Handyman, Deck Repairs/builds, Drywall, and Electrical!

HISTORY

Was raised in a household where my father was a union Electrician so I was around the trades growing up. After purchasing my first home in 1980 I became the D.I.Y.'er of the family. Doing the repairs on my own home, my Mom's rentals, both my sisters homes, my in-laws rentals, and helping build a cabin in Munds Park, AZ and a custom house in Gilbert, AZ it seems as though I've been swinging a hammer, floating a drywall knife, or upgrading electrical fixtures most of my life. After leaving my computer career as an RF/Wireless Techician/Installer in 2005 it was time to branch out on my own so starting the handyman business came naturally. Today we have a very long list of repair, installation & upgrade jobs completed across the Phoenix Metro area, and now in the Rim Country of Payson, AZ area as well.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio until I was 16. Then my parents decided we needed to be in Phoenix, Arizona. (Never have understood that!)

Finished High School, joined the U.S.Navy (served in Holy Loch, Scotland), got married and had 5 awesome children (and now 20 grandkids).

Enrolled in Rio Salado College in 2013 to study Web Design, E-Commerce and SEO.

Now live in the mountains of Arizona and loving it!

On-the-side I do Voice Over work for TV, radio, internet, and documentaries.

In my spare time I enjoy hunting, woodworking, and horseback riding with my honey. And enjoy repairing, installing, and upgrading customers homes!!

Terry and his crew did a complete deck rebuild for us did good job stayed in budget help me re-designed it a little bit and kept area clean. They were professional and they got it done in a good amount of time. I meant to put this review in sooner but we've been busy so again thank you Terry and company for rebuilding my deck

Showed up and gave a verbal quote for our work, but (after a month) never followed up with a written quote or any type of contact. Did not reply to numerous calls, texts, and emails after the initial meeting.

I really wish that I could give this business a good review. When Terry came to my house to give me an estimate he was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. After showing him the many projects I had in my new house he said he was very busy and was scheduling 2 weeks out. I was told I would have an estimate by the next week. The cost for an estimate was $75, and I was told that if I chose to proceed that cost would be credited to my bill. After multiple requests for my estimate over the next couple of weeks and being told various time frames for receiving it, I finally gave up. It is now 6 weeks later and the only thing that has been done is the cashing of my check-that was done by the next day.

Update to review, I did receive a refund for my $75.

Terry and his team are the best! We needed some help with a cabin we bought and Terry was definitely the right person to call. They put up drywall, fixed the drywall, mudded, sanded, painted, and installed a window for us. Terry was great communicating with us during the projects, taking pictures of the progress and the results. He also gave us some great tips for other things to make sure we do to the cabin. Terry is professional, honest and a pleasure to work with. We could not have done all this without you guys. So THANK YOU!!! We are customers for life.

Terry does great work. He has installed skylights and a French door for us and we are very happy with his work. He is very personable and has a good sense of humor which makes having him in your home enjoyable. Since he is good at what he does he does get booked up so you need to schedule him a couple weeks in advance but he is worth the wait.
