So, this review is strictly for them coming out assessing the work and providing a quotation.

They were on time, professional and very courteous. I explained to them my thoughts and ideas for adding additional lines in the bedrooms to support two switches (for the light and fan).

Easy peasy!

I cannot account for the cost as they are the only quote at this time however, with what I saw I'm willing to pay for their work because you get what you pay for.

They were awesome. I received the quote 15 minutes after they left!

As a Houston property manager I am responsible for a commercial strip center which recently required an upgrade in exterior lighting. I spend a lot of time speaking with many different types of vendors to coordinate maintenance. *** The kind of service Paul provided in ONE DAY is consistent with a vendor relationship that typically takes years to cultivate. *** I called Paul, he picked up the phone himself (wow), and told me he was going to be in the area in the next 3 hours. This is VIP service!! Paul then had a formal estimate to me that same business day and advised he could warranty the job for 3 years!

Called first thing in the morning and had a tech within 2 hours. Cody was very informative and explained everything to me even though I really had no clue what he was talking about...LOL. Needless to say I am very pleased with the overall service provided by Mr. Electric and will for sure use them again when and if the need arises. Thank you.

Best experience I've ever had with an electrical repair company!  It's that time of year when you string Christmas lights in ways that you shouldn't! I didn't tape the final exposed ends and when the sprinkler system came on, it shorted the outside GFCI outlet. I spoke to the owner, Robert, who sent over Eric with his apprentice, Markece, the very same day.  Both gentlemen were very nice and professional.  They checked out the issue and replaced the GFCI outlet.  Lights are now back on!  The price was very reasonable and was half of what another company quoted.   I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again!

An electrical power outlet near my fuse panel failed, so I requested quotes on Yelp from nearby electricians.  Ace Electrical had good reviews and offered one of the lower quotes, so we went with them. The electrician arrived on-time and did a great job. I would recommend this company for anyone wanting quality services at a good price.

During Hurricane Harvey my power went out, and when it came back on a number of my circuits had tripped. I was able to get most of them to reset either with the GFCI or at the panel itself; however the breaker for my gas dryer would not reset.

After consulting the Better Business Bureau website for electricians in my area I came across Beekman Electric and their A+ rating. I gave them a call, explained my situation and they were able to get someone out to fix my issue the following day.

Last electrician didn't setup my breaker box correctly and still couldn't come out to fix it. Mr. Electric can out, told what was wrong, and fixed it in a day.

Otis and his crew were the only ones out if six local electricians to call me back. They not only were able to get me in the next day, but they arrived ahead of schedule. Otis kept me updated on the price during the process and always thoroughly explained what the issues were. We will 100% call him again and thoroughly recommend him and his crew!

I was having some issues with some electrical outlets & switches.  As a new homeowner with no prior history of hiring an electrician decided to reach out to Grounded to see if they would be able to help fix my electrical issues.  Pete and his partner Nick weren't just on time for my scheduled appointment, they were 15 min. EARLY!  Both were extremely professional and knowledgeable.  They diagnosed my problems rather quickly and remedied the situation just as fast.  However the most impactful thing their service provided to me was not the 5 out of 5 star job they provided to me on this day but for the stress I will no longer have for any future electrical issues because now I know exactly who to call, Grounded!

I got it done by a great electrician for $395.  Beware!!!

I can't say enough good things about Harmony Electric on Yale. I have used them 3 times in the last year and every time they have been great. They are on time, quick, and friendly. The technician explained what was going on and some of it wasn't anything that needed to be fixed. It was an issue with my bulbs. I love that he didn't charge me unnecessary fees for something that wasn't broken. This is my first year as a homeowner so I don't have any idea what reasonable fees are but I can tel you my heart didn't drop when I saw the invoice. Give them a call.

I suppose these guys do decent work, but it's kind of irrelevant because you'll pay through the NOSE for it.  Three years ago they replaced an AC condenser fan with an aftermarket fan.  $640.  The fan recently went out again.  One of their competitors replaced it.  $420.  Should have learned my lesson then...

We also are currently collecting quotes to replace our old R22 system.  We invited four vendors to quote.  We provided a specification for them to quote.  4 ton, single stage, 16 SEER, media filter, with coils and furnace.  We got three quotes in the $6500 to $7,000 range.  Then there was Abacus' quote.  $11,800.  Ugh.  I asked the salesperson to justify why he was so expensive.  He said sure, a small company will be cheaper.  Large companies are more expensive because it costs us more to do business.  Hogwash.  Exactly the opposite is true.  Everyone knows that large companies have competitive advantage through their size and purchasing power.  Then there was the we don't use subcontractors sales pitch.  Why do I care if subcontractors are used so long as work is done to code?  The salesperson kept trying to sell this quality premium to justify his price.  Now, I do understand that.  I own a business and I am a premium service provider and I charge extra for it.  I am more expensive than my competitors.  But I'm not almost double the price, for crying out loud!  You may be able to justify a 10-15% brand equity premium, but not 70%.  This is a HVAC contractor!  Not Gucci or Prada!  We won't be buying from Abacus ever again.
