a detailed quote and thorough explanation of the work to be performed. As the work was ongoing, the electrician called me several times to ensure that he hung the chandelier at just the right level. And he did. Our chandelier looks fabulous and works perfectly. Alex of A&A Electric has helped us with our home electrical needs several times and we would highly recommend him.  He upgraded our main panel, added outlets, installed lights, and much more and was efficient, neat and very competitive cost-wise.  Very easy to work with and also creative and honest about finding less expensive ways to fix problems.  Don't be suspicious if all of his ratings are 5-stars because he really deserves them!

Alex of A & A Electric was recommended to me by the excellent handyman I use. The handyman successfully hung three new replacement lights for me in our Tudor-style home.  But when he finished hanging the new chandelier in the dining room it was uneven.  The problem seemed to be that the rings attached to the three rods supporting the bowl of the fixture were each twisted differently. Neither of us could figure out how to correct the problem. We both stood on the dining room table and as I held the chandelier in place the handyman repeatedly twisted and turned the rings to no avail.  After quite some time he gave up and said he knew an excellent electrician, Alex, who had re-wired his own house during a re-model. I called the experienced sales lady at the specialty antique store where I bought the fixtures thinking she could explain how to adjust the rods and my husband and I could then complete the job by ourselves. She explained that the chandelier was a particularly difficult light to hang correctly and I would need a very experienced electrician. So I called Alex of A & A Electric.  When he arrived it took him about ten minutes to adjust the twelve rings and three rods by himself and the chandelier finally hung correctly.  Based on this experience I then hired him again, this time to install two sconces in the guest bathroom which consisted of removing some drywall and running wire through the studs.  He worked efficiently and quietly and also showed great patience with me as I tried to decide exactly how high and far from the mirror to hang the lights.  It helped that he gave me advice on the proper placement.  Once the rough in wiring was done he said he would be back after the handyman replaced the sheetrock to install the fixtures.  He also suggested that I paint the wall before he installed the fixtures  so the end result would be a clean and professional appearance.  I again called Alex last week when the power to some of the electrical outlets below the kitchen cabinets went out.  His first response was First, maybe I can save you some money. Do you have any reset buttons and have you tried those?  Yes, I had.  Then have you looked at your electrical box?    Based on every experience I have had with Alex he is the only electrician I call.  I can with great confidence recommend him for electrical jobs both great and small.  He is even the electrician my handyman recommends.  Also, we do not wear shoes in our house and Alex carries shoe covers with him to put on when he enters our home.
