I had Tab Electric put in a couple outside junction boxes and fix an outdoor outlet that wasn't up to code. Tom the owner came out to do an estimate and the job was scheduled for a couple days later. Eric and Jessup came out to do the work and everything came out exactly as I wanted it. They even cleaned everything up after so you couldn't tell they had been there. I definitely recommend Tab Electric to anyone needing electrical services and I'll be using them again.

I bid this job out to several companies. Eric and his team with Tab electric was not only the best during the bidding and quote process but I could it be more pleased with the work they did.

I had the add wiring and install a mini split unit. Run wire for future mini split add and added a line for a car charger.

They work looks great and I could not be more please with the professionalism and the price. I will be using them for all my future electrical needs. Looking forward to my next electrical project.

I recently used TAB electric to move and hang a light fixture as well as install 2 dimmers. Not only is the scheduling with Tom and quote process seamless, but the install went beautifully! Jessup and Eric arrived early and before starting the work they were thorough with what they were tackling during the install. Once install was completed, they cleaned up the space and went over the set up with me. When installing they also left the plastic wrap on the fixture to ensure no finger prints. 10/10 recommend. Great experience with Tab electric. Rough start to Saturday morning when I lost power to a section of my house. Tom was able to come out same day, was upfront about the service call fee ( standard for all home services ) - he was able to trouble shoot and find the bad breaker, and replace it. He had to get creative in my very outdated panel, and was diligent about understand the amps running to that breaker so it will stay on. I'm curious about all things home repair so Tom did all his work with me asking him questions and trying to learn. Def plan to call Tom next time I have an issue!

I found Tab Electric through a Yelp search. I was able to contact them on a weekend and got a response immediately. Unfortunately, I was not home when they came by to do an inspection of the job, but they were able to give an estimate over email after I sent them pictures. Scheduling was easy and we were able to have them out the same week. Both the owner and the gentleman that came to complete the work were friendly. They even arrived ahead of schedule.

Work took barely any time and they put down plastic to ensure the room did not get damaged or dirty while they were working. I was able to verify everything worked and I am extremely happy with the job they did. Would absolutely use them again in the future!

Our power went out and we couldn't identify the cause - it was important because I work from home and the internet was impacted also. I called Tab because they had terrific reviews and they are absolutely amazing! Yessica answered the phone and she was personable and efficient. I told her it was urgent and she called me right back and said that Eric Doebler would be here within the hour. He was here in 30 minutes and he was incredible. He not only fixed the problem, he showed me where the problem was and how to avoid it happening again. I had lots of questions and Eric was so knowledgeable, courteous, and patient - he's been in the business 33 years, so he's seen it all! I am keeping Eric's business card on our refrigerator permanently - I'm sure we will need him again and we only want Eric!

I had my coach light timer went out and I tried fixing myself. Bought new timer but the timer wasn't displaying. Tried it over and over agin without any success. I know I'm not an electrician.

Anyhow, I was a little Leary about trying the Yelp quote again because I know an electrician can't really quote you over the phone. Anyhow, used Yelp quote and I got lots of responses but they all said to call them without telling me how much per hour. I even called one and they didn't pick up their phone. Hahaha.

So TAB contacted me through Yelp and told me their rate of $189 per hour with no hidden fees. Straight up. They even told me they could come the next day and time. I was a little worried cause I know usually electrician are booked and can schedule you out a week in advanced.

Anyhow, I had TAB come out and they came at the promised time and called before arriving. Explained my problem and they analyzed the problem, used my new timer and got it all working within a half and hour. Ryan was the electrician and he even programmed my timer and cleaned up afterwards. Ryan was very respectful and made sure I understood to cost before he started.

I am very happy with Ryan and TAB Electric. If I have any other electrical issues I will for sure call TAB electric. I know this was a small job but job well done

Tab electric installed my Tesla charger for me, in 2019, added another panel specifically for my Tesla outlet. They also, did recessed lighting in my kitchen & living room.
Very reasonably priced, professional & top notch work.
Today they came out to tighten some wires for my Tesla charger & did So, to make it right at no charge.

DO NOT!!! I repeat DO NOT go with this company. Two employees ,Eric andRyan, came by to install a 220 in my garage this morning but instead my home ended up flooding. Obviously this is an amateur move by a company that is supposed to be licensed bonded and insured most people would turn off power and water just as a safety precaution as this is something that usually happens when working in the Attic. I have included some evidence, will update with more later as this case is still under investigation. I am not happy how the owner is handling this he is being very defensive and is not taking responsibility for his employees in the state instead of trying to blame me and saying that he shouldn't have taken this job. How am I to blame??? You said that you can do the job I was in the other room working next thing I know my house is being flooded. I will definitely update this review after things are settled. ----NEGATIVE stars----
Also if you have a problem or a complaint with them please file through ROC this also applies for any contractors that are licensed, you can file with ROC and they'll investigate and have the issue on their record.

This is updated to the owner's response please don't act like you had compassion because I do remember you immediately saying that you called your lawyer then HANGING UP ON ME when I called you the second time to update you on this situation. Sometimes it's BEST to just take the review as is and stop trying to damage control. I will be uploading more pictures and evidence soon. Please ensure I have evidence of everything and I'm sure your employees know that I have cameras all around my house which does record audio and video. So if you plan on making excuses for the behavior I will be glad to upload videos so potential customers do not fall into the same predicament I'm in.

Beware - bait and switch estimate provided through Yelp.

I requested an estimate to replace 40 light switches throughout my house through Yelp. I provided specific information - that the replacements would be a combination of standard rocker switches and Lutron smart switches.

Tab electric responded quickly and had what seemed to be a reasonable estimate - $23 per switch to be swapped out. This totaled about $900 for all of the switches in the house that needed to be swapped.

When they arrived and saw that the job they said it was more complex than expected - apparently because I placed the replacement switches next to each receptacle they would be installed into outside of the packaging. Or perhaps it was because there are five 3-way switches which surprised them and they hypothesized without looking at any of the wiring in the wall that it would be more complex. At first they started to call another technician and then suddenly they told me they would need to write up a new estimate and left.

I received the revised estimate today - $50 per switch (vs. $23 originally). Why is this suddenly more than double their standard switch installation fee, especially when they already had the type of switches involved in advance? I received estimates from others in the same $23-30 range per switch. I chose Tab because they responded with what seemed to be a reasonable estimate first.

I wouldn't have a problem if the initial estimate were higher - I would have just saved my time and chosen another electrician who provided a more reasonable cost. If you're not sure of the job based on the details provided in the request through Yelp either ask for more details or request to do an in-person estimate first. Don't low-ball the initial estimate just to get in the door and then jack it up.

Avoid TAB Electric.

We suspected that we had an overloaded circuit in our kitchen so we called TAB to correct the problem.

We were charged a mandatory $189 fee to come to our home. The unmasked electrician (we were both wearing masks) quickly verified the overloaded circuit and proposed installing a new 120 volt 20 amp breaker into our existing panel and running a new 30' - 40' long wire through the ceiling to the microwave - a 3-4 hour job max. He wanted to charge us $1350 plus the $189 troubleshooting fee!

For reference, at a different house 20 months ago we had a new 200 amp panel installed with permits that involved the installation of over 60 new breakers for around $2500. Yes, I understand that the cost of materials has been severely impacted by supply chain issues and shortages, but seriously, how much does a single breaker and 30' or 40' of wire cost? Another estimate that we received for this job was for $600-$800!!

TAB's business model seems to be charge a high minimum trip fee and then offer to perform the job for about 2X what should be charged. Even if half the people are savvy enough to realize how much TAB are trying to rip you off and decline the work, they still pocket $189 for doing f@*k all for less than an hour's work and then off to the next victim.

I consider myself a super handy gal. I can work on cars, lay pavers, and much more. I recently discovered, much to my dismay, that I am clearly not a licensed electrician! While this didn't come as a huge surprise, I found that I had so many electrical projects that needed to get done that it was time I brought in a professional. Honestly, I was tired of living in my house with so many things missing that would make my life easier and safer. After much research and intensive deliberation I chose TAB Electric for a variety of reasons. Fantastic Yelp reviews, a detailed quote, and the great TAB team quickly convinced me that they were the right electricians for my jobs. The owner, Tom, is very nice and communicative. Tom sent out Ryan to do the quote and Jason and Ryan completed my projects expediently and with the utmost expertise. Here is what I had done: new Ring floodlight wired and installed on the front of my garage, a power switch that was trapped inside the garage cabinets (don't ask) moved to where they were accessible, dining light moved to center of the table so I no longer hit my head on it, outdoor porch pool light added, side yard floodlight at the peak of the house updated from the 1960's, 2 bedroom pull lights wired to work on the light switches so I can finally put post Victorian era lights in those rooms, and switches moved so I can widen a doorway that only a super skinny person or child could squeeze through. TAB Electric and Ryan and Jason seamlessly took care of all of these projects in an afternoon and I truly couldn't be happier. Their work was clean, fast, affordable and right. I highly recommend this company with no hesitation for any project you may have.

Happy to hire TAB Electric to install my Electric Vehicle ChargePoint station. I was in a rush to get this thing installed before the end of the year because of the federal tax credit available to EV owners. Shout out to the office staff and Tom for being so responsive and accommodating. The electricians, Humberto and Jason were great to talk with and they answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. They worked fast and were very professional and friendly. They also replaced two hallway lamp sconces that I've needed to get done and Jason did a perfect job removing the very old sconces and not peeling/tearing paint away and making a mess. I bought two new sconces that were almost identical in size and I was hoping that I wouldn't have to do a lot of paint touchup around the area. So thanks guys! I called and set up an appointment for a light to be hung and let them know it is a 20 foot ceiling. They did not come prepared with a ladder to get to the light. I let them know I have a ladder to get them there, Eric came up started moving the ladder and said oh I have a bad back and shoulder, so I moved the ladder in and set it up. Then Eric comes in and said they can't use my ladder and they have to bring a 3 man team to hang the light so the cost will have to go up. The problem is they knew it was a 20 foot ceiling when they were coming out so they should of been prepared, and then they saw my house and wanted to charge more to hang the light. I called them in the first place because they are a small independent shop that is local, stick with a bigger shop for your electrical needs. Even if it is just hanging a light.

Only giving TAB 4 stars because one of the Electricians (we had Tom and Kevin) tracked dirt throughout the house. Kevin and Tom told us to write a good review to help promote their company. While it may be a bit needy, I respect that they want us to spread the word about their phenomenal services. They were quite a bit late, but since they informed us that they had an issue with their truck; I won't take off a star because their communication was better than many repairmen I've used. Tom and Kevin went out of their way to buy new LEDS and switch the panels for us. They ran to the store and bought supplies for us and got back to the house fast. They installed the bulbs in a very quickly (but not rushed) manner. Thanks for the friendly and quick work!

I had an appointment set up with Tab for tomorrow morning. Today at 1:30 i received a call from them asking if they could come between 2:30 and 3 today. I said yes. Someone called be saying he would be here. I called him back at 3:50 asking where he was. He said another guy was coming. So then I got a call from the owner who said well then just cancel the job like a kid would say and blamed it in his employees and said they were be hearing about all this later. By that time I just didn't want anymore to do with them and called another company.

Used this business twice, and had somewhat mediocre results both times. First go-around, dude who was here, doing some simple light replacements, did a sloppy job and took WAYYYYYYY more time than I/we/He expected. So much so, he didn't charge me for the last 2 hours he was working.

Second time I had them out, guy did a good job, but had an unpleasant attitude. At the end of the gig, he was supposed to give me a quote on a few more things... Told me he would figure it out after he left & get back to me, never heard from him. I guess he/they don't need the business, or jut too busy.

Whe we remodeled our home a year later, I called someone else instead. That pretty much explains how I feel abou this company.

Just had TAB Electric install an outside patio light with a switch in our family room. Excellent job and workmanship. Took a little longer than we would have liked, due to our lights not being compatible with a remote switch. We had to go for the hard wired option.
We have vaulted ceilings which left insufficient room to work in the attic. But Tom and his crew were up to the challenge and completed everything in a professional manner.

We were hiring for a major wiring job at our house, starting with one outlet, so we planned to hire someone to first fix the outlet then give us a quote for the larger job. Another company contacted us first to schedule a free quote, but TAB Electric contacted us shortly after to say they could actually *fix* the outlet that same day! The representative I spoke with explained the price of a basic outlet repair, and I told him it would likely be more complicated; he replied the technician would tell us how much the full outlet job would be and we could decide if we wanted to proceed at that time. On the day of work, the technicians contacted us on their way and showed up on time. Great start! However, they told my husband (I was busy with our kiddos in another room) they couldn't determine the cost without opening up the outlet - which would cost $189. This charge was not mentioned on the initial call. My husband agreed to it since he thought they would do the full repair afterward. Once they opened the outlet, they said they *couldn't* do the repair that day; the best they could do was a temporary fix and give us a quote for the rest of the job if we wanted it done. We were already out $189, so my husband agreed even though he could have done this fix himself. They also did not say if the payment would go toward paying for the rest of the job.

Once I received the receipt and found out what had happened, I was disappointed and frustrated. If we had been told up front - without being charged - that they could not do the work that day, we would not have proceeded. I contacted TAB, and the owner stated he wanted to make things right and would refund us for the misunderstanding. Then he spoke with his crew and called to say the best he could do was a 50% refund because they had actually done some work and then given us a quote.

It has been over a week, and we have not received our partial refund by check or to our credit card. Also, for those to whom this matters, the technicians did not wear masks (even though we did and we have young children). Needless to say, we will not be hiring them for our larger wiring job.

Put a request through Yelp for a quote he said please send number so we can call to get more details we spoke on phone confirmed someone would be out between 9-2 to quote job and they could pencil the job to be done this week either Wednesday or at the latest Friday . 2:30 rolls around and no one shows. I call the number and they say they don't have me on the books. Super inferiorating to wait around all day then have them challenge that this whole phone discussion took place yesterday and that I should have confirmed through the Yelp app. Terrible customer service! Back to the drawing board! Why is it so difficult to find good help!

We met with Tom in March to upgrade to a 200 amp service panel that would support the installation of 2 heat pumps that would replace 3 old swamp coolers and an old gas furnace on an 80 year old house.
Tom provided with a quote and said he could start the following week. Before we had even hired Tom he had already contacted the utility company and the city. Tom worked efficiently along side other contractors to get a lot of work done in a very short time period. His team was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Tom treated my family like we were his family and he understood the urgency of the job we asked him to do. My pool filtration system failed and by the time it was discovered that no power was getting to the filtration system the pool was very dirty and very green. I called TAB Thursday, they diagnosed and gave me estimate Friday, and the work was completed by Saturday morning at 9 am. The system was back in operation just after 9 am. I hardly ever have electrical work done, so have no idea if the price was high or low, although the promptness was beyond what I expected.

I had Tab electric bid a spa electric service Tom came out bid the job and got back to me right away. I gave my ok to the bid an they said they could start in a couple days. They showed up on time completed the work in 2 1/2 hours picked up after themselves asked if there was anything else they could do I am very happy with the work. In response to TAB owner/mgr Tom's whiny comment for the one star review I gave his company service, he admits I gave an honest opinion and it was my right to do so yet, Tom felt the need to attack why I haven't given the tech who actually installed my ring doorbell a rating....well first the tech was affordable, experienced and ready to install, how's that Tom? How do you know I didn't give him a review on the big name store's website where I purchased it, this comment site isn't the only one. Why is it your business to tell me who to comment on right or wrongly? Forget it pal your service was highly costly I can't take that back it would be dishonest no matter the pressure you try to push. Gas and time usage is part and parcel of all service related businesses so ask yourself why are some businesses affordable? How about this, people like myself get a couple or so estimates to determine who gets the job. It's also because successful businesses figured out return customers and their referrals work wonders for their bottom line. Problem solving is a unique and vital feature of success, that's where the money is at! Gas is now a burden to all of us Tom, private and commercially, best to find ways that work well instead of using sticker shock prices, stay in your lane Tom.

Do not recommend. The price the salesman gave us was immediately changed when the the salesman spoke to his boss. The Owner was verbally abusive when questioned about price change. Tom, the owner yelled into phone I don't want your business, have a nice life and hung up. This child doesn't know what professionalism means. If they handle a simple quote this way, what else would they do in this manner. Bad excuse for a company. I wonder how many other customers he's treated this way.

This company promptly responded to request, accomodated my schedule next day and were able to come earlier so called. Explained quickly what was needed and options, then proceeded to hook up new gfci switch and outlet for new pool light at same time. Eric showed me how it works, then test gfci for me to show that also works and communicated 30 day guarantee for work and to let them know if anything else was needed. He also explained why new breaker was not needed and this would save me money. Thank you, Tab Electric.

The great reviews are true! My elderly parents lost power to half of their home. Summer in Phx with half the electricity in the home is not easy. I live in CA and I found Tom and Tab on Yelp and was very happy. They were able to come out quickly to check out the issue and provide a quote. Slight miscommunication on me not sharing fully what was going on, not being asked, and someone not knocking on the door to speak with my parents on the issue. When I got the quote from Tom, I told him what the issue was, which was new information to him. I told him I would shop around for more quotes and get back to him. Monday morning he called and said he would like to send someone out to my parents place again to see if the power could be restored and for a fraction of the initial cost. I appreciate the initiative he took to learn more, the additional trip, and my parents had power again in the 100+ degree weather. Thank you Tom and Tab, you have customers for life.

TAB electric was able to come out within 24 hours of me calling, which was great! Half our house had lost power and they were able to resolve the issue within 30 minutes!

The service window was 8-10 AM but we got a call in the morning asking if it was okay to come earlier and I was happy to have that happen! Everything was fixed by 8:15.

Very friendly and professional. We will call them again for any electrical issues (hopefully we don't have many!)

Availability was instant (which may be a red flag), however the price was nearly 3x what other companies quoted me. Shop around. I requested an invoice or breakdown of the quote to ensure my expectations, and what was being offered where the same, and was told they don't provide any cost breakdown. Based on the job I needed, materials should have been under $200, and its a half a days work. I know labor is high, but $600 PER HOUR for 4 hours seems a bit excessive.

Read another review complaining about the price and quoting prices for parts from Lowe's. The owner's response is what made me choose this company. And I was not disappointed. They did two different jobs for me in four days. Both were done clean and professional and I know I can call them if something goes wrong. Plus the guy kind of reminded me of Dax Shepard. Hahaha

For the record I did not price shop. Maybe someone out there is cheaper, maybe a lot cheaper, but I feel I got value for my money in the service I received and I will be calling them again if I need any more electrical work done.

Humberto H and his colleague E arrived on-time and were friendly, efficient and helpful. They replaced two 6ft Garage ceiling lights, two out door sconces, added an outlet in the bathroom, fixed a few misc. items and took the garbage from the new lighting. They even helped move a few items out of the way to get to the ceiling lights.
It's hard to find great service and we found it with TAB and will use for future electrical needs.

I have been using TAB for my office for the last year and they've always done a great job. They're fairly priced and their work is meticulous.

Today, they came to my house to install a Tesla wall charger. They had to run a ton of conduit in the sweltering heat and drill through my block wall but they got it done. I now get 48 amps to my car. Awesome job.

I will use them again at the office and certainly when my wife gets an EV.

I could not be happier with he service that TAG provided for installing an electric outlet for an electric car in my garage. Tom is a stand up guy that is honest and fair. I went to bid with a couple of other companies and he was the only one that recommended bringinf out two other electricians on his team to ensure the job was done correctly and effeciently. This was not an easy job as it required bringing a line from the other side of the house to my garage but they figured it out in a safe manner.

I also appreciated Jason's honesty and friendliness with his help. I work for APS and received TAG as a recommendation from a fellow peer at work. I was not disappointed and I would highly recommend them.

I always say, Anyone can make mistakes. It's how they respond to their mistakes that makes difference.

To be fair, I am not saying Tab electric made a mistake first place.
It could very well be due to change in City regulation, etc.

Anyway, I got an EV charger installed by Tab.
They did a great job, and everything was working fine.
City inspector came by a year later for my solar roof. Stated I should've got permit for the charger.

I reached out to Tab, and they got back to me right away.

I can say with confidence, they put their customer first.
Not only take updated and resolved the issue right away, (which by the way, very well not needed at the first place)

They also took care of permit issue, since I was caught between. (once again, whether permit was needed is still in question, but they just went with City for my sake)

These are guys don't pinch pennies when it comes to their job.
It is hard to find a good like like Tab. Not only they did a great job, but they stood up behind their work.

I know I will be using them in the future for everything.

I saw Tab Electric ad on TV and on the same day saw their truck at a home on my street. I called them to provide a quote on adding can lights in the kitchen, adding pendant lights over the island and adding switches. They answered right away, set up an appointment within the next couple of days. Eric arrived on time, friendly, knowledgeable. Provided a quote by the next morning. I called to schedule appt - was able to come out within a week. Arrived yesterday on time with friendly, professional crew. Crew got started. Covered everything in plastic. Eric stopped over during the project and stayed until project was complete. All came out great, they cleaned everything up. We are very satisfied with their service. We had a water pipe break under our kitchen sink. After being out of our house for a week, we found that the outlets in the kitchen were water damaged and not working. It turned out that the outlet under the sink tripped all other outlets on the line. Tab was quick to respond and installed a new line from under the sink to the refrigerator outlet. Two technicians worked for a little over an hour. Was pleased that they were able to resolve the issue for under $500.

Wow! What service from start to finish...Thank you, Yelpers for steering me to Tab Electric with incredible marks from many recent patrons. You all were spot on!

After being jolted out of bed with the sound of all 4 alarms blaring yesterday at 5 am, I determined no fire existed. Thank God. I googled, and was reminded to cut circuit breakers...Ladies, know where your fuse box is...which resolved the alarms sounding. Reset the breakers, brewed coffee, posted on my HOA site the incident...to which, I was informed that fire alarms last about 10 years! Time for replacements! Thus, began my Yelp search.

Contacted Tab Electric, still early, but I received an estimate...made a phone call, set up an appt for the very next day! at noon. Guess what??? Tom from Tab called me at 9 am and asked if they could show early...say what?! Tom and Poncho arrived w equipment in hand, asked about masks, and replaced all 4 alarms w batteries...tested my old...they were 100%...also, looked at my fuse box, reset outlets, and made sure i knew which were connected...where! Just wow!!

Tom and Poncho...Above and Beyond Service! Can't thank you enough for making a frightening experience a responsible repair with a learning curve for me...and my dinner guests tonight!!!

We needed an external floodlight/camera installed which also required power be run to the mounting spot. Tab responded quickly to my request with a clear estimate for the work. We scheduled for three days later and the two techs showed up precisely on time. We talked about what I needed, they made a recommendation and proceeded with the job. Both techs were very friendly and efficient - they finished the job (including clean up of debris) in less than an hour. They stayed until I had the light/camera set up and working and the charge was exactly per the estimate I was given. I cannot say how pleased we are with Tab and will look to them again in the future if needed.

Hired TAB Electric to come install new recessed lighting in my bedrooms of my new house. I was referred to them by a friend, and I wasn't disappointed! They did a great job all around, finished doing 12 lights all in one day. I had them patch the drywall where some relief cuts were made for wiring, and the patching was done very well and cleanly, I was able to sand and paint that night already. Beware of TAB Electric - overcharging. I'm a bit torn in writing this post, but want to help others avoid what just happened to me. I had TAB Electric over to add new outlets to hide behind wall mounted TVs. I've had this done before with other electricians and found pricing to be in the $125 to $175 range for this type of service, but would expect a bit less when doing multiple on the same trip. TAB showed up, and I showed them where I wanted the outlets. They quickly began the work and finished all 3 rooms in 45 minutes. It was 2 electricians and 45 minute work. They prepared an invoice and handed it to me for $825!!! When I told them that was outrageous they called their office and came back with, we'll only charge you $200 per outlet, or $600 total. They would not accept any less. I called the owner to let him know I felt ripped off by that charge and I wouldn't be using them again. The owner then called his guys and called me back to say he's sending me a check for $75, to bring the total down to $525. He never asked if I was happy with that or felt any differently about being ripped off. I would have told him that if he had quoted me $525 before starting the job, I never would have hired them to do it. And $525 for 2 guys for 45 minutes work IS A RIPPOFF! I am not happy, and will never use this company again.

I will say, their workmanship was exceptional. They knew what they were doing, did a great job, cleaned up well and got the job done quickly. I have nothing bad to say about the work they did, only about the way they charge for their work.

Should you use TAB Electric - please be aware of their tactics to try to grossly overcharge for their services.

So disappointing. With all the stellar reviews on Yelp we were really looking forward to working with TAB Electric on several small electrical needs around the house. But the communication and customer service for TAB Electric was very disappointing. Apparently the crew was frustrated that there were other workers in the house at the time they were working and some decisions regarding placement were not decided on yet (understandable). But instead of communicating the issues and their frustrations with us, they had an emergency and left with none of the tasks complete. When we called the main number to express our frustration, the dispatcher on the call was not helpful and continued the lie about there being an emergency. He did not apologize or show any sort of understanding for our frustration and inconvenience. I privately messaged the owner through Yelp immediately afterwards and did not receive a response till Monday at 10am, two hours before the crew was supposed to come back. His message finally explained the real reason they left, and he also said we were hostile to his employee on the phone and therefore was cancelling the appointment. Like I wrote in my response to him, if we were just communicated with and spoken to with some honestly we would have worked with the team for a solution and completely avoided this entire situation. And we were absolutely NOT hostile on the phone with the dispatcher. Disappointed? Yes. Frustrated? Yes. Wanting to speak to a manager or owner or someone with actual customer service skills? Yes. But not hostile. I'm sad to say that I do not recommend working with this company.

My garage outlets stopped functioning and I had initially tried to repairs myself however I could not resolve the issue. I talked with a couple handyman services people and they never showed up, missing appointments and rescheduled appointments day after day. I found TAB on Yelp because of the great reviews and they answered the phone immediately, scheduled an appointment for next day, showed up right on time (and even called in advance) treated me very professionally, and walked me through the problem diagnosis in detail and fixed it in well under an hour. They didn't play any games or try to create a bigger job; just fixed it for a very fair price and went above an beyond by not only fixing the outlet, but inspecting the main breaker box as well, identifying a loose connection that caused a wire to be burnt and melted which would have caused more issues going forward and even potentially a fire. Eric was my technician and he was exceptional; he said he has been doing this for 30 years and I would recommend TAB to everyone. They will be my first call going forward.

He took the time to figure out how our electrical system worked and was able to determine what was needed. It turned out that the AC repair person had not completely done their job. Tom did his part, however, and helped us hold the other company accountable for their work. When the AC person came back out, it turned out that Tom was correct in his suspicion. I also want to complement Tom for coming to our home and making it a priority despite his busy schedule when he learned that we did not have AC. What a breath of fresh air to deal with and honest vendor!

Great customer service! We recently moved in to our new home knowing there was a hefty amount of electrical work that needed to be done. I emailed TAB Electric a rundown of what to expect and prepared accordingly by sending a team of four well-coordinated and patient gentlemen to get the job done in 1 day! My husband and I had a ceiling fan & wall switch installed on a 20 ft ceiling by Bryan & Corey this past Monday. These gentlemen were so professional, courteous, polite, good-natured, highly skilled...I could go on and on. They wore masks, offered to clean up after work was finished (wasn't really much of a mess, so I declined), took our old fan away, and even ran out to the store to grab paint and meticulously painted our old downrod so it would look great with our new fan. They even returned to our house later on after the work was complete (at my husband's request) to return a remote that came with our new fan that was left in the box, even though it was completely unnecessary because he realized afterwards we didn't even need it. But they didn't complain, just came right back and gave him the remote. That's customer service.
The price was very fair (especially since it's clear they are skilled professionals) and they worked with us on all our requests. We will be requesting Bryan & Corey in the near future after we get a pendant light for by our front entrance. Hire these guys!

When I disputed the charges, the guy was mad that he can only take little amount off the bill that if I can pay that, I will hear from his Lawyer. Not only that they have one racist worker who was asking me to go back to my Country that this is how they do in America, if I can't afford the price they will put my house on lien. I was extremely and happily surprised when the men from TAB showed up exactly the time they said they would. 2 very nice young men came in and went right to work. Even my barking dogs didn't slow them down. Then, to top things off, they asked if there was anything else I could think of that they could do. That was a first!
Would I recommend them to anyone? Absolutely!
And oh...the price was great too!

Tom and his team were knowledgeable, friendly, professional and just lovely to have working in my electrical projects. I can now charge my Tesla without melting an outlet, see when I'm applying makeup at my vanity and feel safe taking out the garbage at night. Plus, as a new homeowner, I know who I'll call anytime I have an electrical need. I even cashed this one in already, when my a/c went out in Saturday. Not know where to start (new homeowner) Tom came in, after hours, to confirm power was good and it was indeed my a/c unit. He provided me with a great referral to come and help. If we could give a 10 star rating, I would.

Some of our outlets started not working for some reason and we getting ready to launch a major remodel of our home. We needed help ASAP. I found TAB on Yelp and they were incredibly responsive and sent Bryan over the next day. He arrived on time, investigated the issues and got the first round of items corrected for a very reasonable price.

While doing the updates, he (and our construction manager) noticed that most of the wiring was not to code so when we tore up the kitchen Byran rewired the infrastructure so we would be code-compliant,. The morning Bryan was scheduled to install the kitchen wiring, he was ill so the owner, Tom, came to the job site first thing in the morning as he didn't want to delay the rest of the project. He called in Jason from another job to address the time-sensitive wiring that was needed in the kitchen so the rest of the project could proceed. Awesome!!

Bryan also had to rejuvenate the panel box as it was not done correctly and was 25 years old.

If you want an honest, extremely reliable, and fairly priced electrical service provider, TAB Electric is the company for you!

I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Tom, Eric and Corey of TAB Electric. From my first conversation with Tom the owner, until I shook the hand of Eric when they finished the job, this company has been nothing but 5-STAR. If i could give them a higher rating I would. I original called for a quote for a new electrical run for a Spa. Tom showed up and by the end of our visit I felt like family. He explains everything so you know exactly what he is doing. Safety is his #1 priority. He told me to get a couple more quotes. I didn't even bother. I called a few days later and scheduled the job. Eric and Corey showed up on time, explained to me what they were doing, and went to work. I checked in on them about every hour, and they were just working away. So very professional they all were! When they finished, Eric went thru and explained everything to me on how it worked. I honestly cant say enough about Tom and the people he employs. Eric and Cory a huge thank you to you guys. I had an unfortunate situation with a different, unlicensed, electrician. I called Tab Electric to come and check the work to which they discovered that the original electrician did not follow standard safety and code regulations for installing a hot tub/built in grill wiring. I had the opportunity to work with Mary, Jason, and Tom with Tab. They were WONDERFUL. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and were able to fit me in last minute to undo the work the original guy had done and do it correctly. I would recommend them to anyone, and even got business cards to do so. The team worked seamlessly with the landscaping coming I had who was doing my backyard renovation and even came after everything was done to verify I was happy.

Bryan came out to replace an outside light fixture and was so fast that it took him less than a hour. He graciously gave me a price break because it was such a small job. One doesn't see that happen often! I also used TAB electric a year ago for a larger job that included 3 technicians but the price was very reasonable for that project, too. Called up TAB electric and they were able to get to my house the same day which is impossible. They told me everything that needed to be done to help reduce tripped circuit breakers. They can back and did the work a week later. The cost was half of what other electricians estimated. Eric and his team were highly professional. They even educated me about the things I could do myself and told me the specific parts to get. Would HIGHLY recommend TAB electric to anyone! And will use them again in the future.

I reached out to TAB when my backyard power was on the fritz. After a very pleasant experience scheduling them over the phone, I met with Tom who provided an overview of the issues were and what was expected to get this fixed. I also decided on the spot to request a quote on installing a smart doorbell system (I had been holding off on that after reading reviews that a lot of smart doorbell systems were breaking their electrical setup). Tom spent the time explaining why those systems typically fail and all the things they would do to ensure that wouldn't happen.

They promptly sent out a detailed quote (which included things I could do/purchase beforehand to lower costs) and were able to schedule to come out almost immediately.

After a short afternoon and paying them exactly what was quoted (despite the troubles they encountered with the doorbell transformer), everything was in order and it couldn't have been easier.

I can't see me going with any other electrical company for any issue after this experience.

Our lighted ceiling fan had been installed too low during our renovation. It didn't take long to realize that we could never turn on the light because if the reflection off of the television. I can't say enough about this company in terms of reliability! I was in a time crunch, making some calls to get a next-day estimate. I ended up getting a promise from another company that ultimately didn't come through. Tom personally called me after I had scheduled with tha company but said to call if I needed anything. We called TAB to have him install a few things in our house. He had to come back and correct a few things but that's how it goes sometimes. He quoted us to install an outdoor ceiling fan. He also installed an outlet in our garage a few weeks back, that was supposed to be a GFI, and realized it wasn't later after we had paid. Also, when he went into our attic, to install the outlet, he made a complete mess. I've tried to clean but can't without having to repaint the ceiling. It's was just painted when we moved into our home 2 months ago! We have called him and he doesn't call back. Bad business. Wouldn't do business with him again or refer him!

Tom the owner cam out and fixed the issues. He was very helpful and very customer service driven. He reimbursed me for the HVAC company and will count the dollars spent on the panel rejuvenation towards a future panel replacement. I think this is very fair and I appreciate him coming out and fixing the problem this morning!

I had a Tab Electrician come to my house at approx. 2:20pm to replace two light fixtures and do a Panel rejuvenation where all the panel breakers are replaced. The two light fixtures were replaced, and the electrician moved onto the panel. After he finished and left (approx. 3:45pm), I noticed that my A/C was no longer turning on. I checked the thermostat, and it wasn't on either. I called the electrician back and he came back to look at it. As I was watching him at the panel swap breakers place to place, I saw what seemed to be a small explosion or flash. He told me it happens all the time and it was no big deal (said that he put the breakers on the wrong phase?). After troubleshooting, he told me that he tested the voltage at the thermostat and air handler, and that both were getting good voltage. He advised me that this was an HVAC problem and to call my HVAC company. I had my HVAC company come out to fix the issue ($149), and my HVAC tech let me know that there is NO voltage going to the thermostat or the unit and furthermore that due to the type of A/C unit I have the electrician would have had to go onto my roof (He did not go on the roof) to check the voltage to the air handler. I called Tab electric back (6:49pm) to have them come back and fix the problem as I paid close to $1000 dollars for this work. I was told by the after-hours rep that she put an emergency message out to the electricians. I've called back two more times and have not received a call back yet. I am incredibly frustrated as I had A/C before the suggested Panel Rejuvenation and after I do not. It is now 9:15pm and I have still not received a call back from Tab Electric. I want this solved, the suggested panel rejuvenation was suppose to 8mprove things, not take away my air conditioner when we're breaking into the 100's.

My guesthouse had a Gfci outlet go bad which caused several outlets down the line stop working. I called Tab Electric on Friday, they sent a very experienced electrician on Monday. He was able to fix the outlets without turning off the power so that my tenant could continue working without interruption. He was able to accomplish all this in under an hour. Professional, honest, price-competitive, and thorough.

Situation: I needed high voltage (240v) run across my house to a garage for two plug-in electric vehicles. The wiring is being used for a Chrysler, Honda, and a Tesla (using a Tesla Wall Charger)

Bidding: I got 3 quotes from electricians with good reviews on Yelp! I asked for several different versions of the quotes. For example: 30A circuit flipped from the washroom + 100A circuit drawn from the main panel. Of the 3 electricians, TAB (Tom) was the only one to come up with a suggestion that was both smart and economical; installing a subpanel. This not only addresses my current needs, but helps with the future situation that I described to them. TAB clearly had the best bid.

Electrical Work: It is very good; TAB's team knows what they are doing. While I am not a licensed electrician, I do have significant experience running electrical line, installing sockets, and wiring to the panel. I was present at many points during the work on my house and had the opportunity to inspect the termination points, subpanel wiring, and conduit. Not only was it within code, but it was well done.

Communication: I felt like I always was informed of what I needed to know. Tom responded promptly to my emails. He called the day preceding work to agree on an arrival time. His team members called on their way. Everyone at TAB that I dealt with was honest with me.

Professional: TAB was professional throughout. They started my job within a day of me contacting them (lucky timing). They showed up all 3 days in a row. They left the site clean and safe each day.

Post Install: TAB restored my house back to its original condition, right down to the hooks on garage wall. Major electrical projects are truly a form of construction, but no one wants live in a construction site! TAB was really good about the detailing of all the places that were impacted during the job. They came to me and told me what they needed to fix (rather than me chasing them or having me find other people afterward to fix it). They repaired the minor drip system damage and then demonstrated it to me. I was pleased in the final walk through.

Summary: If you do not know much about electrical, you can feel comfortable that TAB will do a really good job at very fair pricing.

A huge thanks to Kevin and Richard, plus the ladies in the office answering the phone today!
I had another company come out earlier today and they could not find out why there was no power to my master bedroom and bath.
I called TAB and was able to get on the schedule for today!
Kevin and Richard dug in and went the extra mile to find out the issue. Richard dug deep into my attic and found hidden junction boxes, effectively helping solve part of the mystery.
There is still work to do, and they offered great suggestions for dealing with some renovation issues the last homeowner made...but I have power throughout my house... yay! And I didn't have to take out a 2nd mortgage to make it happen.
Absolutely will use them again!
Side note: the banter between Kevin and Richard was smile inducing. We as a community are stressed about current events, but these two had a positive attitude and weren't gonna quit until they fixed my problem! Thank you!

Had Tom and his crew out this morning for the first time, and it could not have been a better experience. To start I called the office for an appointment on a day where I had to call four different companies and they were the only ones who actually answered the phone.

We own an older historic home and half of the house was without electricity. For almost ten days when we called Tom Braegar. We had previously called two more corporate companies to come and provide estimates. One company did not want to troubleshoot the problem and stated that we needed a full rewiring of the home providing us with an estimate of $15,000. The other company without taking the time to properly identify the problem quoted us $23,000 for the same thing. For the last and final consultation we called TAB Electric. Tom, who is the owner of the company, without hesitation did a full inspection of the home and did diagnostics on our home. The problem was a short in the wiring that was connected to a ceiling fan. Of course there were other updates and recommendations made, which we were happy to schedule. With that said, TAB Electric is a seasoned professional family owned company that not only will fix your electrical issues, but will do it at a fair price without trying to oversell you or upcharge you like the other local Phoenix chains. Tom and his professional colleagues are the way to go for all of your electric needs and he will not disappoint! And they are also licensed, bonded and insured and took credit card with no problems.

I've had TAB Electric come out a few times in the last 3 months. They've done the following work for me (1) Hung two large light fixtures; one was a big 35 lbs in my front hallway and another in my dining room. (2) Installed dimmers for these two fixtures. (3) Installed an outdoor ceiling fan. (4) Replaced all of my indoor smoke detectors as they were past the 10 year mark and needed to be changed.
They've done exceptional work and the price is very reasonable. TAB has great customer service. They really care that their customers are happy, they are flexible with scheduling and they guarantee all of their work.

Our breaker box had been tampered overnight turning off our refrigerator and microwave/oven. I was able to get the refrigerator breaker reset but the microwave wouldn't come back on. Tom and his crew responded quickly (within the hour) to my request that morning and stopped by later that afternoon. Totally remedied the situation!! Started out promising, came out and gave estimate on a complete home rewire for a remodel. Starting having problems when techs would not communicate with each other and put boxes at two different heights. Drilled through a support beam- which had to get repaired, as that is not to code. Their workers would leave early or not show up due to personal issues that I didn't need to hear about and was really just negative bs that added to my frustration. Then they were (at no fault of their own) called off the job for a few months due to framing issues. When I called them to return (several times) they told me their workers would not complete their job-even though we were current on our progress payments and had a contract. I had to pay my engineer to correct the beam at a substantial cost out of pocket and had paid them for their time to correct their previous issues. It is very difficult to get a second electrician to complete someone else's work, and it was unprofessional to take the job, take my money and then not complete the job. I understand that jobs halt sometimes and that this is difficult for employers to get work for their people elsewhere when they are called off a job...but having Tab refusing to come back and complete their contracted work made my remodel delayed longer than it already was and caused a bad situation in my life to get worse than it already was. I think Tom is a decent humam being, but that doesnt help me with my electrical needs.

Found the company here looking for an electrician for some work I wanted to get done at the house.

The team showed up on time, early in fact. Completed the job in pretty much exactly the amount of time they said it would take and charged exactly what I was quoted. Overall I would say great service.

It is also worth mentioning that the team had to travel a good distance for this job. I am in the east valley and I believe most of their work is in north Phoenix. For people in the east valley, I had a good experience. They do what they say, show up when they say they are going to be there and did not change the price at all.

Tom came out Himself The day I called because his employees were all busy. He was just great, I couldn't ask for a nicer person to work with and he really knew what he was doing. He replaced a light at my daughters house and in fact went to Home Depot because I was stuck there with sleeping grandkids. Called Tab electric to replace and rewire my outdoor landscape lighting and replace 18 cams in my entertainment center. Jason came out and gave me a free consultation and written estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave me some suggestions and options. I needed the work done quickly as I was having some other work done and wanted this project completed first. Tom the owner sent Jason out quickly with another technician. They installed 18 led fixtures in my entertainment center which look beautiful and have the ability to change the color and range of light. They also installed led lights to replace the halogen landscape lights I had and rewired everything. They trenched the wires and fixed the stones around the whole area, looked like they were never there. The lights are low wattage which will be much more efficient , while they are much brighter than before. Jason was knowledgeable, professional and cleaned up everything after themselves. Very satisfied and Eli use their services again.

I'm not certain I can even find adequate words to describe how grateful I am for Tom and his crew. I've experienced exceptional service in the past- but Tom's commitment, compassion, consist communication, and conscientious dedication goes so far beyond that. He is incredibly genuine and honest-and it's very obvious that correcting the electrical issue at hand is personal for him and his employees follow that same philosophy with his leadership. My breaker box shorted out in one of the rainstorms on Oct 6th and on Oct 8th Tom was called out to my townhouse to investigate what happened and what needed to happen now to restore power. Tom communicated with me through every part of this process; he considered how every option might effect me and my living in my home during the process of replacing my electrical panel (which involves SRP and city inspectors); Tom even took into consideration my dogs in this process AND took care of the dogs while he was here working and I was at work. The details of this project are long so I won't try to include them all but I will say this: from the first time I spoke with Tom on the phone I KNEW my home, my dogs, and the restoration of power to my home was in very capable hands and did not at all worry from that point forward. When you can go for days without power and truly not worry about it because you know it's being taken care of safely and incredibly efficiency placing the mine and my dogs needs in the highest priority--to me that says everything about the man and the business you are working with. Words truly cannot sufficiently honor the exceptional above and beyond service Tom (the owner) provides nor can words describe the quality of intense detail he puts into his work and catering to his customers unspoken needs. Yesterday all my power was restored, including in areas that did not work prior to the breaker box shorting out; and even with my entire home lit up and me happy as a clam-Tom asked about my front porch light that he noticed doesn't work--all I can say is this has been hands down the most secure and comfortable experience I've ever had with a company and I would go a month without power before I'd have any other electrician anywhere near my home. Thank Tom! Thank you to Tom's team (and please forgive me for not remembering everyone's name). You all pulled out all stops today for the final set up and testing of all electrical areas of my home and getting my new breakers labeled--and let the dogs help!!

My Range's oven stoped working, but the stove top still worked properly. I had a repairman inspect the Range. He stated that the Range had no issues. But there was something wrong with the ground wiring to the outlet. So I called TAB electric and set up an appoitment. They arrived 10 minutes early to my pleasant surprise. Kevin and Corey were the technicians providing service. They did some tests and within a few minutes they confirmed there was an issue with the grounding. They found a junction box inside the cabinet and found/repaired the bad splice that was not done properly. This did not get the Range to work. They told me there may be another splice in the attice. So Corey happily went up into the attic. He found a junction box, but that was not it. He searched for 10 more minutes but with no JB found. I had about gave up hope, after anothe 10 minutes he calls for Kevin. Low and behold he found the JB they were needing. Corey corrected the splice that was done incorrectly and got it up to code. They pluged in the Range and viola the panel lights come on and they test the stove and oven and all properly function. kevin showed me part of the burnt out original splice in the attic.

They informed me that 2 splices are not ideal, and are up to code but not recommended for safety reasons and should be replaced with a single line run. And on top of the not so well install of the current wires they are not confident in the safety of my home with the current wiring.

They suggest to me to do the whole home run of wiring sooner than later due to how what they repaired could have easily caused a fire. I appreciate the fact that they told me to please get it fixed in a timely matter even if it is not with TAB electric, they just want me and my family to be safe!!! Gotta respect that on top of them doing an excellent job in diagnosing and correct the problem with wiring.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Kevin at TAB. I was having an electric issue with several outlets at a rental property, Kevin was able to identify the issue and rectify the problem within an hour. We had a GFI that was not grounded and thus was causing another outlet nearby to trip. He also traced back another outlet that was not working, it was located in the garage of the unit and was tied to a GFI outlet in an upstairs bathroom, I would have never guessed that. He arrived on time, was very courteous to our tenant and was able to clearly explain and fix the problem. TAB definitely lived up to the 5-star reviews and was very reasonably priced. I even had him throw in an extra GFI in the kitchen while he was out because the price was right. Thanks, TAB! We had some electric issues with our laundry room lights, upstairs hall lights, and wanted to change the kitchen lights since we were going to have work done. The guys at Tab Electric were excellent, specifically Eric. He came in and sized up the situation and what needed to be done very quickly, and then he and his team got right to work. Eric coordinated his team well. They completed everything in about 3 hours, and did a great job. Troubleshooting the hall lights issue was quick, and they replaced the fluorescent lights with beautiful recessed lighting in both the kitchen and the laundry room, and even added a dimmer switch. The work was done knowledgeably, quickly, and efficiently. And the cost was a lot cheaper than we expected. We are super satisfied with the results and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Chirp. Chirp Chirp. The chirp isn't a bad sound when it follows a good night's sleep, heralds the light of a new day, and comes from the beak of a baby bird. But amplify the volume 100-fold, set it to go off at night, and make sure it's emitting from five simultaneous smoke detectors without a wisp of smoke in sight and you have the OTHER kind of chirp. The CHIRP!-CHIRP!-CHIRP! kind of chirp. The kind of chirp that a new battery won't fix. The kind of chirp that comes from having 18-year-old smoke detectors: by the age of 18, those smoke detectors are ready to party...at night when you're trying to sleep. The kind of chirp that mocks you when you discover the same brand of smoke detector has changed its electrical connections in the intervening decades. That's right: you need an electrician, it's Saturday evening, and you'll just have to hope you can keep your sanity until Monday morning, right?

Wrong! It just might be possible that Tom of TAB Electric will save the day. He did for us. Indeed, he and his son listened to my frantic voice message and decided to help someone in need. They gave up their Saturday night and raced to my house. They then raced each faulty smoke detector to their vehicle where the residual-power chirps would bother exactly no one; they wired the connections for each new smoke detector right then and there. A final test of the completed work was administered, my house was safe and sound (and silent!) once again.

Pro-Tip: Change your smoke detectors every ten years. ULTIMATE PRO-TIP: Call Tom at TAB Electric to make sure the job is done right. Like other reviewers state, Tom provides excellent service, fair pricing, and, to top it off, he's a genuinely nice guy. If you have a problem like mine, he'll make sure that the only unnecessary chirp you'll hear for a good long while happens after you've chosen to fill a nearby bird feeder. Thanks, Tom!

I'm house hunting and the electrical service panel at my prospect gave me some concern so I decided to have a professional look it over before making an offer on the property. I checked Yelp for somebody in my part of town and saw that all 26 reviews for TAB Electric were five star, many recent, and went no further. Tom, the owner of the company, is mentioned personally in many of the reviews. I called. Tom answered the phone, which is a plus right there. I explained what was happening and he agreed to meet me at the property on his way back from Scottsdale this afternoon.

He inspected the service panel and (as I expected) advised that it would need replacement to make room for additional circuit breakers that I would need if I was going to buy the property. He gave me a rough estimate which was less than I expected.

We then discussed additional electrical work and he provided cost effective recommendations. As he was getting ready to leave he noticed the access panel in the carport ceiling and volunteered to go up there and see if there were any electrical issues. He found a few junction boxes that needed covers, nothing major.

I was very impressed with this first meeting and even if I don't get this particular house, Tom will be my go-to guy for electrical work in the future.

Tom did perfect work on a very complicated job - we went from overhead power to underground service, upgraded, and relocated our panel. I had 2 other electricians tell me they wouldn't even touch it. Another said they would do it but wanted 50% more than Tom quoted. These guys are true professionals and reasonably priced. They're a small enough operation that Tom knew me and the details of my project every time I called to check in. TAB Electric was awesome!

We recently needed a special outlet with GFCI installed in our backyard for a jacuzzi. Tom, the owner, came out to give me an estimate a day after I called, emailed me a quick estimate on the project, along with a few smaller issues I wanted him to check. The cost was well within our budget (unlike the insane estimates from other electric companies I called). Once I approved the estimate, the job was scheduled the same week. The two-man crew came out and the work was completed within a couple hours (much quicker than the 6-8 hours other electric companies estimated). The new outlet, piping and breaker is barely visible. Our jacuzzi has been installed and is working great! I am so glad we went with Tab Electric and plan on using them for more projects in the future.

I reached out to TAB electric on yelp to request for a quote and in less than 24hrs Tom responded back to me. The prices he told me was very reasonable. My search for a new electrician (my electrician for 25 years suddenly wasn't there any more) ended quickly when I called TAB...owner Tom jumped on my need (cooking for my daughters family with new baby due any minute, kitchen lights went out). I had two excellent electricians here within 2 hours! Within an hour they had diagnosed the problem and picked up the specialty switch I needed and installed it....they didn't even stop me from cooking! Very service minded company. Tom responded promptly to our inquiry and scheduled Kevin to come to our home to make several miscellaneous repairs. Kevin was terrific. He went through our list of electrical issues and told us what repairs did and did not need to be done- for example he was able to make a minor adjustment to a bath ceiling fan to quiet it thereby eliminating the need to replace it. He came up with common sense repair/modification suggestions. For example, he rewired an outlet to make half of it switched and installed a wall switch thereby solving a lighting issue for us. We would definitely call this company again for future electrical repairs.

I was referred to TAB Electric by a friend...Tom came out and reviewed what I needed and gave me a very fair price...In addition he and his team did some repairs that were done by most likely an unlicensed electrician that could have caused serious problems down the road...I can't say enough about this company...If you need ANY electrical work done, you have to have TAB Electric come by and give you a bid...They're fair and prompt and very reliable...I finally have an electrical company I can trust.

Had this company install 9 commercial light bulbs for a client and they over charged. The bulbs were $28 yet they charged me a additional $40 per bulb to twist them in. I do not recommend dealing with these people. They have poor communication and talk to their customers with horrible techniques.

Excellent company, professional, courteous and prompt. I had an issue with a circuit breaker continually popping. Tom the owner answered my request in 10 min and he came out within an hour of my request. He was able to trouble shoot the problem, solve the problem and was fantastic. I would use them for any electrical need you might have.

I called TAB Electric because our tenants had a problem with a GFI that kept kicking off. We didn't know if it was the GFI or another problem. Tom was easy to reach and quick to schedule, did a fine job (it was the GFI only, thank goodness) and was, of the 5 estimates I got before deciding who to hire, the most cost-effective. We will definitely use him again if (okay, WHEN) we need an electrician. Thanks, Tom!

I'm happy I was able to find TAB electric on yelp. I got 3 quotes from companies on yelp that all had 5 star ratings. When I called TAB electric, Tom answered the phone promptly and we discussed what I'd like to get done. He seemed like a knowledgeable guy and gave me a rough estimate over the phone and I later texted some pics to show what needed done. The other 2 companies I called also sounded great too and I think they're would've done quality work as well. One of the companies I had to leave a message and wait for a call back later in the day. I chose TAB electric because his price was better than the other 2 companies- much better. When I read reviews I hear the term fair price all too often. I'm sure most companies can do great work for fair prices. With TAB electric, you will get great work for GREAT prices. Even if you decide not to use this company I'd at least give him a call to see what he would charge to make sure you're not getting ripped off by a competitor. Tom and his crew of Seth and Kevin were all very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job at our house with the electrical work and we were very pleased. Tom made sure I was 100% satisfied with the work and earned my trust for future jobs.

We found TAB via Yelp thanks to their excellent reviews. I asked Tom to come out to review our kitchen wiring to ensure it had enough power to supply two new appliances, and also get a quote and ideas on kitchen downlighting. He was genuine, honest and frankly told me our wiring was absolutely fine for what we wanted to install - he won me over right there. We then talked downlighting, he gave me some ideas but said he'd like to have his guys come to put a design together. Fast forward a few days and we had a team of 5 of Toms guys arrive on time to install 7 new down lights, remove 2 old light fittings, and install a new socket. The entire team were friendly and honest, and the quality of their work and advice was fantastic. Within 3 hours of the guys arriving, all jobs were complete with all dust and debris tidied, leaving a thoroughly professional job behind them. I would not hesitate to use TAB again and recommend them to friends.

Great experience from start to end. Made 1st inquiry a few weeks ago just to discuss scope of work needed, and Tom stopped by to take a look that day (I would have been satisfied with a phone & email discussion before putting him to the trouble of traipsing over). Spent all the time necessary and then some. Got the estimate and signed off on it. Kevin & Seth arrived 30 minutes BEFORE scheduled work time, were both affable, helpful, super-efficient, and thoughtful. Pretty good cake. Then came the even better, and unexpected, icing: I was preparing to write the check for the estimate I had approved but was handed a revised bill that was nearly 25% LOWER! Tom had apparently miscalculated a big portion of the 1st estimate, something I hadn't noticed; rather than waiting to see if I picked up on it (I didn't), he just fixed it. Wow--we'll take that unusual degree of honesty & integrity any day of the week! And we will, because we're bringing TAB Electric back for an interior project soon.

I have to say that I am blown away by the amazing service! Thomas Braeger, the owner of TAB Electric came out to my home immediately. We had a faulty connection in our master bath outlet which smelled of eletrical burning. He said we were lucky a fire hadn't started and he fixed the connection--FREE of charge! When does that ever happen??? It's usually the opposite case of being overcharged. But, Tom was just a concerned professional with a lot of compassion. I still can't get over it. Businesses need to make money to survive, so not charging people for product and services is probably not a good business model, but I hope by sharing my experience with him and his company, that a favor is returned in more business to him. What person doesn't want a professional who truly cares about the customer? He just wanted to make our home safe for our family. He is a gem! When I have my next electrical project need, he is my go-to! And I'm going to tell all of my friends.
