We got an EV, and we needed a home charger.  The 120V charger included with the vehicle takes several days to charge from 20% or 100%.  We needed a 240V charger.

Based on reviews, I contacted Simple Electric.  First good sign:  they did a free inspection.  I had the specs of the charger I wanted, and they showed up to verify that our wiring was capable of supporting the charger.  So I ordered the charger from SRP (they give discounts compared to retail), and scheduled a return visit to install it.

So he showed up to do the install.  The first thing he had to do was extend the wiring to a more accessible location, and then install an outlet compatible with the charger's plug.  The original outlet was not easily accessible, and the outlet style was wrong for the charger.  Everything was done to code (I asked more than once), and the new outlet box was mounted on the wall.

Next he had to change the breaker as the charger required a higher capacity breaker.  That was pretty straight forward for him.  We then tested the charger, and it worked.

As an added thing, they offered to label my breaker box since the old label from when the house was built was almost unreadable.  I had expected, based on the description, that I was going to get nice, permanent, labels.  But they ended up being the plastic strips from a label maker.  Looks terrible, though they did say that if any fall off or become otherwise unreadable that they would come out and replace them for free.  Still, I have to deduct some points for the labels.  Maybe 1/2 star, but that's enough that I can't rate 5 stars.  Everything else about their service was five-star.

The initial quote seemed a bit expensive, but I'm willing to pay for quality workmanship.  By the time he was done I realized it was actually fairly cheap.  Several hours of an electrician's time is very expensive.  Given that, the price I paid was very reasonable.

If I have future need of an electrician, I likely will call them.

I've now used Tom and his team a handful of times and will continue to do so. He and John installed three fans for us today and couldn't be happier. Not only are their prices very fair, they are punctual, courteous and do one heck of a job. Thank you all again. We will be calling for you all for four more fans very soon.

Rio was recommended to me by a designer for good reason. I called other electricians but none would give an estimate over the phone like Rio.  They did a great job, were friendly and well priced. Very happy with results.

Nate and his father Eric completed a list of 12 items at one house, and five items at a second house. I left them alone to complete their work and it was all done correctly the first time. In addition, they brought their own toolsAnd purchased additional items that were needed. But what really blew me away was that they actually cleaned up after themselves! they completed everything from drywall repair to hanging curtain rods. They completed the work quickly and were very professional. One of them is coming back again this Saturday. I have worked with several handymen before, and you will hit the jackpot if you hire these people.

I am new to Phoenix and my realtor suggested I reach out to Miguel & Vicky to help with hang some new lights etc...in my condo. We moved into a home and the electrical was just wonky (an outlet but no electricity in the island, one switch in the master bedroom can shut off power to 3/4 bedrooms, etc.) He had great knowledge, was professional/prompt and offered fair pricing. He even took the time to explain quite a few things to me and didn't seem to be bothered by my 3 dogs or screaming toddler in the least.

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

VetsBuilt was great to work with. We hired them to replace some carpet with tile and to cut a window in an internal wall to open up our living room. Despite being very busy they got these jobs done quickly and without an issue. DJ was quick to respond to inquiries and very friendly. I will definitely be using VetsBuilt for future projects.

I grew up with electric, even memorized our state's electrical code as a young kid when I helped my dad install electric in a new summer home.  So I tend to do everything by myself.

But over the past 25 years or so I've had to resort to using someone else due to work travel. First two were horrible, I had to fix their poor work. We got lucky with Trinity around 2000 and have used them ever since.

Honest, very knowledgeable throughout the company and they are friendly while being very cost effective.

Abdul worked for about three hours. Charged $500 primarily for labor with minimal cost for under sink connectors and valves. Failed to furnish a complete invoice reflecting what he did for the $500 charged. Would never rehire.

The positive reviews are legit- Kurt installed our kitchen sink and faucet and did a great job. Punctual, professional, knowledgeable and a heck of alot cheaper than a plumber. We won't hesitate to use Kurt again!

This father and son team is exceptional. These men are very knowledgeable, down to earth and very pleasant.

I hired Rick to install 3 light fixtures. The job was completed quickly and done right. All my questions were answered with candor and respect. They even moved the furniture back and vacuumed the area at the end! Outstanding.

We had a couple damaged baseboards that needed to be repaired in a timely manner due to selling our home. Andrew responded immediately and was able to get the job done as soon as the next day. As good as it gets!  Raphael installed new switches and a two Panasonic Whisper Ceiling ventilation fans in our master bathroom.   Installation was professional, fast and very tidy.  What I liked most about Raphael's approach to installing fans and recessed lighting was how careful he was not to make unnecessary holes in the drywall to pull wires, etc. He was careful to make the ceiling cutout a perfect fit for the fan. We have a 1 story house with good attic access and he worked in the attic rather than cut more drywall holes.   Have had electricians that punched crazy holes in the ceiling and the cost to repair drywall can really add up.

Professional and easy to work with.

Would use again for electric based projects.

I really wish that I could give this business a good review.  When Terry came to my house to give me an estimate he was friendly and seemed knowledgeable.  After showing him the many projects I had in my new house he said he was very busy and was scheduling 2 weeks out.  I was told I would have an estimate by the next week.  The cost for an estimate was $75, and I was told that if I chose to proceed that cost would be credited to my bill.  After multiple requests for my estimate over the next couple of weeks and being told various time frames for receiving it, I finally gave up.  It is now 6 weeks later and the only thing that has been done is the cashing of my check-that was done by the next day.

Update to review, I did receive a refund for my $75.
