We were looking for a reliable local electrician and we are so glad to have found Rick! He is reliable, honest and very knowledgeable. He came by initially to give us an estimate and then was able to work around our schedules for the project. We would definitely trust him for all of our future projects as well.

This time we had him put in our new electric car charger, and wire a new fan light into the master bedroom. If you're looking for a trustworthy local electrician, Rick is definitely your guy!

We've had Rick out to the house a couple of times.  Rick and his son, Ricky, are professional, experienced, thoughtful electricians.  Hey... remodeling work is challenging at times... more so because the homeowner and their pets and children actually LIVE in the home.  But Rick and Ricky know how to solve an electrical challenge while taking precautions to minimize drywall destruction and the harmful dust associated with opening walls and ceilings.  Anyone whose had real electrical remodeling work done to their house knows an electrician who can keep damage to the drywall, etc., to a minimum is worth their weight in gold.

WORK: Rick has installed a number of new receptacles to existing circuits, helped us to bring power to wall-mounted TV and other devices, replaced switches with dimmers, and helped us to work through and correct preexisting electrical challenges in our home.  He is very realistic about remodeling work - and know he is going to be working to complete or extend work that other electricians began.  It's all part of the job with Rick.

BEST OF ALL:  Wherever possible, Rick takes care to plan out the work in a way to avoid damaging interior walls and ceilings.  This type of thoughtfulness has saved us hundreds of dollars in unnecessary drywall and paint repairs - not to mention the dust.  

WORK ETHIC: Rick arrived on-time, walked through the work, explained his approach before he made any changes, answered questions, made thoughtful suggestions, finished all the work he quoted, cleaned up the job site, and charged an extremely fair price.   Even better, he maintained an energetic and positive attitude throughout the entire time.  

INVOICING:  Is a breeze.  Rick always sends an itemized bill via email the evening after his completes a job - and you can pay ONLINE by credit card or directly from your account.

IN SHORT:  Rick's Advanced Electric is an honest, professional and experienced electrician that I can confidently recommend.  He always returns our calls.  We always call Rick whenever we need electric work.

UPDATE:  We've had Rick and Ricky (his son) out to the house for multiple projects now.  Some time ago, Rick convinced me to we would save money and time if we worked with him on an hourly basis, so we tried it.   In just under 2 hours, he had added (4) new 15A receptacles on existing circuits, corrected an old 20A GFI outlet, and added a new 20A receptacle in our garage.  What a savings over the per item charges most electrical contractors quote!!

Rick and his crew did a great job! He helped me out with deciding the best placement and type of recessed lighting to use and was very attentive to the details of what I wanted done. I had another company give me a quote, and they had left off several things I requested. Rick also had no problems making some minor tweaks and changes to the project as we went. My wife and I are both very happy with the work that was done: 14 recessed lights, 1 ceiling fan, and 2 bathroom exhaust fans.

Rock and his son are phenomenal, they took care of a huge electrical problem for me. The are honest, fair in pricing and incredibly kind, especially when you are dealing with an electrical crisis!  They are punctual and can solve any problems with suggestions and very accurate cost estimates.  I would recommend these guys to my oldest and dearest friends.  They are great!

Rick and his team saved me from taking another day of work they were able to come the same day I called to install three canned lights and many zwave switches.  They came on time , kept up great communication , cleaned up after doing work and gave great advice on how to hook up additional zwave switches and canned lights. I will definitely use them again for my electrical needs !!

NOT A GOOD REVIEW - Rick was recommended by another contractor, he quoted me to do some work, showed up with his nice truck and then MILKED ME FOR 8 HOURS work when it should of taken half that time!  I PAID him on the spot nearly 3 TIMES HIGHER then he quoted me, took his receipts and when I got home to total them they were 30% of what he said they were....Then he said he had to charge me a 20% upcharge to pick up material that essentially was in his truck!  I paid for his time and the 20% upcharge to get things from his truck (also for his coffee and Gatorade on another receipt from Home depot).  THEN, he did not even finish the job, supposed to come back and never did!  I also discovered I had a LIVE WIRE HE INSTALLED in our attic that was dangling and not even in a box!  I tried for 3 weeks to get a reply and did not, I told him I was reporting to the ROC and still nothing!  I will file this soon.  Seemed like a very reputable man but turned out to not be who he said he was.  I will do everything to make sure others know about this service.  You can not run a business like this and should not be allowed to operate in this manner.   Again, I PAID HIM IN FULL for the bill he presented to me which was THREE TIMES HIGHER then the quote, he left LIVE WIRES dangling, didn't come back to finish, would not answer my questions, TERRIBLE!  I have since found 2 other individuals with a bad experiences (thru the same referral that does not refer him any longer).   BEWARE!  Do NOT agree to any hourly rate but get a fixed cost from him if you choose to run the risk......

It is very rare to find a fair price coupled with honest, highly qualified work while being treated with respect.
This father and son team is exceptional. These men are very knowledgeable, down to earth and very pleasant.

I hired Rick to install 3 light fixtures. The job was completed quickly and done right. All my questions were answered with candor and respect. They even moved the furniture back and vacuumed the area at the end! Outstanding.

Rick and his team have consistently done a great job in my home. They completed a lot of new wiring for me during a recent home remodel and did an incredible job. During that same remodel, I found myself in a time crunch and needed some work done rather quickly to keep the project on schedule. After leaving Rick a message on a Friday night, he called me back promptly that evening, and then came out to get the work done for me Saturday morning.

Rick was recommended by a friend that has used him multiple times. He ran new lines for a kitchen remodel and installed recessed lights throughout our home. I am a first time home owner and I was frantic because my electricity went out. I was terrified something was wrong that would burn my house down. I looked on google and Yelp to find the highest rated electrician. I called Rick due to his reviews online. He came out same day and had my electric back on. I need an entirely new panel which is a little expensive and didn't have the money to do that at the time. Rick did a temporary fix to hold me over until I can afford the new panel. 5 months later, I have another issue, unrelated to the panel that I called Rick for. He again came same day and made the repairs. I am terrified of anything to do with electricity causing a fire and Rick made certain I was not in any danger. My family and I will use him for any electrical jobs we have. He is honest and trustworthy. He explains things in a way that makes sense. His work ethic is amazing and I am so thankful for everything he has done. I highly recommend Rick's Advanced Electric.

I've had Rick's out to my house for a couple of different jobs and am very happy with the level of professionalism the team offers. The last time I had the company do something, I needed an overhead light repaired. As it turns out, it would cost about the same to replace the fixture with a more modern and efficient one as it would to repair the older one. I was given the choice on what to do. I went with replacing the fixture. Within a half hour of me making the decision, Rick's had the new one in my house and working great. They swept up after they got done, leaving my kitchen lit and tidy. I'd call them again in a pinch if I need more electrical work done.

Called to try and schedule an appointment but no one ever called back, ended up called THC Electric and Tev c Ame straight over and fixed my issue quickly and for a great price.

Rick and his son are amazing electricians! I had them install over 20 light fixtures in a remodel, and trouble shoot all of my electrical issues in the house. They were fast, excellent, knowledgable, and reasonably priced. My wife felt comfortable in the home alone with them, and we felt comfortable leaving the house with them there alone. Rick is a perfectionist! Everything looks perfect! Would recommend to anyone, and I will never use another electrician again.

As many of you, I try to find the best electricians by searching Yelp or Google. So I narrowed this task down to 5. I was having issues with what I thought was circuit overload, but ended up to be a GFI problem which pretty much solved everything. The number 1 spot returned my call and gave me a quote over the phone, and I must say, it was very competitive. The 2nd spot stopped by that day for a look and quote, and it appeared that his interest was only servicing 4 circuits at a huge expense. Another gave me great advice over the phone while another did not return the call. Rick's was among the mix and understood my problem from the get go after he arrived. This man and his helper. Justin, did nothing less than exemplary work. These two arrived before the appointment time and did not waste any time doing and exploring and fixing.. The night before Rick's appointment, quite honestly, I was sweating this out to be a nightmare issue as I got quotes over $1000. We went through the entire house, almost, and even the garage. In less than an hour, the major problem was solved and eliminated some of the other issues. I cannot tell you how delightful I am. These guys are as honest as it comes, and I would be absolutely foolish to go anywhere else. Call Rick, make an appointment, and save money, time, and headaches.
