An update to my original review, and a comment in response to the company response.
First, a written list of items to do, which included descriptions, brand names, and colors of fixtures, shouldn't be that difficult to follow. Blaming the person who was at the house (who was not my roommate) only to allow the electrician access, rather than acknowledging a written list was provided, is a lazy cop-out.
Second, I did end up having another electrician in to take care of an unrelated issue, and he swapped the lights for me. He also did some troubleshooting on the ceiling fan I had Goodman Electric install. I did not mention in my original review that certain functions were not working on the ceiling fan (namely the dimmer and timer functions), but I did mention those to Randy when I spoke with him on the phone originally, when I was talking with him about the lights being installed in the wrong locations. He maintained that it was not his problem, and was probably a function not supported by my fan (in spite of the book and the box stating that model had those functions). He grudgingly agreed to troubleshoot it when he came out to swap the lights (which he never did).
When the other electrician took the various lights down to swap them, he asked me who had done the install, and if I had paid for it, because it was sloppy work. He had no skin in the game, and there was no benefit to him to bad-mouth anyone, I didn't even share names.
There were loose (as in not attached to anything) screws in the housing on one of the lights and the ceiling fan, screws were stripped in two of the three fixtures, the mounting plate on the ceiling fan was bent, it was not properly secured to prevent the fan from rocking at higher speeds, and the mechanism that controls the dimmer and timer function was damaged. So, either these were items that were damaged and/or defective when the fan was unboxed, or they were damaged during the installation. So either I was not informed that the item I purchased was damaged when it was unboxed, and it was installed anyway (which is uncool), or it was mishandled during installation, damaging a $350 ceiling fan. I ended up purchasing a replacement ceiling fan (same make and model), which was installed by someone else, and amazingly enough the nonexistent led dimming and timer functions now work. Based on the findings by the other electrician subsequent to the original install, and the company's response, I think even less of them than before.

Was having an issue with 2 outlets. One indoor and one outdoor. The power kept going in and out. I reached out to several electricians and Mauricio was one of the quickest to respond. The quote he gave me was very reasonable and I was able to book a next day appointment. He was very helpful and professional and did the job pretty quick. Overall would highly recommend!!!!!

There were two characteristics that stuck out for me with John. One was his excellent craftsmanship. His work is very neat, well thought out and meticulous. Now there are probably many electricians who display these same traits but what sets John apart from the other contractors we met or talked with was the second characteristic I wanted to point out. His customer service is outstanding. He follows up when he says he will follow up, he calls when he says he will call, he arrives when he says he will arrive. He also takes the time to explain what he is doing and provides you options of taking one path or another. And, although he takes his work seriously, he took the time to chat with us after he was done. Very personable. His prices were very reasonable as well and he makes the effort to save you money without sacrificing safety. If you are looking for a great electrician who understands customer relations then call him.

Ever had the feeling you were buying a service that you had no possibility of ever understanding... and vaguely feeling you may be getting hosed? You won't have to worry about that if you try Solomon Electrical. You will get a clear explanation of the service provided. You will get the price quoted or an explanation of any change. They will not look down their nose at your 1940's wiring and declare it needs to be entirely replaced. I just used them today and am very happy with the quality of the work and the the reasonable price. 5 Stars it is!

From beginning to end, it was a pleasure working with Beau, Dominique, Cody & Ian! They are all very professional and we are very happy with both the quote and the service. We have high 18 feet ceilings and they hung two chandeliers, one in our entryway and the second in our dining area. I would highly recommend Redhawk Electric for all future jobs and to my family, friends and clients. Thank you so much!

I choose Shaun after doing a bunch of research on the web for local san diego cabling companies. I had Shaun put in cat6 lines and a new coax drop for my office. The work is exactly what I was hoping for and Shaun was very nice and did a wonderful job. The price was better than some of the other quotes that I got but I choose Shaun because he was the most responsive on my initial search and was able to give me an estimate right out of the gate.
I will definitely recommend him to friends looking to run ethernet and will use him again if I need to expand or adjust my connections needs.

Got 6 recessed lights in my living room. I have a tall slope ceiling without existing lights . Next level did a great job. The price is reasonable. I got 3 quotes at least. They are very professional, on time, they wear shoe covers and they clean up after. The job and materials has also 5 yr warranty. My living room looks brighter and nicer. Im a satisfied customer. Will use this company again.

Alan's team did an excellent job installing my 55 Sony LED TV in my custom built media center cabinet. It was a 2 person team and the install took about 2.5 hours. At first i was thinking that i could do it but I'm glad I got the professionals to install my TV. I am very happy customer and would definitely recommend him. I found this company at the Del Mar home show back in February.

We had a dimmer fail in our dining room. Dimmers being what they are can be tricky for the uninitiated of whom I consider myself. The dimmer turned out to be a unit that needed a special order etc etc....Ben Day was the electrician on the job and we could not be happier. We have already recommended them out to some friends and plan on using them again. Great guys.

Called last minute for help with a DIY project gone wrong. Was able to fit me in the next day, and re-wired my entire kitchen/living room in 7 hours, even sweeping and vacuuming when finished. Super friendly, hardworking guys! Manager even stopped by to check the progress and see if I needed anything else. They were clean, on-time and extremely knowledgable. You can tell they pride themselves on efficiency, cleanliness and excellent customer service!!
Thank you so much Louie and Sean for all your hard work! Your job exceeded my expectations ten-fold and I'm so happy to have found you on Yelp. Thanks for being great with the kitty and puppy as well!!!!!!!

I was so fortunate that Chris from Energy Electric answered my call about my problem with an electrical outage that affected my master bedroom, computers, and TV. He guided me through some over the phone tests to determine source of the problem and then arranged to get the correct breakers/fuse that were needed to fix it. He was at my house the next morning and was able to get everything back to normal in a short time. I really value his expertise and commitment to fixing my problem. Highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of hiring Eric to come knock out a number of electrical needs at my home. He reconditioned our panel, installed two new exterior wall lights with new electrical service, trenched in some landscape lighting etc... Everything was done quickly even during the Holidays and he was a pleasure to get to know. Finding an honest person who cares about their workmanship and treats your home as if it is their own is hard to find. Eric is that man. He will be working with me for years to come.
