Vince was just great!
Had lost power in one part of the house upstairs right after my new air conditioning was installed. The air conditioning install person spent hours trying to fix it but  was not successful. We reached out to Veteran Electric and within an hour, Vince came by with his apprentice before going into the house, Vince fixed a couple of things in the breaker box and everything working within a few minutes! My husband and I were impressed with his knowledge and recommendations for our home. We will be requesting Veteran Electric service from here on out thanks to Vince!

I used yelp to find an electrician at 6:30 pm. Yovani replied in about 5 min. He was able to schedule an appointment first thing the mext morning. He called 30 min before arriving at my house. Quoted my electrical problem, and fixed it within 20 min at a great price! All in all, i would definitely recommend this service! I'll definitely call this company back for my electrical issues in the future!

Geovanny Orrego was a Godsend.  I thank the Yelp community for pointing me in his direction so I am writing this review to help others make their decision.  The main plumbing line to the street clogged at my house.  We couldn't use any of the plumbing in the house.  In my mind it's minor thing.  I have a home snake and whenever I have had to use it over the years it was usually a ten minute job.  Wrong, I couldn't get the snake through.  Still no big deal I'll call a plumber and let him use his professional equipment to get the job done.  I volunteered to keep my in-laws children while they were off on a cruise so this needs to happen fast notwithstanding it's a Saturday.  I found Geovanny on Yelp and due to the complimentary reviews I decided to try him first.  I told him my problem over the phone.  He scheduled me following the current job he was doing.  He walked up and told me exactly what my problem could be based on the tree in my front yard.  We thought it was roots from the tree.  It turned out to be worse.  The line was crushed.  My heart sank fast.  This is the wrong time of year for that type of expense.  Geovanny quoted me a very fair price and worked with me to get the job done.  He came backed Sunday morning to complete the job and I know he's a Texans fan so that couldn't have been easy.  I am forever grateful and after the holidays I have two more jobs waiting for him.  I'll work with nobody else.  Many thanks to a very good handy man and better person.

Bakenhaus was very professional and well priced. I called for an estimate, and was given a rough estimate, after sending images. I had them install a plug in for a Level 2 Tesla charger. Other companies wanted to charge me extra, because it was a Tesla or tell me that it would require extra work. The workers came and installed the plug in, during a 30 minute work call. They charged my card on their phone and everything was good to go!

We like this company, even though they did not show up or call on the day of our appointment.  I started to panic.  They did come the next day and did a phenomenal job.  They had to work in the attic to string the electrical cords to the electrical outlets they were installing.  I would recommend them.  The young men were polite and efficient.

After moving within Houston and losing power for 6+ hours immediately after I moved in, I started looking for a generator.  I spoke to a number of companies; I had about 4 others come out.  When Mr. King came out to give me an estimate, he was straightforward about what he thought I needed (didn't try to oversell), gave me his views on the generator brands, and was very clear about the entire process (including timing delays).  While Brotherly Love's price was just slightly higher than the bigger companies, I went with Brotherly Love because I knew I would be getting an American-made generator and would be working with a family-owned company, both of which matter to me.  When there were some bumps with invoicing, Mr. King handled the matter personally.  Because they were so busy, I did have some trouble at times getting updates on the status of the install of the transfer switch (there was a nation-wide shortage), but eventually we got back on track.  The electrical install team of Tommy and Chance were stellar.  They worked hard, kept the area super clean, and answered all my questions as they went along.  Everyone went above and beyond to make sure my installation went well and that I understood how the system works.  While I don't have any electrical needs (yet), I will be calling Brotherly Love in the future thanks to my positive experience with the generator installation.  I can't recommend them enough.

I have used Beekman Electric twice now for conducting an electrical inspection as part of maintaining our foster
home license. These guys are professional, friendly, and very personable. They show up on time, do the work, gave a summary of their findings and even explain what was controlled by each GFCI. The technician even gave me some tips on water pipes that needed to be wrapped to prevent freezing. If I ever have electrical needs, I'm calling this company immediately to resolve my issues!

Very satisfied! I was referred from a friend in the neighborhood that used a pro master electric for their whole rewire in their home and they were satisfied. I used a pro master electric to install LED lights around my home that lights up my yard at night and later on used them to change my breaker panel! This is my go to electric company !!!

Brandon Guidry was awesome!  We were flooded in Hurricane Harvey and had someone who had experience with electrical wiring but was not licensed fix our electrical issues.  He was so kind and compassionate.  We had one room where no outlets worked and he was able to trouble-shoot and fix the problem.  Great personality and professional.  Reasonable prices. - If you don't choose to go with them, they charge you a full hour - very high price for a quote
- Very rude lady who takes billing info
- Contractor let me go to the store for him to exchange a product that he mistaken bought even though, in his mind, it was a flat priced job

Full Story:
I called to get a quote for a 2 part job and the man who answered told me the hourly rates and that when the contractor got there, they could give me an estimate. The quick 10 minute estimate seemed fair and I asked how much the materials portion of the estimate was. Doing some quick math, it came out to be that the estimate was for 2 hours of work based on their hourly rates.

Now, the issues likely arise from miscommunication on both sides as I should have asked specifically but I had assumed that this estimate and work being done was on a time and materials basis based on the prior conversations. They assumed that now that they gave an estimate, it was a flat priced job.

The contractor that was sent was nice and did a good job but had no parts with him. Once he returned from the store, he realized he had gotten the wrong part. Thinking this was a time and material job, I offered to exchange it for him and get the right part. My trip took 40 minutes and he had been finished with the main, more difficult, part of the job for 10 minutes or so. He popped in the exchanged product and finished up within 5 minutes. Total time that the contractor spent quoting and working was between 1 hour and 1:15.

When paying, they initially were going to charge me for 2 hours. I had assumed the cost would be for an hour or at most an hour and half of the contractors time. After talking with the man I originally spoke with, we agreed to an hour and half which is still more than I would have expected especially with consuming my own time. Upon trying to pay with a credit card, the contractor called a woman on speaker phone to take payment details who immediately stated very loudly and rudely that they wouldn't take credit cards from me since I was getting a 'discount'.

I won't be using them again even though the contractor was pretty good.

Easy to get a next day appointment but their prices are insane. They charge 450 dollars for a part that can be purchased for under 100 at any Walmart, Home Depot, etc. The technician also tried to sell me extra parts that were not necessary. Service was fine but will not use again nor would I recommend to others.
