Best in Houston TX

Had a small job to install two light fixtures in my bathroom and asked them to come out to the house and give me a price and install.  They gave me a 4 hour window from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and you guessed it . . . . they missed their window.  Called back numerous times and got nothing but the run around.  They wanted to move the install to later in the afternoon. Not reliable and not customer focused.  There are other Electricians out there.

Eric came out promptly to provide an estimate and determined we can go with a different solution for the problem. He was extremely friendly, prompt and informative. Recommended based on honesty alone. Much appreciated, Eric!

Jacque was so awesome! He was communicative, on time and did a great job. So kind. Will definitely call again!

Called this morning. They gave me a price to do an inspection of the panel. Said they'd be by tonight.  Good thing I wasted my time waiting for no one to show or call.

Prior to the day of upgrade the business was 5 stars. Upgrade day they moved to a 3 - lack of communication between their employees and contacting Center Point. - CP came to the home at 3 to turn on the lights but Mr E wasn't done yet. So CP left. Mr E supposedly called CP at 5pm to finish the work, and told us CP could be out by 7pm. Long story short, CP never got the call Mr E left the house at 5pm with a family of 8 sitting outside in 100 temps/humidity and mosquitoes- with 2 family members having special medical conditions. CP stated they could be out by 7am the following day.- not good! Now I got involved and called the Mr Electric company and asked for a hotel compensation for the medical kids, they agreed. 1/2 the family stayed the night in a reasonable hotel of $70+ tax (remember Houston) and followed up by emailing the receipt to their recommended email, and I have yet to receive payment. - so I drop to a 3 star. Now a month later, my electric box is popping breakers. I reached out via the website as calling is a hassle, but I will tomorrow during business hours. Mr. Electric could respond to email inquiries via the internet form on their page. They want to sell their services, but once you use them they could care less about keeping their customers. I am not happy with their business, and I have reached out via website, now I have moved on via Facebook. This matter has become personal to the fact that their work could lead to a home fire and as of now if the investigation proves the fire was electrical this Mr. Electric in Katy will be sued. But that is why they get 1.5 stars, I really should give .5

He's a consummate professional. I had just finished texting him for a quote and within 5 seconds he was calling back. He came out and gave me a free quote. He showed up on the scheduled date and exact time. His work was clean and professional. And he's a super nice guy. I highly recommend him.

I needed to add a NEMA 14-50 outlet in the garage for charging my BMW i3.  The quote that I received thru email was very reasonable.  They called me to letting me know that Kevin was on the way and he arrived on time, finished the work fast and kept the work area clean.  The final cost came out to be lower than the email quote and I was also able to use a coupon from their website which made the final cost at least $50 lower than the other electricians.  
When I need an electrician in the future, I know who I am going to call.

We highly recommend. Had the breaker box modified for generator. Great price and fantastic job. Very professional. We will use again and recommend to friends and family.

Reliable, timely & wonderful service!  I sent an email through Yelp asking another company about replacing my mother's flood light (in a tree).  David responded in 10 minutes with a price.  Within 2 hours, he was on the job doing exactly what was requested. My mother was very pleased!  If you're looking for a dependable person to do the job right, David is your guy.  Thanks again for your help David!

Excellent work. Traced a hard to find problem and gave a good price. Easy to communicate with, prompt, takes time to explain. Masks and boot covers. Respectful of property and owner. All in all a terrific service and will be contracting for more overhaul.

I use Aaron and his team here at the church, and they're always professional, on time and are clean. There are never any surprises on quotes or invoices, and I pass their information along often. Thanks Aaron, Kim and Wayne for their hard work.

During our west Houston home renovation we had the entire house re-wired including replacing the breaker box and also added a substantial amount of new electrical outlets and lighting.  The original electrical contractor completely abandoned the job after making a royal mess of things. We were in a state of disaster, however, I found Ruben with Smart Choice and he was able to untangle what the previous contractor had done. Ruben completed the extensive electrical job to our 100% complete satisfaction and highly recommend his company to others!  Thank you Ruben!!

I was going to write a great review for these guys, since generally most people (myself included) post low scoring reviews.  I'm glad to see that these guys are getting great reviews.  Ron came out to our home and really talked to us about what the problem might be, fixed it and left - and didn't leave us a bill. He said it was a quick thing so it wasn't a big deal.  Amazing!!!! I've never experienced service like that. Kudos to Mr. Electric and Ron.
