Best Lighting Repair in San Jose CA

I was referred to Voltz Electric by a friend a few years ago.  Since then Matt and his staff have installed recessed lighting in my kitchen, family room, replaced the electrical box and outlets, added outlets outside for all of my holiday lights and replaced the lights in the hallway.  We recently had Voltz install recessed lighting in our livingroom and replace the ceiling fan.  Matt is wonderful, he quickly repsonded to our request.  While here, they explain everything that they are doing as well as make recommendations. They are professional and quick.  I would highly recommend Voltz  Electric!!

Jason was amazing! He showed up on time for my recessed lighting conversion. He tried different ways to make my old lighting fixture work with the trims that we bought. He was thorough and efficient. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a reliable and reasonable electrician.

Minh was very educative and patient throughout the process. I was having voltage drops on one breaker. I had consulted a few electricians, but was never able to get a clear explanation on what the real issue is.

Turned out I needed help, at which point he fit me into a busy schedule and got the work done in short order. Best electrician experience I have had by far. Roger is a thorough professional and knows what he is doing. He is honest, courteous and hard working. I took his help to replace our main circuit, add some outdoor wall lights and add couple of GFCI outlets. While doing so, he noticed and fixed some existing problems on his own, free of charge. He is a perfectionist.

I would definitely take his help for any future works and I highly recommend him.

Although they were quick to respond to our service call, the house visit to assess why our bathroom lights weren't working cost $89 just to assess what the electrical issue was. We were given several hypotheticals as to what the issue might be. It was going to be another $320 to troubleshoot on a later day (to go into the attic space to take a look with no guarantees that the issue would be fixed) or $550 to rewire the room altogether at a later time. We called around afterwards and found out that house calls for many electricians in the area is a set cost to troubleshoot or free if the problem cannot be fixed during the visit. We were able to get another electrician to come to the house on the same day and get our lights up and running for 1/3 of the quoted price from California Power & Light.

Excellent service and price. Easily scheduled, only a couple of days wait, fixed problem in in a couple of hours at a very reasonable price. Thanks!

Nick was very professional. We was prompt on time, quoted a reasonable price and was very knowledge shared some tips. He installed the Tesla Wall Charger in my house.

Dan came out to do two small projects for us. One was the installation of 4 outlets in our outdoor kitchen island (still a frame), and an additional outlet along a wall in the backyard. All 5 outlets were installed to code (GFCI, covers, etc.). One was not quite in the position I wanted, which was my fault for not being explicit. He came back on another day and moved it to the place I wanted without any issue!

He also installed a new outlet in our kids' bathroom. Took him about an hour and the result is clean and professional.

Super professional from the beginning till the end of the process. We were able to negotiate the quote over messages and everything went very smooth after that. Got 11 light switches replaced with smart light switches, got a Tesla charger installed, and got my garage floodlight replaced.

JR Electric and Sergio were fantastic.  Their quote was a bit lower than the rest.  Communication was excellent.  And their work was well-performed, and they even gave me advice on a few unrelated items.  I will definitely be hiring them to do more work, soon.

Despite a small hiccup with scheduling our service, the management team at Fuse once again took great care of us! This time we needed Fuse for an A/C diagnostic and the supervisor and field tech were very communicative and did a wonderful job ensuring we were up and operational in time for the next heat wave. Caio was great. Responded quickly, was available to come out within a few days, spoke with me about the electrical work I wanted and provided suggestions. And he was actually reasonably priced, I've already given his info to family members for their projects. Highly recommend.

My pool pumps went kaput.  Based on the excellent reviews I called up Velo Electric for the repair. Carlos was very professional, very easy to communicate with, and punctual. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem with the prior installation which caused the pump burn-out so re-configured the breaker fuses to work properly and safely. He installed new breakers in a proper configuration and a new protective outdoor electrical box with new wiring and pump and sweep timers to replace the corroded 40 year box, an electrical hazard and accident just waiting to happen really. Now I have peace of mind.  I thoroughly enjoyed working with Carlos and on that basis contracted with him to help me install external floodlight security cameras for my house.  I will cover that installation in a separate review.  Bottom line: I HIGHLY recommend Carlos.

Here is my security camera installation review of Velo Electric (I tried to post a follow up review but yelp deleted my prior one, so I'm posting this here).  Based upon the great work Carlos did on my pool pump electricals (breakers, timers, outside electrical box), I contracted with him to help me install external security floodlight cameras for my house. He also installed a several non-floodlight cameras, and cleaned up some poorly installed outdoor sprinkler timer wiring. The installation required co-ordination and adjustment of the outdoor cameras  by Carlos and myself. As I brought each camera up onto my security network, Carlos assisted me to adjust them physically for the right view. In my opinion, we worked together well, he on his ladder (my floodlights are up very high) and me on my smartphone, so we were able to complete all installations in one day. Carlos also helped me choose the correct equipment since some were hardwired to junction boxes, others solar connected. If you're looking for professional electrical help with security camera installation, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Carlos since my experience with him was EXTREMELY satisfactory.  Thank you Carlos!

Mike came out after my mother called him to resolve an electrical issue with her patio lighting. Mike did an excellent job at a cost effective price. My mother had further issues with her light not working after Mike completed original repairs. Again, he came out on time and reviewed the issue. Discovered it was a bad bulb versus the work he completed but did not charge my mother for his valuable time.
