Best Outlet Installation in San Jose CA

My son had just purchased a large 30 year old house, and the extensive landscape lighting had been left in a serious state of disarray. Several landscape and electrical contractors wanted no part of the job. Once Matt understood that I was willing to pay for diagnostic work, he gave an estimate of what his workers' time would cost. Ruben did an outstanding job in sorting out the various problems in an old and disorganized lighting system. When they left, in less time than I had arranged for, all of the various systems had been made functional and understandable. I can easily see why they have garnered such sterling reviews. They will be my go-to company for any future electrical work.

We had a NEST thermostat that I attempted to install myself but was unsuccessful. I called Jason because I saw his strong review on Yelp. He was great -- very professional, quick, and a reasonable fee. He not only rewired the thermostat but he took the time to look at the entire A/C unit and found a problem with the filter. Now the A/C unit runs better too. I'm glad we've found a local electrician we like in case something comes up.

Called Matt from Willow Glen Electric based on a list of contractors on Tesla's website in the South Bay Area.  We had unexpectedly gotten a delivery date for our Tesla about three months earlier than expected, so we had to get a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed in less than two weeks!

Matt was very accommodating in answering my questions before accepting the bid, and gave us the option of installing two NEMA 14-50 outlets at the same time to save some money (in case we decide to get a second EV in the future).  He was even able to create a bid based solely on photos and a description of the house, which was a huge time saver!

We ended up going with two NEMA 14-50 outlets, and scheduled an installation date two days before the beginning of the delivery window.  The two electricians arrived a bit late, but were able to complete the work within the original window.  They also did a great job answering my questions, and didn't seem to be annoyed by my partial supervision of their work (mostly from my own curiosity as an engineer).

I will definitely be calling Willow Glen Electric again for any electrical jobs I need to do around the house, including a Power Wall installation when the time comes!

Minh is very knowledgeable and was able to discern the issue that we had using good rationalization and know-how that years of experience have afforded him. We are thankful that he was able to troubleshoot what our major concerns were and fix the problem(s) which arose due to sub-par electrical work done by the subcontractors hired by Tom of Cabinet & Stone Expo Inc that renovated the downstairs kitchen and bathroom as well as flooring, which is falling apart within 5-years due to crappy materials and rushed labor (See my review for them here yelp.com/biz/cabinet-and…).

Back to Simply electric-you can't go wrong if you choose Minh. Although he charges a minimum 2 hrs, he does this because he is serious about utilizing his knowledge of electricity to help you. It's no abuse of power :)

Julio is knowledgeable, professional, and honest. I called Absolute Power with some minor concerns about my electrical system, and Julio took the time to call me to talk through my concerns and answer my questions. He alleviated my worries and saved me unnecessary expense and stress. He was great to talk to, and he earned my appreciation and trust. I'll definitely call Absolute Power again in the future for my electrical needs.

We recently had recessed lights installed in 3 of our bedrooms. Price was reasonable. Service was great. Duke was very responsive and informative during the quoting process. Would highly recommend to other folks. Huge thanks to Duke, Benny and Eddie!

Henry was fast, helpful, and gave us two options for a fix (one was a cheaper option).  Our breaker box was arcing and smoking, and he helped us find the exact source of the problem.  I would call on him again!

There are some really great things about Adary electric.  They are super responsive and accommodating.  I had a situation where light blew in a main room of the house so I urgently needed new lighting with the upcoming holidays.  Responsiveness deserves 5 stars in squeezing me in.  The workers were very pleasant and knowledgeable.  Also 5 stars.   What I'm not excited about is the value.   They gave me one option, a fixed proposal/quote that presumed double the effort of what it took.   Assumed 2 guys for a day, and took 1 guy 1/2 a day to install recessed lighting in a small den.  Thus, the ultimate price ended up being much steeper than time and materials for this relatively simple job.  There also was not recognition that the scoping could have been materially off in this case or any concession..even a fraction...only justifications for other cases going over and listing of floor coverings and $20 dimmer, etc in the cost (p.s. Was $1850). This was 5 halo 4 lights, easy wiring (no holes other than for the cans).  I understand a fixed bid runs the chance it would go over, but this was an easy job and not some crazy electrical re-do with unknown problems.  So in this case, my bad for not shopping others or having a tone and materials option.  Beware of fixed proposals unless you are sure of the effort needed.   Likely won't use them again unless I get multiple bids and am confident about the scope and effort involved.

For those considering engaging this business.  Please be aware this is a photo of the email response from the business owner.  Things to note (1)  the estimate (aka contract proposal) was overblown and assumed a tricky job as no attic above lights, but turned out there was a lot of headroom making the job easy (2) business attacks customer versus listens and does addresses concerns (3)seeks to muffle adverse social media opinion (4) threatens small claims court and multiple demands for payment in under 72 hours. (5) threatens defamation for citing fact on yelp.

We needed to install several new light fixtures in our house. Nick was great at being the first to respond to our inquiry, giving a fair quote (compared to others), and being the first available to do the job.
The job itself was done perfectly, even though our fixtures were several decades old and nailed to the wall, he patiently removed them and installed the new ones.
He went beyond just the service, including cleaning up after himself even though a lot of the dirt was there even before the job, and also spent some time answering our questions regarding other projects we have in mind.

Without a doubt would use his services again.

Excellent Job from Robert. Very professional. I bought a new generator to my office due to recent electric power outages. The generator needed to be connected to multiple devices. Robert gave few brilliant idea and wired all the cables from the ceiling and installed few outlets. Very reasonable pricing and if you are looking for a professional job to be done he is your guy!!!

Dan helped me install a Tesla Wall Connector and did a great job. He explained all the options was informative and responsive. I would highly recommend his service.

Jim was very professional. He answered all my questions and concerns via message on Yelp. He was able to provide a quote as well with the pictures I submitted. We set an appointment, he showed up on time and executed the job.

Super responsive, quick, and very very good work! I called on a Tuesday afternoon with an urgent job and he came out Wednesday morning first thing.

If you are reading this review, then my house did not burn down.  My wife noticed sparks coming out of the junction box that connects to the oven.  I called JR Electric and David came out, looked at it, and fixed the problem.  Recently, we also had him add an outdoor plug for lighting, wire our barn for electrical and lighting, and add canned lights and sconces to our master bath and butlers pantry.  Real nice guy, easy to communicate with, finish work is clean, and prices are very fair.  Bottom line, he's our go-to electrician.

CS electric offered a reasonable quote, did great work, arrived on time, was flexible.  Definitely would do business with them again.

Jack did an outstanding job fixing up some wiring in our backyard. He arrived on time and was very efficient. He explained to me what was wrong and most importantly fixed it! I would definitely use Jack again. He was very polite and got the job done quickly.

Amazing communication and speed to come and get it done. Not only was he the first to reply, Carlos was prompt and had amazing communication throughout the job. But more than anything he did a great job at a reasonable price while even coming back to check on everything!

I called because one of the outlets in our kitchen stopped working. Mike called back promptly. He was able to solve the problem in a few minutes (at no charge) by talking me through how to deal with the circuit box. He was a joy to work with -- very knowledgeable and able to explain things very clearly. Also, a very friendly and respectful demeanor. I won't hesitate to call Courtesy Electric again the next time I need an electrician.
