Excellent work and will hire again if I need their help.  Home inspection during my buy of a condo found the subpanel to not be up to code.  Alfredo replaced the subpanel and noted that the GFIs in the master bathroom were not working because one of the circuits had been overloaded and saw signs of scorching and smoke.  He had to cut through the ceiling to rewire to the bedroom.  Work was clean and excellent job buttoning up the knock outs.  Fixed code issues and possible fire hazards for extremely reasonable cost.

I am a newbie trying to build a house.  I had a minor item that I needed help with and Zed Electric was happy to help  - even though it wasn't a very profitable job for them.  

Before calling Zed, I had tried 4-5 companies who all said they didn't want the work because it wasn't really worth the time.

Now (a couple of months later) I am looking at a large electrical project and you can be sure that Zed is the first place I go.  They have earned my loyalty and respect.

Daniel is very responsive and knowledgeable.  On both his visits, he was very thorough to diagnose the electrical issues and repaired them the same day.  

During his last visit, he noticed we had an older fan/vent in our power room and that we tried to replace it with a newer model ourselves (it's been months since we made the attempt and we've left it untouched since). He offered to change it out for us knowing it was going to take hours. He quoted us what we thought was fair and replaced it the same day.

Daniel is also very reliable, has superb customer service and competitive pricing. We highly recommend!!

I was also interested in getting a security camera installed in the future and he gave me some great recommendations to help save me some money. Eddie came by on the day and time specified earlier in the week and did a great and diligent job installing updated outlets and switches throughout our condo. In addition, he alerted me to potential future safety issues and provided estimates on the spot. We will happily use Eddie again and we continue our updates.

We asked Carlos and his team to install recessed lighting in our living room. The ceiling is high so not the easiest job to do yourself. Carlos was very professional and courteous when he came out to assess the job. He told us we only needed 4 lights when we thought we needed more, so we appreciated that. On the day of the job, him and Victor came out, and even arrived early. They quickly set everything up and finished the whole job very quickly. The quality of their work is outstanding. Carlos even changed some wiring of existing switches at our request (not part of the job but as a courtesy when we asked). They also took great care of our things and were very careful when moving items around. Overall they did a great job, and at a very reasonable price. You can't go wrong with these guys.

We closed escrow and La Costa Electric came and prepped ceiling fan boxes which I installed.  They also prepped a box for a large chandelier we wanted. We want to have them back to add another light in the laundry area and recommended them to a neighbor who wants the same ceiling fan boxes installed. Quick to fix issues and very responsive over texts and phone calls. Was able to work with our schedule since he had to come at dark to work with our light that only turns on at sunset. Would recommend and use him again for future issues.
