I hired Veteran Electric initially to complete a few minor things noted in our inspection report after we bought a new house. It was a little over $1,000 to do the work. They came out and one of the employees was in training. It took them a long time to do everything and the explanations of other issues always seemed to leave us with a huge question mark as to whether it was really an issue or not. One issue that clearly needed to be addressed related to an exterior outlet that mysteriously had a charge to the ground wire. After talking with the electrician, we assumed it was going to be a huge undertaking to identify the issue and fix it. So since we are still under our home warranty, I figured I'd give them a shot. That electrician had the issue identified in fifteen minutes (improperly installed timer switch on the same circuit). There were other open issues that Veteran came back out for and led them on a rabbit chase that never seemed to bring back any positive news. So they gave us a quote to re wire the whole circuit. We got someone else out here and issues identified and resolved. So three stars because I think they are good per the other reviews but we just had a so so experience with them. Plus they seem to be very busy and their response time is not great if you need something quick.

A tile contractor demanded we get an electrician to come fix a loose electrical outlet before installing our kitchen backsplash. After calling seven electricians with either no availability that day or outrageous prices, I found Paul Richard Electric. Paul had an electrician at our place within a couple hours, and our outlet was fixed in under thirty minutes. They even switched it out for a GFCI outlet that was up to code. The electrician didn't have a brand new one but they ended up installing the one they had (which was better than our existing, non-GFCI outlet) at no charge. I will definitely be using this company again.

Prior to the day of upgrade the business was 5 stars.
Upgrade day they moved to a 3 - lack of communication between their employees and contacting Center Point. - CP came to the home at 3 to turn on the lights but Mr E wasn't done yet. So CP left. Mr E supposedly called CP at 5pm to finish the work, and told us CP could be out by 7pm. Long story short, CP never got the call Mr E left the house at 5pm with a family of 8 sitting outside in 100 temps/humidity and mosquitoes- with 2 family members having special medical conditions.  
CP stated they could be out by 7am the following day.- not good!  Now I got involved and called the Mr Electric company and asked for a hotel compensation for the medical kids, they agreed.  1/2 the family stayed the night in a reasonable hotel of $70+ tax (remember Houston) and followed up by emailing the receipt to their recommended email, and I have yet to receive payment. - so I drop to a 3 star.
Now a month later, my electric box is popping breakers.  I reached out via the website as calling is a hassle, but I will tomorrow during business hours.
Mr. Electric could respond to email inquiries via the internet form on their page.
They want to sell their services,  but once you use them they could care less about keeping their customers. I am not happy with their business,  and I have reached out via website, now I have moved on via Facebook.  
This matter has become personal to the fact that their work could lead to a home fire and as of now if the investigation proves the fire was electrical this Mr. Electric in Katy will be sued.
But that is why they get 1.5 stars, I really should give .5

I have to say I was in a bind. Just bought a new home and purchased some electrical appliance that just didn't seem to work. Conquer Electrical came in and immediately knew the issue. He was able to fix it on the spot at a very reasonable price taking into consideration our financial strain. I would certainly call on them again. Friendly, courteous and reasonable just my kind of company.

Geovanny is as good as they come. Had a stubborn faucet that I could not remove. I called City & Beyond Handyman Services and was given excellent customer service. He educated me on how my piping works and gave me tips to prevent blockage. I'll be contacting him first from now on. I'm already thinking of other projects that he can help me with. Great guy! Thanks a lot!!

Every time we've used these guys, they have been great. They are polite, conscientious, clean, hard working, on time (often early), and they do the job like you'd want to do it if you did it yourself. I hope we don't need them again, but if we do, we will not hesitate to call them.

I had them out twice. The first time was to fix a circuit that kept tripping and a follow up to improve future issues. Great service and support plus professionals who know what they are doing.  Great experience and will definitely call them again if any electrical issues arise in the future.

After moving within Houston and losing power for 6+ hours immediately after I moved in, I started looking for a generator.  I spoke to a number of companies; I had about 4 others come out.  When Mr. King came out to give me an estimate, he was straightforward about what he thought I needed (didn't try to oversell), gave me his views on the generator brands, and was very clear about the entire process (including timing delays).  While Brotherly Love's price was just slightly higher than the bigger companies, I went with Brotherly Love because I knew I would be getting an American-made generator and would be working with a family-owned company, both of which matter to me.  When there were some bumps with invoicing, Mr. King handled the matter personally.  Because they were so busy, I did have some trouble at times getting updates on the status of the install of the transfer switch (there was a nation-wide shortage), but eventually we got back on track.  The electrical install team of Tommy and Chance were stellar.  They worked hard, kept the area super clean, and answered all my questions as they went along.  Everyone went above and beyond to make sure my installation went well and that I understood how the system works.  While I don't have any electrical needs (yet), I will be calling Brotherly Love in the future thanks to my positive experience with the generator installation.  I can't recommend them enough.

Wow I'm so impressed! I had an in-home estimate from Mr. Beekman himself (such a kind man) for a new breaker box. It was easy to schedule my appointment afterward with Rebecca the next day.

My technician Larry handled everything from there! I was told it's an all-day job, so I could go back to work. But I coordinated everything at my home with Larry & he was so professional in getting it done. I asked A LOT of questions and he answered them all.

I highly recommend this small company for their efficiency and attention to detail. Also, my estimate was lower than other companies, so I'm happy I could save some cash.

Customs service is very bad
I tried to set up appointments twice but they never call back. They say they will check their schedule and call u back but they never do

I routinely try to support local area businesses. I gave Mr. Electric a try with an electrical issue and was not disappointed. I experienced a quick response, professional service and competitive pricing. Will use again!

Very satisfied! I was referred from a friend in the neighborhood that used a pro master electric for their whole rewire in their home and they were satisfied. I used a pro master electric to install LED lights around my home that lights up my yard at night and later on used them to change my breaker panel! This is my go to electric company !!!

Today I have called Mr Electric 7 times.     Endless recordings and menu he'll over and over .     I left a message where they said you would get a callback.    The call came....again endless recordings.    I own several apartment complexes and am changing from gas to electric.    Need help for water heaters and stoves and requiring.    Huge jobs.     But they obviously could not care less.    They have done very good work several times for me but it is impossible to get help or talk with a live person.    I am now calling where a live person eventually picks up the phone.     Do they even care at all?

They came out on time and fixed a problem I had with the power going out in my island kitchen. Quick fix and no parts were needed. Price for the service call was pretty steep (almost double) compared to typical service calls from other companies in the area.

These people came out to help me with an emergency some years ago when my water heater tank ruptured. They told me there was only one option they could offer me - an expensive tankless. I did not want it, but I felt pressured by the emergency situation.

I found out some time later that they sold me a commercial grade tankless heater that was well beyond what I needed for a private home.

They also came out to give my plumbing an annual inspection, and in the process, one of their technicians broke the hot water valve under one sink. They said nothing about this to me at the time and did not offer to fix it.

I since cancelled all business with them, but they continue to send me mail-in advertisements. I have called them several times over the past months asking them to stop sending these, but they will not.

This is a company with a very aggressive policy that will take advantage of your situation or lack of knowledge to up-sell you and have tests run that are not needed. Do not use them.
