Best Smoke Detector Installatio… in San Jose CA

I had my electrical work done about almost 6 months ago so this review was overdue. I had Matt and his crew to help me install quite a few new lightings since our house was built in 50s and there was not much lightings done.   We did recess lights in the entry and hallway; celing lights for 3 bedrooms and family room; a chandelier in the dinning area, and also fixed the couple outlets.

Here are couple areas I would like to give him thumbs up.
- Budget: everything was within what were quoted and Matt tries his best to make sure there is no suprises for his customers.

- Project time: They team is timely, professional, and kept the work area clean and tidy up at the end of day. He has the can do attitude from him and all the way to his crew.

- Communication: Matt is very responsive, and easy to work with. More importantly, he is very knowledgeable and I liked all the recommandations he made.

I definitley will call him back for future projects and recommand him to family and friends!

I called Jason to fix a breaker that was supposedly the source of my nonoperative hot tub. It a rare part apparently - Jason helped to locate before I even booked him for the job.

Jason arrived they day after I got the part. He replaced it within 10 minutes of arrival. He had obviously done this a few times.

Unfortunately the breaker was not the source of the hot tub problem.

To my surprise, Jason then offered to check out the hot tub itself. He unscrewed the panel and proceeded to disconnect various wires, isolating the cause of the failing circuitry within the hot tub itself!

Nothing extra charged for his debugging wizardry.

Jason obviously has a breadth of electrical knowledge, confidence and an excellent work ethic. We have an kitchen remodel coming up and I'll definitely be reaching out to him in the future.

I recently purchased a Tesla Model S and needed to install a NEMA 14-50 240 volt outlet in my garage.  Tesla recommended Willow Glen Electric and I spoke with Matt.  He asked me to take a few pictures of the install location, electrical panel, and sub-panel.  Based on these pictures, he didn't believe my home could support 40 amps, but after arriving at my home and evaluating, Matt and his team determined it was feasible and installed the outlet right then and there.  The installation went smoothly.  Willow Glen coordinated with my city to arrange for the permit sign-off and showed up for the meeting/review which took place the following week.  I have the signed permit, a clean outlet installation, and am a happy customer.  Thanks Matt and team!

Duke did a good job of isolating and fixing a grounding problem in our house. He was on time and proceeded to do a quick diagnosis. He is also very direct in his communications and will not sugar coat anything.

Although they were quick to respond to our service call, the house visit to assess why our bathroom lights weren't working cost $89 just to assess what the electrical issue was. We were given several hypotheticals as to what the issue might be. It was going to be another $320 to troubleshoot on a later day (to go into the attic space to take a look with no guarantees that the issue would be fixed) or $550 to rewire the room altogether at a later time. We called around afterwards and found out that house calls for many electricians in the area is a set cost to troubleshoot or free if the problem cannot be fixed during the visit. We were able to get another electrician to come to the house on the same day and get our lights up and running for 1/3 of the quoted price from California Power & Light.

These guys are the best! Nadav his team and office help are just 100% professional. If one needs an electrician this is the company one should get.

Electric heroes was awesome to work with, they responded within an hour to schedule a virtual quote, scheduled the install of 3 bathroom fans I purchased at Lowes.   Ramon showed up in time and completed the installation in a few hours cleaned up the immediate area and the entryway.  He asked me to test everything to make sure I was happy with the install.  Great service!

We wanted additional outlets into our restrooms and set out on the wondrous journey of getting quotes and searching for the right person to do the job. A few quotes in from other electricians and we were able to finally get Dan to come by to do our quote. Dan has vast knowledge and was able to explain why he would be able to do our project correctly and save us thousands. Dan was punctual with the appointment and did a very clean install for us, perfect for what our needs were. Dan was considerate, efficient and professional. We could not have asked for more. Thanks Dan for the great work, we will continue to use you and spread the good word for all of our electrical household needs!

We asked Fast Handy Electric to come for a free quote. Our home was built in the 60's and needed a lot of electrical work. Kelley came in and was excellent, very knowledgable, friendly, open to all of our questions. We appreciate how he didn't push for specific/additional services (like how some other electrical companies we've spoken with did) and took the time to discuss how we could make our home safer while trying to fit our budget. The estimate was emailed to us by the following day. We loved how everything was itemized and included details for what we've discussed, what Fast Handy specifically can do and cannot do (e.g. they do not do drywall repair, but have companies that they work with). I'm guessing they're very busy since we left voicemails on a Thursday and Friday and didn't hear back until the following Monday, but I still give 5/5 for the great experience with Kelley and since we were in no rush.

Excellent service and great experience working with David. He is very responsive, professional, prompt, and trustworthy. Highly recommended business. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with his service. It started out with replacing a doorbell transformer to power the ring doorbell, which led to a few other minor glitches (not his fault), and he helped all the way through. I will call again for future needs!

Replaced our furnace with a heat pump and also helped with getting a permit with the city. There was a leak at the condensation draining pipe that wasn't detected/tested after the installation (since the test run was too short so the condensation pump didn't have to do anything). I called them and they came to fix the issue within an hour.

Also had a separate job to change three way light switches to smart switches (I couldn't figure out the wiring as they seem to be non-standard). As the work was small, the technicians came within a few hours and got things done quickly.

Jack was the only person on Yelp, who agreed to get me out of trouble with a mess another contractor created. Hepled fix all the issues (basically redid project completely) and worked with San Jose Permit office to get everything properly inspected. Super fast in communication, always notified me upfront about next steps. We'd be lost without him. Highly recommend!

It was a Christmas miracle!!! Our breaker jumped and one part of our house lost power. We tried to fix the breaker ourselves but couldn't get it to work. We lost our heater in the process on Christmas Day! Mike was so kind and took time on CHRISTMAS to walk us through how to fix the breaker. Eventually we got our lights and heat back thanks to Mike. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

If I can put 100 stars I would. Im a hvac contractor and I use general electric sevices. Edwin and hormoso is reliable and honest.
I have reccomend them to aleast a few dozen customers and they had nothing positive things to say about them.

They are always responsive and on time.
They do very clean work and finish as promised
I WILL RECCOMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS A GOOD ELECTRICIAN

I was in a jam because my previous electrician (another highly rated one on Yelp) didn't finish the job and was gonna make me wait for another week. I messaged Mike here, and he was very responsive and scheduled me for the next day (on a Saturday no less). He installed new junction boxes and new kitchen island pendants for me in less than 1.5 hours. He and his team were on time, professional, listened to what I wanted, and just generally chill. Don't bother with anyone else, I would reach out DV Electric first and get things done quick. 5 stars all around.

EDIT (Oct 2021): 3rd time now I've called Mike and he continues to be incredibly fast, reliable, and trustworthy. Called him out after our 240v dryer outlet died. We thought at first the dryer broke, so we wasted 2 months with an appliance tech who replaced a bunch of parts in the dryer but who never thought to check the outlet.  Mike came out on a Saturday within 2 hours of our call, discovered the problem with the outlet, fixed it in 30 mins.  Lesson--- the top 1% of contractors are miles better than the competition. Mike and DV Electric deserve 100% of our business, and more.

Great service by James M.! He came to us the same evening of my call after a very large tree fell on our main power line and house. James was extremely kind and helpful and worked directly with the city utilities until our main line was fully tested and quickly reconnected. He understands problems and the city permit hurdles and goes out of his way to help his customers. I highly recommend James, he has great knowledge and also knows how to deal with the utilities and customers, overall great customer service. Pricing was very competitive for a same day emergency service.

We had a bunch of our emergency lights out in our business. We replaced batteries but still ended up with many that were not working. Since they were over 12 years old, we decided to replace them. I reached out to our usual electrician on many occasions trying to get something scheduled (they even penciled me in but never showed up) so I decided to look for other options through Yelp.  Best Electrical Services was one of the respondence.

They were lower in price then some of the others that could provide proof of insurance which was necessarily since this is a business. Their reviews looked good, so I took a chance. They responded to my questions quickly, booked me for the following week, and actually showed up on time. They were very easy to work with and handled the installation quickly. I didn't have enough of the lights on premises so they told me to text them when they came in and they would fit them in. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

Rich is a relationship driven professional, he has deep expertise with lights and how it can enhance your overall home experience, and tries to sees things from a customer's perspective. He connects with all levels in the family and empathizes with our requests. I really liked the decent flat transparent pricing, no hassle.

He called me to check in the evening to gauge for the experience, and is always open for feedback. Strongly recommend!
