Vince was just great!
Had lost power in one part of the house upstairs right after my new air conditioning was installed. The air conditioning install person spent hours trying to fix it but  was not successful. We reached out to Veteran Electric and within an hour, Vince came by with his apprentice before going into the house, Vince fixed a couple of things in the breaker box and everything working within a few minutes! My husband and I were impressed with his knowledge and recommendations for our home. We will be requesting Veteran Electric service from here on out thanks to Vince!

Professional, on time, delivered customer service. My new go to for commercial electrical needs of my businesses!

I called Mr. Electric West for an estimate on replacing a panel at my house. I ultimately didn't choose to do the work yet, but their representative was extremely professional..diligent about current COVID protocols and was very honest with me while answering my questions. They came out that day, and got me a detailed estimate before leaving. If I choose to complete the work, I will be choosing them for my electric needs.

Our garage door stopped working along with the outside lighting and Yovani was able to diagnose the issue and fix all of our electrical issues with such efficiency and explained everything in a way that was easy for even me, to understand. He was super considerate and sweet and nothing short of a professional.

Geovanny and his team responded to my call immediately. He listened to my concerns and I was able to send him pictures so that we were on the same page. He did not try to force other services on me that was not needed unlike some other companies I reached out to. He and his team arrived at my home early, everybody wore a mask, and everybody was kind. They did what they needed to do plus more at no additional cost. Their price was reasonable compared to many others I reached out to. I would definitely recommend Geovanny and his team and I will reach out to him again for any of my future needs.
P.S I had my master shower re-caulked and he removed and replaced the old sealant around the shower.

We recently had the need for a light fixture to be replaced in our master bath shower.  Living in an older home in Shepherd Park Plaza, we discovered the fixture was burned out and beyond my DIY abilities.  

We found multiple good reviews on Yelp and Neighborhood reviews for Backenhus Electric.  

Called them on Tue afternoon, they were able to schedule a time on Thu afternoon.

The electrician they sent out, Eric was nothing short of awesome...on time, professional, courteous and efficient.   He fixed the light quickly, and we added some extra work of an outlet that needed replaced.  He was honest, earnest and a pleasure to do business with, and the cost was extremely reasonable.  

I would highly recommend them and will use them for any future needs!  Awesome job, thank you!!

We like this company, even though they did not show up or call on the day of our appointment.  I started to panic.  They did come the next day and did a phenomenal job.  They had to work in the attic to string the electrical cords to the electrical outlets they were installing.  I would recommend them.  The young men were polite and efficient.

Just had a whole house generator installed by them and entire process was amazing.  They were very communicative and answered all our questions.  The install process was just as seamless and now we have everything in and ready to go!  Don't hesitate to call them for your needs! Great company and super solid knowledge for this business!

Needed a power outlet installed outside on a brick wall. They arrived on time, completed the job in just over an hour, and left no mess. The job looks very professional and now I am ready to watch the Astros on the patio!

Scott did a great job. Knowledgeable and polite, he finished sooner than expected and was honest about what he could do and what he did and did not recommend doing. He completed a difficult fix on furniture, built out a closet, hung pictures, etc.

I left work early to be home to meet with a technician for a scheduled appointment.  30 minutes after scheduled appointment, I called this company and I was I told I would get a call back with an ETA.  Never received a call back and no one ever showed up to give me an estimate.

Otis and his crew were the only ones out if six local electricians to call me back. They not only were able to get me in the next day, but they arrived ahead of schedule. Otis kept me updated on the price during the process and always thoroughly explained what the issues were. We will 100% call him again and thoroughly recommend him and his crew!

We had issues with our GFCI switches tripping over the last week. Mr Electric responded to my request for diagnosis and the staff was very pleasant at setting up the appointment.

Mr. Marcus Hill was our electrician. He diagnosed the problem, educated us well, and fixed the problem at a fair price.

Anthony (eletrician) was an hour late to our house. His excuse was that his phone was out of batteries and that he didn't have GPS. Very unprofessional right off the bat.

He poked around the breaker box in the house and the meter outside. From what he saw and measured with the voltmeter, nothing was wrong. He said that there was no way he could troubleshoot. Then he said he would check the breaker box again with another gadget and miraculously found the issue. His solution was for us to call CenterPoint.

This whole process took less than 30 minutes and he ended up charging the full hourly rate of $148 per hour. Because he did not have a working phone, I went inside to grab my credit card to call the office to pay. I was greeted by the lovely Laura (wife of the owner). I asked her a few questions about the rate and why it was fair to charge customers for the full hour when the electrician only performed half an hour of work. She immediately started to raise her voice and yelled at me. She said that the rate was fully disclosed and that there was a minimum flat rate of $148 for the first hour (which was not mentioned at all in a previous call when we inquired about the rate). After a couple more rude exchanges, I ended up paying. She mentioned that the electrician would stay the full hour and inspect the house (i.e. change light bulbs), which I declined because I just wanted him out. I went outside to get the invoice from Anthony but he was no where to be found. Again, very unprofessional.

I notified Laura that Anthony had left. She said he would come back with the invoice, but he never did.

This was one of the most frustrating and worst experiences I have ever had and would never recommend Harmony Electrics to anyone I know. There are glowing 5 star reviews on Yelp, but I struggle to see how this company could deliver such service.

We cannot identify you as a customer.  Please respond with the name you were billed under, otherwise we will advise Yelp that this is a false claim.

Who is Ms. Parker? My last initial is C and Yelp doesn't require me to identify myself by my full first and last name. I *was* a customer and I am going to post the invoice I received to the pictures as proof.

To Yelp - Please do not delete this review or any of the other bad reviews for this business. As you can see, Laura has gone through all the bad reviews and either (1) tried to make an excuse as to why they are not in the wrong or (2) invalidate these people as customers. Just look at reviews by Tracey S., Matthew S., Andrew L., etc. I have not seen any other business do this. If anything, the owners are more than apologetic and have offered me gift cards (i.e. businesses that are restaurants) or other remedies.

From Laura - UPDATE: Thank you for sending the invoice.  Now we cannot identify that you and Andrew are related and identify the job.  Please refer to our comments.  We cannot respond to a review if we cannot identify the customer.  I don't know if you are aware that we had a hurricane in Houston and responding to social media has not been a priority.  We already did give you a discount but there is nothing we can do to help you further.  Posting two reviews from the same household is misleading and an attempt to hurt our image.

If Andrew and I are not related, then how do I have an invoice (which was sent to my email directly by the way) to the job for his house? I am not asking for a response from the business owner since I already know how that goes (i.e. more yelling, condescending remarks to try to cover their tracks). I want to share my experience with future customers so they are aware of the type of service they may receive.

Thank you for mentioning Hurricane Harvey. Laura also reprimanded us because she had more important jobs, for example - those affected by Harvey, and I totally agree. But she was the one who provided the time slot of 11:00am on 8/31/2017 to come out and we accepted it. We did not ask her technician to come out as soon as possible and she did not have to schedule us in the midst of the Harvey chaos.

The $20 discount does not even begin to remedy the feelings of being robbed. I accepted it because it's better than giving the business $20 more than they deserve. How is posting two reviews misleading when both of us interacted with you and had the same, rude experience? That's like saying two people of the same household couldn't post 5-star review if they had a good experience. I bet you didn't tell Yelp to take down those duplicate reviews.

If I could give them no stars,  I would have. Their techs are more concerned with sales. I was told that their new policy was that I'd pick a day. They would call me thirty minutes before arrival. I asked, if they would give me a time window. I was told that it was anytime during the day. If I wasn't available, they would just go on.
I asked the representative if she could leave her job for a couple of hours, anytime she needed repairs?
They have little customer service.
I wish that I had seen their Yelp Reviews before I had a service contract. . Multiple one stars are a huge clue.
I'm going to try a company that values my time not theirs.
