Mr. Bartel is professional and very reasonably priced.  He returns calls promptly, and shows up promptly.  He knows the electrical business inside and out. The combination of great service with a great price gives him a 5 star rating.  I highly recommend using him for your electrical and wiring jobs.

Had a day and time for the install and Javier, the electrician was a no show. He called an hour after the set appointment time to reschedule I just simply said I'm going to hire another electrician.

9/15/17 Zeena, the company owner left a voicemail to apologize about the no show. She offered to make it up. Tells a lot about a company who still gives high regards to its clients. I plan to call back and reschedule when my schedule allows.

Joseph did an excellent job installing our EV charging plug.

I was referred to Oz Electric by FanDiego for a ceiling fan install. I left a message a week ago and followed up with an email. Nothing! No return call.

Incredibly nice, professional, and knowledgeable. This was the first electrician we had out for some odd-ball problems and he was able to explain the issues and troubleshooting steps in a very clear way without being condescending. Made sure to listen to understand what our goals were and made sure the job went well. 100% appreciated the work and the price beat the other quotes we could find in the area. I will definitely call back when the next issue pops up around the house down the line.

They just don't get any better that this!  On time, quick service, VERY friendly and just plain ol' good guys.  If you have electrical issues than this is the company for you.

Had a great experience with these guys. Shane was always a text away throughout the process. We had our electrical panel upgraded from a 100 to 200 amp and added recessed lights throughout the entire house. I think we ended with about 40ish cans. Had some power issues come up along the way but they were able to take care of that quickly.

Took about 2-3 days of work for everything to get done. Keith (the owner) was nice enough to come out for the day of the inspection of the panel to make sure everything went through smoothly.

Had a couple lights that stopped working and they were able to come out the same day and swap them out.

Family owned company and would definitely recommend them! Will for sure be going with them again in the future!

I have had Dave out on several occasions.  He shows up on time and ready to work.  His prices are reasonable, he is neat and does a professional job.  In October our little dog was attacked in the back yard by a coyote.  I called Dave and he came out and installed outside motion light detectors so I could see movement in the yard.   Before he left he made sure that the lights were set properly and said he would come back and adjust them for me if something changed.  I have recommended him to all my family and friends.

Maurice has done a lot of work for us and we couldn't be happier!  He always figures out a way to accomplish what we want done, even when we have tricky projects to tackle.  His rates are reasonable and we completely trust him.  We can't recommend him enough.

Needed a chandelier hung in my dining room in Huntington Beach.  They were able to fit me in the next day and installed the light quickly and professionally.  They did all this at the lowest price out of all bids.

Found this company on next door and explained I wanted about 7 bulbs replaced. The bathrooms have these hard to replace bulbs that are very high otherwise we would do it ourselves. I explained all this in detailed texts and whoever responded assumed the electrical was bad and said it wasn't worth the hassle and suggested we perform electrical work. I advised I think he misunderstood as these homes were only 6 years old and all the LED bulbs were burning out. Thought the response was rude and presumptive. Anyone know a good handyman in south OC area?

Truly should have gone through some of these reviews. The ones that give an honest not so great experience are given pretty bluntly aggressive attacks by the owner ... which I can relate to my experience and I was simply inquiring...prices had not even been addressed yet.

@Rob .. obviously I wasn't a customer. Read the text, lol. You or whomever refused to replace 7 bulbs stating the electrical was bad. I had even explained I already replaced two but the others were too high. Who would have been satisfied at this response? Literally who? You could have just politely said you were not interested .. absolutely acceptable, but instead you were rude and presumptive.

Yelpers, please note the passive aggressiveness in business owner's response. I am stating facts and this is how he speaks to potential clients. Every review less than 4-5 stars seems to receive bullying.

That's the worst part about relocating. You have to start all over in trying to establish relationships with good companies - so hard to find. We had the best electrician and plumber back in TX.

Side note..whenever I see a lot of yelp reviews with little to no profile, friends, or other reviews you can't help but wonder if they are legit.

Josh responded quickly and gave me a fair quote after reviewing photos I texted to him. We scheduled a time that worked for both of us. He arrived on time and was ready to go. After a quick walk through he jumped on the project and finished it up quickly and professionally.  The best thing was I felt comfortable with Josh - he wasn't here to rip me off or do a halfway job. It's nice to find a solid electrician - I'll be calling him in the future for sure.

Carlos was excellent. Efficient and very professional. Came out twice because I didn't have the right equipment yet, and he didn't mind at all. Invoices were clear and nicely laid out. Communication could have been a little smoother on the text messaging side, but overall job was well done.

Mickey has done a series of electrical jobs for us including the relocation of our main electric panel, the installation of light fixtures, outlets and speakers. He has done consistently excellent work. I recommend him.
