We had an outlet making a crackling noise and sparking so we were really concerned about an electrical fire. He came out over the weekend and was quick, efficient, reliable, and had fair prices. We will be using him again any time we have electrical issues in the future!

George and Danny are awesome. They made time on a short notice (request) and switched out an old light in the laundry room and installed a new one. The work was done very professionally and they are courteous. I would recommend them.

I've had the guys from Martin Electric out twice now, and both times they preformed exceptional work and what I felt a reasonable price.

They installed ceiling fans, adding ceiling lights, switches, and added many outlets for a new office.  Bill and his guys were very efficient, neat and respectful.  They always cleaned up completely at the end of these very messy jobs.

Was a repeat customer that attempted to schedule an appointment with him this month. Spoke to him once, texted him once and left a voice message. Never got an appointment scheduled and he didn't have the courtesy of responding to my numerous inquiries. All he had to do was tell me that he was simply too busy to schedule an appointment with me.

Reliable, inexpensive and trustworthy! Jeff Parkllan has done electircal several jobs at our home over the past 5 years. We called him last night about a new electrical issue and Jeff was here today and fixed the problem in under two hours! Jeff is always very professional and explains the problem and solution in ways that a 'non-electrician' can understand.

Sometimes you get lucky. There aren't huge numbers of reviews but I took a chance and called to compare his estimate for my described work and while the rates are comparable to other electricians, I liked Stuart's forthright answers. We calendared a time and date for an appointment. He asked for pictures of some fixtures and switches so good indicators too.  He was prompt, did great work and listened when we walked through the house. His questions helped me make good decisions when there were options.  His company is a hidden gem in Coronado where most of his work occurs but it is worth getting him to cross that bridge.

I highly recommend Ms Sparky (Mary) for any electrical work you might come across in your home. I have used her services on several occasions and it has been a pleasure to have her complete the jobs to my satisfaction each time, and with very good communication along the way.  My first job for her was a NEMA 14-50 outlet for my then new electric car, and she has since done two more installations like that as I have moved around here in Carlsbad... Mary has also installed/replaced a new electric house panel, upgrading a 100 amp service panel to a 200 amp ditto to accommodate installation of solar panels on my home. I have nothing but praise for her work and communication on the jobs she has done for me.

Jesus has done numerous jobs for me at my house. His work is excellent, on time and on budget. He always does what he says he is going to do. I highly recommend him.

I called Damon on a Tuesday and he was able to get to my place on Friday to install an outdoor outlet. He was in and out in a half hour and installed the outlet with a cover, exactly what I was looking for, for a reasonable price. I will most likely hire him to install ceiling fans and lighting as well!

Joel had done several jobs in our HOA. Honest, knowledgeable & reliable. We are fortunate to have crossed paths with him.

They installed my Nema 14-50 outlet to charge my electric vehicle.  They came out and did the project quick and efficiently.  Very friendly and courteous, would definitely use them in the future when I need electrical work!

Daniel was very professional and his work went above and beyond my expectations.  I had him move switches and outlets to a different part of my home as well as install new lights outside.  Everything was done perfectly and his price was more than fair.  I would recommend him to anyone!

If you want great service and unbelievable professionalism you have to use Jayson with Shoreline Electric.  I called out Jayson almost 2 years ago to do some ceiling fan installs in my home and some chandeliers.  After seeing his work and how he covered the work area and cleaned everything up once the work was complete was just beyond me.  Jayson has been doing work for my company now and I will always highly recommend him for anyone's home or business.

So, to give everyone an update regarding the most UNPROFESSIONAL Effective Electric business and its owner Ernesto in getting a job done that was requested on December 15, 2015, I contacted another electrical company. The agent/electrician showed up on time as promised, evaluated the problem and promised to come back in an hour. The electrician called me exactly in an hour and stated that he has found an appliance that will take the place of the old broken one. IT TOOK THIS GUY AN HOUR TO FIND A NEW PART and Fixed the electrical problem that we have on the same day versus Effective Electric/Ernesto that took 3 months and no result.  Effective Electric and Ernesto the owner - made us wait for 4-5 hours and DO NOT SHOW UP/NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL - on 4 Different occasions/Appointments. Effective Electric or Ernesto keeps on saying that he cannot find the parts/unit for our exhaust fan for 3 months. NO call from Ernesto as to whether he will show up and finish the job. Beware also of American Home Shield Warranty Home Insurance - Ernesto and AHS are in cahoots.  DO NOT HIRE EFFECTIVE ELECTRIC.
