Ion Electric delivered on low price, high quality, and professionalism.  He did all the work to obtain a building permit from the city and the inspection, and did not charge extra for the service.  

Also, he would rather run the conduit that will be more hidden from view than an easy direct route.

I recently used this company for just a few LED canned lights for my kitchen.  I went online and they had their prices right on their website!  I liked that I could just set up an appointment and I bought the lighting package of 4 can lights for $550.  The scheduled this about a week out and had it all done same day.  Very professional and clean.  I really like that the prices were online and they came through.  I am going to replace a few ceiling fans in the next few months and will use them for that as well since their prices are great for that as well....and online too.

Excellent! Extremely timely response. Great service. Super knowledgeable and thorough. Robert, the owner got back to me I'm less than 10 minutes, I described my problem (a tripped breaker that I couldn't reset), he gave me a quote, we spoke on the phone and he was at my place within an hour! Not only a very thorough and competent electrician (he checked every outlet in my house!!) but a good person and an honest business person. Don't hesitate to call this company for ANY size job. They're commercial contractors too.

I had to call an electrician, after we'd purchased a new dryer, b/c our old one just quit working. It wouldn't even turn on. So we go out and spend $600 on a dryer, had it delivered. Plugged it in and IT wouldn't turn on. Obviously the dryer wasn't the problem. But my wife was smiling, she has a new dryer!

I called other electricians, but many couldn't even come out for 2 weeks. Others gave me bids, to run a 220 Outlet thru conduit, over the top of my house (Flat Roof w/no Attic) and into the breaker box.

That's where Clarence comes in. I'd received C. Read and Sons number from a local neighborhood app we use. They came highly recommended. So I gave them a call and scheduled an appointment.

Clarence showed up 2 days after contacting him. Jackie set up our appointments and he was right on time. He goes right to the Breaker box and flips the Breaker, instant trip! He comes and checks the 220 outlet. It's dead too. He switches the dryer onto another breaker and it didn't trip. He confirmed the Breaker was bad!

Now, I've lived many years and honestly, have never seen a Breaker actually go bad. So Clarence replaces the Breaker, turns on power and the outlet itself, was still dead. In that same amount of years I've lived, I've never actually seen, a 220 outlet go bad either. Especially after working, without a problem for 25 years.

With that said, what are the chances that BOTH of them go bad, at the exact same time? Especially after working uninterrupted for 25 years?

I HIGHLY recommend Clarence and will definitely use him again! He actually did troubleshooting to isolate the problem, instead of just giving me a price for the most expensive option! I had a very pleasant experience w/C. Read & Sons, from the initial phone calls to the service itself. If you need any Electrician? Call them, you won't regret it!

Knowing I just purchased an older home in Sun City, I feel they tried to take advantage of the situation. They would not even come to my house unless I paid them $140 to show up. They wanted to rewire the entire house before they had even looked at anything. Additionally they wanted to charge $180 to remove and replace a simple bathroom fan. Luckily I found an ethical electrician that discussed options, understanding the age of the house and how it was wired. He didn't need to charge $140 just to show up, nor did he charge $180 to switch out the bathroom fan.

Romel was quick to respond and able to come to my house the next day.  He was very pleasant and professional.  He identified the problem very quickly and was done within 20-30 minutes.  I will definitely contact him in the future if I need any electrical work done.

Wow, HORRIBLE first impression. I had a small electrical fire at 430am on Thanksgiving day today. I called this company at 1pm to see if they did complete residential rewiring to get someone out tomorrow so I can get the process started so another fire wouldn't happen. When the man answered I said, Happy Holidays and I apologize for interrupting his Holiday. I informed him that I  had a small electrical fire this morning and if they do complete residential electrical overhauls. He said whats that? I said a complete rewire update of the entire house as I know some companies dont offer this service. He was abrasive and said, Hey its a Holiday and not a emergency, call during regular office hours. and hung up the phone. I am shocked as I would think a fire is a emergency even if small. Glad I saw the character of this company before they came out. Shame on you for being so rude to someone and making them feel your time is to valuable to take 5 minutes in a difficult situation that potentially could of been catastrophic. There was no reason to be harsh and rude especially for a business who operates 24/7 for this specific incident.

Amazing Service! John and his team are great, fast, clean and knowledgeable. We had some recess lighting changed out, new outlets and dimmers put in and it was such a great experience. Highly recommend!

I had Larry and Jason come to my office to do some electrical work for me. They showed up on time and were very professional. They did a great job, I would definitely recommend this company.

Soooo RUDE!
Not only is the voicemail SOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL but the owner Mike was nothing short of a jerk.
He got mad when I declined his quote and continuously messages me until I blocked him.
Why would I pay for a $55 Hrly rate plus whatever materials you are going to buy when The entire job was quoted for $60 from another Yelp business?
He got mad and texts me you get what you pay for well Not with Mike you don't. You pay twice the amount and get the same as if you'd used another reputable Yelp business.

Do yourself a favor, steer clear from this man. I finally blocked his number so he'd leave me alone.

And for anyone interested I will update review once repair is done by other Yelp company and post all their info so others can use them instead of mad Mike here.

This team was great, they installed an in-ground electrical line for a hot tub in my back yard. They gave me a remote quote from a few pictures and a description and then walked me through each part of the project so I had a good understanding. They were extremely knowledgeable and I feel confident in their work. They came when they said they would and did a great job, I would recommend them to any friend.

They showed up in masks and were able to fit me in within an hour of reaching out to them. They fixed all my issues quick and efficiently and were very nice and professional. I will definitely be using them for any additional electrical needs in the future.

I originally hired Greg to install two ceiling fans with light kits for two of my bedrooms, he was so professional and  great personality. So I hired him again to install a light for my dining room and light kit along with a new receiver for my master bedroom. Excellent Job! Thanks JM
