Called this company after reading good reviews on YELP and several other electricians were too busy to come out for our pressing minor emergency.  They did great work, were there when they said they would be, very neat, cleaned up afterward and price was as quoted each time, used them twice for 2 different jobs within a month.  Very very pleased with their work, so much so we put them on list of preferred vendors at our high rise condo.

It's not an exaggeration when they say they are older wiring/fuse box specialists. It was impressive how they were able to rewire most of the property with just a couple small holes. At our duplex in Mission Beach (built in 1939), we had SRP do an initial inspection (cost later applied to work done) and scope out the work needed to bring the entire property up to current standards. We called the office and were connected to Rudy who was our point of contact throughout the process. Rudy did a great job communicating and we never had a doubt he was on top of things. After the initial inspection we quickly received a written estimate that included rewiring the entire property, panel upgrades, City permitting and inspections and coordination with SDG&E. Rudy did an excellent job communicating throughout the process and we actually started the project earlier than originally planned. It was no small task to deal with the City/SDG&E bureaucracy and, even though it took a long time, we were kept informed all along the way. We really appreciated that they kept to the original budget even though we requested several changes along the way and never felt like we were being nickel and dimed. Rudy brought out Edward, Eddie, Matt and Julien to help with the project and all were knowledgeable, friendly and left our space very clean and organized at the end of the day even though we told them it wasn't necessary. It's been several months since the project was completed and everything has worked perfectly. We highly recommend SRP and would use them again in a heartbeat.

I worked with Mike and he was great. I wanted a bathroom light fixture removed and 2 can lights installed. He arrived EARLY, was professional, knowledgeable and even cleaned up after himself. He protected my bathroom with drop cloths. Great experience, we'll use him again for other electrical needs.

If I could give more stars I would. Leo was great. He replaced my broken dimmer and he had the best quote of three. Highly recommend.  Will use him for any future projects and/ or repairs.

Received quote from yelp request. They communicated back quickly. I explained my situation and they showed up quickly and completed the job with professional results. They really make things look so easily. I hate that. I had them run the electrical to the middle of my vaulted ceiling for a house fan. If you need this done you need to give them a call. Very reasonable price and they were in and out quickly.

I was looking to add recessed lighting to many rooms in my house and did some scouting around various places that could do the work. I connected with H&H Lighting based on the reviews and the on site estimate that Mark provided.

I am thrilled with how the result turned out. Mark did a great job adding brand new lighting in areas where I had no idea how it could be done. I didn't even think some of it would be possible, but not only did it get done on time, the effect the lights have on the space is fantastic. Once poorly lit rooms now resemble an art gallery in a model home. Mark had great suggestions for where to place the lights, and how many would be appropriate. I had some preconceived ideas about these things that he absolutely improved upon.

I am definitely coming back to H&H for more services, as well as more lighting in the very near future. The work was top quality, and the pricing was below the competition. And Mark is a great guy to work with. I trust what he is doing. How can you beat that?

Was having random power outages with one of my electrical circuits and other electricians I was trying were at least a week out to respond. Rory was able to fit me in and was able to troubleshoot and identify the problem. He was a good example of the $10 to fix the issue, $110 to know what to fix.

I highly recommend Frank for your electrical needs. We had him come in and install 220V outlets in our laundry room. I actually got 3 different quotes, but Frank was hands down the most knowledgeable of all of them. What impressed me initially was the time he took to research the problem (we had enough room in the panel but the breakers were strangely configured), and to come up with creative solutions. None of the other electricians noticed the same details he did, or put the time into really thinking about the best solution to the problem. The price was more than fair as well, even as we encountered an unforeseen glitch. His work was very well executed and everything looks great, which is very important to me, even for an electrical panel. He even went to extra lengths to check that the amperage was okay for items previously installed by another electrician. The worksite was left neater than when he arrived (thanks for that Frank!). Everything in the panel labeled in fine detailed. A perfect job, and Frank is also extremely personable and easy to work with. We will definitely use him for all of our future electrical jobs.

My experience has been a Concierge is an individual who takes pride in going above and beyond ones basic expectations by providing a more complete and personalized service. The concept is a good one except it's usually really expensive. You end up paying for elite services one way or another -- either an upfront fee, or some hidden cost in your bill when you checkout. We've all heard of Hotel Concierges, Concierge Doctors, etc.

I'm writing this review because I've discovered what can easily be referred to as a Concierge Electrician WITHOUT THE HEFTY PRICE TAG normally attached to such personalize service.  

I've often wondered why more industries don't offer a Concierge-type of service. I guess it takes a business owner who cares more about the quality of work, than the money he makes. It must take someone who believes if he's puts the customer's needs first, the rest will take care of itself.

Ramiro Carreno, owner of ER Electric, is this kind business owner.

I met Ramiro when we were installing Solar for our home. He and his crew were brought in to fix a giant botched electrical job and they worked tirelessly until it was finished. This included a sixteen (16) hour day at one point.

Everyday they showed up on time, looking like the professionals wearing clean, freshly pressed uniforms and driving nice company vehicles with the tools needed for the job including tarps for inside areas where they were working. The communication was great and they respected our family, our privacy and our home.  The final product of the electrical work performed was a masterful example of beauty and functionality. Ramiro's philosophy of every detail matters has won him our praise and our loyalty.

Thank you again for saving the day earlier today! You tend to do a lot of rescuing! The readers of this review should know I'm probably not the easiest person to work for -- I've been told on numerous occasions I demand perfection. In my defense, my husband and I work hard for our money and expect value for it (doesn't everyone?! ). And as a consumer, I don't think it's too much to ask.  I believe concierge-type of service should not be reserved for a privileged few and I believe it should be the rule and not the exception.  Ramiro delivered on this concept and then some!

I work with Jose for all my electrical needs. He is knowledgeable, punctual and professional in his field. He is able to work with me on my projects whether it is installing a new digital a/c thermometer, changing switches, installing a new pendant light, or replacing ceiling fans he is the man to go to.

Went through Home Advisors to find an electrician to cut in a new line and tie it to a box outdoors. Chris McWay from McWay Electric called and made an appointment to take a look and offer an estimate. He showed up on time, looked at the project in question, and quickly told me what would be required to take care of it completely. The price was right, I asked him if he could do it right then and he said he could. Thirty minutes later everything was done, cleaned up, functioning properly, and he was first class all the way through the job. I was very impressed with the job he did and the manner in which he presented himself.

Dean said Miguel would be at my house and he was prompt and on time.  Miguel was awesome.  Fixed the problems and did other work that I wanted.  Personable, professional, and knowledgeable and offered suggestions for my future projects. I know I'll call on him again.

Thank goodness for their bright van! Our neighbors hired Kev Co Electric and when we saw their info on their van across the street, we decided to give them a call. We have now used this company on three separate occasions. Kev installed a few can lights in our kitchen and added a much needed dimmer switch. Eric was great when it came to installing more can lights in our walk in closet, and he also installed a new ceiling fan in our living room. Each electrician we've met has been very professional and knowledgeable. Their pricing is competitive with other electricians we've used in the past, but with Kev Co you know the job is getting done right.

Point Loma Electric specializes in older homes and did a fantastic job replacing several of our vintage 1960s electrical panels and installing a new EV charger. They worked with us on our budget and quirky technical needs. Sales rep, office staff, and crew were super professional and friendly and on time (two days) and on budget. Sales rep even gave us a useful, affordable tip for solving a baffling challenge. Highly recommend!

Luke is great - he fixed multiple electrical problems with my house, finding creative (but still fully code-compliant) solutions. He listens, doesn't try to upsell you, and is very easy to work with. Highly recommended!

James is an excellent electrician. Very skilled and very professional. I needed someone to come out right away because another guy flaked on me. James was able to do my job right away. I will definitely use him again.

We had a Tesla charger installed in our garage by another electrician and after 6 months of working it suddenly stopped.  We were told that our subpanel was grounded, but after having Roddy inspect it, we found out that wasn't true.  The job was more than we anticipated, but Roddy made it super easy!  He was extremely transparent and provided us with several options and quotes which we really appreciated since we are first-time homeowners (and don't know what we're doing).  Now our electrical work has been installed correctly thanks to Roddy and his team and we couldn't be happier.

Roddy was not only professional, but personable.  He even helped us lift our power rack into the garage!  We will definitely be working with AEI in the future and I highly recommend their services.

James and sidekick were early to start, went back to shop for matching parts and all for a happy price. I thank them both.
