When my husband left on a 3 week business trip, I jokingly said I hope nothing breaks while you're gone. Five days later the sump pump goes out ...after asking if anyone I know can recommend a plumber...I hopped on yelp and found Dunbar Plumbing...I called them Monday at 7:30, my sumo pump was installed and I was back in business by 10:45!! Mr. Dunbar explained what I needed, sent pictures, and even offered to send me an estimate for replacing my water heater...I am beyond happy!!! I will recommend them to anybody who asks!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for getting us up and running so quickly!!!

I called Kevin last night and he came out the next day. Did a great job. Helped me trouble shoot a very tricky leak and fixed it for a very fair price. I'd recommend him 100% if your looking for an honest fair plumber

During the recent polar vortex I had a pipe burst.  I got three referrals from a trusted source.  Had to leave a voicemail for the first two.  Called Don Mathieu and he answered.  Told me he would arrive in 3-4 hours.  Three hours later he was at my house and had the pipe repaired an hour later.  The charge was much less than expected.  I knew my hot water tank needed to be replaced as it had been leaking and was past warranty.  I hired Don and he just completed that job.  He was on-time, efficient, competitively priced and left no mess.  He's very friendly and informative, highly skilled and very fair.  What more can you ask for!  He's definitely my new go-to plumber and I highly recommend him.

Ralph recently handles two jobs for me at a rental unit in the city.  He did a great job, showed up on time and communicated the issues to me.  Couldn't ask for anything more and will definitely use Ralph again in the future.

I called Good Plumbing because of their positive reviews on Yelp and I was not disappointed.  They were very friendly and clear on the phone, they showed up on time (early!), they did a great job, and they charged less than I expected based on other plumbing companies I had called.  I will definitely call them again with any plumbing issues.

This past Saturday while babysitting for my son, the kitchen sink began draining extremely slowly.  I tried plunging and putting drain cleaner down the drain with no success.  I called several emergency plumbing companies.  They all wanted to assess a heavy emergency fee up front plus a ridiculous hourly rate to come out to assess the problem.  I called Gino at Excellent Plumbing.  He responded immediately and within 2 hours was at our house.  He snaked the sewer line under the sink multiple times and corrected the problem for only $250.00.  What a great job he did.  I highly recommend this company.

Had Mike out from Flo-Maxx to clean out two different bathrooms, one had to be rodded from the toilet and the other the bathtub. He and his partner were fast, kept everything nice and clean-showed me what they were doing and what was going on inside the pipes. Would definitely recommend them a thousand times over!

This company is honest and willing to do the job right. My only regret is that I didn't call them the first time...

I had some tree roots in the sewer line causing a backup. The other plumbing service claimed that they weren't able to clear the roots and gave me a quote to dig up the pipe and replace the sewer line - stating it was a dire emergency.

All Plumbing and Sewer came out when the pipe was backing up again and they were able to clear the line using the exact same equipment. They inspected the pipe and showed me that there weren't any breaks - and no reason to dig up the sewer. The owner arrived at our home halfway through the job to make sure that everything went well - he was very interested in making sure that I got taken care of properly this time around, which made me feel really good about the work being done.

I have to say that his staff was professional, arrived on time and did a great job. I am very pleased with the way they came in and helped me with my situation. I was given a lesson in how to maintain the sewer going forward and I would not think twice about recommending this company to a friend, neighbor, or relative.

Pete is a very knowledgeable plumber.  He is straightforward with the scope of the work and pricing and a very fair person to work with.  I appreciate his craftsmanship and use him whenever I have the need for a plumber.

Excellent service;  fair prices.  We had a pipe burst during the polar vortex.  Victor came within a day at a very busy time, and installed a new shutoff valve.  His son returned a few days later, and replaced the pipe that was burst.  

We have also used Hinsdale Plumbing to replace two toilets.  Professional service that includes arriving at the scheduled time.  Will definitely use them again.

Paul and his crew were quick, clean and reasonably priced.  I really have had bad experiences with plumbers, usually they're condescending and aggressive. Never have I experienced that with the two times I've had to use Glennon plumbing in these very old house of mine.  Seriously use them, the best!  Thanks Paul!!

I had a Moen shower cartridge that broke off inside the valve. Came looking on yelp for a plumber to help get it out. Called several plumbers, but Debbie at A&D was willing to give an approx quote. Matt and Brandon came out on time and were able to get the old one out and put in the new one. Honestly they saved us from having to replace the whole valve which would have meant tearing up the tile. These guys are a local, family owned company and I'm glad to have given them my business. Thank you!

Had Chuck come out to look at my sewer back up. He responded quickly and did a camera view of my drain.  I could see there was an obstruction due to a cracked drain tile just in front of my home. He had to dig up my front lawn and replace the broken drain which was about 8 feet below.  They stayed working on it and completed the job well. They also added a clean out for future use if the drain needed cleaning.  I was extremely pleased with the results and have recommended them to others. Chuck is a honest and diligent plumber that is highly knowledgable.  I will definitely recommend his services again.

We had a small leak under our kitchen sink and I wasn't sure what the cause was so I went into the Yelp portal and found Easy Work (Jon). He was very responsive and after showing pics and video, he gave me a quote and came over the next day to take care of the issue. He was on time, answered calls/texts, and very professional. Highly recommend!

Yep, good as it gets. Reliable's been around for a long time -- their dad started the business and now two brothers carry on the tradition. Josh quoted a price to us for finally resolving our sump pump/gutter problem. He ran into a problem because of tree roots gone wild in the parkway -- making the job more labor intensive than he thought. Didn't make any difference. He was prompt, courteous and, like the company name says, reliable. We couldn't be more pleased.

While he worked around rain days, our hot water tank bit the dust. We called Josh and four hours later we had a new hot water tank at a very reasonable price.

I had 3 unrelated plumbing repairs that needed to be done - a leaky sink, installation/replacement of kitchen sink garbage disposal, and a stuffed up drain in the basement. The basement drain was fixed/rooted- no problem.
However, the sink disposal we bought was criticized because Matt never heard of it, even though it is one of the best rated brands. And he wouldn't install it because it had a plug- even though the wires were already under the sink from the old disposal and only the in-sinkerator has a no-plug end. Look it up - everyone just says install a box or cut the plug. But I didn't know what to say - I am dumb about plumbing. THAT IS WHY I CALLED A PLUMBER!!!!
After, my wife pulled the wires, put in an outlet and installed the unit herself yesterday - which made me mad because I took the time to call a plumber and got no husband credit for that. It took my wife an hour +1/2, but Matt couldn't / wouldn't do it. He seemed annoyed at the project. It probably should have take him 1/2 hour.
And he couldn't fix the leaking sink because of one reason or another.
I was charged $280 for a simple pipe rooting - I think that is high. He obviously charged me for looking at the stuff he wouldn't/couldn't do. And I have no experience with this stuff so I need a plumber to do it for me. Money was not an issue, but I feel he overcharged me.
No, I would not recommend or call him again. I actually never had a worse experience with a plumber. I expect jobs to be done - not just passed over as inconvenient. Now I have to call another plumber and have the sink fixed. Based on the other ratings, did he just had a bad day?

Great job!  Responsive, timely and affordable. We will definitely call for future needs.
