We had issues with our GFCI switches tripping over the last week. Mr Electric responded to my request for diagnosis and the staff was very pleasant at setting up the appointment.

Mr. Marcus Hill was our electrician. He diagnosed the problem, educated us well, and fixed the problem at a fair price.

I was overcharged by your employee for our services. We trusted your employee to give us a good price where the average cost of services to upgrade a a 40 amp breaker to a 50 amp (and a cable ran 10 -6) with a surge protector ended up costing well into $1500. With our estimations and other companies suggestions the work should have only cost a maximum of $600. So unfortunately We are going to have to give your company a poor review after having multiple electricians (In our family) and two independent quotes reveal to us the overcharge. Thank you Mr. Electric for sending out people who take advantage of urgency.

When purchasing our house the electrical panel had many issues that needed resolving.  
We are having a shed built out the back with power going to the shed.
William D. came and sorted everything out.  I am very impressed with the results.  The new electrical panel looks great.  
Ran cables to where the slab will be poured for the shed foundation.

Very hard to contact, never called back after finally talking to someone. The guy who came was very professional and knowledgeable (the reason for a star). I wanted the accept the deal, but they start to send me to others people and when finally someone picked up the phone they hang up on me. I will not recommend those guys never to my friends.

The technician was on time and knowledgeable. Setting the appointment was easy, the representative was very nice, and I got a same-day appointment. I just wish the prices for services were a bit more reasonable. I will definitely call this company again in the future.

Quick response on Yelp Platform. The Master Electrician addressed both concerns in my kitchen and garage, and executed what was agreed upon within a reasonable amount of time. Price was worth it for me.

Today I have called Mr Electric 7 times.     Endless recordings and menu he'll over and over .     I left a message where they said you would get a callback.    The call came....again endless recordings.    I own several apartment complexes and am changing from gas to electric.    Need help for water heaters and stoves and requiring.    Huge jobs.     But they obviously could not care less.    They have done very good work several times for me but it is impossible to get help or talk with a live person.    I am now calling where a live person eventually picks up the phone.     Do they even care at all?

Predatory pricing at it's best - beware!! I just received a hand written quote with no break down of parts & labor pricing for $1,145 to install a dedicated outlet that is no more than 12 horizontal-feet from my electrical panel - in a brand new home (moved in less than a month ago).

Material and parts needed for this would be a 20amp arc fault breaker ($50), 50ft of 10/2 romex wire ($55), outlet/wall box/plate ($40) = $145 in material/parts. So according to this quote their labor would be *$1,000*!!! For a job this easy - less than 2hrs MAX - that would mean *$500hr* for labor!!

I usually don't leave reviews like this, but it was insulting to be handed a quote that is so blatantly predatory pricing with NO documentation to clearly encompass the bend-over they're trying to peddle you. Steer clear folks!

The work was done on time but I found the charges very high. The electrician replaced  a 100-150 amp main 2 pole breaker which sells for about $150 in the hardware store, so I would expect to pay perhaps $300 for the breaker.  It took him about 3 hours to do the diagnostics and repair. I would expect to pay about $250 for labor, for a total charge of about $550.

My bill was nearly  twice that at $965. I believe the charges were outrageously high and would not recommend the company for that reason

Bert from Mr. Electric was very friendly and professional.  He did several tasks, and he recommended that we not do a couple due to cost.  We really appreciate his advice and workmanship.

Wanted two add two additional outlets added to garage. Mr. Electric quoted me $1,253.47 !!!
I got it done by a great electrician for $395.  Beware!!!

Larry Tiede was the technician that fixed my issues and he gets 5 stars. Explained everything to me, was fast and efficent and went beyond in showing me how to wire my new lights. And thanks Larry for wearing your  booties in the house and taking  them off when in the garage without my having to ask.  I will be asking for Larry in the future.

Francisco was super friendly and very informative on his visit to replace my doorbell that wasn't working in my new home.  Was upfront with any charges before moving as I told him I don't like surprises.  Was very happy with the work done and he gave me some estimates for possible repairs needed going forward like a new breaker box.  Highly recommended

Awesome experience yesterday with Mr Electric..   Electrician Brandon was swift and strategic on finding the problem.  He the executed the issues very swift.  His  style of communicating was professional, but felt like I was speaking to a old friend..   FACTS MY GO TO PLACE FOR LIFE.  PS the prices were very reasonable considering our pandemic..

Had this company give me a bid on some work. The rep was very personable and knowledgeable and I was ready to do business until the bid was presented. I was shocked at the breakdown ($220 to install a $0.99 single pole switch for example). When I objected I was told to company had set rates and nothing could be done. He was correct; nothing would be done with this company. I would have been way over charged. Beware!

I had a great experience with Mr. Electric recently. I sent an online request for service one evening and to my surprise, someone called me within an hour.   They were able to come out the very next day.  The service rep (Brandon) was very professional.  After explaining my issue to him, he explained what steps he would be taking to identify the problem.  The problem was resolved quickly.  Due to the age of my home, he also recommended that I have an electrical safety check.   When he finished, he provided some great suggestions to electrical updates that I may want to consider for my home.  Very satisfied with my first experience using Mr Electric.  Will definitely use again, as well as recommend to family and friends.

The only positive is that they have decent prices but apparently you get what you pay for. They dropped workers at my house who supposedly didn't speak English to dog with zero supervision. The told these people to dig before the utility guy came out to mark the lines. I went out and asked them did they cut my ATT line and they all said no. I didn't believe them so I started walking the Trevino and of course one of them said maybe over there. Of course that's where it was very clear that they had cut a line. They bold faced lied bc the one who said over there wasn't the one digging in that area so they all knew. At the same time I'm out here looking at this cut like the utilities guy comes up to me and says he was here to mark the lines and they weren't supposed to start digging until he marked them. He also stated that I was lucky that they didn't hit the gas line. So not only were they negligent but lied and would have covered it up if I hadn't checked behind them. I feel that Mr. Electric should have supervised these people who weren't even their employees instead of dropping them at my home and leaving it for me to supervise. Considering these people weren't employees I doubt they even ran background checks or knew their full names since they were just there to dig. Also Mr. Electric left them to start digging knowing the lines weren't marked which was beyond negligence and dangerous. All the guy from Mr. Electric said was well they don't know English. A lie considering they understood enough to lie and then tell me the truth when they knew the damage would be discovered. He didn't apologize or give an explanation of why he left them to dig without the lines being marked. Lastly there were about five workers and they all camped out on my neighbor's lawn. I don't believe anyone should camp out on another's lawn without permission however they could of at least stayed on the property they were servicing. If they aren't going to teach these people how to conduct themselves then they surely shouldn't leave them unsupervised at a clients house. This company was negligent and didn't take enough responsibility to give me a simple apology.

I called Mr Electric for a quote on a pretty big job.

The good: they scheduled a quote within 48 hours, the tech arrived when he said he would to walk through everything I wanted done, was very personable, seemed knowledgable and explained his recommendations on how to best accomplish the work. He then left, saying they would email me the quote.

The bad: all of that was about a week ago, and I never got an emailed quote or a call to follow up. So, I called them, and was told the quote was in progress, and the very nice rep I was talking to told me she would follow up. She then called back yesterday, a little after 5, saying I would have the emailed quote in about an hour, and the tech would then call to walk through it with me. I still don't have the quote, and I haven't heard back.

I really wanted to like Mr Electric, but it seems they can't or don't want to provide a quote.

Electrician Luis B. was very very professional, courtesy, and extremely well knowledge in the ALL of the issues I was experiencing . He quoted me a very very fair price for a tune-up I will need in the future. My service was extremely exceptional and I will be calling them again. The only recommendation I have is that they list a ball park figure of the price of a job as an estimate on their website.  

FYI another service with the initials JM came to my house a while back and quoted me an outrageous price for what ever reason. So please check with Mr. Electric before giving in to their price.

Very professional and informational! They made sure to explain everything and explain the prices before trying to charge us for something! The technicians were very courteous of our home. They left the job clean and made sure we were 100 % satisfied before they left. We signed up for the membership to get the extra 15% off services, we will be using them more in the future. We also used their financing department and they were having a special with no interest, it worked out great for us! We highly recommend them!

Brandon Guidry was awesome!  We were flooded in Hurricane Harvey and had someone who had experience with electrical wiring but was not licensed fix our electrical issues.  He was so kind and compassionate.  We had one room where no outlets worked and he was able to trouble-shoot and fix the problem.  Great personality and professional.  Reasonable prices. Horrible service. They came out before Christmas to repair an issue with electricity in my house and did not fix it properly and now several areas in my house the power is not working if anything they exacerbated the issue and made it worse none of these plugs had issues before they showed up and now I have the same problem that they never fixed and more.

We have used them to install and repair sconces inside and outside as well as install a large entry lantern.  The entry lantern was damaged upon arrival, but the damage (a crooked down rod) was not visible until it had already been installed.  They came back to address the issue, and then helped us obtain and install a replacement light.  Kathy, in the office, was so helpful, truly went above and beyond in the name of customer service and the technicians we've had are good too.  We will definitely continue to use and recommend Mr. Electric.

I had a problem with my 220v dryer that wasn't starting.  The electrician was able to find out that there was a grounding problem preventing the dryer from starting.  He seemed very knowledgeable and friendly.  Very satisfied.

I needed a few things done at the house (replace grounding rod, replace a few outlets that were not working, and change out some light switches) so I called Mr. Electric.  The technician's name was Louis and he was wonderful.  He called me when he was 30 min. out, showed up on time, was professional, explained the estimate before doing any work, and was so respectful.  Every time he went outside he took his shoe covers off and then when he came back inside the shoe covers came back on.  I highly recommend using this company for any of your electrical needs.
