The team at Veteran Electric was timely in their estimate, worked with us on the appointment time and performed the services as requested and at the estimated cost. All around a great company and great people. I would highly recommend.

I wish I could say how many ways Paul and his team went above and beyond for our family. Our home was flooded during Harvey and destroyed a second time by our general contractor with really shoddy work. The electrical was horrific and unsafe. At 36 weeks pregnant, we were to move back in and found the electrical work that had been completed was so terrible and we needed to have it fixed and move on to new subcontractors. Paul took the time to review pictures I sent him and had his team start immediately... They were working for nearly 5 weeks from 8 AM to 5 PM. They were on time every day and if they had to go to another emergency job they would communicate that with me immediately. They gave us good recommendations and did not try to swindle us, although they could have because we were at their mercy. Extremely reliable and honest, and that goes for everyone on their staff. The guys would even offer to let my dogs out if I was not home or bring me lunch, and on a particularly bad day... helped us look for the dogs after they escaped. Can't say enough good things about this company, and I've got beautiful lighting and wiring to prove it! Thank you Paul, Jonathan and Pinkies!!!!

Awesome folks working at Mr. Electric.  They stay in contact with you regarding arrival.  They are very knowledgeable and extremely courteous.  My service tech David was so friendly I would have felt comfortable asking him to babysit - if I had one.

From my experience you can't go wrong.  I had a short in my den and it took a while to isolate - not his fault, it was a floor outlet.  However, once found, he was able to isolate the circuit and get me back running very quickly.

Give them a chance and you'll be glad you did. Rates are what I would consider industry average so, not going for cheap here but awesome quality of service.

I have to say I was in a bind. Just bought a new home and purchased some electrical appliance that just didn't seem to work. Conquer Electrical came in and immediately knew the issue. He was able to fix it on the spot at a very reasonable price taking into consideration our financial strain. I would certainly call on them again. Friendly, courteous and reasonable just my kind of company.

Love these guys! We found Bakenhus here on Yelp while we lived in Oak Forest and since they were so close it made sense to give them a try. They are always on time, very competitive rates, and are just all around really nice guys. We have been calling on them for 4 years now and have never been disappointed. Even when we moved out here to Richmond they still come all the way out here whenever we need them. We are customers for life!

Ace Electrical Services is First Class! Very Professional and Personable! I used Yelp to send out quotes to 5 different companies and the owner Joel responded within 15 mins.  Keep in mind this was about 9pm on Friday when I was searching for a company to come and wire up a transfer switch to my electrical panel so that I can use my generator to provide back up power to my home.  Joel was not only the quickest to respond, but he was also very reasonably priced.  I let Joel know that I would like to provide the material to save on some cost, he was very helpful and asked that I send him what I was looking to purchase to ensure the equipment would be sufficient for the job.  Joel showed up on time, did a great job installing the transfer switch that ended up looking amazing!!! Like it belonged there! A very professional looking installation.  He walked me through how to hook up my generator to the transfer switch and the proper way to switch the circuits to generator power.  I would highly recommend Ace Electrical Services to anyone!!! Daniel and his team came in and got our electric project knocked out in a very timely manner.  Other than needing to have the main power disconnected for several hours to swap out the main panel, we hardly knew they were here.  Awesome work.  Very professional.

I have used Beekman Electric twice now for conducting an electrical inspection as part of maintaining our foster
home license. These guys are professional, friendly, and very personable. They show up on time, do the work, gave a summary of their findings and even explain what was controlled by each GFCI. The technician even gave me some tips on water pipes that needed to be wrapped to prevent freezing. If I ever have electrical needs, I'm calling this company immediately to resolve my issues!

Based on the reviews, I was pretty hopeful calling this place.  The caulk where the staircase met the raiser was cracked, so I thought it was going to be an easy DIY job.  I ripped out the old caulk cleaned the area and then taped everything with blue tape to get neat lines.  I started caulking didn't like it, so I wiped off the caulk and tried again.   I wasn't satisfied so I realized I needed a professional because there were so many corners and couldn't make it look neat like the professionals do.

I called asking for an estimate and they said all their jobs are $175/hour with a 2 hour minimum plus the cost of materials.  What a rip off!!  Who are they kidding??!!  Those prices are outrageous!  What were they planning to do to my stairs for that price?

I took a break from the DIY caulk project and then came back to it.  Watched some Youtube videos and read some tips on caulking.  Third time is always a charm, let's do this!  It took me 2 hours to do the entire staircase and if I must say so myself, the results are pretty darn awesome!  Final score Tammy 1 and caulk zero.

I am still on the hunt for a good handyman for future projects.

I routinely try to support local area businesses. I gave Mr. Electric a try with an electrical issue and was not disappointed. I experienced a quick response, professional service and competitive pricing. Will use again!

Very satisfied! I was referred from a friend in the neighborhood that used a pro master electric for their whole rewire in their home and they were satisfied. I used a pro master electric to install LED lights around my home that lights up my yard at night and later on used them to change my breaker panel! This is my go to electric company !!!

what a pleasure it is to find a company like Grounded! They are professional, know what they are doing and they are honest!
They had to replace/install a LED ceiling garage light and install an outdoor outlet. They were fast and did the work properly, and neatly.
I have been doing a lot of work in the house and have run into terrible workers so it is a real pleasure doing business with a company like Grounded. It's a breath of niceness and work well done.

Had this company give me a bid on some work. The rep was very personable and knowledgeable and I was ready to do business until the bid was presented. I was shocked at the breakdown ($220 to install a $0.99 single pole switch for example). When I objected I was told to company had set rates and nothing could be done. He was correct; nothing would be done with this company. I would have been way over charged. Beware!

Harmony fixed an outlet that wasn't working for me. They were prompt, worked quickly, and charged a more than fair rate. Highly recommend!

This is one of those times I wish I had looked at the yelp reviews before calling Abacus. Avoid them at all costs as they are scam / ripoff artists. I had used them before and I was satisfied with the work they did if not the price. This Time I needed a light switch replaced, a simple job, I thought, so since there was 2 of them in the same switch cover I thought I would replace both of them. He had an estimate of $235 to replace one, which included the trip to evaluate (usually $150) which I can understand, but for 2 he just doubled the price. $470 to replace 2 light switches. that is a rip-off. I will look elsewhere when I need services.
